Your Responsibilities:
Electrical appliances may expose people to hazards
that can cause severe injury as well as death. The
use of electrical products may create hazards that
include, but are not limited to, injury, fire, electrical
shock and electrical system damage. These
instructions are intended to provide you with the
information you need to use the product and to avoid
such hazards.
When using electrical appliances, basic
precautions should always be followed to
reduce risk of fire, electric shock, and injury
to persons including the following:
1. Warning: Read all instructions before using
this heater.
2. Warning: This heater is hot when in use.
To avoid burns, do not let bare skin touch
hot surfaces. If provided, use handles when
moving this heater. Keep combustible
materials, such as furniture, pillows, bedding,
papers, clothes, and curtains at least 3 feet
(0.9 m) from the front of the heater and keep
them away from the sides and rear.
3. Warning: Extreme caution is necessary
when any heater is used by or near children
or invalids, and whenever the heater is left
operation and unattended.
4. Warning: Always unplug heater when not in
use.

5. Warning: Do not operate any heater with a
damaged cord or plug or after the heater
malfunctions, has been dropped or damaged
in any manner. Discard heater or return heater
to authorized service facility for examination
and /or repair.

7. Warning: Do not use outdoors.
8. Warning: This heater is not intended for use
in bathrooms, laundry areas and similar indoor
locations. Never locate heater where it may
fall into a bathtub or other water container.
9. Warning: Do not run cord under carpeting.
Do not cover cord with throw rugs, runners,
or similar coverings. Do not route cord under
furniture or appliances. Arrange cord away
from trac area and where it will not be
tripped over.
10. CAUTION - THIS APPLIANCE HAS A
GROUNDED PLUG 3PRONG. TO REDUCE
THE RISK OF ELECTRIC SHOW, CONNECT
TO PROPERLY GROUNDED OUTLETS ONLY.
11. Warning: This heater draws 12.5 amps during
operation. To prevent overloading a circuit, do
not plug the heater into a circuit that already
has other appliances working.
12. Warning: It is normal for the plug to feel
warm to the touch; however, a loose fit
between the AC outlet (receptacle) and plug
may cause overheating and distortion of the
plug. Contact a qualified electrician to replace
a loose or worn outlet.
13. Warning: To disconnect the heater, first turn
o the product, then the grip the plug body
and pull it from the wall outlet. Never pull by
the cord.
14. Warning: Do not insert or allow foreign
objects to enter any ventilation or exhaust
opening as this may cause an electric shock
or fire, or damage the heater.
15. Warning: To prevent a possible fire, do not
block air intakes or exhaust in any manner. Do

not use on soft surfaces, like a bed, or where
openings may become blocked.
16. Warning: A heater has hot and arcing or
sparking parts inside. Do not use it in areas
where gasoline, paint or flammable liquids are
used or stored.
17. Warning: Use this heater only as described in
this manual. Any other use not recommended
by the manufacturer may cause fire, electric
shock, or injury to persons.
18. Warning: Always plug heater directly into
a wall outlet/receptacle. Never use with an
extension cord or relocatable power tap
(outlet/power strip).
19. Warning: Never tamper with this product
or attempt to fix it. Any tampering with, or
modification of, this product can result in
serious injury, death, or fire. Risk of electric
shock. Do not open. No user serviceable parts
inside.
20. Warning: Do not remove product labels that
contain warnings or safety instruction.

21. CAUTION: The output of this heater may
vary and its temperature may become
intense enough to burn exposed skin.
Use of this heater is not recommended for
persons with reduced sensitivity to heat or
an inability to react to avoid burns.
22. CAUTION: Before cleaning or storage,
or when not in use, turn the product's
controls to the OFF position and unplug
the heater from the electrical outlet and
allow to cool.
23. CAUTION: Place the heater on a firm,
level, open surface free from obstructions
and at least 3 feet (0.9 m) away from any
combustible materials. DO NOT use on an
unstable surface such as bedding or deep
carpeting. Be sure the heater is not in a
position where it may be tripped over by
small children or pets. The heater's rubber
feet will hold it firmly in position.
24. CAUTION: If your home has aluminum
wiring have a licensed electrician check
your receptacle's connections. When
using a 1500 watt heater, aluminum wire
connections can cause a safety issue.
OPERATION OF THE
HOTSHOT HEATER:
• Remove the heater from all packaging and place it in the desired location
• Ensure that there is a safe distance between the heater and furniture, curtains etc.
• Unwind the power cord and plug it into the power outlet
• To activate the heater, turn the knob clockwise to the
position for cool air. Turn knob to
for low power and
for maximum power
• Use the thermostat knob to set your desired temperature
• When you feel the room temperature is comfortable, turn the thermostat switch counter
clockwise slowly until the unit switches o
• The thermostat will keep the room at this desired temperature automatically
No liability can be accepted for any damage caused by noncompliance with these instructions or
any other improper use or mishandling.

AUTO SAFETY SHUT OFF:
The HotShot has a built in safety device, which will shut the heater o in case of accidental
overheating. To reset the heater follow these steps:
• Turn the control setting to the
position
• Unplug the heater and wait 5-10 minutes for the heater to cool down
• After the unit has cooled, plug it in and operate normally
CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE:
Be sure to switch o power and unplug the unit before cleaning.
• Wait for the heater to cool down suciently
• Clean the body of the heater with a damp cloth. DO NOT ALLOW water into the appliance
• DO NOT use soap or chemicals that could damage the housing of the heater
• Allow sucient drying time before operating again
• Clean the air inlets and outlets regularly with a vacuum cleaner
• When the unit is not in use we recommend that the heater is placed back in its original
packaging
• Do not dispose of electrical appliances as unsorted municipal waste, use separate collection
facilities.

Vos responsabilités:

radiateur dont le cordon ou la fiche serait
endommagé, ni après une défaillance du
radiateur, ou après qu’il ait chuté ou qu’il ait
été endommagé de quelque manière. Jeter le
radiateur ou l’apporter à un centre de service
autorisé pour inspection et/ou réparation.

7. Avertissement : Ne pas utiliser à l’extérieur.
8. Avertissement : Ce radiateur n’est pas
conçu pour utilisation dans une salle de bain,
une salle de lavage ou tout endroit intérieur
similaire. Ne jamais positionner le radiateur à
un endroit duquel il pourrait tomber dans une
baignoire ou dans un autre contenant d’eau
ou de liquide.
9. Avertissement : Ne pas faire courir le cordon
sous un tapis. Ne pas couvrir le cordon avec
des carpettes, des tapis d’escalier, ou avec
des recouvrements similaires. Ne pas courir le
cordon sous un meuble ou un appareil. Placer
le cordon éloigné des aires de trafic, et à un
endroit qui assure de prévenir de basculer
dessus.

11. Avertissement : Ce radiateur consomme
12,5ampères pour fonctionner. Pour prévenir
de surcharger un circuit, ne pas brancher le
radiateur dans un circuit qui alimente déjà
d’autres appareils en fonctionnement.

12. Avertissement : Il est normal que la fiche soit
chaude au toucher; toutefois, un ajustement
lâche entre la prise de courant et la fiche
peut causer une surchaue et la distorsion
de la fiche. Communiquer avec un électricien
qualifié pour le remplacement d’une prise de
courant dont les alvéoles seraient lâches ou
usées.
13. Avertissement : Pour débrancher ce
radiateur, il faut d’abord éteindre le produit,
puis empoigner le bâti de la fiche et le tirer
hors la prise de courant. Ne jamais tirer sur le
cordon même.
14. Avertissement : Ne pas insérer ni permettre
à un objet étranger d’entrer dans quelque
ouverture de ventilation ou d’évacuation, car
cela peut causer une décharge électrique, un
incendie ou un dommage au radiateur.
15. Avertissement : Afin de prévenir un possible
incendie, ne pas bloquer les entrées d’air ni
les ports d’évacuation de quelque manière.
Ne pas utiliser sur une surface molle, tel que
sur un lit, ou à un endroit où ses ouvertures
pourraient se bloquer.
16. Avertissement : Un radiateur comporte
des pièces chaudes et qui produisent un arc
électrique ou des étincelles à l’intérieur. Ne
pas utiliser dans un endroit où pourraient se
trouver de l’essence, de la peinture ou des
liquides inflammables.
17. Avertissement : Utiliser ce radiateur
uniquement tel que décrit dans ce manuel.
Toute autre utilisation non recommandée
par le fabricant peut causer un incendie, une
électrocution ou des blessures.
18. Avertissement : Brancher toujours ce
radiateur directement dans une prise de
courant. Ne jamais utiliser une rallonge ni
une source d’alimentation mobile (prise de
courant mobile ou barre d’alimentation).
19. Avertissement : Ne pas tenter d’altérer ce
produit ni de le réparer. Toute altération ou
modification de ce produit peut causer des
blessures graves, un décès ou un incendie.
Risque d’électrocution. Ne pas ouvrir. Il n’y
a aucune pièce réparable par l’utilisateur à
l’intérieur.
20. Avertissement : Ne pas retirer les étiquettes
de sécurité sur ce produit, elles contiennent
des avertissements ou des instructions de
sécurité.
21. MISE EN GARDE: La sortie de ce radiateur
peut varier et sa température peut devenir
susamment intense pour brûler la peau
nue. L’utilisation de ce radiateur n’est pas
recommandée par des personnes avec
une sensibilité réduite à la chaleur, ou
sourant d’une incapacité à réagir pour
éviter les brûlures.
22. MISE EN GARDE : Avant le nettoyage
ou le rangement, ou quand il n’est pas
utilisé, mettre le contrôle de ce produit
à la position éteinte (OFF), débrancher
le radiateur de la prise de courant, et le
laisser refroidir.
23. MISE EN GARDE : Placer le radiateur
sur une surface ferme, à niveau, ouverte
et libre de quelque obstruction, et
à au moins 0,9 m (3 pi) de distance
de tout matériau combustible.
NE PAS l’utiliser sur une surface
instable comme la literie ou un tapis
épais. S’assurer que ce radiateur ne
soit pas dans une position dans laquelle
un enfant ou un animal de compagnie
pourrait passer au-dessus. Les pattes en
caoutchouc du radiateur permettent de le
garder solidement en place.
24. MISE EN GARDE : Si votre résidence
est munie de filage en aluminium, un
électricien qualifié doit vérifier les
connexions de votre prise de courant.
Lors de l’utilisation d’un radiateur de
1 500 watts, les connexions de fils en
aluminium peuvent causer un problème
de sécurité.

UTILISATION DU
RADIATEUR SOUFFLANT HOTSHOT :
• Retirez le radiateur souant de tous ses emballages et placez-le à l'emplacement désiré
• Assurez-vous qu'il existe une distance de sécurité susante entre le radiateur souant et toute pièce
d'ameublement, rideau, etc.
• Déroulez le cordon d'alimentation et insérez la fiche dans la prise de courant
• Pour mettre le radiateur en marche, tournez le bouton dans le sens des aiguilles d'une montre jusqu'à la
position
pour obtenir de l'air à la température ambiante. Tournez le bouton à la position
pour un
fonctionnement à faible puissance ou à la position
pour un fonctionnement à la puissance maximale
• Utilisez le bouton du thermostat pour régler à la température voulue
• Quand vous jugez que la température de la pièce est confortable, tournez doucement le bouton du
thermostat dans le sens contraire aux aiguilles d'une montre jusqu'à ce que l'appareil s'arrête
• Le thermostat maintiendra automatiquement la pièce à la nouvelle température ambiante
Toute garantie sera annulée en cas de dommages résultant d'une utilisation non conforme à ces
consignes ou toute autre utilisation incorrecte ou traitement abusif.
ARRÊT AUTOMATIQUE DE SÉCURITÉ :
Le radiateur souant Hotshot est muni d'un dispositif de sécurité qui éteint l'appareil en cas de surchaue
accidentelle. Pour remettre l'appareil en marche, procédez comme suit:
• Placez le bouton de réglage dans la position
• Débranchez le radiateur souant et attendez 5 à 10 minutes pour donner à l'appareil le temps de refroidir
• Une fois l'appareil refroidi, rebranchez-le et utilisez-le normalement
NETTOYAGE ET ENTRETIEN :
N'oubliez pas d'éteindre et de débrancher l'appareil avant de le nettoyer.
• Attendez que le radiateur souant ait susamment refroidi
• Nettoyez l'appareil à l'aide d'un chion humide. NE LAISSEZ PAS l'eau pénétrer dans l'appareil
• N'utilisez PAS de savon ou de produits qui pourraient endommager l'extérieur du radiateur
• Laissez sécher susamment longtemps avant de remettre en marche
• Nettoyez régulièrement les entrées et les sorties d'air de l'appareil à l'aide d'un aspirateur
• Lorsque l'appareil de chauage n'est pas utilisé, il est recommandé de le replacer dans son emballage
d'origine
• Ne jetez pas les appareils électriques avec les déchets ménagers non triés, recyclez séparément dans un
centre de collecte.
