Charging with the solar panel
CAUTION
► Ensure that the ambient temperature does not exceed 35°C. This is particu-
larly important when using the device inside a motor vehicle.
You can charge the battery of the power bank with the solar panel
.
Ensure that the solar panel
is receiving sufficient sunlight. As soon as there is
sufficient sunlight, the solar LED
lights up orange to show that the battery is
being charged. If the solar LED
does not light up, there is not enough sunlight
available. In this case, change the location of the device or place the device in
direct sunlight. Once the solar LED
lights up green, the battery is fully charged.
Charging with the charger cable
If there is no sunlight available, you can charge the power bank battery with the
charger cable
.
CAUTION!
► Charge the device only in dry interior rooms as the device is not adequately
protected against water spray when the protective cover
is removed.
► Due to the high current consumption, the power bank must be charged using
a USB mains adapter (not supplied). Do not charge the power bank via the
USB port of a PC or notebook.
► Use only a USB mains adapter with an output voltage of 5 V and an output
current of at least 2.1 A to charge the power bank.
► Use only the supplied charger cable
to charge the power bank!
► Always disconnect the charger cable
when charging is complete and
replace the protective cover
.
♦ Open the protective cover
and connect the micro-USB plug of the charger
cable to the device’s micro-USB port .
♦ Connect the USB plug of the charger cable
to the USB connection of a
USB mains adapter.
