Important Safety Information
READ AND FOLLOW ALL SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS
1. Read all instructions before using the appliance.
2. Read and follow the speci c “PRECAUTIONS TO
AVOID POSSIBLE EXPOSURE TO EXCESSIVE MI-
CROWAVE ENERGY” on page 5.
3. This appliance must be grounded. Connect only to
properly grounded outlet. See “GROUNDING INSTRUC-
TIONS” on page 4.
4. Install or locate this appliance only in accordance with
the provided installation instructions.
5. Some products such as whole eggs and sealed con-
tainers -for example, closed glass jars could explode and
should not be heated in this oven.
6. Use this appliance only for its intended use as de-
scribed in this manual. Do not use corrosive chemicals or
vapors in this appliance. This type of oven is speci cally
designed to heat, cook, or dry food. It is not designed for
industrial or laboratory use.
7. As with any appliance, close supervision is necessary
when used by children.
8. To reduce the risk of re in the oven cavity:
a. Do not overcook food. Carefully attend appliance
when paper, plastic, or other combustible materials
are placed inside the oven to facilitate cooking.
b. Remove wire twist-ties from paper or plastic bags
before placing bag in oven.
c. If materials inside the oven should ignite, keep
oven door closed, turn oven off, and disconnect the
power cord or shut off power at the fuse or circuit
breaker panel.
d. Do not use the cavity for storage purposes. Do not
leave paper products, cooking utensils or food in the
cavity when not in use.
9. Liquids, such as water, coffee, or tea are able to be
overheated beyond the boiling point without appearing
to be boiling due to surface tension of the liquid. Visible
bubbling or boiling when the container is removed from
the microwave oven is not always present. THIS COULD
RESULT IN VERY HOT LIQUIDS SUDDENLY BOILING
OVER WHEN A SPOON OR OTHER UTENSIL IS IN-
SERTED INTO THE LIQUID. To reduce the risk of injury
to person:
a .Do not overheat the liquid.
b. Stir the liquid both before and halfway through
heating it.
c. Do not use straight-sided containers with narrow
necks.
d. After heating, allow the container to stand in the
microwave oven for short time before removing the
container.
e. Use extreme care when inserting a spoon or other
utensil into the container.
10. Do not heat oil or fat for deep-frying. It is dif cult to
control the temperature of oil in microwave oven.
11. Pierce foods with heavy skins such as potatoes,
whole squash, apples and chestnuts before cooking.
12. The contents of feeding bottles and baby jars should
be stirred or shaken and the temperature should be
checked before serving in order to avoid burns.
13. Cooking utensils may become hot because of heat
transferred from the heated food. Oven mitts may be
needed to handle the utensil.
14. Do not cover or block any openings on the appli-
ance.
15. Do not store or use this appliance outdoors. Do not
use this product near water, for example, near a kitchen
sink, in a wet basement, near a swimming pool, or simi-
lar locations.
16. Do not operate this appliance if it has a damaged
cord or a plug, if it is not working properly or if it has
been damaged or dropped.
17. Do not immerse cord or plug in water. Keep cord
away from heated surface. Do not let cord hang over the
edge of a table or counter.

Touching some of the internal components can cause
serious injury or death. DO NOT disassemble this appliance.

Improper grounding can result in electric shock. Do not plug
unit into an outlet until the appliance is properly grounded.
WARNING: ELECTRIC SHOCK HAZARD
This appliance must be grounded. In the event of an electrical short circuit, grounding reduces the risk of electric shock by
providing an escape wire for the electric current. This appliance comes with a cord that is equipped with a grounding wire
and grounding plug. The plug must be plugged into an outlet that is properly installed and grounded.
Consult a quali ed electrician or serviceman if the grounding instructions are not completely understood or if doubt exists
as to whether the appliance is properly grounded. If it is necessary to use an extension cord, use only a 3-wire extension
cord that has a 3-pronged grounding plug, and a 3-slot receptacle that will accept the plug on the appliance. The marked
rating of the extension cord shall be equal to or greater than the electrical rating of the appliance.
A short power-supply cord is provided to reduce the risks resulting from becoming entangled in or tripping over a longer
cord.
Longer cord sets or extension cords are available and may be used if care is exercised in their use.
If a long cord set or extension cord is used:
1) The marked electrical rating of the cord set or extension cord should be at least as great as the electrical rating of the
appliance
2) The extension cord must be a grounding type 3 wire cord, and;
3) The cord should be arranged so that it will not drape over the countertop or tabletop where it could be pulled on by

Operation of the microwave oven may cause interference to your radio, TV or similar equipment.
When there is interference, it can be reduced or eliminated by taking the following action:
1) Clean door and sealing surface of oven
2) Reposition the receiving antenna of the radio or television
3) Relocate the microwave oven with respect to the receiver
4) Move the microwave oven away from the receiver
5. Plug the microwave oven into a different outlet so that microwave oven and receiver are on different branch circuits

PRECAUTIONS TO AVOID POSSIBLE EXPOSURE TO
EXCESSIVE MICROWAVE ENERGY
1) Do not attempt to operate this oven with the door open since this can result in harmful exposure to microwave energy.
It is important not to damage or tamper with the safety locks.
2) Do not place any object between the oven front face and the door, or allow soil or cleaning residue to accumulate on
sealing surfaces.
3) Do not operate the oven if it is damaged. It is particularly important that the door closes properly and there is no
damage to the:
(A) door (bent,)
(B) hinges and latches (broken or loose,)
(C)door seals and sealing surface.
4) The oven should not be adjusted or repaired by anyone except quali ed service personnel.
PERMISSIBLE MATERIALS
CAUTION: PERSONAL INJURY HAZARD
Tightly-closed containers could explode. Closed containers
should be opened and plastic pouches should be pierced
before cooking.
This section lists which utensils can be used in the microwave, which ones have limited use for short periods, and which
ones should not be used in the microwave.
RECOMMENDED
Microwave browning dish — Use to brown the exterior of small items such as steaks, chops, or pancakes. Follow the
directions provided with your browning dish.
Microwaveable plastic wrap — Use to retain steam. Leave a small opening for some steam to escape and avoid placing
it directly on the food.
Paper towels and napkins — Use for short-term heating and covering; these absorb excess moisture and prevent spat-
tering. Do not use recycled paper towels, which may contain metal and could ignite.
Glass and glass-ceramic bowls and dishes — Use for heating or cooking.
Paper plates and cups — Use for short-term heating at low temperatures. Do not use recycled paper, which may contain
metal and could ignite.
Wax paper — Use as a cover to prevent spattering.
Thermometers — Use only those labeled “Microwave Safe” and follow all directions. Check the food in several places.
Conventional thermometers may be used on microwave food once the food has been removed from the oven.
LIMITED USE
Aluminum foil — Use narrow strips of foil to prevent overcooking of exposed areas. Using too much foil can damage
your oven, so be careful. You should keep distance of 1 inch (2.54cm) between aluminum foil and cavity.
Ceramic, porcelain, and stoneware— Use these if they are labeled “Microwave Safe”. If they are not labeled, test them
to make sure they can be used safely.
Plastic — Use only if labeled “Microwave Safe”. Other plastics can melt.

Installation Guide
1. Make sure that all the packing materials are removed from the inside of the door or on cabinet surface. Do not remove
the light brown mica sheet that is attached to the oven cavity to protect the magnetron.
2. Check the oven for any damage, such as a misaligned or bent door, damaged door seals and sealing surface, broken
or loose door hinges and latches and dents inside the cavity or on the door. If there is any damage, do not operate the
oven but contact quali ed service personnel
3. This microwave oven must be placed on a at, stable surface to hold its weight and the heaviest food likely to be
cooked in the oven.
4. Do not place the oven where heat, moisture, or high humidity are generated, or near combustible materials.
5. For correct operation, the oven must have suf cient air ow. Allow 30cm of space above the oven, 7.5cm at back and
7.5cm at both sides (see diagram.) Do not cover or block any openings on the appliance. Do not remove feet on which
oven stands.
6. Do not operate the oven without glass tray, roller support, and shaft in their proper positions.
7. Make sure that the power supply cord is undamaged and does not run under the oven or over any hot or sharp surface.
8. The socket must be readily accessible so that it can be easily unplugged in an emergency. The socket must have the
same voltage and frequency as the rating label of the appliance.
9. Place the microwave oven away from radios and tvs to avoid interference.

NOT RECOMMENDED
Glass jars and bottles — Regular glass is too thin to be used in a microwave. It can shatter and cause damage and
injury.
Paper bags — These are a re hazard, except for popcorn bags that are designed for microwave use.
Styrofoam plates and cups — These can melt and leave an unhealthy residue on food.
Plastic storage and food containers — Containers such as margarine tubs can melt in the microwave.
Metal utensils — These can damage your oven. Remove all metal before cooking.
Note:
Should you wish to check if a dish is safe for microwaving, place the empty dish in the oven and microwave on HIGH for
30 seconds. A dish which becomes very hot should not be used.

SETTING THE
CLOCK
1. Touch CLOCK pad.
2. Use the number pads to enter the correct time.
Note: This is a 12 hour clock. Only numbers between the range of 1:00-12:59
can be set.
3. Touch CLOCK pad again.
NOTE:
When the oven is rst plugged in or when power resumes after a power inter-
ruption, the display will show ENTER CLOCK TIME. If you prefer not to have the
clock displayed, touch RESET.
When setting the clock, if the stop/cancel button is pressed or if there is no op-
eration after 1 minute, the oven will go back to its resting state automatically.
You can check the clock time during cooking by touching the CLOCK pad.
SIGNALS DURING OVEN SETTINGS
ONE SIGNAL: Oven accepts the entry.
TWO SIGNALS: Oven does not accept the entry. Check and try again.
SETTING THE

1. Touch TIMER.
2. Enter the amount of time by touching the number pads (the maximum time is
99 minutes 99 seconds.)
3. Touch START/+30SEC.
NOTE:
Time countdown can be seen in display for 5 seconds before clock or cooking
time is returned to display.
Touch TIMER and then touch RESET to cancel TIMER during timing process.
During timer operation, quick cook programs cannot be set. Time cannot be
increased by pressing START/+30SEC.

SETTING A COOKING
PROGRAM
A. One-stage Cooking
1. Use the number pads to set a cooking time. You can set a cooking time from
one second to 99 minutes and 99 seconds.
2. If you want to set a power level other than 100% power, touch POWER LEV-
EL, then use the number pads to enter the power level. You can set the power
level from 1 to 9.
3. Touch START/+30SEC to start cooking.
B. Two Stage Cooking:
Some recipes require different stages of cooking at different temperatures.
1. SET STAGE 1:
Follow steps 1 and 2 in “One-stage Cooking”. DO NOT TOUCH START/STOP
2. SET STAGE 2:
Touch COOK then enter proper cooking time and (lower) power level.
3. Touch START/STOP.
NOTE:
• During cooking, you can check the power by pressing POWER LEVEL pad.

EASYSET BUTTONS
Cooking at 100% power level in 1, 2, or 3 minute increments can be achieved
instantly by pressing the number pads 1, 2 or 3. Press Start/+30SEC to increase
cooking time by 30 seconds. Max cooking time is 99 minutes and 99 seconds.
To instantly start cooking at 100% power for 30 seconds, simply press the
Start/+30SEC button. Each time it is pressed will increase the cooking time by
30 seconds, up to 99 minutes and 99 seconds.
DEFROST WEIGHT
1. Touch DEFROST WEIGHT button.
2. Enter weight using number pad(the maximum weight you can enter is 6.3 lbs.)
3. Touch START/+30SEC pad.
NOTE:
• Weight must be in pounds and ounces. Ounce weights less than 10 must be
preceded by a 0. If label gives weight in pounds only, change the fraction of a
pound to ounces using the chart provided on the next page.
• You may need to turn food over during cooking, then press START/STOP to
resume.
DEFROST TIME
1. Touch DEFROST TIME.

AUTO MENU
To cook popular foods, (frozen pizza, sh, meat, fresh vegetables, frozen veg-
etables, potatoes, frozen entrees,) simply choose the correct button from the
auto menu options, insert the food in the microwave and press START/+30SEC.
There is no need to set time or power.
The sensor will sound twice when steam is detected, and will display time re-
maining. The buzzer will sound 5 times when cooking is done.
For best results:
1) Room temperature cannot be higher than 35 degrees Fahrenheit.
2) The food must weigh more than 110g/4oz.
3) The cavity and glass tray and food containers must be dry upon
entry.
4) The door must kept closed until after the sensor sounds twice. Do
not open the oven door or press STOP/CANCEL until after the sen-
sor beeps, otherwise the sensor will err. After it sounds twice and the
display begins to count down you may open the door to stir the food
and then resume operation.
Be careful when removing the film cover after cooking.
Remove Facing away from you to avoid steam burns.
If additional time is needed, continue to cook manually.
Cover the film before cooking and leave a spacing near
the edge of the container in order to let the steam out.
When buzzer sound twice, cooking time counts down.
Press "STOP" to pause and open the oven door to mix.
If the weight is over 12 OZ,please set the additional
cooking time manually.
Arrange in a single layer. Cover with lid or vented plastic
wrap.Cover the film before cooking and leave a spacing
near the edge of the container in order to let the steam
out. When cooking time counts down, press "STOP" to
pause and open the oven door to turn over and then
continue to cook.
Wash thoroughly, add 15ml water per 125g vegetables,
and cover with a lid or vented plastic wrap.
Do not salt/butter vegetables until after cooking.
All pieces should be the same size. Wash thoroughly,

turntable. Do not cover. If additional time is needed,
continue to cook manually. Please let stand for 5 minutes
in the oven after finishing to avoid burning.

SENSOR REHEAT
1) Press SENSOR REHEAT and place food into the oven. ‘SC-1’ will display.
2) Press START/+30SEC to start the sensor reheat function, there is no need to
set a time.
3) The sensor will sound twice when it senses steam. The remaining cook time
will be displayed, and the unit will sound 5 times when cooking is done.
The oven cannot sensor reheat when the temperature of the oven cavity is
already high.
Food to be reheated must be have a vented cover.
Use microwave safe platters only.
During sensor reheat, please do not open the door or press the STOP/CANCEL
button.
Food to avoid in sensor reheat mode:
Bread and other dry foods like biscuits, pastry.
Raw or uncooked foods
Beverages and frozen foods
FAVORITE
This microwave oven is capable of remembering up to 3 favorite settings. To set
a favorite power level and time setting:
1) Press FAVORITE once to set favorite setting one, twice to set favorite setting
two, and three times to set favorite setting 3.
2) Press COOK TIME, then enter cooking time using number pad.
3) Press POWER LEVEL, press number corresponding with desired power level
4) Press FAVORITE to save the setting.
5) To run the favorite program, press FAVORITE the number of times that cor-
responds with the favorite setting number (once for favorite setting one, twice for
favorite setting two etc.) then press START/+30SEC.
Note: The auto menu functions cannot be saved as favorites.
SETTING INQUIRY
While the oven is cooking, you may press CLOCK to display the time for three
seconds before the display returns to the cooking time.
While the oven is cooking, you may press POWER LEVEL to display the current
power level. After three seconds, the display will return to the cooking time.
SETTING
CHILD LOCK
The safety lock prevents unsupervised operation by children.
To set, press and hold STOP/CANCEL for 3 seconds. A long ‘beep’ will indicate
that the setting has been accepted.
To cancel, press and hold STOP/CANCEL for 3 seconds. A long ‘beep’ will indi-
cate that the setting has been accepted.

REMINDING FUNCTION
If the door isn’t opened after cooking has nished, the buzzer will sound 5 times
to remind the user that cooking has nished.
OTHER
1) In standby mode, if the current time is set, the : icon will ash, otherwise it
shows 0:00
2) When setting a function, the corresponding setting icon will display
3) When operating or paused, the microwave oven will display the remaining
cook time.
COOKING TECHNIQUES
Operating Instructions
Your microwave makes cooking easier than conventional cooking, provided you keep these considerations in mind:
STIRRING - Stir foods such as casseroles and vegetables while cooking to distribute heat evenly. Food at the outside
of the dish absorbs more energy and heats more quickly, so stir from the outside to the centre. The oven will turn off when
you open the door to stir your food.
ARRANGEMENT - Arrange unevenly shaped foods, such as chicken pieces or chops, with the thicker, meatier parts
toward the outside of the turntable where they receive more microwave energy. To prevent overcooking, place delicate
areas, such as asparagus tips, toward the centre of the turntable.
SHIELDING - Shield food with narrow strips of aluminum foil to prevent overcooking. Areas that need shielding include
poultry wing tips, the ends of poultry legs, and corners of square baking dishes. Use only small amounts of aluminum foil.
Larger amounts can damage your oven.
TURNING - Turn foods over midway through cooking to expose all parts to microwave energy. This is especially impor-
tant with large foods such as roasts.
STANDING - Foods cooked in the microwave build up internal heat and continue to cook for a few minutes after heating
stops. Let foods stand to complete cooking, especially foods such as cakes and whole vegetables. Roasts need this time
to complete cooking in the centre without overcooking the outer areas. All liquids, such as soup or hot chocolate, should
be shaken or stirred when cooking is complete. Let liquids stand a moment before serving. When heating baby food, stir
well at removal and test the temperature before serving.
ADDING MOISTURE - Microwave energy is attracted to water molecules. Food that is uneven in moisture content
should be covered or allowed to stand so that the heat disperses evenly. Add a small amount of water to dry food to help it
cook.
1) Turn off the oven and remove the power plug from the wall socket before cleaning.
2) Keep the inside of the oven clean. When food splatters or spilled liquids adhere to oven walls,wipe with a damp cloth.
Mild detergent may be used if the oven gets very dirty. Avoid the use of spray and other harsh cleaners as they may
stain, streak or dull the door surface.
3) The outside surfaces should be cleaned with a damp cloth. To prevent damage to the operating parts inside the oven,
water should not be allowed to seep into the ventilation openings.
4) Wipe the window on both sides with a damp cloth to remove any spills or spatters.
5) Do not allow the control panel to become wet. Clean with a soft, damp cloth. When cleaning the control panel, leave
oven door open to prevent oven from accidentally turning on.
6) If steam accumulates inside or around the outside of the oven door, wipe with a soft cloth. This may occur when the
microwave oven is operated under high humidity conditions; this is normal.
7) It is occasionally necessary to remove the glass tray for cleaning. Wash the tray in warm soapy water or in a
dishwasher.
8) The roller ring and oven oor should be cleaned regularly to avoid excessive noise. Simply wipe the bottom surface
of the oven with mild detergent. The roller ring may be washed in mild soapy water or dishwasher. When removing the
roller ring from cavity oor for cleaning, be sure to replace in the proper position.
9) Remove odors from your oven by combining a cup of water with the juice and skin of one lemon in a deep bowl, mi-
crowave for 5 minutes. Wipe thoroughly and dry with a soft cloth.
10) When it becomes necessary to replace the oven light, please consult a dealer to have it replaced.
11) When cleaning the surface of the door or oven, use only mild non abrasive soaps or detergents applied with a
sponge or soft cloth.
12. Please do not dispose of this appliance in a domestic trash bin; it should be disposed of at the appropriate disposal
centre provided by the municipalities.

This quality product is warranted to be free from manufacturer’s defects in material and workmanship, provided that the unit is used under the normal operating
conditions intended by the manufacturer.
This warranty is available only to the person to whom the unit was originally sold by Danby Products Limited (Canada) or Danby Products Inc. (U.S.A.) (hereafter
“Danby”) or by an authorized distributor of Danby, and is non-transferable.
TERMS OF WARRANTY
Plastic parts, are warranted for thirty (30) days only from purchase date, with no extensions provided.
First Year
During the first twelve (12) months, any functional parts of this product found to be defective, will be repaired or replaced, at warrantor’s
option, at no charge to the ORIGINAL purchaser.
To obtain
It will be the consumer’s responsibility to transport the appliance (at their own expense) to the original retailer (point of purchase) or a

service depot for repair. Contact your dealer from whom your unit was purchased, or contact your nearest authorized Danby service
depot, where service must be performed by a qualified service technician.

Save as herein provided, Danby, there are no other warranties, conditions, representations or guarantees, express or implied, made or intended by Danby or its
authorized distributors and all other warranties, conditions, representations or guarantees, including any warranties, conditions, representations or guarantees
under any Sale of Goods Act or like legislation or statue is hereby expressly excluded. Save as herein provided, Danby shall not be responsible for any damages
to persons or property, including the unit itself, howsoever caused or any consequential damages arising from the malfunction of the unit and by the purchase of
the unit, the purchaser does hereby agree to indemnify and hold harmless Danby from any claim for damages to persons or property caused by the unit.
GENERAL PROVISIONS
No warranty or insurance herein contained or set out shall apply when damage or repair is caused by any of the following:
1) Power failure.
2) Damage in transit or when moving the appliance.
3) Improper power supply such as low voltage, defective house wiring or inadequate fuses.
4) Accident, alteration, abuse or misuse of the appliance such as inadequate air circulation in the room or abnormal operating conditions
(extremely high or low room temperature).
5) Use for commercial or industrial purposes (ie. If the appliance is not installed in a domestic residence).
6) Fire, water damage, theft, war, riot, hostility, acts of God such as hurricanes, floods etc.

LISEZ ET RESPECTEZ TOUTES LES CONSIGNES RELATIVES À LA SÉCURITÉ
1. Lisez toutes ces instructions avant d’utiliser l’appareil.
2. Lisez la section « PRÉCAUTIONS À PRENDRE POUR
ÉVITER UNE EXPOSITION POSSIBLE À L’ÉNERGIE
EXCESSIVE DES MICRO-ONDES » à la page 5, puis
suivez les instructions.
3. Cet appareil doit être mis à la terre. Ne branchez cet
appareil que sur une prise correctement mise à la terre. Voir
« INSTRUCTIONS RELATIVES À LA MISE À LA TERRE »
à la page 4.
4. N’installez ou placez cet appareil que conformément aux
instructions d’installation fournies.
5. Certains produits, tels que les œufs entiers et les
récipients hermétiques, par exemple les bocaux en
verre fermés, pourraient exploser et ne doivent pas être
réchauffés dans ce four.
6. Utilisez cet appareil uniquement pour ce à quoi il est
destiné, tel qu’il est décrit dans le présent manuel. Ne
pas utiliser de produits chimiques corrosifs ou de vapeurs
corrosives dans cet appareil. Ce type de four est conçu
spécialement pour chauffer, cuire ou assécher de la
nourriture. Il n’est pas conçu pour une utilisation industrielle
ou en laboratoire.
7. Comme avec tout appareil, une supervision est
indispensable lorsqu’il est utilisé par un enfant.
8. A n de réduire le risque d’incendie dans la cavité du
four :
a. Ne pas faire cuire les aliments trop longtemps.
Surveillez minutieusement l’appareil lorsque du papier,
du plastique ou toute autre matière in ammable est
placée dans le four pour faciliter la cuisson.
b. Retirez les liens torsadés de l’emballage en papier ou
en plastique avant de placer le sac dans le four.
c. Si une matière dans le four prend feu, laissez la porte
du four fermée, éteignez le four et débranchez le cordon
d’alimentation ou coupez l’alimentation au fusible ou au
panneau de disjoncteurs.
d. Ne pas utiliser la cavité à des ns d’entreposage. Ne
laissez pas de produits en papier, d’ustensiles de cuisine ou
de nourriture dans la cavité du four lorsque celui-ci n’est pas
utilisé.

Les liquides, tels que l’eau, le café ou le thé peuvent
chauffer au-delà de leur point d’ébullition, sans qu’ils ne
bouillent, ceci étant dû à la tension super cielle du liquide.
Des bulles ou d’autres signes visibles d’ébullition ne sont
pas toujours présents lorsque le récipient est sorti du four
à micro-ondes. CELA PEUT ENTRAÎNER LE DÉBORDE-
MENT SOUDAIN DE LIQUIDES BRÛLANTS LORSQU’UNE
CUILLÈRE OU UN AUTRE USTENSILE EST PLONGÉ
DANS LE LIQUIDE. Pour réduire le risque de blessure :
a. Ne pas faire trop chauffer les liquides.
b. Mélangez le liquide avant et à la moitié du temps de
réchauffage.
c. N’utilisez pas de récipient sans rebord et à paroi étroite.
d. Après avoir réchauffé le récipient, laissez-le refroidir
dans le four à micro-ondes pendant une courte période
avant de retirer le récipient.
e. Soyez extrêmement prudent lorsque vous insérez
une cuillère ou un autre ustensile dans le récipient
10. Ne réchauffez pas de l’huile ou du gras pour y faire frire
des aliments. Il est dif cile de contrôler la température de
l’huile dans un four à micro-ondes.
11. Faites des entailles dans les aliments aux peaux
épaisses, tels que les pommes de terre, les courges
entières, les pommes et les châtaignes.
12. Le contenu des biberons et des bocaux pour bébés
devrait être mélangé ou agité, et la température doit être
véri ée avant de servir le contenu, dans le but d’éviter des
brûlures.
13. Les ustensiles de cuisson peuvent devenir chauds en
raison du transfert de chaleur provenant de la nourriture
réchauffée. Des poignées peuvent s'avérer nécessaires
pour manipuler les ustensiles.
14. Ne recouvrez et ne bloquez pas les ouvertures de
l’appareil.
15. Ne rangez et n’utilisez pas cet appareil à l’extérieur.
N’utilisez pas ce produit à proximité d’eau, par exemple,
près d’un évier, dans un sous-sol humide, près d’une
piscine ou dans un endroit similaire.
16. Ne faites pas fonctionner cet appareil si le cordon ou la
che sont endommagés, s’il ne fonctionne pas correctement,
s’il a été endommagé ou s'il est tombé par terre.
17. N’immergez pas le cordon ou la che dans l’eau.

22. Lorsque les surfaces de nettoyage de la porte et du four
entrent en contact lors de la fermeture de la porte, servez-

Il est préférable d'éviter de toucher des composants internes,
car cela pourrait entraîner des blessures sérieuses, voire la
mort. NE PAS démonter cet appareil.

Une mise à la terre inadéquate pourrait causer un choc élec-
trique. Ne pas brancher dans une prise tant que l'appareil n'a
pas été correctement mis à la terre.
AVERTISSEMENT : RISQUE DE CHOC ÉLECTRIQUE
Cet appareil doit être mis à la terre. Dans l'éventualité où un court-circuit électrique se produit, la mise à la terre réduit
les risques de choc électrique en assurant la présence d'un câble d'échappement pour le courant électrique. Un cordon
d'alimentation équipé d'un câble et d'une prise de mise à la terre est fourni avec cet appareil. La prise doit être insérée
dans une prise murale qui est elle-même correctement installée et mise à la terre.
Consultez un électricien ou un spécialiste des réparations quali é si les instructions de mise à la terre ne vous sont pas
parfaitement compréhensibles ou si vous avez des doutes pour savoir si l'appareil est correctement mis à la terre ou non.
S'il s'avère nécessaire d'utiliser un cordon d'extension, n'utilisez qu'un cordon d'extension à 3 câbles disposant d'une
prise à trois ches pour la mise à la terre, et un réceptacle à trois fentes qui pourra recevoir la prise de l'appareil. La clas-
si cation électrique du cordon d'extension devra être égale ou supérieure à celle de l'appareil.
Un cordon d'alimentation court est fourni a n de réduire les risques de trébucher sur un cordon plus long, ou de s'y em-
mêler.
Des cordons amovibles ou d'extension plus longs sont disponibles et peuvent être utilisés avec les précautions qui
s'imposent.
Dans le cas où un cordon amovible ou d'extension est utilisé :
1) La classi cation électrique du cordon amovible ou d'extension doit être au moins égale à celle de l'appareil;
2) Il doit s'agir d'une cordon d'extension à trois câbles avec mise à la terre; et
3) Le cordon doit être disposé de manière à ne pas pendre de la table ou du plan de travail, car il pourrait être tiré par des
enfants ou faire trébucher certaines personnes accidentellement.
Le fonctionnement d'un four à micro-ondes peut créer des interférences avec votre radio, votre téléviseur ou tout autre
équipement similaire.
Il est possible de réduire ou d'éliminer ces interférences par les mesures suivantes :
1) Nettoyer la porte et la surface assurant l'étanchéité du four
2) Repositionner l'antenne de réception de la radio ou du téléviseur
3) Réorienter le four à micro-ondes en fonction du récepteur
4) Déplacer le four à micro-ondes à l'écart du récepteur
5) Brancher le four à micro-ondes dans une prise différente a n que le four à micro-ondes et le récepteur se trouvent sur
des circuits électriques différents.
