IMPORTANT SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS
WARNING: When using this product, basic precautions should always be
followed, including the following:
 Read all the instructions before using the product.
 To reduce the risk of injury, close supervision is necessary when the product is
used near children.
 Do not put fingers or hands into the product.
 Use of an attachment not recommended or sold by power pack (inverter)
manufacturer may result in a risk of fire, electric shock, or injury to persons.
 To reduce risk of damage to the electric plug and cord, pull the plug rather than
the cord when disconnecting the power pack (inverter).
 Do not use a battery pack or appliance that is damaged or modified. Damaged or
modified batteries may exhibit unpredictable behavior resulting in fire, explosion,
or risk of injury.
 Do not operate the power pack (inverter) with a damaged cord or plug, or a
damaged output cable.
 Do not disassemble the power pack (inverter), take it to a qualified service person
when service or repair is required. Incorrect reassembly may result in a risk of fire
or electric shock.
 To reduce the risk of electric shock, unplug the power pack (inverter) form the
outlet before attempting any instructed servicing.
WARNING: RISK OF EXPLOSIVE GASES
 To reduce risk of battery explosion, follow these instructions and those published
by battery manufacturer and manufacturer of the equipment you intend to use in
vicinity of the battery. Review cautionary marking on these products.
PERSONAL PRECAUTIONS
 NEVER smoke or allow a spark or flame in vicinity of battery.
 Be extra cautious to reduce risk of dropping a metal tool onto battery. It might
spark or short circuit battery or other electrical part that may cause explosion.
56-VOLT POWER INVERTER8
 When charging the internal battery, work in a well ventilated area and do not
restrict ventilation in any way.
 Under abusive conditions, liquid may be ejected from the battery; avoid contact. If
contact accidentally occurs, flush with water. If liquid contacts eyes, additionally
seek medical help. Liquid ejected from the battery may cause irritation or burns.
 Have plenty of fresh water and soap nearby in case battery acid contacts skin,
clothing, or eyes.
 Wear complete eye protection and clothing protection. Avoid touching eyes while
working near battery.
 If battery acid contacts skin or clothing, wash immediately with soap and water.
If acid enters eye, immediately flood eye with running cold water for at least 10
minutes and get medical attention immediately
 Do not expose a power pack (inverter) to fire or excessive temperature. Exposure
to fire or temperature above 265 °F (130°) may cause explosion.
 Have servicing performed by a qualified repair person using only identical
replacement parts. This will ensure that the safety of the product is maintained.
WARNING: Read all safety warnings and instructions. Failure to follow the
warnings and instructions may result in electric shock, fire and/or serious injury.

OVER TEMPERATURE PROTECTION
If the battery or inverter temperature exceeds 158°F (70°C) during operation, the
temperature-protection circuit will shut off the unit in 1 minute to protect from
overheating damage. The power button indicator will glow solid red for 1 minute. Allow
the unit to cool until its temperature drops below 152°F (67°C) before restarting.
LOW BATTERY PACK CHARGE PROTECTION
The inverter automatically shuts down 1 minute after the battery pack charge reached
a low level.
Charge the battery pack.
OVERLOAD OR SHORT CIRCUIT PROTECTION
When the connected AC device draws more than the rated power of the port, the
inverter LED indicator will flash red for 1 minute at 1 flash every 0.5 seconds. Then the
inverter will automatically shut down.
Disconnect the AC device.
USING WITH EXTERNAL DEVICES
When a charged battery pack is installed, the power inverter converts DC electricity to
120V AC household power and/or USB-A (5/9/12V, up to 18 W) or USB-C output port 1
(5/9/12/15/20V, up to 18 W) or USB-C input/output port 2 (5/9/12/15/20V, up to 100 W)
supply power, allowing the user to charge and power a variety of devices.
Additionally the power inverter can charge the EGO battery when a USB PD charger is
connected to the USB-C input/output port 2 (5/9/12/15/20V, up to 100 W).
NOTE: The inverter may not be compatible for use with some USB PD chargers.
WARNING: Risk of electric shock. When using a grounded appliance, the product
will not provide an electrical path to earth ground. Do not power devices with damaged
or frayed power cords.
WARNING: To avoid a risk of electric shock, do not insert a nail, wire, etc. into
the AC output port.
WARNING: Risk of electric shock and risk of fire. This device is not to be stored
or kept in a vehicle.
1. Insert a battery pack into the power inverter.
56-VOLT POWER INVERTER 19
2.
Press and hold the power button for more than half a second to turn the inverter ON.
The LED in the power button will illuminate green when the inverter is ready to use.
3. Plug devices you want to power or charge into the power inverter’s USB ports
and/or 120 volt AC output port. The power inverter will begin charging/powering
the devices automatically.
4. Or plug compatible USB PD charger into the inverter’s USB-C input/output port 2
to charge the EGO battery installed on the inverter, then plug the other end of the
charger into household outlet.
5. When the power inverter is not in use, disconnect the devices from the inverter,
then press and hold the power button for more than half a second to turn it OFF.
6. Remove the battery pack from the power inverter.
NOTE:
 Runtime of the connected device is dependent upon the device and the EGO
battery capacity.
 Charging time of the EGO battery pack is dependent upon the USB PD charger.
 The power inverter may get warm. This is part of the normal operation of the
power inverter.
 Always use the power inverter in a well-ventilated area.
 Do not insert a nail, wire, etc. into the USB ports. Otherwise a short circuit may
damage the USB ports.
 When switching on the power inverter, if the USB output current is less than
100mA and the AC output power is less than 10W, the system will shut off
automatically in 2 hours.

The power inverter cannot be turned OFF while the EGO battery is charging using
the USB-C input/output port 2. Disconnect the USB PD charger from the inverter first,
then press and hold the power button for more than half a second to turn it OFF.
 The power inverter cannot be turned OFF while powering some devices via USB-C
port 1 or port 2. Disconnect the devices from the inverter first, then press and hold
the power button for more than half a second to turn it OFF.
 When a power bank is connected, sometimes the GREEN LED of the power button
fades in and out, that means “powering the power bank”. Sometimes the ORANGE
LED fades in and out, that means “charging the EGO battery pack”.
56-VOLT POWER INVERTER20
MAINTENANCE
WARNING:
To avoid serious personal injury, always remove the battery pack
from the power inverter when cleaning or performing any maintenance.
WARNING:
When servicing, use only identical EGO replacement parts. Use of
any other parts may create a hazard or cause product damage. To ensure safety and
reliability, all repairs should be performed by a qualified service technician.
GENERAL MAINTENANCE
Avoid using solvents when cleaning plastic parts. Most plastics are susceptible to
damage from various types of commercial solvents and may be damaged by their use.
Use a clean cloth to remove dirt, dust, oil, grease, etc.
WARNING:
Do not at any time allow brake fluids, gasoline, petroleum-based
products, penetrating oils, etc. to come in contact with plastic parts. Chemicals can
damage, weaken or destroy plastic which may result in serious personal injury.
STORING THE UNIT
 Remove the battery pack from the power inverter.
 Clean the power inverter thoroughly before storing it.
 Store the unit in a dry, well-ventilated area, locked-up or up high, out of the reach
of children. Do not store the unit on or adjacent to fertilizers, gasoline, or other
chemicals.
