Wake Up Your Way
The OttLite Wake Up Your Way Light & Alarm Clock helps you get your day

Product Registration Form
Please complete the enclosed Product Registration Form and return it
today by mail, or register online by going to: www.OttLite.com/warranty.
General Instructions
1. Remove Wake Up Light and Alarm Clock from packing placing body
base (A) at on a steady surface.
2. Connect the AC Adapter input (B) into connector (C) located on the
rear of product.
3. Plug the AC adapter (D) into a standard household 120 V AC outlet.
Note: Only use with the supplied AC adapter to avoid damage or re.
4. Recommended use is 16 inches (40.6 cm) to 20 inches (50.8cm) from
your head, for example on a bedside table.
5. If you share a bedroom with someone else, this person may
unintentionally wake up from the light of the appliance, even though
this person is further removed from the appliance. This is the result of
differences in light sensitivity between people.
6. The power consumption of the appliance is lowest if the radio and the
lamp are turned off.
7. Clean the appliance with a dry or damp soft cloth.
8. Do not use abrasive cleaning agents, pads or cleaning solvents like
alcohol, acetone, etc., as this may damage the surface of the appliance.
9. To fully operate appliance see additional instructions.
Note: For additional stability, user may feel it helpful to hold the unit
with one hand as they operate the unit with the other.

Time Setting
1. Hold push button for 2 seconds and digital display will begin to blink.
2. Press push button again to set HOUR by using the < and >
push buttons.
3. Press push button again to set MINUTES by using the < and >
push buttons.
4. After time has been set, time setting mode will automatically exit after
4 seconds without any action.
Note: In order to change time from AM to PM, you must cycle through
the 12 hours using the < and > push buttons.

Natural Daylight Feature
1. To turn on and off the natural daylight feature, press and hold
the touch button for 2 seconds.
2. To increase or decrease the level of brightness use the and
touch buttons.
Note: Lamp will return to light setting last used unless disconnected
from adapter.
Color Changing Feature
1. To turn on or off the color changing feature, press and hold
the touch button for 2 seconds.
2. Once the color changing feature is activated, it will begin to cycle
through the color spectrum. As colors are cycling, press the touch
button to stop at desired light color. Press the touch button again to
reactivate color changing feature.

Audio Features
Nature Sounds
1. The Wake Up Your Way Light & Alarm Clock has been installed with 6
nature sounds. To listen to nature sounds press and hold the push
button for 2 seconds.
2. Press the push button again to sample all 6 sounds.
3. Press and hold the push button for 2 seconds to turn off nature sounds.

FM Radio
1. Press push button once to turn on or off the radio.
2. Press or push buttons to select the station of your choice or, hold
down or push buttons for approximately 2 seconds to seek radio
frequencies automatically.
Note: Unit is equipped with external antenna for improving radio reception.
Note: After selecting station, digital display will return to time clock after
5 seconds of no action.

Volume
1. To adjust the volume of the FM radio, use the volume and
push buttons.
Auxiliary
1. Use a 3.5mm auxiliary cable (not included) to connect your device
to the unit.
2. Use the device of your choice to select and play music.
Note: If FM radio or nature sounds are on and an auxiliary cord is
connected to a device and is plugged in, AUX will override FM radio
or nature sounds.
USB
1. Unit is equipped with a 5V, 2.1A USB port to charge your devices.
2. Plug in your device with USB cord (not included) and unit will begin
to charge your device.
Note: USB port cannot be used to play music; it is only for charging
devices such as tablets, smart phones, etc.
Battery Backup
1. The unit is equipped with a battery backup that will keep time and
alarm setting in the event power is temporarily lost.
2. Button cell battery CR2032 is preinstalled in the unit. For battery
replacement, turn compartment door until arrows align and door
releases. If necessary, pull fabric tab to remove battery.
3. To attach battery door, align arrows and turn door to lock.
Note: If installing replacement battery, make sure fabric tab inside
compartment is not placed between battery and battery contact.
CAUTION!
This product contains a button battery. If swallowed, it could cause severe
injury or death in just 2 hours. Seek medical attention immediately.
Wake Up Your Way Prole
When you set your wake up prole, you have 3 main options:
•Option 1 - Sound and Light
•Option 2 - Sound only
•Option 3 - Light only
Note: You will be prompted to make selections for sound and light
cycle, but sound and/or light will only employ if the corresponding
option above is selected.
Alarm Setting
1. Press the push button to
switch the alarm on or off. The
corresponding icon appears
on the display when you switch
on the alarm. It disappears
when you switch off the alarm.
2. To set alarm time, press and hold
push button for 2 seconds. The
digital display will begin to blink
prompting you to set the time
you would like to wake up to.
Begin by setting the hour using
the < and > push buttons. Once
hour has been set, press push
button again and the minutes
will begin blinking prompting
you to set. Use the same < and
> push buttons to select the
desired minute.
3. Once the alarm time is set,
press push button again to
select your wake up sound. You
have 8 sounds to choose from,
use the < and > push buttons
to make your selection.
Note: When selecting your wake
up sound, the volume can be
adjusted to desired level.

c. FM Radio #8 - Note: If FM radio
has been selected for wake up
sound, the last station played will
be used when alarm sounds.
Note: Although you have
selected a wake up sound in this
step, you will be able to override
this selection when choosing

4. Once the sound has been selected, press push button again to
select your Wake Up Your Way prole. You have 3 options to choose
from, use the < and > push buttons to make your selection:
•Option 1 - Sound and Light
•Option 2 - Sound only
•Option 3 - Light only
5. Once your Wake Up Your Way prole has been selected, press push
button again to select your light cycle. You have 3 options to choose
from, use the < and > push buttons to make your selection:
•10 minute cycle
•20 minute cycle
•30 minute cycle
Note: Light cycle will start at lowest light intensity and will continue to
increase gradually until it reaches full intensity at set alarm time.
Example: If alarm time is set for 7:00a.m., and 10 minute cycle has been
selected, the light cycle will start at 6:50a.m. and nish at 7:00a.m.
6. To complete Alarm setting, either press push button again or after
10 seconds of no action, the unit will exit out of alarm setting mode
with settings saved.
Note: If using Natural Daylight feature for alarm setting, you will need to
manually turn off the light by pressing touch button. Pressing the
push button will not turn the light feature off.
Snooze Feature
1. When alarm sound is going off you can press the push button to
snooze for 10 minutes. A icon will appear on the digital display
to indicate snooze feature activation. After 10 minutes the alarm
will begin sounding again.
2. Press push button if you would like to deactivate snooze feature
and turn the alarm off.
Note: If alarm sound is going off and no action is made, it will
automatically turn off after 1 hour.
Dimming Digital Display
1. Press and hold down the push button for 3 seconds to dim
digital display.
2. Press and hold down the push button again for 3 seconds
to resume digital display to full brightness.
Go-To-Sleep Timer
1. To activate the Go-To-Sleep Timer begin by turning on any of the
following functions;
•Natural daylight light
•Nature sounds
•FM Radio - If selected, display must default back to time reading
before Go-To-Sleep Timer can be engaged.
Note: You have the option to turn on both the natural daylight light
and sound (nature sounds or FM radio).
2. Press push button to activate the Go-To-Sleep Timer. The display
icon will begin to blink.
3. Press push button to select your Go-To-Sleep cycle. Your options
are as follows:
•10 minute cycle
•20 minute cycle
•30 minute cycle
Note: After selecting a time cycle, the digital display will return to time
clock after 5 seconds of no action. Natural Daylight light and sound (if
chosen) will automatically shut off after time cycle completed.
Note: To turn off the Go-To-Sleep Timer before the selected cycle is
completed, you must manually turn off the natural daylight light and/or
sound if operating.

7. Do not block any ventilation openings. Install in accordance with the
manufacturer’s instructions.

9. Do not defeat the safety purpose of the polarized or grounding-type
plug. A polarized plug has two blades with one wider than the other.
A grounding type plug has two blades and a third grounding prong.
The wide blade or the third prong are provided for your safety. If the
provided plug does not t into your outlet, consult an electrician for
replacement of the obsolete outlet.
10. Protect the power cord from being walked on or pinched particularly
at plugs, convenience receptacles, and the point where they exit from
the apparatus.
11. Only use attachments/accessories specied by the manufacturer.
12. Unplug this apparatus during lightning storms or when unused for long
periods of time.
13. Never use the appliance if the lamp housing is damaged, broken
or missing.
14. Do not look directly at lighted lamp.
15. Water and electricity are a dangerous combination. Do not use this
appliance in wet surroundings (e.g. in the bathroom or near a shower
or swimming pool).
16. This appliance is only intended for household use.
17. Refer all servicing to qualied service personnel. Servicing is required
when the apparatus has been damaged in any way, such as power-
supply cord or plug is damaged, liquid has been spilled or objects
have fallen into the apparatus, the apparatus has been exposed to
rain or moisture, does not operate normally, or has been dropped.
NOTE: The important safety instructions appearing in this instruction
