1. SCOPE
Thank you for your purchase. This product instruction manual contains
information about the proper use of the EVERLOC+™ XL expander tool. To
receive maximum performance and satisfaction from your EVERLOC+ XL
expander tool, and to reduce the risk of injury or property damage from its
use, it is important that you read, understand and follow the instructions and
warnings found in this manual.
The EVERLOC+ XL expander tool is designed exclusively for the assembly
and installation of the EVERLOC+ compression-sleeve system. This tool is
intended to be used with the EVERLOC+ expander heads in sizes 1 1/4 in. to
2 in. The EVERLOC+ compression-sleeve system is designed for use with
RAUPEX
®
PEXa pipe – use for other purposes or with other systems is
prohibited.
For professional use only. Persons using the EVERLOC+ XL expander tool
must be experienced and appropriately licensed professional contractors who
understand the principles and practices associated with the proper installa-
tion of hot- and cold-water potable and hydronic systems.
The information presented in this product instruction manual is intended to
demonstrate the proper use and function of the EVERLOC+ XL expander
tool. Allow only persons who fully understand this manual to operate the
EVERLOC+ XL expander tool. Do not lend or rent the power tool without this
instruction manual.
Nothing in this manual supersedes national or local code requirements or the
recommendations of other manufacturers regarding their components.
Observe all applicable national, state and local laws, regulations, standards,
codes and ordinances. If you believe REHAU product information conicts
with applicable code requirements, industry standards, or the recommenda-
tions of other manufacturers regarding their components, contact the REHAU
distributor in your area and consult with the building authority having
jurisdiction before installing the EVERLOC+ compression-sleeve system.
Before starting the installation process, read the REHAU EVERLOC+
Compression-sleeve System Product Instructions and EVERLOC+ Fitting
System Important Notes for information regarding the assembly of EVER-
LOC+ ttings with this tool.
Proper installation is the responsibility of the installing contractor. Review the
REHAU PEXa Limited Warranty (www.na.rehau.com/warranties) and the
REHAU Technical Guidelines prior to installation of the REHAU crosslinked
polyethylene (PEXa) piping system. REHAU Technical Guidelines are dened
in the REHAU PEXa Limited Warranty as: The most current and applicable
versions of all the technical literature available on the REHAU North America
website at www.na.rehau.com/resourcecenter, including, but not limited to,
technical manuals, instruction guides, technical bulletins, submittals and

This manual contains safety-related information that requires your special

Only trained personnel should operate this power tool. Follow the instructions
in this manual and use common sense to reduce the risk of injury.
WARNING
To reduce the risk of electric shock, re or serious
personal injury, read this instruction manual along with
all warnings and instructions for the battery and charger
before operation.
WARNING
This power tool uses a strong hydraulic force to expand
PEXa pipe and compress components of the REHAU
EVERLOC+ compression-sleeve system.
To reduce the risk of crush and laceration injury, keep
ngers, hands and all parts of your body away from the
expander head during operation. Remove the battery
before attempting to change or adjust the expander
head.
NOTICE
For use only with RAUPEX PEXa pipe and the EVERLOC+ compression-
sleeve tting system. Other materials or ttings may crack or otherwise fail
which could result in leaking and property damage.
Use only REHAU or REHAU-approved expander heads that match the
dimension of the RAUPEX PEXa pipe being installed (e.g., 1 1/2 in. expander
head for 1 1/2 in. pipe). Use of unauthorized attachments or REHAU
attachments that are the wrong size may result in faulty joints, which can
lead to leaking and property damage.
2. POWER TOOL SAFETY WARNINGS
GENERAL POWER TOOL SAFETY WARNINGS
This chapter contains the prescribed, general safety warnings and instruc-
tions for handheld, motor-operated electric power tools. Additional important
warnings and instructions are found in subsequent sections of this manual.
WARNING
- Read all safety warnings and all instructions. Failure to follow the
warnings and instructions may result in electric shock, re and/or serious
injury.
- Save all warnings and instructions for future reference. The term
“power tool” in the warnings refers to your mains-operated (corded) power
tool or battery-operated (cordless) power tool.
WORK AREA SAFETY
- Keep work area clean and well lit. Cluttered or dark areas invite
accidents.

- Do not operate power tools in explosive atmospheres, such as in the
presence of ammable liquids, gases or dust. Power tools create sparks
which may ignite the dust or fumes.
- Keep children and bystanders away while operating a power tool.
Distractions can cause you to lose control.
ELECTRICAL SAFETY
- Power tool plugs must match the outlet. Never modify the plug in any
way. Do not use any adapter plugs with earthed (grounded) power
tools. Unmodied plugs and matching outlets will reduce the risk of electric
shock.
- Avoid body contact with earthed or grounded surfaces such as pipes,
radiators, ranges and refrigerators. There is an increased risk of electric
shock if your body is earthed or grounded.
- Do not expose power tools to rain or wet conditions. Water entering a
power tool will increase the risk of electric shock.
- Do not abuse the cord. Never use the cord for carrying, pulling or
unplugging the power tool. Keep cord away from heat, oil, sharp
edges or moving parts. Damaged or entangled cords increase the risk of
electric shock.
- When operating a power tool outdoors, use an extension cord suitable
for outdoor use. Use of a cord suitable for outdoor use reduces the risk of
electric shock.
PERSONAL SAFETY
- Stay alert, watch what you are doing and use common sense when
operating a power tool. Do not use a power tool while you are tired or
under the inuence of drugs, alcohol or medication. A moment of
inattention while operating power tools may result in serious personal injury.
- Use personal protective equipment. Always wear eye protection.
Protective equipment such as dust mask, non-skid safety shoes, hard hat,
or hearing protection used for appropriate conditions will reduce personal
injuries.
- Prevent unintentional starting. Ensure the switch is in the off position
before connecting to power source and/or battery pack, picking up or
carrying the tool. Carrying power tools with your nger on the switch or
energizing power tools that have the switch on invites accidents.
- Remove any adjusting key or wrench before turning the power tool
on. A wrench or a key left attached to a rotating part of the power tool may
result in personal injury.
- Do not overreach. Keep proper footing and balance at all times. This
enables better control of the power tool in unexpected situations.
- Dress properly. Do not wear loose clothing or jewelry. Keep your hair,
clothing and gloves away from moving parts. Loose clothes, jewelry or
long hair can be caught in moving parts.
- If devices are provided for the connection of dust extraction and
collection facilities, ensure these are connected and properly used.
Use of dust collection can reduce dust-related hazards.
- Do not let familiarity gained from frequent use of tools allow you to
become complacent and ignore tool safety principles. A careless action
can cause severe injury within a fraction of a second.
POWER TOOL USE AND CARE
- Do not force the power tool. Use the correct power tool for your
application. The correct power tool will do the job better and safer at the
rate for which it was designed.
- Do not use the power tool if the switch does not turn it on and off. Any
power tool that cannot be controlled with the switch is dangerous and must
be repaired.
- Disconnect the plug from the power source and/or the battery pack
from the power tool before making any adjustments, changing
accessories, or storing power tools. Such preventive safety measures
reduce the risk of starting the power tool accidentally.
- Store idle power tools out of the reach of children and do not allow
persons unfamiliar with the power tool or these instructions to
operate the power tool. Power tools are dangerous in the hands of
untrained users.
- Maintain power tools. Check for misalignment or binding of moving
parts, breakage of parts and any other condition that may affect the
power tool’s operation. If damaged, have the power tool repaired before
use. Many accidents are caused by poorly maintained power tools.
- Keep cutting tools sharp and clean. Properly maintained cutting tools
with sharp cutting edges are less likely to bind and are easier to control.
- Use the power tool, accessories and tool bits, etc. in accordance with
these instructions, taking into account the working conditions and the
work to be performed. Use of the power tool for operations different from
those intended could result in a hazardous situation.
- Keep handles and grasping surfaces dry, clean and free from oil and
grease. Slippery handles and grasping surfaces do not allow for safe
handling and control of the tool in unexpected situations.
BATTERY TOOL USE AND CARE
- Recharge only with the charger specied by the manufacturer.
A charger that is suitable for one type of battery pack may create a risk of
re when used with another battery pack.
- Use power tools only with specically designated battery packs. Use
of any other battery packs may create a risk of injury and re.
- When battery pack is not in use, keep it away from other metal
objects, like paper clips, coins, keys, nails, screws, or other small
metal objects, that can make a connection from one terminal to
another. Shorting the battery terminals together may cause burns or a re.
- Under abusive conditions, liquid may be ejected from the battery;
avoid contact. If contact accidentally occurs, ush with water. If
liquid contacts eyes, additionally seek medical help. Liquid ejected from
the battery may cause irritation or burns.
SERVICE
- Have your power tools serviced by a qualied repair person using
only identical replacement parts. This will ensure that the safety of the
power tool is maintained.
ADDITIONAL WARNINGS FOR EVERLOC+ XL EXPANDER TOOL
WARNING
- Risk of electric shock. Never operate the power tool in damp or wet
conditions – never expose to rain or submerge in water or other liquids.
Never operate the power tool near wires or cables carrying electric current.
- Always wear close-tting protective eyewear that is impact-rated with
side protection to reduce the risk of permanent eye injury.
- Always check your power tool and its attachments for proper condi-
tion before starting work. Using a power tool that is modied, damaged,
improperly adjusted or maintained, or not completely and securely
assembled can increase the risk of severe personal injury or a faulty joint
and property damage.
- The power tool is designed for one-handed operation. Wrap your
ngers tightly around the control handle as shown in this manual and
keep a secure grasp on the tool during work. Loss of control can lead to
injuries.
- Use only your index nger to trigger the tool. Using other ngers to
trigger the tool may cause you to lose control of the power tool or increase
the risk of personal injury, including pinch injuries.
- Moving parts can crush and cut. Keep hands and ngers clear of the
expander head while operating.
- Keep hands and other parts of your body away from the expander
head during operation to reduce the risk of injury. Avoid wearing bulky
gloves that may make handling the tool awkward or difcult.
- To reduce the risk of unintended activation, remove the battery before
changing or adjusting the expander head. Pinching ngers or trapping
other parts of your body in the expander head can result in serious crush
and cut injuries.
- For use only with REHAU or REHAU-authorized accessories or
attachments. Although certain unauthorized accessories and attachments
may t onto the power tool, their use may, in fact, be extremely dangerous
and result in personal injury and faulty joints, which can lead to leaking and
property damage.
- For proper installation, the expander head must match the dimension
of the RAUPEX PEXa pipe being installed. Failure to mount the proper
size expander head before installing a tting may be dangerous and also
result in a faulty joint, which can lead to leaking and property damage.
- For use only with RAUPEX PEXa pipe and the EVERLOC+ compres-
sion-sleeve tting system. Other materials or ttings may crack or
otherwise fail, which could result in leaking and substantial property
damage.
- If your power tool or any part is damaged or does not function
properly, have it repaired by an authorized REHAU service center.
There are no user-authorized repairs for the battery, charger or power tool.
Do not use the power tool until the problem has been corrected.

- To reduce the risk of personal injury from accidental activation of the
power tool, always remove the battery pack before changing attach-
ments, inspecting, cleaning, lubricating or performing any other type
of maintenance, inspection, repair or cleaning.
- Follow all charging instructions and do not charge the battery pack or
tool outside the temperature range specied in the instructions.
Charging improperly or at temperatures outside the specied range may
damage the battery and increase the risk of re.
- Do not expose the battery pack or tool to re or excessive tempera-
ture. Exposure to re or temperature above 265°F (130°C) may cause
explosion.
- Do not use a battery pack or tool that is damaged or modied.
Damaged or modied batteries may exhibit unpredictable behavior,
resulting in re, explosion or increased risk of injury.
- Never service damaged battery packs. Service of battery packs should
only be performed by the manufacturer or authorized service providers.
- Do not operate the power tool while under the inuence of any
substance (drug, alcohol, medication, etc.) that might impair vision,
balance, dexterity or judgment.
- Working with a power tool can be strenuous. The operator must be in
good physical condition. To reduce the risk of injury from loss of control, be
alert. Do not operate the power tool when tired. Take a break if you become
tired. Always hold the tool rmly while working as directed in the instruction
manual.
- Make sure you have good balance and secure footing at all times. Use
caution when working from a ladder or other elevated platform. Do not
overreach.

This tool is intended to be used with EVERLOC+ expander heads in sizes
1 1/4 in. to 2 in. The following safety symbols are found on the power tool.
Safety Alert Symbol – To reduce the risk of injury, follow
the specied safety instructions.
Read and follow all safety precautions in the instruction
manual. Improper use can lead to serious personal injury
or property damage.
To reduce the risk of serious eye injury, always wear
proper eye protection.
Risk of electric shock. Never operate the power tool in
damp or wet conditions. Never expose to rain or sub-
merge in water or other liquids. Never operate the power
tool near wires or cables carrying electric current.
To reduce the risk of severe personal injury, including
crush and laceration injury, keep ngers, hands and all
parts of your body away from the expander head during
operation.

5. TOOL DIAGNOSTICS
Checking the Tool Status
The red LED together with the electronic control system provide information about the battery charge levels and the tool.
LED Length/Time Information Cause
2x Self-test If the red LED ashes two times after the battery is inserted, the electronic control
has performed its self-test satisfactorily. To repeat the self test, remove the battery,
press the operating trigger, then insert a battery into the tool.
20s Battery is empty If the red LED displays a steady light for about 20 seconds after a work operation,
the battery is empty and needs to be charged.
20s Service If the red LED slowly ashes for about 20 seconds upon completion of a work
slow ash operation, the tool needs to be serviced. The tool should be sent to a REHAU
authorized service center before use.
20s+ Battery is empty If the red LED lights up for 20 seconds and then ashes, the battery is empty and the
20s slow ash Service tool also needs to be serviced. The tool should be sent to a REHAU authorized service
center before use.
20s rapid ash Overheating If the red LED ashes rapidly for about 20 seconds, the tool is overheated. Allow the
device to cool for at least 15 minutes before resuming operation.
Charging the Battery
WARNING
To reduce the risk of re, electric shock, or other personal injury, operate the charger indoors only, in dry rooms within an ambient temperature range of 50°F
to 104°F (10°C to 40°C). Read and follow all warnings and instructions for the battery and charger before operation.
6. USING THE TOOL
WARNING
To reduce the risk of permanent eye injury, always wear
close-tting protective eyewear with side protection.
Eyewear must be impact-rated and marked as complying
with ANSI Z87.1.
1. Check the tool and all of its components for damage or visible wear
prior to every use. Never use a tool or attachment that is worn, damaged,
or modied. (Note: expander head(s) sold separately).
2. Remove battery before assembling the tool. Release the battery by
pressing the button and sliding it out of the battery guide at the base of the
tool.
WARNING
To reduce the risk of serious personal injury from accidental activation of
the power tool:
- Always remove the battery pack before mounting or changing the
expander head.

3. Lock expander head into position. Make certain expander head secures
with an audible click.
WARNING
Moving parts can crush and cut. This power tool uses a strong hydraulic
force to expand RAUPEX PEXa pipe. To reduce the risk of serious
personal injury during operation:
- Never touch the expander head during operation.
- Keep hands and other parts of your body away from the expander head
during operation.
WARNING
The power tool is designed for one-handed operation. To reduce the risk
of personal injury:
- Wrap the ngers of your trigger hand tightly around the control handle.
- Keep a secure grasp during work.
- Never grasp or support the power tool near the expander head.
- Use only your index nger to trigger the tool. Using other ngers to
trigger the tool may cause you to lose control of the power tool or cause
ngers to move toward moving parts.
4. To insert the battery, push it completely into the foot of the tool housing
until it locks into position
NOTICE
For use only with Makita batteries BL1830B, BL1840B or BL1850B.
5. Press the operating trigger for expansion. The power tool is designed
for one-handed operation. Wrap your ngers tightly around the control
handle as shown below and keep a secure grasp on the tool during work.
WARNING
Improper handling of the power tool can increase the risk of pinch or crush
injury. The tool is designed for one-handed operation and there are no
gripping surfaces outside of the control handle. To reduce the risk of
serious personal injury:
- Wrap your ngers tightly around the control handle as shown in this
manual.
- Keep a secure grasp on the tool during work.
- Use only your index nger to trigger the tool. Using other ngers to
trigger the tool may cause you to lose control of the power tool or
increase risk of personal injury, including pinch injuries.
- Keep hands away from the expander head during operation.
6. To expand RAUPEX pipe, fully insert expander head into the end of the
pipe. Be sure to expand pipe twice, ensuring the expander head is rotated
1/2 of one expander head segment between expansions.
7. To release the hydraulic pressure and return the tool to its starting
position, press the release button.
WARNING
In the event of a pinch, release the hydraulic pressure with the release
button.
8. Always return the tool to the starting position and remove the battery
before installing/removing the expander head.
WARNING
To reduce the risk of personal injury from accidental activation of the
power tool, always remove the battery pack before changing or adjusting
the expander head and before performing any other type of inspection,
maintenance or cleaning.

7. FITTING ASSEMBLY
Before starting the installation process, read the REHAU
EVERLOC+ Compression-sleeve System Product Instructions for instruc-
tions regarding the assembly of EVERLOC+ ttings with this tool.
8. OPERATING AND WORKING CONDITIONS
NOTICE
- The sound of the relief valve and the piston automatically retracting
indicates a completed cycle. If you do not hear the sound of the relief valve,
or if the piston does not retract, remove the battery and inspect the
assembled joint. If the condition does not resolve after adjustment, have
the tool repaired by an authorized REHAU service center before use.
- To prevent the motor from overheating, let the tool rest for at least 15
minutes after approximately 50 consecutive cycles.
- Keep the tool, battery and charger away from moisture, extreme heat and
harsh detergents or solvents.
- Never operate the power tool in damp or wet conditions. Never operate it in
the rain or allow it to be submerged in water or other liquids.
- Never operate the power tool near wires or cables carrying electric current.
- Never operate the power tool in extreme hot or cold conditions. Operating
at temperatures below 14°F (-10°C) and above 104°F (40°C) may result in
damage to the power tool.
- Operate the charger indoors only, in dry rooms within an ambient tempera-
ture range of 50°F to 104°F (10°C to 40°C).
NOTICE
To reduce the risk of property damage from a faulty joint:
- Never use a damaged expander head,which could damage the pipe and
result in leaks and property damage.
- Properly rotate the power tool after the rst pipe expansion. Failing to do so
may result in a faulty joint, which could leak and result in property damage.
- Use only with REHAU or REHAU-authorized attachments of the proper
size for the RAUPEX PEXa pipe (e.g., 1 1/2 in. expander head for 1 1/2 in.
pipe). Using an unauthorized attachment or an attachment of the wrong
size may result in a faulty joint, which could leak and lead to property
damage.
- Read the REHAU EVERLOC+ Compression-sleeve System Product
Instructions and all REHAU Technical Guidelines before starting the
installation process.
- Operate, charge and store the tool within the recommended temperature
range to prevent damage and reduce the risk of malfunction and potential
injury or property damage
9. INSPECTION, MAINTENANCE, CLEANING,
TRANSPORTATION AND STORAGE
WARNING
To reduce the risk of serious personal injury from accidental activation of the
power tool:

Maintenance
- Lubricate the expansion cone regularly with the grease included in the
standard kit. Prevent grease from entering the pipe being installed. Avoid
over-lubricating the expansion cone. Do not apply grease to the expander
head segments. Should excess grease reach the outer surface of any
segment, the segment must be thoroughly cleaned with a de-greasing
cleaning solvent and then dried.
- Replace on-product labels that are worn, damaged, or missing. Contact
your local REHAU sales ofce for replacement labels.
Cleaning
- Keep the expander heads and the other components of the power tool
clean. When soiled, clean with a brush or cloth.
Transportation
- Transport and store in the tool case supplied. Keep an expander head
mounted on the expansion adapter to reduce the risk of damage, injury or
contamination.
Storage
- When not in use, the power tool and its accessories should be stored
indoors in a dry, locked place. To help prevent damage, store the power
tool and accessories in the tool case supplied.
- Store the tool in the fully retracted position to extend its service life and with
an expander head mounted on the expansion adapter to reduce the risk of
damage, injury or contamination.
- Never store the tool if wet. Dry the tool and properly lubricate it before
storing.
- Store the accessories in the tool case supplied to minimize the risk of
damage.

To reduce the risk of damage, never store the tool, battery, or charger below
-4°F (-20°C) or above 122°F (50°C).

ciones y advertencias importantes adicionales.
ADVERTENCIA

SEGURIDAD ELÉCTRICA

SEGURIDAD PERSONAL

- Cuando el paquete de baterías no está en uso, manténgalo alejado de
otros objetos metálicos, como ganchos para papel, monedas, llaves,
clavos, tornillos u otros objetos metálicos pequeños, que puedan
establecer conexión de un terminal a otro. Provocar un cortocircuito
entre los terminales de la batería puede causar quemaduras o incendio.

ADVERTENCIA

5. DIAGNÓSTICOS DE LA HERRAMIENTA
Vericación del estado de la herramienta
La luz led de color rojo junto con el sistema de control electrónico ofrece información acerca de los niveles de carga de la batería y la herramienta.

Carga de la batería

6. USO DE LA HERRAMIENTA
ADVERTENCIA

siempre use gafas protectoras ajustadas con protección
lateral. Las gafas deben contar con clasicación para
impactos y deben tener la marca de cumplimiento de la
norma ANSI Z87.1.
1. Revise la herramienta y todos sus componentes para detectar daños o
desgaste visible antes de cada uso. Nunca use herramientas ni acopla-
mientos desgastados, dañados o modicados. (Nota: Los cabezales
expansores se venden por separado.)
2. Retire la batería antes del montaje de la herramienta. Libere la batería
presionando el botón y deslizándola fuera de la guía de la batería en la
base de la herramienta.

6. Para expandir el tubo RAUPEX, coloque el cabezal expansor completa-

segmento del cabezal expansor entre expansiones.
7. Para liberar la presión hidráulica y regresar la herramienta a su
posición inicial, presione el botón de liberación.

8. Siempre regrese la herramienta a la posición inicial y retire la batería
antes de instalar/retirar el cabezal expansor.

7. MONTAJE DE ACCESORIOS
Antes de comenzar el proceso de instalación, lea
las Instrucciones de los productos para el sistema de casquillo de compre-
sión EVERLOC+ de REHAU para conocer las indicaciones sobre el montaje
de los accesorios EVERLOC+ con esta herramienta.
8. CONDICIONES DE FUNCIONAMIENTO Y USO
AVISO
- El sonido de la válvula de seguridad y el pistón retrayéndose automática-
mente indica un ciclo completado. Si no oye el sonido de la válvula de
seguridad, o si el pistón no se retrae, retire la batería y revise la junta del
montaje. Si la condición no se resuelve luego de ajustar, ordene la
reparación de la herramienta en un centro de servicio autorizado de
REHAU antes de usar.
- Para evitar que el motor se recaliente, deje reposar la herramienta al
menos durante 15 minutos luego de aproximadamente 50 ciclos
consecutivos.
- Mantenga la herramienta, la batería y el cargador alejados de la humedad,
el exceso de calor y los solventes o detergentes corrosivos.
- Nunca opere la herramienta eléctrica en condiciones húmedas o mojadas.
Nunca opere la herramienta bajo la lluvia ni permita que se sumerja en
agua u otros líquidos.
- Nunca opere la herramienta eléctrica cerca de cables con corriente
eléctrica.
- Nunca opere la herramienta eléctrica en condiciones de calor o frío
extremos. Utilizar la herramienta eléctrica a temperaturas inferiores a 14
°F (-10 °C) y superiores a 104 °F (40 °C) puede dañarla.
- Manipule el cargador solamente bajo techo, en lugares secos y con una
temperatura ambiente entre 50 °F y 104 °F (10 °C y 40 °C).
AVISO

segmentos del cabezal expansor. En caso de que haya demasiada grasa
en la supercie exterior de algún segmento, se lo debe limpiar minuciosa-
mente con solvente desengrasante y luego dejar secar.
- Reemplace las etiquetas desgastadas, dañadas o faltantes que se
encuentran en los productos. Comuníquese con su ocina de ventas local
de REHAU para obtener las etiquetas de reemplazo.
Limpieza
- Mantenga limpios los cabezales expansores y demás componentes de la
herramienta eléctrica. Cuando se ensucien, limpie con un cepillo o un
trapo.

sion EVERLOC+ XL, et an de réduire le risque de blessure ou de dom-
mages matériels lors de son utilisation, il est important que vous lisiez,
compreniez et suiviez les instructions et avertissements gurant dans ce
manuel.
L’outil d’expansion EVERLOC+ XL est conçu exclusivement pour l’assem-
blage et l’installation du système de manchon à compression EVERLOC+.
Cet outil est conçu pour être utilisé avec les têtes d’expansion EVERLOC+
de 1 1/4 à 2 po. Le système de manchon à compression EVERLOC+ est
conçu pour être utilisé avec un tuyau en PEXa RAUPEX
MD
; il est interdit de
l’utiliser à d’autres ns ou avec d’autres systèmes.
Pour utilisation professionnelle uniquement. Les personnes qui utilisent l’outil
d’expansion EVERLOC+ XL doivent être des entrepreneurs professionnels
expérimentés et détenant un permis approprié, qui comprennent les
principes et pratiques associés à la bonne installation de systèmes hydro-
niques et d’eau potable chaude et froide.
Les informations présentées dans ce manuel d’instruction ont pour but
d’expliquer la bonne utilisation et le bon fonctionnement de l’outil d’expansion

composants du système de manchon à compression

An de réduire le risque de blessure par écrasement et
lacération, gardez vos doigts, vos mains et toute autre
partie de votre corps éloignés de la tête d’expansion
pendant l’utilisation de l’outil. Retirez la batterie avant
d’essayer de changer ou de régler la tête d’expansion.
AVIS
Pour utilisation uniquement avec un tuyau en PEXa RAUPEX et le système
de raccords à manchon à compression EVERLOC+. Tout autre matériel ou
raccord risquerait de se ssurer ou de mal fonctionner, ce qui pourrait causer
des fuites et des dommages matériels.
Utilisez uniquement des têtes d’expansion REHAU ou approuvées par
REHAU, correspondant à la dimension du tuyau en PEXa RAUPEX en cours
d’installation (p. ex. une tête d’expansion de 1½ po pour un tuyau de 1½ po).
L’utilisation de pièces et d’accessoires non autorisés ou de pièces et
d’accessoires REHAU de mauvaise taille peut causer des joints défectueux,
ce qui peut provoquer des fuites et des dommages matériels.
