INTENDED USE

The NuFACE Trinity + Effective Lip & Eye attachment is intended to be used in conjunction with the

NuFACE Trinity+ device for facial stimulation and is indicated for over-the-counter cosmetic use.

IMPORTANT INFORMATION

• Use the Trinity+ Effective Lip & Eye attachment as described within this User Manual.

• The NuFACE Trinity+ device User Manual may also be referenced.

• The risks and dangers of using the attachment in any way that does not follow this

User Manual are unknown.

• Your Effective Lip & Eye Attachment has a unique serial number located on the underside

of the attachment.

• Register your new device at www.NuFACE.com.

CONTRAINDICATIONS FOR USE

• DO NOT use this device if you have a history of epilepsy or seizures.

• DO NOT use if you have had recent surgery or other surgical procedures.

• DO NOT use if you have any active cancer or over any suspicious or cancerous lesion.

• DO NOT use if you are pregnant. The safety of electrical stimulation during pregnancy

has not been established.

• DO NOT use if you have an electronic implanted device such as a defibrillator, neurostimulator,

pacemaker, or ECG Monitor.

• If you use a body-worn medical device, such as an insulin pump, consult your healthcare provider.

• DO NOT use on infants and children under the age of 18.

• Consult your healthcare provider if any of the contraindications above apply to you.

WARNINGS

• If you are under the care of a physician, consult your physician before using this device.

• This device is not intended for use by persons (including children) with reduced physical,

sensory, or mental capabilities, or lack of experience and knowledge, unless they have been

given supervision or instruction concerning use of the appliance by a person responsible

for their safety.

• Apply stimulation only to normal, intact, clean healthy skin.

DO NOT use if areas of your skin are swollen, infected, or inflamed areas or skin eruptions

(e.g., phlebitis, thrombophlebitis, broken capillaries, varicose veins, etc.

• The product may not be safe for use on the neck in individuals with a known history of carotid

artery disease, stroke, or transient ischemic attack (TIA), carotid stenosis, unstable blood pressure,

easy fainting, thyroid disease, or prior surgical procedures in the neck area.

• DO NOT operate the Effective Lip & Eye Attachment near electronic monitoring equipment (e.g.,

heart monitors, heart tracing) or in close proximity (e.g. 1 m / 3ft) to shortwave, microwave, or

electromagnetic therapy equipment as it may cause the medical equipment to malfunction. Such

equipment may produce instability in the device output and cause burns at the stimulation site.

• DO NOT disassemble the device as this may cause damage, malfunction, electrical shock, fire,

or injury.

• Keep the device and related electrical accessories away from direct contact with water (including

baths, showers, and sinks).

• DO NOT use across your chest as the introduction of electrical current into the chest may cause

rhythmic disturbances to your heart, which could be lethal.

• Keep the device out of the reach of children and pets.

• If you have a spinal cord injury.

• If you have any underlying skin conditions.

• If you have a tendency to excessively bleed following an injury.

• If you experience constant headaches and/or painful sensations.

• If you have suspected or diagnosed heart disease.

DO NOT apply stimulation/use the device:

• When there is a tendency to excessively bleed following acute injury or breaks in bones.

• When the device is on the charging cradle.

• On the eye area (circular muscle within the orbital rim).

• On the temples, the breast or groin area.

• Over painful areas of your skin or in areas that lack normal sensation.

• While bathing or showering.

• At extreme temperatures.

• If you suspect the device is damaged or not functioning properly.

• While driving or operating machinery.

Discontinue use of the device and contact your healthcare provider if you experience

any of the following:

• Persistent pain or discomfort.

• Discomfort or any difficulty breathing or swallowing.

• Negative or harmful reaction(s) or injury.

• Symptoms of hypertension (dizziness or lightheadedness).

• Constant headaches and/or painful sensations.

• Skin irritation or burning.

• Unpleasant sensations on skin during use.

• Consistent flashing lights when without the use of your device.

If you experience any negative reactions while using the device and attachments,

stop use immediately and contact your healthcare provider.

PRECAUTIONS

• The Effective Lip & Eye attachment is designed for cosmetic use only.

• The device and attachments should be operated, transported, and stored in the manner

specified in this manual. Failure to use and maintain the device and corresponding attachments

in accordance with the instructions outlined in this manual may result in product damage or

physical injury.

• The long-term effects of transcutaneous electrical stimulators are unknown.

• Apply stimulation only to normal, intact, clean, healthy skin.

• Avoid applying excessive pressure when using the device.

• Skin irritation or hypersensitivity may occur due to the electrical stimulation and / or use

of the NuFACE® Microcurrent Activator.

• A microcurrent sensation may occur while using the device. Using a lower intensity and / or

additional activator may be needed to reduce the sensation.

• A perception of flashing lights may occur if device is used near or around the eye region.

• DO NOT use the device if you see any signs of damage or leaks from the device.

• DO NOT remove the battery of the device.

• DO NOT store the Trinity+ device in the sun or on a hot surface.

• DO NOT place wands from the attachment directly on or into the nose.

• DO NOT place wands from the attachment directly on or into the tear duct or eyelid.

• Activator must be reapplied If skin becomes dry during treatment.

• Failure to use and maintain the device and attachments in accordance with the instructions

outlined in this manual will void the warranty.

• The use of accessories, transducers, and cables other than those sold by NuFACE may result

in increased emissions, decreased life of the device, or injury.

• Children should be supervised to ensure that they DO NOT play with the device.

The NuFACE® Trinity+ Effective Lip & Eye attachment is intended for cosmetic use on the face

as described. Any consequence resulting from misuse, application to other parts of the body or

face, connection to improper voltage sources, dirty wands, expired or non-NuFACE conductive

alternative, or any other improper application is neither the responsibility of NuFACE nor its

affiliates.

The NuFACE® Trinity+ Effective Lip & Eye attachment has been designed to provide freedom

from unacceptable risk when used under normal conditions and reasonably foreseeable hazards.

In the event of complete loss of treatment function, the Trinity+ Effective Lip & Eye attachment

does not pose a risk to the User.

NUFACE MICROCURRENT ACTIVATOR

The essential first step to your microcurrent treatment to ensure optimal results.

• Always apply Microcurrent Activator when using the Trinity+ device EFFECTIVE LIP & EYE

ATTACHMENT.

• Refer to packaging for use by date.

TREATMENT AREAS AND TECHNIQUE

The instructions below are designed to provide users with the most effective results when

followed correctly.

TREATMENT

The Trinity+ Effective Lip & Eye attachment is designed to stimulate smaller surface areas of

the face, such as the lip and eye area.

TECHNIQUES

Using light to medium pressure, glide or hold both wands over each treatment area position.

IMPORTANT: Always ensure that both wands are in contact with the skin during treatment.

Always ensure that you are correctly holding the device in either a vertical or horizontal

position, as required per the specified treatment area.

• Refer to the Quick Start section in this manual for proper positioning of the wands and

techniques for conducting treatment.

website at www.NuFACE.com.

BEFORE USING YOUR NEW ATTACHMENT

Follow these important steps before using your new attachment.

Follow steps 1-5 of the NuFACE Trinity+ Device (sold separately) Manual "BEFORE USING

YOUR NEW DEVICE" section.

1) READ the NuFACE Trinity+ Device User Manual (sold separately)

Reference the section in the Trinity+ Device User Manual titled "BEFORE USING YOUR

NEW DEVICE" before changing attachments.

2) CONNECT YOUR TRINITY+ EFFECTIVE LIP & EYE ATTACHEMENT

The NuFACE Trinity+ device is designed with magnetic attachments.

• Remove the Facial Trainer attachment.

• Connect the Effective Lip & Eye attachment onto the NuFACE Trinity+ device.

The Trinity+ device will NOT turn on if the attachment is not securely in place.

3) TEST YOUR SKIN SENSITIVITY

IMPORTANT: Test your skin to make sure you are not sensitive to the NuFACE

Microcurrent Activator.

• Rub a small amount of Microcurrent Activator on your inner forearm and leave for

15-30 minutes before washing it off.

• If an allergic reaction (rash, redness, etc.) develops, immediately contact NuFACE for

recommendations on alternative NuFACE formulas. DO NOT continue application of the

Microcurrent Activator with the Trinity+ device until a resolution such as an alternate

Microcurrent Activator has been identified.

HOW TO USE YOUR TRINITY+ EFFECTIVE LIP & EYE ATTACHMENT

Get ready to Tone, Lift, and Contour.

The instructions below are designed to provide the most effective results when followed correctly.

1) CLEANSE YOUR FACE

Cleanse your face and neck with an oil-free cleanser. Men should shave before treatment —

facial hair can interfere with the conductivity of the wands.

Note: Any cream, lotion, self-tanner, and/or oil-based products on the skin can block the

microcurrent.

2) APPLY ACTIVATOR

IMPORTANT: Always apply a NuFACE Microcurrent Activator when using your Trinity+ device.

The instructions below are designed to provide the most effective results when followed correctly.

• Apply a mask-like layer of the NuFACE Microcurrent Activator (sold separately) section-by-

section as you treat.

• Reapply activator if skin becomes dry during treatment in order to continue safely using device.

3) PREPARE YOUR DEVICE AND ATTACHMENT

• Remove your device from the charging cradle.

• Ensure your Effective Lip & Eye attachment is securely in place and turn it ON by pressing

the ON/OFF button.

• An ascending audible beep is emitted, the energizing hum will begin, and the lights will

illuminate indicating that your device is ON.

• Adjust the intensity level to your comfort by pressing the ON/OFF button on the front of

your device.

• As you increase or decrease intensity, an audible beep is emitted, and the number of

illuminated lights will change.

4) BEGIN TREATMENT

You can also refer to the Quick Start section for basic glides treatment for the lip, eye, and brow area.

• Place the Effective Lip & Eye Attachment in direct contact with the treatment area.

• Always keep both wands in contact with the skin during treatment to keep microcurrent

flowing.

• Using light to medium pressure, begin treatment.

• The device emits a dual tone beep every seven (7) seconds to indicate when to move to the

next treatment area.

IMPORTANT: If you feel the electrical current and / or experience a tingling sensation on your skin,

do the following:

• Add more NuFACE Microcurrent Activator to the area you are treating.

The device will NOT contract the muscles when used as instructed.

• Lower the intensity on the device.

Lowering the intensity may also reduce or eliminate this sensation.

QUICK START

Following steps 1–4 under 'HOW TO USE YOUR TRINITY+ EFFECTIVE LIP & EYE

ATTACHMENT' section:

• Glide or hold both wands over each treatment area position as shown for one (1) beep

seven (7) seconds.

• Complete each sequence two (2) times beginning with the Lip Area on the right

side of your face, then three (3) times on the Eye and Brow are.

• Then repeat the order by completing the same sequence on the left side of your face.

5) FINISH TREATMENT

• After treatment is complete, massage remaining NuFACE Microcurrent Activator into skin.

• Turn OFF the Trinity+ device after treatment.

• A descending audible beep is emitted notifying you that your device is turning OFF.

The Trinity+ device will automatically shut off after 20 minutes of use.

Go to the section ‘CARING FOR YOUR EFFECTIVE LIP & EYE ATTACHMENT’ for instructions

on cleaning and maintaining your device.

If you need to clean your device, go to section titled “CLEANING” located in this manual.

TREATMENT FREQUENCY

• Use on targeted areas (3 minutes for the lips, 5 minutes for the eyes).

• For the first 60 days, use 5 days per week.

• After 60 days, use 2-3 times per week for maintenance.

• Allow 24 hours between treatment sessions.

Results may vary based on skin type and skin condition. Best results are achieved with regular use.

• To pair your device, in the App, click on ‘Add Device’ and follow the on-screen instructions to

connect. The NuFACE app is available in many countries around the world.

CARING FOR YOUR EFFECTIVE LIP & EYE ATTACHMENT

Cleaning:

• Slightly dampen a soft, lint-free cloth with water or rubbing alcohol to clean your device and

attachments after every treatment.

• DO NOT submerge your device or any of the attachments in water at any time.

Storage:

• The Trinity+ device and accessories are intended to be stored and used at room temperature.

Use caution prior to using the device if it has been stored or not used for an extended period

of time.

Disposal:

IMPORTANT: If disposing the accessories, follow local regulations for proper disposal.

TROUBLESHOOTING

Device Not Turning On:

1) Check to see if your Trinity+ device is fully charged.

• If the device does not turn ON, the battery may be drained.

• A full charge cycle of ten (10) hours may be required for the device.

• Reference the ‘NuFACE Trinity+ Device User Manual’ for additional troubleshooting.

2) Check to see if the attachment is completely secured to the Trinity+ device.

IMPORTANT: The Trinity+ device will NOT turn on if the attachment is not securely in place.

DO NOT attempt to troubleshoot by disassembling the product as this will void the warranty and

may cause injury.

For additional troubleshooting or information specific to the device, reference the NuFACE®

Trinity+ Device User Manual.

WARRANTY

NuFACE® warrants that all NuFACE® Trinity+ devices and attachments are free from manufacture

defects in materials and workmanship for a period of two (2) years from the date of your original

purchase. Our obligation under this Warranty is limited to replacement of the product which will

not extend the period of your warranty. This Warranty does not cover damage covered by abuse,

improper care, application of harmful chemicals, product that may have been altered in any way,

loss of the device and product purchased from an unauthorized seller.

NO OTHER WARRANTY EXPRESSED OR IMPLIED, WHETHER OF FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR

PURPOSE OR OF MERCHANTABILITY OR OF ANY OTHER KIND, SHALL EXIST IN RESPECT TO

• Lorsque l’appareil se trouve sur le support de chargement.

• Au niveau du contour des yeux (muscle circulaire autour de l’orbite).

• Sur les tempes, la zone mammaire ou l’aine.

• Sur les zones douloureuses de votre peau ou les zones privées de sensation normale.

• Pendant le bain ou la douche.

• Dans des températures extrêmes.

• Si vous soupçonnez que l’appareil est endommagé ou ne fonctionne pas correctement.

• En conduisant ou en utilisant des machines.

Cessez d’utiliser l’appareil et contactez votre professionnel de santé dans l’un des cas suivants:

• Douleur ou gêne persistante.

• Gêne ou toute difficulté à respirer ou à avaler.

• Réaction(s) négative(s) ou nocive(s) ou blessure(s).

• Symptômes d’hypertension (vertiges ou étourdissements).

• Maux de tête constants et/ou sensations douloureuses.

• Irritation ou brûlure de la peau.

• Sensations désagréables sur la peau pendant l’utilisation.

• Lumières clignotantes constantes lorsque l’appareil n’est pas utilisé.

• L’accessoire efficace pour lèvres et yeux est conçu pour un usage cosmétique uniquement.

• L’appareil et les accessoires doivent être utilisés, transportés et rangés de la façon indiquée

dans ce manuel d’utilisation. Toute utilisation et tout entretien de l’appareil et des accessoires

correspondants de façon non conforme aux instructions décrites dans ce manuel peut

endommager le produit ou causer des blessures physiques.

• Les effets à long terme des stimulateurs électriques transcutanés sont inconnus.

• Appliquez les stimulations uniquement sur une peau normale, intacte, propre et saine.

• Évitez d’exercer une pression forte quand vous utilisez l’appareil.

• Une irritation ou une hypersensibilité de la peau peut se produire en raison de la stimulation

électrique et/ou de l’utilisation de l’activateur de microcourant NuFACE®.

ACTIVATEUR DE MICROCOURANT NUFACE

Le premier pas essentiel à votre traitement par microcourant pour vous garantir des

résultats optimaux.

• Appliquez toujours l’activateur de microcourant lors de l’utilisation de l’ACCESSOIRE

EFFICACE POUR LÈVRES ET YEUX Trinity+.

• Se référer à l’emballage pour la date d’expiration.

ZONES ET TECHNIQUE DE TRAITEMENT

Les instructions ci-dessous ont été rédigées pour fournir les résultats les plus efficaces si vous

les suivez correctement.

TRAITEMENT

L’accessoire efficace pour lèvres et yeux Trinity+ est conçu pour stimuler les petites surfaces

du visage, telles que les lèvres et les yeux.

TECHNIQUES

En appliquant une pression douce à modérée, faites glisser ou maintenez les deux baguettes sur

chaque position de la zone de traitement.

IMPORTANT: assurez-vous toujours que les deux baguettes sont en contact avec la peau

pendant le traitement. Veillez à tenir correctement votre appareil, en position verticale ou

horizontale selon la zone que vous traitez.

• Référez-vous à la section Démarrage rapide de ce manuel pour connaître le positionnement

correct des baguettes et les bonnes techniques à appliquer pour effectuer le traitement.

• Pour des options de traitements plus avancées, téléchargez l’application NuFACE ou rendez-vous

AVANT D’UTILISER VOTRE NOUVEL ACCESSOIRE

Suivez ces étapes importantes avant de commencer à utiliser votre nouvel accessoire.

1) LISEZ le manuel d’utilisation de l’appareil NuFACETrinity+ (vendu séparément)

Référez-vous à la section « AVANT D’UTILISER VOTRE NOUVEL APPAREIL » du manuel d’utilisation

de l’appareil Trinity+ avant de changer d’accessoire.

2) CONNECTEZ VOTRE ACCESSOIRE EFFICACE POUR LÈVRES ET YEUX TRINITY+

L’appareil NuFACETrinity+ est conçu avec des accessoires magnétiques.

• Retirez l’accessoire entraîneur facial.

• Connectez l’accessoire efficace pour lèvres et yeux à l’appareil NuFACETrinity+.

L’appareil Trinity+ ne s’allumera PAS si l’accessoire n’est pas correctement fixé.

3) TESTEZ LA SENSIBILITÉ DE VOTRE PEAU

IMPORTANT: effectuez un test cutané pour vous assurer que vous ne faites pas de réaction à

l’activateur de microcourant NuFACE.

• Appliquez une quantité d’activateur de microcourant sur votre avant-bras et laissez reposer

pendant 15à 30minutes avant de rincer.

• Si une réaction allergique (éruption cutanée, rougeur, etc.) se développe, veuillez contacter

immédiatement NuFACE pour obtenir des recommandations de formules NuFACE alternatives.

CESSER d’appliquer l’activateur de microcourant avec l’appareil Trinity+ jusqu’à ce qu’une autre

solution (telle qu’un autre activateur de microcourant) ait été trouvée.

UTILISER L’ACCESSOIRE EFFICACE POUR LÈVRES ET YEUX TRINITY+

Préparez-vous à tonifier, rehausser et définir les contours de votre visage.

Les instructions ci-dessous ont été rédigées pour fournir les résultats les plus efficaces si vous les

suivez correctement.

1) NETTOYEZ VOTRE VISAGE

Nettoyez votre visage et votre cou avec un produit sans huile. Nous conseillons aux hommes de

se raser avant le traitement, car les poils du visage peuvent nuire à la conductivité des baguettes.

Remarque: les crèmes, lotions, auto bronzants et/ou tout autre produit à base d’huile sur la

peau peuvent bloquer le microcourant.

2) APPLIQUEZ L’ACTIVATEUR

IMPORTANT: IMPORTANT: appliquez toujours un activateur de microcourant NuFACE avant

d’utiliser l’appareil Trinity+.

• Appliquez une couche d’activateur de microcourant NuFACE (vendu séparément) une zone après

l’autre lors du traitement.

• Renouvelez l’application de l’activateur si la peau devient sèche pendant le traitement afin de

continuer d’utiliser l’appareil en toute sécurité.

3) PRÉPAREZ L’APPAREIL ET L’ACCESSOIRE

• Retirez votre appareil de la station de recharge.

• Assurez-vous que l’accessoire efficace pour lèvres et yeux est bien fixé et allumez-le en appuyant

sur le bouton Marche/Arrêt.

• Un bip sonore ascendant sera émis, un bourdonnement énergisant commencera et les lumières

s’allumeront, indiquant que votre appareil est allumé.

• Ajustez le niveau d’intensité selon votre préférence en appuyant sur le bouton Marche/Arrêt situé

à l’avant de votre appareil.

• Lorsque vous augmentez ou diminuez l’intensité, un bip sonore est émis et le nombre de voyants

lumineux change.
