4 Handling and use
4.1 Handling
The training equipment in the EN Strenght line have uniform operation. For the En-TreeP line the
operating panel is showed as fig. 6 on page 33.
4.2 Track
1. Orange ON-/OFF button.
2. Display for resistance level: This display displays the set-up resistance level during set-up and
training. If a programmed Chip card with more training units is used and the last Series for this unit is
finished, this display will show the next sequence number or -PC-.
3. Unit of resistance level [N]. 10 [N] ~1 [kgf].
4. “–” key for decreasing the resistance level.
5. “+” key for increasing the resistance level.
6. Next key: Pressing this key will write the data of e.g. an 1RM test to the Chip card. This function only
will operate when a 1RM Chip card is loaded. This key will display the sequence numbers left in a
sequential order.
7. Display for time indication: This display shows the duration of the training alternated with the
duration of the pause between Series. Duration of the training is only displayed when this parameter
is selected instead of number of Repetitions.
8. Unit of time (seconds).
9. Display for the Number of Series and Number of Repetitions. It counts up if time is the target. The
repetition counter counts down, if “Number of Repetitions” is entered during set-up, if the counter
reaches “0” an audible signal sounds. If the session is continued after reaching “0” then the counter
will switch over to counting upwards.
10. “#Rep.” Unit of Repetitions and “S” number of Series.
11. “–” key will decrease the number of repetitions during set-up phase.
12. “+” key will increase the number of repetitions during the set-up phase.
13. “R” key: Pulsing this key will end the current Series and reset the Repetition counter to “0”. If more
Series are programmed, the program of the training unit will enter the Pause phase before the next
Series. If the Reset key is pressed during the last Series for the this unit, the display for the
resistance level will show the sequence number of the next training unit on the Chip card. If pressed
the “R” key when all entered sessions have finished, the resistance level display will show “-PC-”
indicating that one have to return with the Chip card to the personal computer.
14. Chip card LED: if the LED lights, this indicates that the cip card is in use performing a read or write
operation to/from the card.
