Removeanyobjectsordebristhatcouldbethrownbythe

trimmer.

•Trimonlywhenthegrassandweedsaredry.

•Slowlymovethetrimmerinandoutoftheareabeingcut

thespool,re-feedthelinethroughtheeyelet,andassemble

thespooltothetrimmer.

spoolofline(Model88185or88045)orbulkline(0.065inch

diameterx10ft)thatyoucanwindontotheoldspool.Bothare

availablefromanAuthorizedServiceDealer.

CAUTION

IfyouuselineotherthanToro0.065inchdiameter

nylonmonolament,itcouldcutthroughclothesand

skincausinginjuryand/oroverloadthemotor,possibly

causingareorelectricalshock.

Donotusemetalwire,rope,plasticknives,orany

cuttinglineormaterialotherthanToro0.065inch

diameternylonmonolament,10ft.maximumline

length.

Thespoolmaywearduringnormaluseandrequireoccasional

replacement.

Note:Ifthelineshouldtangleorbreakattheeyelet,stopthe

trimmer,removethespoolasdescribedbelow,feedtheline

throughtheeyelet,andreassemblethespooltothecuttinghead.

CAUTION

5.Unwindnomorethan7.6cm(3inches)oflinefromspool

(eitherneworre-wound)andholdthelineandspoolto

preventthelinefromunraveling.

6.Whileholdingthelineandspool,placethecaponthespool.

7.Insertthelineintotheeyelet,aligningthecaptabswiththe

slotsinthecutterhead.

8.Pressinthetabsandpushdownthecapandspooltolock

thecapinplace(Figure9).

Maintenance

Aftereachuseofthetrimmer,dothefollowing:

•Wipethetrimmercleanwithadampcloth.Donothosethe

trimmerdownorsubmerseitinwater.

•Wipeorscrapecleananyaccumulationofdirtorcuttingsfrom

thetrimmerheadandspool.

•Checkandtightenallfasteners.Ifanypartisdamagedor

lost,repairorreplaceit.

•Removeanydebrisawayfromairintakevents(Figure11).

reducirálavidadelabatería.Estabateríadeplomo-ácidono

•Utiliceladesbrozadoraúnicamentecuandolahierbaylas

malashierbasestánsecas.

•Muevaladesbrozadoralentamente,introduciéndolay

retirándoladelazonaacortar(Figura5).

•Sielhilonosealargadevezencuando,sedesgastará

hastaelojal.Cuandoladesbrozadorasepara,elhilotiene

arelajarseypuederetraersedentrodelcabezaldecorte.Si

estoocurre,retireelcarrete,vuelvaapasarelhiloporelojal

elcarreteantiguo.PuedeadquirirambosensuDistribuidor

Autorizado.

Siutilizaotrohiloquenoseaelhilodenylon

monolamentoTorode1.6mm(0.065")dediámetro,

podríacortarlaropaylapielcausandolesiones

y/osobrecargarelmotor,yposiblementecausarun

incendioounadescargaeléctrica.

Noutilicealambre,cuerdanormal,cuchillosdeplástico

niningúnhilooelementodecortequenoseaelhilo

denylonmonolamentoTorode1.6mm(0.065")de

diámetro,conlongitudmáximade3m(10pies).

B.Enrolleelhiloenelsentidoquemarcalaechadel

carrete,deformahomogénea,enelcanaldelcarrete

•Limpieorasquetodaacumulaciónderesiduosyrecortesdel

cabezalydelcarretedeladesbrozadorea.

•Compruebeyaprietetodaslasjaciones.Repareosustituya

cualquierpiezadañadaoquefalte.

•Eliminecualquiersuciedaddelasentradasdeaire(Figura
