CAUTION:
Usage of controls or adjustments or performance of procedures other than
those specified herein may result in hazardous radiation exposure.
This unit should not be adjusted or repaired by anyone except qualified service
personnel.
PRECAUTIONS BEFORE USE
KEEP THESE INSTRUCTIONS IN MIND:
1. Do not use this device near water.
2. Clean only with a slightly damp cloth.
3. Do not cover or block any ventilation openings. When placing the device
on a shelf, leave 5 cm (2”) free space around the whole device.
4. Install in accordance with the supplied user manual.
5. Don’t step on or pinch the power adaptor. Be very careful, particularly
near the plugs and the cable’s exit point. Do not place heavy items on
the power adaptor, which may damage it. Keep the entire device out of
children’s reach! When playing with the power cable, they can seriously
injure themselves.
6. Unplug this device during lightning storms or when unused for a long
period.
7. Keep the device away from heat sources such as radiators, heaters,
stoves, candles and other heat-generating products.
8. Avoid using the device near strong magnetic fields.
9. Electrostatic discharge can disturb normal usage of this device. If so,
simply reset and restart the device following the instruction manual.

During file transmission, please handle with care and operate in a static-
free environment.
10. Warning! Never insert an object into the product through the vents or
openings. High voltage flows through the product and inserting an object
can cause electric shock and/or short circuit internal parts. For the same
reason, do not spill water or liquid on the product.
11. Do not use in wet or moist areas such as bathrooms, steamy kitchens or
near swimming pools.
12. Do not use this device when condensation may occur.
13. Although this device is manufactured with the utmost care and checked
several times before leaving the factory, it is still possible that problems
may occur, as with all electrical appliances. If you notice smoke, an
excessive build-up of heat or any other unexpected phenomena, you
should disconnect the plug from the main power socket immediately.
14. This device must be well ventilated at all time!
15. This device must operate on a power source as specified on the
specification label. If you are not sure of the type of power supply used
in your home, consult your dealer or local power company.
16. The socket outlet must be installed near the equipment and must be
easily accessible.
17. Do not overload ac outlets or extension cords. Overloading can cause
fire or electric shock.
18. Devices with class 1 construction should be connected to a main socket
outlet with a protective earthed connection.
19. Devices with class 2 construction do not require an earthed connection.

20. Keep away from rodents. Rodents enjoy biting on power cords.
21. Always hold the plug when pulling it out of the main supply socket. Do
not pull the power cord. This can cause a short circuit.
22. Avoid placing the device on any surfaces that may be subject to
vibrations or shocks.
23. To protect the device during a thunderstorm, unplug the ac power
adaptor.
24. When the device is not in use for long periods, unplug the ac power
adaptor for safety reasons.
25. To clean the device, use a soft dry cloth. Do not use solvents or petrol
based fluids. To remove severe stains, you may use a damp cloth with
dilute detergent.
26. The supplier is not responsible for damage or lost data caused by
malfunction, misuse, modification of the device or battery replacement.
27. Do not interrupt the connection when the device is formatting or
transferring files. Otherwise, data may be corrupted or lost.
28. The usb memory stick should be plugged into the unit directly. Don’t use
an usb extension cable because it can cause interference resulting in
failing of data.
29. The apparatus shall not be exposed to dripping or splashing and make
sure that no objects filled with liquids, such as vases, are placed on or
near the apparatus.
30. To completely disconnect the power input, the mains plug of the
apparatus shall be disconnected from the mains, as the disconnect
device is the mains plug of apparatus.

31. The mains plug of the apparatus should not be obstructed or should be
easily accessed during intended use.
32. Battery shall not be exposed to excessive heat such as sunshine, fire or
the like.
33. Minimum distance of 10cm around the apparatus is needed for
sufficient ventilations.
34. The ventilation should not be impeded by covering the ventilation
openings with items such as newspapers, table-cloths, curtains etc.
35. No naked flame sources such as lighted candles should be placed on the
apparatus.
36. Attention should be drawn to the environmental aspects of battery
disposal.
37. The apparatus can only be used in moderate extremely cold or climates
warm environments should be avoided.
38. The rating label has been marked on the bottom panel of the apparatus.
39. This device is not intended for use by people (including children) with
physical, sensory or mental disabilities, or a lack of experience and
knowledge, unless they’re under supervision or have received
instructions about the correct use of the device by the person who is
responsible for their safety.
40. This product is intended for household use only and not for commercial
or industrial use.
41. Make sure the unit is adjusted to a stable position. Damage caused by
using this product in an unstable position or by failure to follow any
other warning or precaution contained within this user manual will not

be covered by warranty.
42. Never remove the casing of this apparatus.
43. Never place this apparatus on other electrical equipment.
44. Do not use or store this product in a place where it is subject to direct
sunlight, heat, excessive dust or vibration.
45. Do not clean this product with water or other liquids.
46. Do not block or cover the slots and holes in the product.
47. Do not push foreign objects into the slots or holes in the product.
48. Do not allow children access to plastic bags.
49. Please check that the voltage on the type plate of your appliance
corresponds with your house electricity supply (type plate is located on
the back of the unit).
50. Protect the power cord from being walked on or pinched, particularly at
plugs, convenience receptacles, and the point where they exit from the
apparatus.
51. Only use attachments/accessories specified by the manufacturer.
52. Refer all servicing to qualified service personnel. Servicing is required
when the apparatus has been damaged in any way, such as the power
supply cord or the plug, when liquid has been spilled or objects have
fallen into the apparatus, when the apparatus has been exposed to rain
or moisture, does not operate normally, or has been dropped.
53. Do not use a damaged power cord or plug or a loose outlet. Doing so
may result in fire or electric shock.
Warning: prolonged exposure to loud sounds from personal music players may
lead to temporary or permanent hearing loss.

Suction holder installation method:
The DAC-100 has a metallic back side and will be placed on the magnetic part of
the holder.

Remark: If the dashboard Surface is not 100% flat or if there is any grainy
Surface, the suction holder will not adhere perfectly. Better put it on the
windshield or use the vent holder.
Vent holder install method:
Click the vent holder on the air vent. The backside of DAC-100 is metallic and
the holder has a magnetic part: they fit.

Magnet Antenna Installation
Please follow the installation steps to install the antenna; any wrong installation
might cause the sensitivity reduction.

1. Installation Steps (Photos for reference only)
1) Please connect the black conductive band (2) with the white metal
(4) of the antenna.
2) Open the cover board of the ceiling of the window frame and attach
the magnet of the conductive band on the metal part of the car. Pull
a little bit on the conductive band to make sure that the magnet is
making good contact with the metal of the car.

3) Remove the protective film of the antenna (5), stick the antenna on
the windshield.
4) Hide the antenna cable behind the rubber profile of the door
opening or the profile of the window or use the self-adhesive clips
to stick the cable on the windshield

! Remark: The magnet of the conductive band must be attached on the
metal part of the car; otherwise the antenna performance will decrease
30%, or even more.
2. CAUTIONS:
1) This magnetic antenna is use inside the car exclusively. Do not
attach it outside the car.
2) Do not install at the following locations:
- Where it may block driver’s view
- Where it may obstruct operation of safety devices such as air
bags
- On movable glass surface such as rear hatch
3) Antenna performance may effected in the following cases:
- The magnet part is not attached on the metal part of the car.
- Install on IR reflecting glass, thermal insulation glass, or where
covered with mirror type glass film.
- Install it at the side of vehicle such as door, rear window or
overlaps with the window heating wires
- Any noise of motor, like working noise of air conditioner or
windshield wiper.
DAB/DAB+ Antenna type:
We have made the antenna base with COAXIAL POWER SUPPLY for our own
designed antenna.
If you use other brand antenna, it may damage the unit.

How to use:
1. Insert the power supply plug into the car cigarette power port (Input:
DC12V).
2. Short press turn on, Short press turn off.
3. Connect the AUX wire (included) from the out jack of the DAB-100 with
the AUX input jack of your car or car radio.
4. DAB mode:
---A: Under DAB mode, long press enter into DAB full scan, and
then rotate the M button to adjust the DAB station.
Since 2 times FM frequency is close DAB station frequency, in order to
avoid interfering DAB station scanning, the FM transmitter will stop work
when you scanning DAB station. After scanning the DAB station, the FM
transmitter will automatically change to the frequency that is not
interfering with the DAB signal frequency.
---B: Under your favorite station, long press choose favorite
station, then rotate the button to choose the location you want to save
(such as p1, p2), then short press M button to confirm.
PRESET mode:
1. Short press , and then rotate the M button to listen the favorite
station which you saved.
2. Turn on your in-car audio system.
Volume control:

Long press the M button, then you can rotate M button to adjust the volume.
OTHER MODES EXCEPT DAB MODE
A. BT mode
Select bluetooth by pressing the M button. Pair the unit with your cell phone
via Bluetooth.
a. BT calling
When there is call incoming, short press button to answer the call, short
press button to hang up the call and double press to reject an
incoming call. Adjust the volume for the phone call also on your Smartphone.
b. BT music playing
Once paired with phone Bluetooth, the unit will play music automatically, if not,
press button to start playing or pausing. Enter the menu setting to switch
on/off the Bluetooth.
B. Micro SD Card mode:
Insert the Micro SD card, it will play music automatically. Short press
to convert Random play, Repeat-one, Repeat all. If the micro SD card is
inserted you can also select other modes and come back on SD mode by
pressing the M button.
FM transmission mode:
If your car has no AUX input jack, please do not plug the AUX output cable.
(Because by plugging the AUX cable, The FM will stop to transmit)

Select a frequency without noise (empty channel) on your car radio.
Select the same frequency on your DAC-100 by pressing button,
and then adjust by rotating the M button, then press M button again.
For a better Sound quality, if your car has an AUX input, we always
recommend you to use the AUX cable.
Menu setting:
1) long press MENU button for 3 seconds to enter menu setting
2) Rotate M button to choose setting option
3) Rotate M button adjust the selected option, then short press the M
button to confirm
EXPLANATION OF MENU:
Press the Info/Menu button for 2 seconds.
DAB AUTOSCAN:
Press M button to scan available DAB stations.
COLOR SETTING:
You can choose the colors of your screen.
LANGUAGE:
You can select your own language
DELETE ALL PRESETS:
You can delete your selected presets
SERVICE FOLLOWING:

By selecting this Service your DAC-100 will automatically change the frequency
when you are driving to always provide your selected radio station.
TA MSG:
TA is traffic announcement message Service. By activating this function, you will
get local traffic information while listening to any radio station. You can activate
or deactivate the TA function of the buttons. Remark : This function is not yet
supported in all countries!
BUTTON LIGHT:
You can activate or deactivate the lighting of the buttons.
FACTORY RESET:
Your DAC-100 will return to the Factory adjustments.
SOFTWARE VERSION:
You can see the software version of your DAC-100.
