PRECAUTIONS FOR USE
• Do not block or cover air outlets.
• This product is intended for indoor residential and ofce use only, not for industrial or other commercial application.
• Do not plug anything additional into the same circuit.
• If you have any questions whether your wiring is adequate, consult a qualied electrician. Risk of re, overheating,
malfunction, property damage, injury or even death may result if not adhered to.
• Always use your heater with a working smoke detector located in the vicinity of your heater
ELECTRICAL SPECIFICATIONS AND POWER CORD
Check to ensure that the electrical service being used is adequate for the model you’ve chosen. The electrical rating of your
new heater is dened on the serial sticker on the unit. Please refer to the rating when checking electrical requirements to
ensure they meet the electrical codes of your location.
When using electrical appliances, basic precautions should always be followed to reduce the risk of re, electric shock and
injury to persons,including:
• Read all the instructions before using this heater
• Do not use this heater if it malfunctions or is dropped or damaged in any manner.
• Do not use this heater outdoors. Do not place on or near a hot gas, electric burner, a microwave, or a heated oven.
• To protect against re, electric shock or injury, do not place cord, plug, or unit in water or other liquid.
• The wrong use conflicting with the safeguards voids the customer of the right for warranty service.
• Do not modify any part of this product.
• Do not insert any objects into the product or block the airflow in any way.
• Ensure that the power supply you use has an appropriate voltage rating.
• If the electrical outlet you intend to use is not adequately grounded or protected by a time delay fuse or circuit breaker,
you should have a qualied electrician install the proper outlet.
• Do not use this unit with any extension cords or adapter plugs.

• Turn the unit off and unplug, when cleaning the heater or when the heater will not be used for an extended time period.
• When overheating should occur the built-in overheating safety device will shut the unit off.
• Do not place the heater on a small, unlevel, uneven or any surface which might allow heater to tip or fall.
• For proper operation, heater should be placed on a smooth,non-combustible surface. Do not place on rugs, carpet, vinyl
flooring or other plastic surfaces. Not for use outdoors or in wet areas.
• Never use with an extension cord
• Do not run power cord under carpeting. Do not cover cord with throw rugs, runners or similar coverings. Arrange cord
away from trafc area where it will not be tripped over.
• Do not insert or allow foreign objects to enter any ventilation or exhaust opening as this may cause an electric shock or
re or damage the heater.
• To prevent a possible re, do not block air intakes or exhaust in any manner. Do not use on soft surfaces like a bed,
where openings may become blocked.
