Make sure to disconnect the power cabling before installing the camera. Camera will begin moving
immediately when power cable is connected.
Make sure to install the camera in a location that can support the combined weight of the camera
and wall mount (weight: 11.7lb/5.3kg).
Make sure to secure the camera during installation by connecting the included safety chain.
Camera is rated for outdoor use. It is recommended to install the camera in a sheltered area, such
as under the eaves on a roof.
It is recommended to install the camera as high up as possible to get the best possible image.
Mount the camera where the lens is away from direct and intense sunlight.
Mount the camera in an area that is visible but out of reach.
Ensure that the camera wiring is not exposed or easily cut.
Plan your cable wiring so that it does not interfere with power lines or telephone lines.
Ensure you adhere to local building codes.
Attention: A REGULATED UL / CSA APPROVED power supply is REQUIRED for use with this
camera (included). Use of a non-regulated, non-conforming power supply can damage this
product and voids the warranty.
Installation

Step one.
1. Attach the rubber ring to the
back of the wall mount.
2. Use the allen key (A) with the
at end to attach three M6x14
screws (see Figure 1). Do not
tighten all the way.
3. Use the wall mount to mark
holes for the mounting
anchors and cables.
4. Drill holes (drill bit size - 3/8")
to a depth of 2.8"/70mm in
the mounting surface.
5. Insert the mounting anchors.

Step two.
1. Connect the safety chain between the
camera and the wall mount to protect the
camera from falling while connecting the
cables (see Figure 2).

CAUTION:
Do not hold the camera from the
cable. Hold the camera from the edge
of the dome cover (see Figure 3).

1. Push the connection cables into the
wall mount (see Figure 4).

Step four.
1. Push the camera into the wall mount
with the at surfaces aligned on the
inside. This will allow the M6x14
screws to align with the holes on
the camera.
2. Use the included allen key (A) to
tighten the M6x14 screws and
secure the camera in
(see Figure 5).

a. Fit the o-ring around the camera Ethernet connector.
b. Feed the Ethernet extension cable through the end cap and the barrel then connect the cable
to the camera Ethernet connector.
c. Twist the barrel securely onto the camera Ethernet connector. The o-ring becomes
compressed when the seal is properly tight.
d. Split the stopper to wrap it around the cable between the barrel and end cap as shown above.
e. Push the stopper toward the barrel until it is underneath the teeth at the end of the barrel.
f. Twist the end cap clockwise to secure it onto the barrel. The stopper becomes compressed
and will stick out of the end cap slightly when the seal is properly tight.

Step six.
1. Pull the connection cables through the
wall mount and mounting surface.
2. Use the allen key (B), mounting screws,
and at washers (x4) to rmly secure
the wall mount to the mounting surface
(see Figure 7).

Note: If mounting the camera
on a drywall surface, you must
drill at least 2 of the mounting
screws through a wooden stud
to ensure a stable mount.
3. Remove the protective vinyl sheet
covering the camera lens.

S’assurer de débrancher le câblage d’alimentation avant d’installer la caméra. La caméra

Assurez-vous d’installer la caméra dans un endroit qui peut supporter le poids combiné de la
caméra et du support mural (poids: 11,7lb/5,3kg).
Veillez à sécuriser la caméra lors de l’installation au moyen de la chaîne de sécurité fournie.
La caméra est conçue pour être utilisée à l’extérieur. Il est recommandé d’installer la caméra dans
un endroit couvert, par exemple sous l’avant-toit.
Il est recommandé d’installer la caméra aussi haut que possible pour obtenir la meilleure image
possible.
Fixer la caméra à un endroit où la lentille ne sera pas exposée directement à la lumière intense du
soleil.
Fixer la caméra dans un lieu visible, mais hors de portée.
S’assurer que le câble de la caméra ne soit pas exposé ou coupé facilement.
Planier l’installation des câbles pour qu’ils n’interfèrent pas avec les lignes de courant ou les
lignes téléphoniques.
S’assurer de respecter le code du bâtiment local.
Attention: Un bloc d’alimentation STABILISÉ et CERTIFIÉUL/CSA est NÉCESSAIRE pour
l’utilisation de cette caméra (fourni). L’utilisation d’un bloc d’alimentation non régulé et non
conforme peut endommager ce produit et annuler la garantie.

Première étape.
1. Fixez la bague en caoutchouc
à l’arrière du support mural.
2. Utilisez l’extrémité plate de la
clé Allen (A) pour xer trois
visM6x14 (voir Figure1). Ne
serrez pas complètement.
3. Utilisez le support mural pour
marquer l’emplacement des
trous pour les ancrages de
montage et les câbles.
4. Percez les trous (mèche de
3/8po) à une profondeur de
2,8po/70mm dans la surface
de montage.
5. Insérez les ancrages de
montage.
