COMPATIBILITY

This photoelectric smoke detector works with the Smart Bridge

and the ICS-2000 to give additional functionality like receiving

push notiﬁcations when smoke is detected. NOTE: For receiving

push notiﬁcations, a fully working internet connection is required.

PLACING THE SMOKE DETECTOR

• Place the detector on the ceiling. In case of a sloped ceiling, place

90 cm from the highest point.

• To ensure that the sound can be clearly heard in bedrooms, the

smoke detector must be placed no further than 3 meters from a

bedroom door.

• It is recommended to install a smoke detector on every ﬂoor of

your home

• Place the detector at least 2m away from cooking appliances

• Relocate the unit if it produces frequent false alarms

• Do not place the smoke detector near exhaust fans or air-

conditioning systems as they can prevent smoke from reaching

the smoke detector

• Avoid placing the detector in bathrooms and other very humid

or dusty places

• Always comply with the local regulations for installation in

buildings.

TESTING AND USAGE

• Always test the detector using the test mode after placement

and after that once a week.

• Test the detector once a week. Replace the detector immediately

when the test fails.

• Replace the battery immediately when the detector is indicating

battery low. (up to 3-year battery life)

• Clean the detector once a month with a soft brush

• Never use water, cleaners or solvents to clean the detector since

they may damage the unit.

• If the detector is damaged replace it immediately.

• The smoke detector will not alert hearing impaired residents. It is

recommended to install special smoke detectors to alert hearing

impaired residents.

• Never use an open ﬂame of any kind to test this unit. You might

accidentally damage or set ﬁre to the unit or to your home.

• Use only a CR123A 3.0V Lithium Battery. Other batteries may

cause unreliable operation.

• Removal of the battery will render this alarm inoperative

• Press test button to check operation after replacing the battery.

1. REMOVE BATTERY PULL STRIP

A Remove the detector from the mounting bracket by twisting it.

B Remove the battery pull strip by pulling it from the detector.

Only after removing the pull strip the detector can be used.

2. INDICATORS

The detector contains a LED indicator to show the status of the

detector. Please see below the meaning of the dierent LED

indications.

LED FUNCTION TABLE

Connection mode LED will ﬂash fast for approximately 1 min.

Connected successfully LED will light up for 3 sec (The App will also

indicate when the connection is successful)

Detector reset LED will ﬂash 6x

Detector alarm LED will ﬂash and detector will sound (85db). To

stop the detector alarm press the Test/Stop button

Detector operation LED will ﬂash once every 53 sec to indicate the

detector is operating correctly

Battery low indication LED will ﬂash once and gives one beep every

53 sec

3. DOWNLOAD APP

To connect the detector with a

Smart Bridge or ICS-2000, ﬁrst

get the App by scanning the QR

code or go to trust.com/Zigbee

and install it.

4. CONNECT DETECTOR

A In the App, select a room,

press the + button and

choose Trust Zigbee line/

Smoke detector and follow the

instructions. For manual set up

of push-notiﬁcations go to the

rules tab, press the + button

and select notiﬁcation wizard.

5. MOUNT THE DETECTOR

A Mount the bracket of the

detector on a ﬂat surface on

the ceiling and secure it with

the included screws.

B 1 Place the detector on the

mounting bracket.

2 Secure the detector by

twisting it on the bracket

to lock it.

6. TEST MODE

Activate the test mode of the

detector to check the operation

by pressing the Test/Stop

button. The LED will ﬂash fast

and the detector will sound.

RESET DETECTOR AND

ACTIVATE CONNECT MODE

Warning: This step will

disconnect the detector from

the Smart Bridge or the ICS-

2000. To reset the detector

press the button in the hole

at the side for approximately 5

sec with the included pin. The

LED will ﬂash 6x to conﬁrm

the reset.

Activate connect mode: After

resetting the detector you can

activate the connect mode by

pressing the button in the

hole on the side for approx.

2 sec. The LED will ﬂash fast

for 1 minute to indicate the

connection mode.

REPLACE BATTERY

A Open the battery

compartment by removing

the detector from the

bracket.

B Remove the empty battery

and insert a new 3V

CR123A lithium battery in

the compartment. Note

the positive and negative

polarity.

C Lock the detector back

on the bracket. Test if the

battery is placed correctly

by activating the test mode.

(See step 6).

KOMPATIBILITÄT

Dieser photoelektrische Rauchmelder funktioniert mit der Smart

Bridge und der ICS-2000 und bietet zusätzliche Funktionalität, wie

z. B. den Empfang von Push-Benachrichtigungen, wenn Rauch

erkannt wird. HINWEIS: Eine funktionierende Internetverbindung ist

Voraussetzung für den Empfang von Push-Benachrichtigungen.

ANBRINGUNG DES RAUCHMELDERS

• Positionieren Sie den Melder an der Decke. Bei einer schrägen

Decke, bringen Sie ihn 90 cm vom höchsten Punkt entfernt an.

• Damit der Ton deutlich im Schlafzimmer zu hören ist, darf der

Rauchmelder höchstens 3 m von einer Schlafzimmertür entfernt sein.

• Es wird empfohlen, auf jeder Etage Ihres Hauses einen Rauchmelder

zu installieren.

• Positionieren Sie den Melder mindestens 2 m entfernt von

Kochgeräten.

• Wenn das Gerät häuﬁg Fehlalarme erzeugt, muss es umgesetzt

werden.

• Positionieren Sie den Rauchmelder nicht in der Nähe von

Abluftgebläsen oder Klimaanlagen, da diese unter Umständen

verhindern, dass Rauch den Rauchmelder erreicht.

• Der Rauchmelder sollte nicht im Badezimmer oder an anderen sehr

feuchten oder staubigen Orten angebracht werden.

• Die lokalen Bestimmungen für Installationen in Gebäuden müssen

stets eingehalten werden.

TESTEN UND BENUTZUNG

• Der Melder muss unmittelbar nach Einbau und danach einmal pro

Woche mit dem Testmodus getestet werden.

• Testen Sie den Melder einmal pro Woche. Ersetzen Sie den Melder

sofort, wenn der Test fehlschlägt.

• Ersetzen Sie die Batterie unverzüglich, wenn der Melder anzeigt,

dass die Batterie schwach ist (bis zu 3 Stunden Batterielaufzeit).

• Reinigen Sie den Melder einmal pro Monat mit einer weichen Bürste.

• Verwenden Sie für die Reinigung des Melders auf keinen Fall

Wasser, Reinigungsmittel oder Lösungsmittel, da diese das Gerät

beschädigen können.

• Ersetzen Sie den Melder sofort, wenn er beschädigt ist.

• Schwerhörige Personen können den Alarm des Rauchmelders

nicht wahrnehmen. Es wird empfohlen, spezielle Rauchmelder für

schwerhörige Personen zu installieren.

• Testen Sie das Gerät auf keinen Fall mit einer oenen Flamme. Sie

könnten das Gerät oder Ihre Wohnung versehentlich beschädigen

oder in Brand setzen.

• Verwenden Sie nur eine CR123A 3,0 V Lithiumbatterie. Andere

Batterien ermöglichen keinen zuverlässigen Betrieb.

• Wenn die Batterie entfernt wird, funktioniert das Gerät nicht mehr

• Überprüfen Sie nach jedem Batteriewechsel die Funktion (mit der

Test-Taste).

1. BATTERIEZUGSTREIFEN ENTFERNEN

A Drehen Sie den Melder aus der Montagehalterung.

B Entfernen Sie den Batterie-Zugstreifen, indem Sie ihn aus dem

Melder ziehen. Der Melder kann erst nach Entfernung des

Zugstreifens verwendet werden.

2. ANZEIGEN

Der Melder besitzt eine LED-Anzeige, die den Status des Melders

anzeigt. Die Bedeutung der verschiedenen LED-Anzeigen ist unten

beschrieben.

LEDFUNKTIONSTABELLE

Verbindungsmodus LED blinkt ca. 1 Minute lang schnell

Erfolgreich verbunden LED leuchtet ca. 3 Sekunden lang (auch die App

zeigt an, wenn die Verbindung erfolgreich war).

Melder-Reset LED blinkt sechsmal

Melderalarm LED blinkt und der Melder ertönt (85 dB).

Unterbrechen Sie den Melderalarm mit der Test-/

Stopp-Taste

Melder in Betrieb LED blinkt einmal alle 53 Sekunden als Zeichen

dafür, dass der Meldung ordnungsgemäß arbeitet

Batteriestandsanzeige LED blinkt einmal und alle 53 Sekunden ertönt

ein Signalton

3. HERUNTERLADEN DER APP

Wenn Sie den Melder mit einer

Smart Bridge oder der

ICS-2000 verwenden, rufen Sie

die App ab, indem Sie den QR-

Code scannen oder laden Sie

sie direkt von trust.com/Zigbee

herunter und installieren Sie

sie.

4. VERBINDEN DES MELDERS

A Wählen Sie in der App

einen Raum, drücken Sie

auf die Taste + und wählen

Sie Trust Zigbee-Sortiment/

Rauchmelder, um dann den

Anweisungen zu folgen. Für

die manuelle Einrichtung von

Push-Benachrichtigungen

wechseln Sie zur Registerkarte

Regeln, drücken die + Taste

und wählen den Benach-

richtigungsassistenten aus.

5. MONTAGE DES MELDERS

A Bringen Sie die Halterung

des Melders auf einer

ebenen Oberﬂäche an der

Decke an und schrauben Sie

ihn mit den mitgelieferten

Schrauben fest.

B 1 Positionieren Sie den

Melder an der Halterung.

2 Sichern Sie den Melder,

indem Sie ihn in die

Halterung drehen und dort

verriegeln.

6. TESTMODUS

Zur Überprüfung der

Funktionstüchtigkeit des

Melders aktivieren Sie den

Testmodus, indem Sie die

Test-/Stopp-Taste drücken.

Die LED blinkt schnell und das

akustische Signal des Melders

ertönt.

Warnung: Mit diesem

Vorgang wird der Melder von

der Smart Bridge oder der ICS-

2000 getrennt. Um den Melder

zurückzusetzen, drücken Sie

mit dem mitgelieferten Stift

etwa

5 Sekunden lang auf die Taste

in dem seitlichen Loch. Zur

Bestätigung blinkt die LED

6-mal.

Aktivierung des

Verbindungsmodus: Nachdem

der Melder zurückgesetzt

wurde, können Sie den

Verbindungsmodus aktivieren,

indem Sie etwa 2 Sekunden

lang auf die Taste in dem

seitlichen Loch drücken. Die

LED blinkt 1 Minute lang,

um den Verbindungsmodus

anzuzeigen.

BATTERIEWECHSEL

A Önen Sie das Batteriefach,

indem Sie den Melder aus

der Halterung nehmen.

B Entfernen Sie die leere

Batterie und legen Sie

eine neue 3 V CR123A-

Lithiumbatterie in das

Fach ein. Beachten Sie die

Polarität.

C Verriegeln Sie den Melder

wieder in seiner Halterung.

Überprüfen Sie, ob die

Batterie korrekt eingesetzt

wurde, indem Sie den

Testmodus aktivieren.

(Siehe Schritt 6).

HAFTUNGSAUSSCHLUSS

Dieses Produkt wird als

Warngerät eingesetzt,

um den Nutzer bei der

Erkennung von Rauch zu

unterstützen. Dennoch bleibt

es die Verantwortung des

Endnutzers, ein (schwelendes)

Feuer oder Rauchansammlung

zu verhindern, zu erkennen

und/oder zu löschen. Trust

kann somit nicht für Schäden

oder Verletzungen durch

Feuer, Rauch oder Wärme

oder Folgeschäden zur

Verantwortung gezogen oder

haftbar gemacht werden.

COMPATIBILITÉ

Ce détecteur de fumée photo-électrique fonctionne avec la passerelle

Z1 Zigbee et la station ICS-2000 pour orir des fonctionnalités

supplémentaires comme la réception de notiﬁcations push en cas de

détection de fumée. IMPORTANT : pour recevoir des notiﬁcations push,

une connexion internet pleinement opérationnelle est indispensable.

INSTALLATION DU DÉTECTEUR DE FUMÉE

• Installez le détecteur au plafond. Dans le cas d’un plafond en pente,

placez-le à 90 cm du point le plus élevé.

• Pour s’assurer que l’alarme puisse être entendue dans les chambres,

le détecteur de fumée ne doit pas être installé à plus de 3 mètres

d’une porte de chambre.

• Il est recommandé d’installer un détecteur de fumée à chaque

étage de votre logement.

• Installez le détecteur à au moins 2 m des appareils de cuisson.

• Réinstallez l’unité à un autre emplacement si elle produit souvent

de fausses alarmes.

• Ne placez pas le détecteur à proximité de systèmes d’extraction de

fumée ou de climatisation, car ils pourraient empêcher la fumée

d’atteindre le détecteur.

• Évitez d’installer le détecteur dans des salles de bain ou dans des

endroits très humides ou poussiéreux.

• Respectez toujours les règlementations locales relatives à

l’installation dans des bâtiments.

TEST ET UTILISATION

• Testez toujours le détecteur en utilisant le mode test après l’avoir

installé, et par la suite, une fois par semaine.

• Testez le détecteur une fois par semaine. Si le test échoue,

remplacez immédiatement le détecteur.

• Remplacez la pile immédiatement quand le détecteur indique que

son niveau est faible. (Autonomie de la batterie allant jusqu’à 3 ans)

• Une fois par mois, nettoyez le détecteur avec une brosse souple.

• Ne nettoyez jamais le détecteur avec de l’eau, des détergents ou

des solvants qui pourraient endommager l’équipement.

• Si le détecteur est endommagé, remplacez-le immédiatement.

• Ce détecteur ne sera pas en mesure d’alerter des résidents

malentendants. Il est recommandé d’installer des détecteurs de

fumée spéciaux pour alerter les personnes sourant de ce handicap.

• N’utilisez jamais de ﬂamme vive pour tester cet équipement. Vous

pourriez endommager accidentellement l’équipement ou déclencher

un incendie dans votre logement.

• Utilisez uniquement une pile au lithium CR123A de 3 V. Les autres

piles pourraient causer des dysfonctionnements.

• Le retrait de la pile rend l’alarme non opérationnelle.

• Pressez le bouton de test pour vériﬁer le fonctionnement du

détecteur après le remplacement de la pile.

1. RETRAIT DE LA BANDE PLASTIQUE DE LA PILE

A Retirez le détecteur de son support de ﬁxation en le tournant.

B Tirez la bande plastique de protection de la pile pour la sortir du

détecteur. Le détecteur ne pourra fonctionner qu’après le retrait

de la bande.

2. VOYANTS

Le détecteur présente un voyant qui indique son statut. Veuillez consulter

le tableau ci-dessous pour connaître les diérentes indications du voyant.

Alarme du détecteur Le voyant clignote et le détecteur émet une alarme

sonore (85 dB). Pour arrêter l’alarme du détecteur,

pressez le bouton Test/Stop

Fonctionnement du

détecteur Le voyant clignote une fois toutes les 53 s pour

indiquer que le détecteur fonctionne correctement.

Témoin de niveau de

pile faible Le voyant clignote une fois et émet un bip toutes

les 53 s
