A. Safety recommendations
Please read through the instruction before using this appliance and keep this instruction manual in a safe
place.
Safety tips when connecting the appliance
• This appliance is for household only.
• Do not use this appliance for anything other than intended use.
• Do not use this appliance outdoor.
• The use of adaptors, multiple sockets and/or extension cable is not recommended. If it is
indispensable to use those elements be careful to respect the limit power.
• Check if the voltage indicated on the base of the appliance corresponds to the local mains voltage
before you connect the appliance.
• After removing the packaging, check that the appliance is in good condition. In doubt contact the
nearest Technical Support Service.
• The electric security of the appliance is only guaranteed if the installation respects current norms. In
doubt contact a qualified professional.
• In the event of incompatibility between the mains socket and the appliance plug, the socket should
be replaced by the manufacturer, its after sale service or a qualified professional in order to avoid
any danger.
• If the power cord of the appliance is damaged, it must be replaced by the manufacturer, its service
agent or similar qualified technician.
• Do not use the appliance if its power cord, plug, blade or other part is damaged. In the event of any
damage to the power cord or blade of this product, it can only be replaced with a special one for use
with this product. For the purpose of replacement, contact the distributor of this product.
Safety when using the appliance
• Do not leave the appliance exposed to the weather (rain, sun, etc…).
• Place the appliance on a flat, firm and dry surface. Do not put this appliance on a carpet, table cloth
or thin paper because this may block the air entry or air vent and thus influence heat dissipation from
cavity.
• During operation, the induction cooker should be placed horizontally, at least 10 cm away from all
sides of the wall, curtains…
• Don't let cord hang over edge of table or counter, do not let cord contact hot surface, including the
stove.
• Before positioning a pot, please clear water mark/greasy dirt or other substance attaching the pot
surface and ceramic panel.
• Never use the induction cooker in high temperature environments such as near gas stove or kerosene
stove.
• Keep out of the reach of children the appliance and elements of package (plastic bags,
polystyrene…).
• Never heat the iron piece on the ceramic plate so as to avoid any danger due to high temperature.
• Never place the induction cooker on an iron plate or iron table during use.
• During heating, never put paper, aluminium foil, cloth or thin paper or other unrelated object on the
ceramic panel for indirect heating to avoid any danger.
• For sealed food such as canned goods, do not heat them before opening the cover so as to avoid any
danger of explosion due to heating expansion.
• Metallic objects such as knives, forks, spoons and lids should not be placed on the hotplate since they
can get hot.
• Never place on the induction cooker utensil without food inside. It may affect its performance and
cause danger.
• This appliance should not be used by physically, sensorial or mentally handicapped people or people
without experience or knowledge of it (including children), unless they are supervised or instructed in
the use of the appliance by a person responsible for their safety.
• If the surface is cracked, switch off the appliance to avoid the possibility of electric shock.
