A . Safety recommendations
• Use the cooker in correct temperature and humidity.
• Do not touch the surface after using as it is still hot.
• Please use pots and containers with smooth bottom, if not, the temperature will
not be high enough and may lead to malfunctioning. Do not use pots and
containers made of aluminium, copper or non metal.
• With sluggish heat conduction, empty pots and containers will be destroyed or
deformed even if this cooker has a function to protect against it.
• If the supply cord is damaged, it must be replaced by the manufacturer, its
service agent or similarly qualified persons in order to avoid a hazard.
• If the appliance functions abnormally, unplug and contact our designated service
centre.
• The appliances are not intended to be operated by means of an external timer or
separate remote-control system.
• If the surface cracks, switch off the appliance to avoid the possibility of electric
shock.
• Metallic objects such as knives, forks, spoons and lids should not be placed on the
hotplate as they readily become hot.
• This appliance is not intended for use by persons (including children) with
reduced physical, sensory or mental capabilities, or lack of experience and
knowledge, unless they have been given supervision or instruction concerning use
of the appliance by a person responsible for their safety.
• Children should be supervised to ensure that they do not play with the appliance.
B . Use recommendations
We have designed this hob for private use in homes.
In order to constantly improve our products, we reserve the right to make any changes to their
technical, program or aesthetic features connected with their technical evolution.
These hobs are exclusively designed for cooking drinks and foodstuffs and contain no asbestos-based
components.
We suggest that you should periodically check that there are no objects (glass, paper, etc.) that could
obstruct the air inlet under your induction hob (See fitting).
• Do not immerse your appliance in water
• Do not clean it under the tap
• Do not clean it in the dishwasher
• Do not use a steam cleaner to clean
• For the attention of wearers of pacemakers or other active implants:
The hob complies with all current standards on electromagnetic interference.
Your induction cooker is therefore perfectly in line with legal requirements (89/336/CEE directives). It
should not create interference with any other electrical apparatus is use, on condition that the
apparatus in question also complies with this legislation.
Your induction cooker generates short-range magnetic fields.
To avoid any interference between your induction hob and a pacemaker, the latter must be designed
to comply with relevant regulations.
In this respect, we can only guarantee our own product conformity. Please consult the pacemaker
manufacturer or your doctor concerning its conformity or any possible incompatibility.
