• This appliance is lled with Propane gas R290.

Strictly follow the manufacturer’s instruction

concerning use and repairs.

• Before using the device, please carefully read the

entire instruction manual

• Do not install, operate or store the device in

a room smaller than 7m² (DXMA04) / 10m²

(DXMA05). This is due to the propane gas in the

air conditioner. If it is stored in a space that is too

small, this can cause a risk of explosion.

General cautions

• For indoor use only.

• Do not use in cabinet, closets, boats, caravans or

similar locations.

• Do not use the device in swimming pools,

washrooms or similar wet areas.

• Leave the device to stand for 12hours before

connecting to the mains supply after transport or

any other defect. Return the complete product to

the point of purchase or to a certied electrician

for inspection and/or repair. Always ask for

original parts. The device (incl. cord and plug)

• Only a licensed professional is allowed to

dismantle or modify the device.

• This device is to be used only for its prescribed

purpose. Any other use is deemed to be a

cause of misuse. The user/operator, not the

manufacturer will be liable for any damage or

injuries of any kind caused as a result of this.

avoid any hazard.

• The mains supply must conrm to the

specication shown on the rating label on the

back of the device.

• The appliance shall be installed in accordance

with national wiring regulations.

• Do not exceed the recommended room size for

max. eciency.

• Close doors and windows for optimal eciency.

• Keep curtains or blinds closed during the

sunniest hours of the day.

• Keep lters clean.

• Once the room has reached the desired

conditions, reduce the setting for temperature

and ventilation.

• Do not turn on the device if you have discovered

Read these warnings carefully

• This device contains R290 refrigerant. R290 is

a refrigerant that complies with the relevant

European directives. Never puncture the

refrigerant circuit. R290 is ammable (GWP3)!

• Do not use any products other than those

recommended by the manufacturer to speed up

the defrosting process or for cleaning.

• The device must be stored in a room with no

continuously working sources of ignition (for

example: open re, a working gas appliance or a

working electric heating element).

• Do not pierce or burn any part of the device’s

cooling circuit. Do not place any light on the

device.

• The device must be stored in such a way that

no mechanical damage can occur. Refrigerants

cannot contain any odour, so you cannot smell

signs of a gas leak.

• National gas regulations must be observed.

• Keep the ventilation grills free from obstructions.

Anyone involved in working on or penetrating

a refrigerant circuit must be in possession of a

current valid certicate issued by an industry-

approved body authorised to do so.

Installation of the

window kit

Blizzard is a portable air conditioner that may

be moved from room to room. Please refer to

the seperate instructions on how to install the

included window sealing set.

Mounting of the exhaust pipe

• Use only the hose provided and clip exhaust hose

to the back of the air conditioner

• Avoid kinks and bends in the exhaust hose as this

will cause expelled moist air to build up causing

the unit to overheat and shut down. Figures

below will show the correct position.

• The hose may be extended from 300mm to

1500mm but for maximum eciency use the

shortest length possible.

Installation of the carbon

lter

Carefully remove the upper grill at the back of

the air conditioner.

Remove the lter from the unit.

Remove the active carbon lter from its plastic

bag.

Insert the active carbon lter into the back of

the unit.

Re-t the lter inside the unit.

Place the grill back on the air conditioner.

Remove the lid.

Place the battery according to the instructions

on the lid with the correct polarity.

Close the lid.

Opmerking:

• Only use 1x CR2032 3V batteries

• Non-rechargeable batteries are not to

be recharged

• Exhausted batteries are to be removed from

the remote control and safely disposed of

• If the remote control is to be stored unused for

a long period, the battery should be removed

• The supply terminals are not to be

short-circuited.

Installation of the remote control

Warning! The length of the exhaust pipe is

specially designed according to the specication of

this product. Do not replace or prolong it with your

own private hose as this could cause the unit to

malfunction.

Always unplug the air conditioner from the mains

before cleaning. To maximize the eciency of the

air conditioner, clean regularly.

Cleaning the body

Use a soft, damp cloth to wipe the body clean.

Never use aggressive chemicals, gasoline,

detergents, chemically treated cloths, or other

cleansing solutions. These all could possibly hurt

the casing material.

Cleaning the lter

Use a vacuum cleaner or tap the lter lightly to

remove loose dust and dirt from the lters and

then rinse thoroughly under running water (no

hotter than 40⁰C). Dry thoroughly before replacing.

3. Maintenance

Note: Never operate the unit without the lter.

Long term storage

• Drain any remaining water in the unit

• Operate the unit in ventilation mode only for a

few hours to thoroughly dry the inside.

• Clean or change the lter.

• Unplug and store the power cord.

• Cover the device in a close carton or bag (not

hotter than 40⁰C). Dry thoroughly before storing.

• Do not store the device in a room smaller than

7m² (DXMA04) / 10m² (DXMA05). This is due to

the propane gas in the air conditioner. If it is

stored in a space that is too small, this can cause

a risk of explosion.

Attention! when the outside temperature is

warm for a long period of time, this heat will also

be noticeable in the house. Furniture, bedding,

curtains, carpets and the like can retain a lot of

heat. As a result, the air conditioner may need

longer to cool the room.

Tips and recommendations

• To obtain the highest air conditioner eciency,

observe the following recommendations:

• Close windows and doors in the room to be air

conditioned. The only exception is installation

through a hole in the wall. In this case, it is

recommended to leave a door or window ajar to

ensure ventilation.

• Do not use the device in rooms with high

humidity (e.g. laundry rooms).

• Protect the room from direct sunlight by closing

the curtains and/or partially closing the blinds,

thus ensuring highly economical operation (Fig.

21).

• Do not use the device outdoors.

• Make sure there are no heat sources in the room.

• Make sure that the air conditioner is placed on a

at oor.

• Do not place items on top of the air conditioner.

• Do not obstruct the air inlets.

Attention: never use the air conditioner without

a lter. This will lead to dust particles on the ribs

which you will not be able to remove later.

Tip: clean the lter every 2 weeks. A clean lter

improves the operation of the air conditioner! You

can remove dust particles from the lter using a

dry cloth or through careful use of a vacuum

cleaner.

Power switch

Press the ON/OFF button and the unit will start.

If the ambient temperature is:

• Higher than 22⁰C, the unit will operate in

cooling mode.

• Higher than 20⁰C but below or equal to 22⁰C,

the unit will operate in ventilation mode.

Indicators of the functions in progress are

shown simultaneously.

Note: The display window shows the ambient

room temperature from 0⁰C to 50⁰C.

To turn the unit o, press ON/OFF button again

Select operation mode

Press the MODE button to select the preferred

operation mode: automatic, cooling, fan or

dehumidify. The indicator of your selected mode

will illuminate.

Cooling mode

When the air conditioner is in cooling mode, it

cools the room. The compressor is then switched

on. When the air conditioner has reached the

desired temperature, it will switch to ventilation

mode.

Ventilation mode

In ventilation mode, the air conditioner will only

ventilate. It circulates the air in the room, which has

a cooling eect. The compressor will not switch on

in this mode.

Automatic mode

When the AUTO mode is active, the ventilation

speed is automatically selected based on the

ambient temperature (the relevant indicator lights

up). The SPEED button is locked in AUTO mode.

Setting the temperature

Press ‘Temperature up’ or ‘Temperature down’

button to regulate the temperature according

to your preference.

The display window will show the desired

temperature as you press ‘Temperature up’ or

‘Temperature down’ button. In stand-by mode,

it will always show the ambient temperature.

The default factory setting of this machine is

24⁰C for cooling.

The unit will shut down automatically when

NIGHT mode is running for more than 12

hours.

Note: the night mode is not available while the

machine is operating in AUTO, Fan (ventilation) or

Dehumidication mode.

Note: In night mode, the display will

automatically dim after a few seconds. Press any

key to reactive the control panel.

Self-diagnosis

This machine is equipped with self-diagnosis

software. If the device is not working, the LCD

display will show “E1” or “E2”. When this occurs,

please contact your point of purchase.

All the above functions can also be performed with

the supplied remote control. This remote control

requires a cell battery CR2032 to operate.

Note:

•To prolong the lifespan of the compressor, please

wait at least 3 minutes before re-switching on the

device after switching o.

• The cooling system will switch o if the ambient

temperature is lower than the set one. However, the

ventilation keeps operating on the set level. If the

ambient temperature rises above the selected level,

the cooling will return to work.

Adjusting the ventilation speed

Press the SPEED button to choose the

ventilation speed you prefer: high, medium

or low. The indicator of high, medium or low

ventilation will illuminate.

Setting the timer

By pressing the TIMER button without using the

other functions, you can activate a start delay.

For example, if you set the timer to ‘2’, the unit

will automatically start after 2 hours.

Press the TIMER button to set a time-out (1 to

24 hours, the timer indicator will illuminate).

When the set time has been reached, the

machine will turn o automatically. The LCD

display will show the hour(s) you set as you

press the TIMER button.

Night mode

When pressing the NIGHT mode button in

cooling mode, the set temperature will increase

with 1⁰C after one hour, another 1⁰C after two

hours and then stays at that temperature.

In NIGHT mode, the ventilation will remain

at low speed. By pressing the NIGHT mode

button again, the temperature and ventilation

speed will return to the previous settings.

Drainage

During the process of cooling, some water will be

extracted from the air into the unit. If the reservoir

is full, both of the compressor and motor will

switch o and the units will buzz (press any button

to turn it o). The WATER FULL indicator will ash

to show you.In this case, please empty the water by

following the steps below:

Turn o the air conditioner and avoid moving it

when the water tank is full.

Put a container (a water tray for example)

underneath the drain hole.

Remove the drain knob & rubber plug from the

drain hole and allow the water to drain out.

When the container is almost full, close the

drain hole with the rubber plug and empty the

water tray.

Repeat until the unit is fully empty.

Replace the rubber plug andrmly tighten the

drain knob.

Switch on the device - the full water indicator

should not be ashing anymore.

If you wish to operate the unit without the need to

empty the water tank (continuous drainage), please

follow these steps:

• Remove the drain knob and rubber plug and

retain for future use.

• Connect the drain tube supplied to the water

outlet as shown and locate the other end into a

drain.

• The drain tube may be extended by adding an

extension tube and using a suitable connector.

Note:

• The drain must be at or below the outlet level.

• The FULL WATER indicator will be disabled in this

mode of drainage.

WiFi mode

Press and hold the button for 5 seconds to

activate the WiFi mode. The indicator will ash and

start searching for devices to pair. Once connected,

the will turn solid.

WiFi and APP operation

Scan below QR code to download the Duux APP or

search DUUX APP in the App Store or Google Play

Store. Once installed, enter your e-mail address

and complete the registration.

Connect to WiFi

Once registered, click “add duux device” on the

main screen or use the “+” button in the top

right corner to add a new device.,

Search for “Blizzard” and press to continue

Connect to your preferred WiFi network and

enter the corresponding password

Follow the instructions in the app to complete

the pairing process.

Note: if you experience any problems with

connecting or using the app, please refer to the

FAQ in the app menu.

6. FAQ Disposal

The airconditioner does not turn on. What

should I do?

- Please check if the air conditioner is

plugged in

- Please check for a possible power failure

- Please check if the WATER FULL indicator is

blinking. If so, empty the water tank.

- Please check if the room temperature is below

the set temperature. In that case, the device

will not cool.

The device seems to have little eect.

What is wrong or how can I improve this?

- Please check if direct sunlight is entering the

room. Close all curtain to keep the warmth

outside.

- Close doors and windows

- Many people in the room rises the room

temperature which makes it harder to reach

the desired temperature

- Please check if there is something is the

room that could produce a lot of heat (e.g.

microwave)

- Please check if the air intake or output are

blocked

- Please check if the room temperature is below

the set temperature. In that case, the device

will not cool.

The unit makes a lot of noise. What is

wrong?

Please check if the device is on a stable surface

and not positioned unevenly. This could cause

the compressor to make loud noise.

The compressor doesn’t work. What is

wrong?

It could be possible that the overheat

protection of the compressor is on. Wait a few

minutes for the temperature to drop.

I see an error code. What does it mean?

See below table with error codes and their

explanations. In all cases, please contact your

point of sale of local service point for repair.

The European directive 2012 / 19 / CE on Waste

Electrical and Electronic Equipment (WEEE),

requires that old household electrical appliances

must not be disposed in the normal unsorted

municipal waste stream. Old appliances must

be collected separately in order to optimize the

recovery and recycling of the materials they

contain and reduce the impact on human health

and the environment. The crossed out “wheeled

bin” symbol on the product reminds you of your

obligation, that when you dispose of the appliance

it must be separately collected. Consumers

should contact their local authority or retailer for

information concerning the correct disposal of

their old appliance.

How can I extend the lifespan of the

compressor?

To extend the lifespan of the compressor, wait

at least 3 minutes after switching o the device

before switching it on again.

Why doesn’t the device switch o when

the set temperature has been reached?

The cooling system switches o when the

ambient temperature is lower than the

set temperature. However, the ventilation

continues to operate according to the set

value. If the ambient temperature rises above

the selected value, cooling becomes active

again.

Lezen vóór installatie:

• Dit apparaat is gevuld met propaangas R290. Volg

de instructie van de fabrikant met betrekking tot

gebruik en reparaties strikt op.

• Lees eerst de hele handleiding aandachtig door

voordat u het apparaat gaat gebruiken.

• Installeer, bedien of bewaar het apparaat niet

in een ruimte kleiner dan 7m² (DXMA04) / 10m²

• Zet het apparaat altijd rechtop op een vlak opper-

vlak (zelfs tijdens transport) en op ten minste 50

cm afstand van eventuele voorwerpen.

• Gebruik het apparaat niet in explosiegevaarlij-

ke omgevingen met ontvlambare vloeistoen,

gassen of stof.

• Gebruik het apparaat niet in de buurt van ont-

vlambare of explosieve (brand)stoen. Gebruik

geen verf, reinigingssprays, anti-insectsprays of

soortgelijke middelen vlak bij het apparaat; dit

kan het plastic vervormen of elektrische schade

veroorzaken.

• Zorg ervoor dat de afstand tussen de zijkanten

van het apparaat en eventuele ontvlambare

verwarmingsbrandstoen ten minste 50 cm

bedraagt.

• Plaats geen objecten op het apparaat en houd de

luchtinlaat/-uitlaat vrij.

• Laat het apparaat niet in contact komen met

De Blizzard is een mobiele airco die van de ene

stekker uit het stopcontact en laat het apparaat

nakijken voordat u het weer in gebruik neemt.

• Indien het meegeleverde netsnoer beschadigd

is, moet dit door een elektricien of gekwaliceerd

persoon worden vervangen om gevaarlijke situa-

ties te voorkomen.

• De voedingsspanning dient overeen te komen

met de specicatie op het typeplaatje aan de

achterzijde van het apparaat.

• Het apparaat moet overeenkomstig nationale

bedradingsvoorschriften worden geïnstalleerd.

• Zet het apparaat niet in een ruimte die groter is

dan aanbevolen voor maximale eciëntie.

• Sluit deuren en ramen voor optimale eciëntie.

• Houd gordijnen of jaloezieën dicht op de zonnig-

• Houd de lters schoon.

• Pas de instellingen voor temperatuur en ventilatie

aan wanneer de gewenste waardes zijn bereikt.

• Schakel het apparaat niet in als u merkt dat het

apparaat, de kabel of de stekker beschadigd is of

als het apparaat niet correct werkt of een ander

defect vertoont. Breng het complete apparaat

naar het verkooppunt of naar een gecerticeerde

elektricien voor inspectie en/of reparatie. Vraag

altijd om originele onderdelen. Het apparaat (incl.

snoer en stekker) mag uitsluitend worden geo-

pend en/of gerepareerd door daartoe bevoegde

of gekwaliceerde personen.

• Alleen erkende professionals mogen het apparaat

demonteren of aanpassen.

• Dit apparaat mag uitsluitend voor het bestemde

doel worden gebruikt. Enig ander gebruik wordt

gezien als oneigenlijk gebruik. De gebruiker/be-

diener en niet de fabrikant is aansprakelijk voor

eventuele schade of letsel als gevolg hiervan.

zorgvuldig

• Dit apparaat bevat het koelmiddel R290.

R290 is een koudemiddel dat voldoet aan de

relevante Europese richtlijnen. Perforeer het

koudemiddelcircuit nooit. R290 is ontvlambaar

(GWP3)!

• Gebruik geen andere middelen om het ontdooi

proces te versnellen of te reinigen dan die welke

door de fabrikant worden aanbevolen.

• Het apparaat moet worden opgeslagen

in een ruimte zonder continu werkende

ontstekingsbronnen (bijvoorbeeld: open

vuur, een werkend gastoestel of een werkend

elektrisch verwarmingselement).

• Doorboor of verbrand geen van de onderdelen

van het koelcircuit van het apparaat. Zet geen

licht op het apparaat.

• Het apparaat moet zo worden opgeslagen dat er

geen mechanische schade kan ontstaan.

• Koelmiddelen kunnen geen geur bevatten,

hierdoor kunt u signalen van een lekkage ruiken.

• De nationale gas voorschriften moeten worden

nageleefd.

• Houd de ventilatieopeningen vrij van

verstoppingen.

• Elke persoon die betrokken is bij het werken aan

of inbreken in een koelmiddel circuit moet in

het bezit zijn van een actueel geldig certicaat

van een door de industrie erkende instantie, die

hiervoor bevoegd is.

Montage van de uitlaatslang

Gebruik uitsluitend de meegeleverde slang en

breng deze aan de achterzijde van de airco aan.

• Voorkom dat de uitlaatslang verdraaid of geknikt

is, aangezien dit tot een ophoping van vochtige

lucht leidt, wat oververhitting en uitschakeling van

het apparaat kan veroorzaken. De afbeeldingen

onder tonen de correcte positie.

• De slang kan van 300 mm tot 1500 mm worden

verlengd; voor maximale eciëntie moet u de

slang echter zo kort mogelijk houden.

Waarschuwing! De lengte van de uitlaatslang

is speciek afgestemd op de specicaties van dit

apparaat. Vervang de slang niet door of verleng

deze niet met een eigen slang, aangezien dit tot een

storing van het apparaat kan leiden.

Installatie van het

actieve-koollter

Verwijder voorzichtig het bovenste rooster aan

de achterzijde van de airco.

Verwijder het lter van het apparaat.

Haal het actieve-koollter uit de plastic

verpakking.

Plaats het actieve-koollter aan de achterzijde

van het apparaat.

Installeer het lter in het apparaat.

Plaats het rooster terug in de airco.

Verwijder het deksel.

Plaats de batterij volgens de instructies op het

deksel met de juiste polariteit.

Sluit het deksel.

Opmerking:

• Gebruik slechts één CR2032 3V-batterij.

• Niet-oplaadbare batterijen dienen niet te worden

opgeladen.

• Lege batterijen dienen uit de afstandsbediening te

worden gehaald en op een veilige manier te worden

afgevoerd.

• Indien de afstandsbediening voor langere tijd

ongebruikt wordt opgeborgen, dient de batterij te

worden verwijderd.

• Er mag geen kortsluiting aan de aansluitblokken

worden veroorzaakt.

Let op! Wanneer de buitentemperatuur een

langere periode warm is zal deze warmte ook in

huis merkbaar zijn. Meubels, beddengoed, gordijn,

tapijten en dergelijke houden ink wat warmte vast.

De airco heeft daardoor mogelijk langer tijd

nodig de ruimte te verkoelen.

Tips en aanbevelingen

Trek altijd de stekker van de airco uit het

stopcontact voordat u het apparaat schoonmaakt.

Maak het apparaat regelmatig schoon voor

maximale eciëntie.

De behuizing schoonmaken

Gebruik een zachte, vochtige doek om de

behuizing schoon te vegen.

Gebruik nooit agressieve chemicaliën, benzine,

reinigingsmiddelen, chemisch behandelde doeken

of andere reinigingsoplossingen. Deze kunnen het

behuizingsmateriaal beschadigen.

Het lter schoonmaken

Gebruik een stofzuiger of tik zachtjes op het lter

om stof en vuil te verwijderen en spoel de lters

vervolgens grondig onder stromend water (max.

40 °C). Laat de lters goed drogen voordat u ze

terugplaatst.

3. Onderhoud

Langdurige opslag

• Laat al het water uit het apparaat weglopen.

• Schakel daarna enkele uren de ventilatiemodus

in om de binnenkant van de airco goed droog te

maken.

• Maak het lter schoon of vervang dit.

• Trek de stekker uit het stopcontact en berg het

netsnoer op.

• Dek het apparaat af met een zak of doe het in

een dichte kartonnen doos.

• Bewaar het apparaat niet in een ruimte kleiner

dan 7m² (DXMA04) / 10m² (DXMA05). Dit heeft

te maken met het propaangas wat zich in de

airco bevind. Wanneer deze in een te kleine

ruimte wordt opgeslagen kan dit explosiegevaar

veroorzaken.

Let op: Gebruik het apparaat niet zonder

de lters.

Neem voor het verkrijgen van het hoogste

rendement van de airconditioner de volgende

aanbevelingen in acht:

• Sluit ramen en deuren van de te conditioneren

ruimte. De enige uitzondering is de installatie

via een gat in de wand. In dat geval wordt

het aanbevolen een deur of raam op een

kier te zetten, zodat de luchtverversing wordt

gewaarborgd.

• Gebruik het apparaat niet in ruimten met een

hoge vochtigheidsgraad (bijv. wasserij).

• Bescherm de kamer tegen direct zonlicht door

de gordijnen dicht te trekken en/of de luxaex

gedeeltelijk te sluiten, zodat een zeer zuinige

werking wordt verkregen (afb. 21).

• Gebruik het apparaat niet buiten.

• Zorg ervoor dat er in de ruimte geen

warmtebronnen zijn.

• Controleer dat de airconditioner is geplaatst op

een vlakke vloer.

• Plaats geen voorwerpen op de airconditioner

• Belemmer de luchtinlaatopeningen niet

Tip: reinig het lter elke 2 weken.

Een schone lter bevorderd de werking van

de airco! Je kunt het lter met een droge doek of

voorzichtig met de stofzuiger ontzien van

stofdeeltjes.

Let op: Gebruik de airco nooit zonder lter.

Hierdoor komen er stofdeeltjes op de ribben

terecht welke je later niet meer kunt verwijderen.

Aan-uitknop

Druk op de aan-uitknop en het apparaat start.

Als de omgevingstemperatuur:

• hoger dan 22 °C is, werkt het apparaat in de

koelmodus.

• hoger dan 20 °C, maar lager dan of gelijk

aan 22 °C is, werkt het apparaat in de

ventilatiemodus.

Er worden tegelijkertijd indicators van de

actieve functies weergegeven.

Opmerking: Het scherm toont de

omgevingstemperatuur (0 °C tot 50 °C)..

Druk nogmaals op de aan-uitknop om het

apparaat uit te schakelen.

De modus kiezen

Druk op de MODUS-knop om de gewenste modus

te kiezen: automatisch, koelen, ventilatie of

ontvochtiging. De indicator van de gekozen modus

gaat branden.

Koelmodus

Wanneer de airco in de koelmodus staat verkoeld

deze de ruimte. De compressor wordt hierbij

ingeschakeld. Wanneer de airco de gewenste

temperatuur heeft bereikt zal deze overgaan op de

ventilatie stand.

Ventilatiemodus

In ventilatiemodus zal de airco enkel ventileren.

Hij verplaatst hierbij de lucht in de ruimte wat een

verkoelend eect heeft. De compressor zal in deze

modus niet inschakelen.

Automatische modus

Als de modus AUTO actief is, wordt de

ventilatiesnelheid automatisch gekozen op basis

van de omgevingstemperatuur (de relevante

indicator gaat branden). In de AUTO modus is de

SNELHEID-knop vergrendeld. In de auto modus:

boven 24 graden gaat hij koelen. Daaronder gaat

de compressor uit maar gaat de ventilator draaien.

De temperatuur instellen

Druk op de knop ‘Temperatuur hoger’

of ‘Temperatuur lager’ om de gewenste

temperatuur in te stellen.

Het scherm toont de temperatuur terwijl u op

de knop ‘Temperatuur hoger’ of ‘Temperatuur

lager’ drukt. In de Stand-by modus wordt altijd

de omgevingstemperatuur weergegeven.

De fabrieksinstellingen van dit apparaat is 24

°C voor koelen.

De ventilatiesnelheid aanpassen

Druk op de SNELHEID-knop om de gewenste

ventilatiesnelheid te kiezen: hoog, gemiddeld of laag.

De indicator voor hoge, gemiddelde, of lage ventilatie

gaat branden.

Legen

Tijdens het koelproces condenseert het water uit

de lucht gedeeltelijk in het apparaat. Als de tank vol

is, schakelen zowel de compressor als de motor uit

en gaan beide zoemen (druk op een willekeurige

knop om dit uit te schakelen). De indicator TANK

VOL gaat vervolgens knipperen.

In dat geval moet u de tank als volgt legen:

Schakel de airco uit en beweeg deze niet als de

watertank vol is.

Plaats een opvangbak (bijvoorbeeld een

waterbak) onder de afvoeropening.

Verwijder de afvoerknop en rubber stop uit

de afvoeropening en laat het water uit de tank

lopen.

Als de bak bijna vol is, dicht de afvoeropening

dan af met de rubber stop en leeg de

opvangbak.

Herhaal deze stappen tot al het water uit het

apparaat is verwijderd.

Plaats de rubber stop terug en draai de

afvoerknop stevig vast.

Schakel het apparaat in - de indicator TANK

VOL zou niet meer moeten knipperen.

Als u het apparaat wilt gebruiken zonder de

watertank te hoeven legen (continue afvoer), moet

u de onderstaande stappen volgen:

• Verwijder de afvoerknop en rubber stop en

bewaar deze voor toekomstig gebruik.

• Sluit de meegeleverde afvoerslang aan op de

wateruitlaat (zie afbeelding) en doe het andere

eind in een afvoer.

• De afvoerslang kan worden verlengd met behulp

van een verlengslang en een geschikt koppelstuk.

Let op:

• De afvoer moet zich op de hoogte van of onder de

afvoeropening bevinden.

• De indicator TANK VOL is uitgeschakeld bij deze

manier van waterafvoer.

Opmerking: In de nachtstand dimt het scherm

na een aantal seconden automatisch. Druk op een

willekeurige toets om het bedieningspaneel weer te

activeren.

Zelfdiagnose

Dit apparaat is uitgerust met zelfdiagnosesoftware.

Als het apparaat niet werkt, toont het LCD-scherm

“E1” of “E2”. Als dit gebeurt, neem dan contact op

met het verkooppunt.

Alle bovengenoemde functies kunnen ook met

de meegeleverde afstandsbediening worden

uitgevoerd. Voor deze afstandsbediening is een

celbatterij (CR2032) vereist.

Opmerking:

• Voor een langere levensduur van de compressor

moet u na het uitschakelen van het apparaat ten

minste 3 minuten wachten voordat u het opnieuw

inschakelt.

• Het koelsysteem schakelt uit als de

omgevingstemperatuur lager is dan de

ingestelde temperatuur. De ventilatie blijft

echter werken volgens de ingestelde waarde. Als

de omgevingstemperatuur stijgt tot boven de

geselecteerde waarde, wordt koeling weer actief.

De timer instellen

Door op de TIMER-knop te drukken zonder

de andere functies te gebruiken, kunt u

een startvertraging activeren. Als u de timer

bijvoorbeeld op ‘2’ zet, start het apparaat

automatisch na 2 uur.

Druk op de TIMER-knop om een time-out in

te stellen (1 tot 24 uur, de timerindicator gaat

branden). Als de ingestelde tijd is bereikt,

schakelt het apparaat automatisch uit. Het

LCD-scherm toont het uur/de uren die u instelt

terwijl u op de TIMER-knop drukt.

Nachtmodus

Als u in de koelmodus de knop NACHT-modus

indrukt, stijgt de ingestelde temperatuur met

1 °C na één uur en met nog eens 1 °C na twee

uur. Daarna blijft de temperatuur op dit niveau.

In de NACHT-modus blijft de ventilatiesnelheid

laag. Door nogmaals op de knop NACHT-

modus te drukken, worden de eerdere

temperatuurwaarde en ventilatiesnelheid weer

geactiveerd.

Het apparaat schakelt automatisch uit wanneer

de NACHT-modus meer dan 12 uur actief is.

Let op: de nachtmodus is niet beschikbaar

terwijl het apparaat werkt in de AUTO-modus,

Ventilator (ventilatie) of Ontvochtiging.

Wi-modus

Houd de knop vijf seconden ingedrukt om te

wi-modus te activeren. De indicator knippert en

gaat op zoek naar apparaten om mee te verbinden.

Eenmaal verbonden, blijft de knop branden.

Bediening van wi en app

Scan de onderstaande QR-code om de Duux-app

te downloaden of zoek de Duux-app in de App

Store of Google Play Store. Voer na de installatie je

e-mailadres in en rond de registratie af.

Verbinden met wi

Klik na de registratie op ‘add duux device’

op het hoofdscherm of gebruik de knop ‘+’

rechtsboven om een nieuw apparaat toe te

voegen.

Zoek naar ‘Blizzard’ en klik hierop om door te

gaan.

Maak verbinding met het gewenste wi-

netwerk en voer het bijbehorende wachtwoord

in.

Volg de instructies in de app om de

verbindingsprocedure te voltooien.
