1. Gebrauchsanweisung für IXON Eyro / Core / Fyre - Akku-LED-Scheinwerfer

mit IQ-Lichttechnologie

Diese Gebrauchsanweisung richtet sich an Anwender mit Kenntnissen und Erfahrung im Zusammenbau

und der Montage von Fahrrad-Komponenten. Hierzu ist spezielles Werkzeug erforderlich. Falls Sie nicht

wissen, wie Fahrradkomponenten zusammengebaut bzw. montiert werden, oder nicht über geeignetes

Werkzeug hierzu verfügen, wenden Sie sich bitte an einen Fahrradfachmann, um diese Arbeiten ord-

nungsgemäß durchführen zu lassen. Werden die Beleuchtungskomponenten unsachgemäß zusammen-

gebaut oder montiert, kann es zu einem Sturz mit ernsten Verletzungen kommen. Lesen und beachten

Sie diese Gebrauchsanweisung sorgfältig und bewahren Sie diese an einem sicheren Ort auf.

2. Sicherheitsinformationen

3. Bestimmungsgemäßer Gebrauch

Busch + Müller bietet ein unterschiedliches Produktportfolio von Fahrradbeleuchtungen an. Nicht

jede Beleuchtung ist für jede Anwendung und für das Befahren jeder Oberflächenbeschaffenheit

geeignet. Hier gibt es Einschränkungen. Falls Sie nicht sicher sind, welche Art der Fahrrad-

beleuchtung Sie haben, können Sie entweder unsere Service Hotline unter +49 2354 915-7111

anrufen, eine E-Mail Anfrage an s[email protected] senden oder einen Fahrradfachhändler in Ihrer

Nähe um Rat fragen.

ANMERKUNG Die Fahrradbeleuchtungen von Busch + Müller eignen sich für das Fahren bei

fester Oberflächenbeschaffenheit. Vermeiden Sie extreme Einsätze und fahren Sie niemals

Treppen hinunter. Vollführen Sie keine Sprünge, Stunts, Kunststücke, Hüpfer oder Schussfahrten

im unebenen Gelände.

4. Gesetzliche Bestimmungen

Bevor Sie sich mit Ihrem Fahrrad im öffentlichen Straßenverkehr bewegen, müssen Sie sich mit

den geltenden Gesetzen und Rechtsvorschriften Ihres Landes und Ihrer örtlichen Bestimmungen

vertraut machen und diese jederzeit befolgen. Sie finden diese entweder in der Straßenverkehrs-

ordnung oder – abhängig von Ihrem jeweiligen Wohnsitz - in anderen Quellen.

! Ihre Fahrradbeleuchtung sollte niemals abgedeckt oder verborgen sein. Stellen Sie sicher, dass die

Beleuchtungseinheiten ordnungsgemäß ausgerichtet sind.

Die vorgeschriebene Montagehöhe liegt generell zwischen ca. 400 und 1.200 mm. Nähere Angaben

finden Sie entweder in der Straßenverkehrszulassungsordnung. Gegebenenfalls können Sie sich auch an

einen Fahrradfachhändler in Ihrer Nähe wenden. Sorgen Sie dafür, dass Ihre Beleuchtung so angebracht

und ausgerichtet ist, dass der entgegenkommende Verkehr nicht geblendet wird.

5. Verpackungsinhalt

6.1. Allgemeine Montagehinweise

Keine Unterlenkermontage: Bei hängender Montage des Scheinwerfers wird das Lichtbild auf den Kopf

gestellt. Der Gegenverkehr wird somit verkehrswidrig geblendet. Außerdem kann es zu Spritzwasserschä-

den kommen, deren Folgen dann von der Gewährleistung ausgeschlossen sind.

WARNUNG Um Stürze, Unfälle und schwere Verletzungen zu vermeiden, verwenden Sie ausschließ-

lich die vorinstallierte Montagehalterung von Busch + Müller. Werden zur Montage einer Fahrradbe-

leuchtung ungeeignete oder nicht ordnungsgemäß platzierte Halterungen verwendet, kann sich der

Scheinwerfer möglicherweise lösen, herunterrutschen und in den Radspeichen verfangen.

ANMERKUNG Halterungen niemals an konischen Bauteilen montieren!

Alle Schrauben fest anziehen, damit sich der Scheinwerfer nicht bewegen kann. Dies ist insbeson-

dere bei der Fahrt in unebenem Gelände wichtig. Der feste Sitz des Scheinwerfers ist

gegeben, wenn die Leuchteinstellung nur schwer regulierbar ist.

WARNUNG Regulieren Sie den Fahrradscheinwerfer niemals während der Fahrt! Schwere

Stürze und Verletzungen können die Folge sein.

Benutzen Sie das Fahrrad nicht, wenn der Lichtstrahl Ihres Scheinwerfers verstellt oder der

Scheinwerfer zu locker sitzt.

Nehmen Sie die Ausrichtung oder Feststellung des Fahrrad-Scheinwerfers nur vor, wenn das

Fahrrad steht. Das Blenden des Gegenverkehrs kann zu Unfällen führen. Vor Ausrichtung des

Fahrrad-Scheinwerfers, lösen Sie immer die Schraube der Halterung. Achten Sie darauf, diese

Schraube anschließend wieder fest anzuziehen.

WARNUNG Blicken Sie niemals direkt in den eingeschalteten Fahrrad-Scheinwerfer.

Höhenregulierung des Scheinwerfers

Stellen Sie den Fahrrad-Scheinwerfer so ein, dass entgegenkommende Verkehrsteilnehmer nicht ge-

blendet oder erschreckt werden. Auf einer vollständig ebenen Straßenoberfläche muss die horizontale

Lichtkante stets in der Entfernung sichtbar sein!

6.2.1. Montagehinweise Core und Fyre

! Die Scheinwerfer Core und Fyre sind unbedingt am Lenker anzubringen.

Den beiliegenden Gummiring um den Lenker legen. Feststellschraube und Verschlussknopf ab-

hängig vom Lenkerdurchmesser wählen und in den Lenkerhalter einschrauben. Den Lenkerhalter

mit dem Verschlussknopf zum Sattel zeigend über den Gummiring setzen. Schenkel unter dem

Lenker zusammen führen und mit der Feststellschraube fixieren.

! Bitte beachten: Der Verschlussknopf kann sowohl als kurze oder lange Variante genutzt

werden (einfach drehen)!

! Den Scheinwerfer in Fahrtrichtung und senkrecht von oben in den Scheinwerferhalter einsetzen und

fest aufdrücken. Er rastet hörbar im Arretierring ein. Unbedingt festen Sitz prüfen. Zum Abnehmen

des Scheinwerfers den Arretierring im Uhrzeigersinn drehen, den Scheinwerfer dabei festhalten und

nach oben abziehen. Für Sturzschäden, z.B. weil der Scheinwerfer beim Lösen des Arretierrings nicht

festgehalten wurde, wird keine Gewährleistung übernommen. Wenn die Anbausituation am Fahrrad nur

erlaubt, dass der Verschlussknopf nicht zum Radfahrer, sondern von ihm weg weisen muss, ist die Halter-

aufnahme an der Unterseite des Scheinwerfers mit einem Schraubendreher zu lösen, um 180° zu drehen

und dann wieder zu fixieren.

Der Scheinwerfer kann vertikal und für wenige Grad horizontal geschwenkt werden. In beiden Fällen ist

die Feststellschraube des Halters zu lösen.

Vertikal: Die Neigung des Scheinwerfers wird über die Stellung der Lenkerbefestigung geregelt.

Horizontal: Der Scheinwerfer ist auf dem Gummiring (in begrenztem Umfang) stufenlos nach links oder

rechts schwenkbar.

6.2.2. Montagehinweise Eyro

Scheinwerfer am Fahrrad mit beiliegendem Edelstahlhalter von Busch + Müller befestigen.

Schrauben nur so fest anziehen, dass sich der Scheinwerfer nicht von selbst verstellen kann.

Der Scheinwerfer 1 kann einfach durch einen Druck auf den Verriegelungsmechanismus 3

aus dem Trägerteil 2 entnommen und wieder eingesetzt werden. Er kann zusätzlich durch

Drehen des runden Verriegelungsmechanismus 3 verriegelt werden.

7. Laden des Akkus

Der IXON-Scheinwerfer verfügt über einen fest eingebauten Lithium-Ionen-Akku. Vor dem ersten Ge-

brauch muss der Akku zunächst geladen werden. Zum Aufladen die rückseitige Kappe am Scheinwerfer

öffnen. Beiliegendes USB-Kabel an die Micro-USB-Buchse 4 des Scheinwerfers anschließen. Zum Auf-

laden das USB-Kabel mit dem gegebenenfalls beiliegenden Netzteil, mit einem anderen USB-Standard-

netzteil (max. 1000 mA, 5 V) oder mit einem Computer verbinden. Während des Ladevorgangs leuchtet

die LED am Taster blau.

Wenn die LED erlischt, ist der Ladevorgang abgeschlossen. Während des Ladevorgangs mit einem Fremd-

gerät oder Computer blinkt die LED am Taster blau. Ein Überladen ist grundsätzlich ausgeschlossen, da

die Stromzufuhr automatisch abgeschaltet wird. Akku nur bei Temperaturen über 0°C laden.

WARNUNG Als Vorsichtsmaßnahme den Scheinwerfer während des Ladeprozesses nie unbeauf-

sichtigt lassen und auf eine feuerfeste Unterlage legen.

! Bitte beachten: Während des Ladens ist keine Spritz- und Regenwasserdichtigkeit gegeben. Auch im

eingeschalteten Zustand kann der Scheinwerfer geladen werden. Schäden, die durch beim Laden ein-

dringende Feuchtigkeit entstehen, sind von der Gewährleistung ausgeschlossen.

! Tipp zum Schonen des Akkus: Bei längerer Nichtbenutzung den Scheinwerfer möglichst kühl und

trocken sowie mit ca. 30 - 50 % Restkapazität lagern. Wird der Akku auf unter 10% Kapazität entladen

und anschließend wieder voll aufgeladen, kalibriert sich der Akku neu. Eine gelegentliche Kalibrierung

hilft dabei, dass die Restleuchtdauer stets so exakt wie möglich angezeigt wird.

Eyro ca. 5 Stunden / Core ca. 3,5 Stunden / Fyre ca. 5 Stunden

Mit anderen USB-Netzteilen / Mit USB-Anschluss am Computer: längere Ladezeiten

Beim Einsatz fremder Netzteile wird keine Gewährleistung übernommen.

Akkus laden mit Fahr-Energie

Mit dem E-Werk (Typ 361) oder dem USB-Werk (Typ 361BW) von Busch + Müller kann der Strom

eines Nabendynamos genutzt werden, um den die Scheinwerfer IXON Core und Fyre während der

Fahrt aufzuladen.

8. Bedienung & Anzeige

High-Power: ca. 30 Lux, Leuchtdauer mehr als 3 Stunden, gleichbleibend hell

Low-Power: ca. 10 Lux, Leuchtdauer etwa 15 Stunden, gleichbleibend hell

Bei geringem Akkustand wird der Leuchtmodus automatisch heruntergeschaltet.

Der High-Power-Leuchtmodus ist somit aus Schutz vor Tiefenentladung nicht mehr möglich.

In beiden Modi zeigen die Indikator-LEDs alle zwei Minuten die Restkapazität durch Blinken an:

5 x Blinken – Restkapazität ca. 80-100 %

4 x Blinken – Restkapazität ca. 60-80 %

3 x Blinken – Restkapazität ca. 40-60 %

2 x Blinken – Restkapazität ca. 20-40 %

1 x Blinken – Restkapazität ca. 0-20 %

Um die Anzeige der Restkapazität vor Ablauf der zwei Minuten herbeizuführen, entweder den Modus

wechseln oder Scheinwerfer aus und dann wieder einschalten.

Bei Unterschreiten einer gewissen Kapazität schaltet der Scheinwerfer automatisch in den LowPower-

Modus (blaue Indikator-LED erlischt, rote Indikator-LED leuchtet).

WARNUNG Bis der Scheinwerfer dann endgültig abschaltet, vergeht noch etwa eine Stunde. Dies

kann je nach Außentemperatur auch länger oder kürzer sein, so dass der Scheinwerfer irgendwann ab-

rupt ausschaltet. Dies kann schwere Stürze und Verletzungen zur Folge haben. Fahren Sie nicht, wenn die

rote LED im Taster durchgehend blinkt.

9. Weitere Anmerkungen

Wird das Fahrrad mit Wasser gereinigt oder beispielsweise auf dem Auto transportiert, muss der

Scheinwerfer entfernt werden.

Entsorgung: Elektronische Bauteile gehören nicht in den Hausmüll, sondern müssen als Sonder-

müll entsorgt werden!

Achtung: Der Betrieb empfindlicher funkgesteuerter Tachometer kann durch LED-Scheinwerfer

gestört werden.

10. Haftung

Neben den oben genannten Gewährleistungsausschlüssen sind alle sonstigen Schäden, die durch

unsachgemäße Behandlung auftreten (z. B. Herunterfallen des Scheinwerfers, unzureichend

sichere Montage und deren Konsequenzen, Eintauchen in Wasser, Öffnen der rückseitigen

Abdeckkappe bei Regen oder Feuchtigkeit usw.), von der Gewährleistung ausgeschlossen. Die

Gewährleistung erlischt außerdem, wenn der Scheinwerfer an einer anderen Stelle als der rück-

seitigen Abdeckkappe geöffnet oder demontiert wird.

1. Instruction Manual for IXON Core / IXON Fyre / LUMOTEC Eyro Battery LED Headlight

with IQ-Light Technology

These use and installation instructions are intended for users with knowledge and experience in

assembling and installing bicycle components. You need to have the suitable tools. If you do not know

how to assemble or install bicycle components or do not have all the necessary tools for the job, you

must consult with a bicycle specialist to have the installation done properly. Otherwise, the bicycle rider

may fall off and be seriously injured due to improper assembly or installation of the light. Read these use

and installation instructions, follow all the steps described and keep them in a safe place.

2. Safety Information

These use and installation instructions use the following signal words to alert you to potential hazards.

The meaning of the signal words is listed below:

WARNING Indicates a hazardous situation that, if not avoided, could result in death or serious

injury.

NOTICE Indicates information considered important, but not hazard-related (e.g. information related to

property damage).

The ! symbol is used to provide other useful information about your new bicycle lights.

3. Intended use

Busch + Müller offer different types of bicycle lights. Not every bicycle light can be used for every

application and for riding bicycles on every surface. There are limitations. If you are not sure

what type of bicycle light you have, either call our service hotline at +49 2354 915-7111, send an

e-mail to service@bumm.de or consult a local specialist bicycle retailer.

NOTICE Bicycle lights made by Busch + Müller are suitable for use on bicycles that are ridden

on a firm surface. Avoid any extreme use, and never ride down stairs or perform jumps, stunts,

tricks, bunny hops or steep descents on rough terrain.

4. Legal regulations

Before riding your bicycle on public roads, you must learn about and obey all applicable national,

state and local laws and regulations. These may be found in the Highway Code, DMV Handbook

or other sources depending on your state or location. If you are not sure about the applicable

regulations, consult a local bicycle specialist retailer.

! Never cover or conceal bicycle lights. Always make sure the bicycle lights are correctly adjusted. In

general, the prescribed mounting height ranges between about 16” to 48”. For details consult the High-

way Code or DMV Handbook or inquire with a local bicycle specialist retailer. The prescribed mounting

height ranges between 40 und 120 mm. You will find more details in the Road Traffic Licensing

Regulations. If necessary, contact a local bicycle specialist retailer. Make sure your lights are positioned

and adjusted in a way to ensure they do not blind oncoming traffic.

6.1. General assembly notes

No mounting underneath the handlebar: If the headlight is suspended underneath the handlebar, the

light field is reversed and oncoming traffic blinded which is a violation of traffic regulations. Also, we do

we assume any liability for possible splash water damage likely to occur when the headlight is mounted

underneath the handlebar.

WARNING Avoid falls, accidents and serious injuries. Use only the pre-installed Busch + Müller

bicycle light mounting brackets. Installing a bicycle light on a bicycle using brackets which are

not suitable or are positioned inappropriately, can lead to the light becoming loose, slipping and

getting caught in the spokes of the wheels.

NOTICE Never install a bracket on conical fork legs or strut substructure!

Tighten all screws so that the bicycle light cannot move. This is especially important when riding

on uneven surfaces. The light has a sufficiently tight seat when headlight range adjustment is

difficult to adjust its position.

WARNING Never adjust the bicycle light while riding! Severe falls and injuries may result. Do

not ride the bicycle if the beam issued by your bicycle light is misaligned, or the light is too loose.

Only straighten or fasten the bicycle light when the bicycle is not moving. Dazzling oncoming

traffic can cause accidents. Prior to adjusting the bicycle light, always loosen the bracket screw.

Afterwards, make sure to securely re-tighten the bracket screw again.

WARNING Never look into the bicycle light when it is turned on.

Height adjustments of the light

To avoid dazzling or startling approaching traffic or other road users, adjust the bicycle headlight in a

way to ensure that, on a completely even road, the horizontal edge of the light or the furthest area of the

light field is always visible in the distance!

6.2.1. Mounting instructions for Core and Fyre

! Ensure to attach the Core and Fyre headlights to the handlebar only.

Place the rubber ring included in the scope of supply around the handlebar. Insert the locking

screw selected to fit the handlebar diameter into the side of the locking knob selected according

to the handlebar diameter and screw it into the handlebar holder. Place the handlebar holder

over the rubber ring with the locking button facing the saddle. Join the legs of the holder

underneath the handlebar and affix them using the locking screw.

! Please note: The locking knob can be used as a short or long version (simply turn as required)!

! Insert the headlight into the headlight holder from the left in the direction of travel and firmly push it

into place until it audibly engages. Be sure to check that it is securely seated. To remove the headlight,

press the release button on the holder (located to the right of the headlight in the direction of travel),

while firmly holding the headlight and pull it off to the left. We exclude liability for any damage caused by

falling, e.g. because the headlight was not held tight while it was removed. If the structural situation on

the bicycle only allows the locking button to point away from the cyclist rather than towards him, use a

screwdriver to loosen the holder adapter on the top of the holder, turn it by 180° and then affix it again.

The headlight can be swivelled vertically and, horizontally by a few degrees. In both cases, the locking

screw of the holder must be loosened.

Vertically: The headlight’s tilting angle is determined by the position of the handlebar attachment.

Horizontally: The headlight can be swivelled infinitely (to a limited extent) to the left or right on the

rubber ring.

6.2.2. Mounting instructions for Eyro

Use the enclosed stainless steel holder from Busch + Müller to securely fasten the headlight on

the bike‘s steering head. Carefully tighten the screws on the headlight in a way to prevent the

headlight from moving in the holder all by itself.

The headlight 1 can be removed from the holder 2 and reinserted after pushing the

locking mechanism 3 upwards. It can be additionally locked by turning the circular locking

mechanism 3.

7. Charging the battery

The headlight comes with an integral lithium-ion-battery that must be charged before first use. To

charge, open the rear cover on the headlight, or remove the Eyro headlight from the package. Connect

the enclosed USB cable to the Micro-USB socket 4 don the headlight. Connect the USB cable to the

enclosed power supply unit, to another standard USB power supply unit (max. 1,000 mA, 5 V) or to a

computer. During the charging process, the LED on the switch shines blue. When the LED light is off, the

charging process is complete. When charging with an alternative device or computer, the LED on the

switch flashes blue. Overcharging is basically impossible as the power supply is automatically switched

off. Ensure to charge the battery at temperatures above 0°C only. Charging is also possible when the

headlight is switched on.

WARNING As a precaution, never leave the headlight unattended during the charging process and

place it on a fireproof surface.

! Please note: During the charging process, the headlight is not protected against splash and rain

water. The headlight can also be charged when switched on. We do not assume any liability for damage

likely to be caused by moisture entering the headlight during the charging process.

! How to preserve the battery: When not in use over an extended period of time, store the headlight in a

cool and dry environment as well as with approx. 30 - 50 % residual capacity. If the battery is discharged

to below 10% capacity and then fully charged again, the battery recalibrates itself. Occasional calibration

helps to ensure that the remaining lighting capacity is always displayed as accurately as possible.

Duration of charging

Using the original power pack from Busch + Müller:

Eyro: abt. 5 hrs. /Core: abt. 3.5 hrs. / Fyre: abt. 5 hrs.

Using other USB power packs or USB computer connector: extended charging times.

We do not accept liability for damage caused by using third-party power supply units.

Charging the battery while cycling

With E-Werk (Type 361) or USB-Werk (Type 361BW) from Busch + Müller, the current generated by

a hub dynamo can be used to charge the headlight while cycling.

8. Operation & display

High-Power: Core abt. 50 Lux / Fyre and Eyro abt. 30 Lux, shines consistently bright for more

than 3 hrs.

Low-Power: Core abt 12 Lux/ Fyre and Eyro abt. 10 Lux, shines consistently bright for abt. 15 hrs.

If the battery charge falls below a certain level, the High-Power mode automatically switches to

Low-Power. In order to protect the battery against exhaustive discharge, the High-Power mode is

then no longer possible.

To check the remaining capacity before these two minutes have elapsed, either change the mode or

switch the headlight off and then on again. When the capacity falls below a certain level, the headlight

automatically switches to the Low-Power mode (red indicator LED flashes).

WARNING Flashing indicator LED: The headlight no longer meets the minimum legal requirements

and must be charged. There is now about one hour left before the headlight finally switches off.

Depending on the ambient temperature, this period of time can also be longer or shorter, so

that the headlight may switch off abruptly at some point. This can result in serious crashes and

injuries. Do not cycle if both indicator LEDs in the button are flashing continuously.

9. Further notes

If the bike is cleaned with water or transported, for example, on a car the light must be removed.

Disposal: Electronic parts are no regular waste. They have to be disposed of as special waste!

Please note: The operation of sensitive, radio-controlled odometers may be impaired by LED

headlights.

10. Liability

In addition to the above-mentioned exclusions of warranty, we do not assume liability for any and

all other damage caused by improper handling (e.g. dropping the headlight, inadequate safety

of mounting and its consequences, submersion in water, opening the rear cover in rain or moist

environments etc.). Neither do we assume any liability if the headlamp is opened or dismantled at

any point other than the rear cover.

technique d‘éclairage IQ

Cette notice d‘utilisation est destinée aux utilisateurs disposant de connaissances et d‘expérience

concernant l‘assemblage et le montage de composants de vélo. Des outils spéciaux sont nécessaires à

cette fin. Si vous ignorez comment assembler ou monter des composants de vélo ou si vous ne disposez

pas d‘outils appropriés à cet effet, veuillez contacter un spécialiste pour cycles, afin de faire exécuter

ces travaux dans les règles de l‘art. Si l‘assemblage ou le montage des composants d‘éclairage n‘est pas

exécuté de manière conforme, ceci peut causer une chute et de sérieuses blessures. Lisez attentivement

et observez les instructions dans cette notice d‘utilisation et conservez-la dans un endroit sûr.

2. Informations sur la sécurité

Cette notice d‘utilisation utilise des termes d‘avertissement qui signalent des dangers potentiels ou des

3. Emploi conforme à l‘usage prévu

Busch + Müller propose une gamme variée de produits d‘éclairage pour vélos. Tous les types

d‘éclairage ne conviennent pas toujours à chaque application et à la circulation sur n‘importe

quel type de surface. Il existe ici certaines restrictions. Si vous n‘êtes pas sûr du type

d‘éclairage de votre cycle, vous pouvez soit appeler notre service d‘assistance téléphonique

au +49 2354-915-7111, soit envoyer une demande par e-mail à [email protected], ou bien

encore demander conseil à un spécialiste des vélos et cycles dans votre région.

REMARQUE Les éclairages pour vélos de Busch + Müller sont adaptés à la circulation sur

des surfaces fermes. Évitez les utilisations extrêmes et ne dévalez jamais les escaliers avec le

vélo. N‘effectuez pas des sauts, des cascades, des manœuvres acrobatiques, des bonds ou des

descentes à pic sur un terrain accidenté.

4. Dispositions légales

Avant de circuler avec votre vélo sur la voie publique, vous devez vous familiariser avec les lois

et réglementations en vigueur dans votre pays et votre région et les respecter à tout moment.

Vous pourrez les trouver soit dans le code de la route soit, selon votre lieu de résidence, dans

d‘autres sources.

! Votre éclairage de vélo ne doit jamais être couvert ou caché. Assurez-vous que les unités d‘éclairage

sont correctement orientées.

La hauteur de montage prescrite varie généralement entre 40 et 120 cm. Pour plus d‘informations,

veuillez consulter le code de la route ou le cas échéant contacter un spécialiste des vélos et cycles dans

votre région. Veillez à ce que votre éclairage soit installé et orienté de manière à ne pas éblouir le trafic

circulant en sens inverse.

6.1. Consignes de montage générales

Pas de montage sous le guidon : en cas de montage suspendu du phare, l‘image lumineuse est inversée.

Ceci éblouit les conducteurs arrivant en face, en infraction aux règles de circulation. Par ailleurs, des

dommages dus aux projections d’eau peuvent survenir, dont les conséquences sont exclues de la

prestation de garantie.

AVERTISSEMENT Pour éviter les chutes, les accidents et les blessures graves, utilisez exclusivement

le support de montage préinstallé de Busch + Müller. Si des supports inadaptés ou placés

incorrectement sont utilisés pour effectuer le montage d‘un éclairage de vélo, le phare risque

de se détacher, de glisser vers le bas et aussi de se coincer dans les rayons des roues.

REMARQUE Ne jamais monter les supports sur des composants coniques, sauf le guidon !

Bien serrer toutes les vis, pour empêcher que le phare ne bouge. Cela est particulièrement

important lorsque l‘on roule sur terrain accidenté. Le phare est fermement en place lorsqu‘il est

plus difficile de régler la portée du faisceau lumineux.

AVERTISSEMENT Ne réglez jamais la portée du faisceau lumineux lorsque vous roulez ! Des

chutes et blessures graves peuvent en résulter. N‘utilisez pas le vélo si le faisceau lumineux de

votre phare est mal réglé ou si le phare est desserré. Réglez l‘orientation du phare ou resserrez

sa fixation uniquement lorsque le vélo est à l‘arrêt. Éblouir le trafic circulant en sens inverse peut

causer des accidents. Avant d‘aligner ou d‘orienter le phare de vélo, vous devez, par précaution,

toujours desserrer la vis du support. Veillez à bien resserrer cette vis par la suite.

WARNING Ne regardez jamais directement dans la lumière du phare de vélo allumé.

Réglage en hauteur du champ lumineux

Pour ne pas éblouir ou surprendre les autres usagers de la route qui circulent en sens inverse, réglez

toujours le phare de vélo de manière à ce que, sur une route parfaitement plane, le bord lumineux

horizontal ou la zone la plus éloignée du champ lumineux soit toujours visible au loin !

6.2.1. Consignes de montage Core et Fyre

! Il faut impérativement installer les phares Core et Fyre uniquement sur le guidon.

Placer autour du guidon l’anneau caoutchouc inclus dans les fournitures livrées. Insérer la vis

de blocage sélectionnée en fonction du diamètre du guidon dans le côté du bouton d‘obturation

sélectionné en fonction du diamètre du guidon et la visser dans le support de guidon. Placer

le support de guidon sur l‘anneau caoutchouc, le bouton d‘obturation étant dirigé vers la selle.

Assembler les pans du support sous le guidon et les fixer à l‘aide de la vis de blocage.

! À noter : Le bouton d‘obturation peut être utilisé comme version courte ou longue au choix

(faire pivoter, tout simplement) !

! Placer le phare en partant de la gauche dans le sens de la marche dans le porte-phare et le pousser

fermement. Il s’enclenche de façon audible. Vérifier impérativement qu’il est fermement en place. Pour

retirer le phare, appuyer sur le bouton de déverrouillage du support (situé à droite du phare dans le

sens de la marche) tout en maintenant le phare immobilisé et le retirer ensuite vers la gauche. Nous

n’assumons aucune garantie pour les dégâts causés par des chutes, par ex. parce que le phare n’a pas

été maintenu immobilisé lors du desserrage. Si la situation de montage sur le cycle permet seulement

que le bouton d’obturation peut être dirigé non pas dans la direction du cycliste, mais au contraire dans

la direction opposée, il faut desserrer le support de fixation situé sur la face supérieure du support au

moyen d’un tournevis, faire pivoter le support de fixation de 180° et le fixer à nouveau ensuite.

Le phare peut être pivoté à la verticale et de quelques degrés à l’horizontale. Dans les deux cas, il faut

desserrer la vis de fixation du support.

Verticale : l’inclinaison du phare se règle par le biais du positionnement de la fixation du guidon.

Horizontale : le phare peut être pivoté sur l’anneau caoutchouc (dans certaines limites), en continu vers

la gauche ou vers la droite. 6.2.2. Consignes de montage Eyro

UFixer le phare sur le vélo de manière fiable sur la tête directionnelle de la roue, à l‘aide du

support en acier inox Busch + Müller fourni en même temps. Serrer les vis sur le phare juste

assez fermement pour que le phare ne se dérègle pas de lui-même dans le support par la suite.

Le phare 1 peut être retiré par le haut, hors du support 2 après une pression exercée sur le

mécanisme de verrouillage 3 et remis en place. Il peut en plus être verrouillé, par pivotement

du mécanisme de verrouillage rond 3.

7. Charging the battery

Le phare dispose d‘un accu au lithium-ions intégré. Avant la première utilisation, il faut tout d‘abord charger

l‘accu. Pour effectuer la recharge, ouvrir le capuchon situé sur l‘arrière du phare et enlever le phare

Eyro de son support. Raccorder le câble USB ci-joint à la prise micro USB 4 du phare. Pour effectuer

la recharge, relier le câble USB au bloc d‘alimentation également fourni ou bien à un bloc d‘alimentation

USB d‘une autre marque (max. 1000 mA, 5 V), ou bien encore à un ordinateur. Pendant la recharge, la

DEL dans le bouton Marche/Arrêt s’allume en bleu. Lorsque la DEL s‘éteint, l’opération de charge est

terminée. Pendant le processus de charge avec un appareil tiers ou un ordinateur, la - DEL témoin sur le

bouton clignote en bleu. Une surcharge est absolument exclue, car l’alimentation en courant est coupée

automatiquement. Recharger l‘accu uniquement à des températures supérieures à 0°C. Le phare peut

également être chargé lorsqu‘il est connecté.

AVERTISSEMENT Par mesure de précaution, ne jamais laisser le sans surveillance pendant le

processus de charge et le placer sur un support réfractaire.

! À noter : pendant la recharge, l‘étanchéité aux éclaboussures et à l‘eau de pluie n‘est pas assurée.

Les dommages causés par la pénétration d‘humidité lors de l’opération de recharge sont exclus de la

garantie.

! Conseils pour préserver l‘accumulateur : En cas de non-utilisation prolongée, conserver le phare si

possible dans un endroit frais et sec et avec au moins 30- 50 % de sa capacité restante.

Si l‘accumulateur est déchargé à moins de 10 % de sa capacité, puis complètement rechargé, il se

recalibre automatiquement. Un calibrage occasionnel permet d‘assurer que la durée d‘éclairage

restante est toujours affichée avec la plus grande précision possible.

Temps de charge

Avec le bloc d‘alimentation d‘origine Busch+ Müller :

Eyro 5 heures env./Core 3,5 heures env./ Fyre 5 heures env.

Avec d’autres blocs d’alimentation USB ou avec une prise USB sur l’ordinateur : temps de charge

plus longs. Nous n‘assumons aucune garantie pour les dommages causés par l‘utilisation de blocs

d‘alimentation d‘autres fabricants.

Charger des accus avec l’énergie stockée pendant le roulement

Avec le dispositif E-Werk (modèle 361) ou le USB-Werk (modèle 361BW) de Busch + Müller, il est

possible d‘utiliser le courant d‘une dynamo dans le moyeu pour recharger le phare pendant le

roulement.

8. Commande et affichage

High-Power : Core 50 lux env. / Fyre et Eyro 30 lux env., durée d‘éclairage : plus de 3 heures,

luminosité constante

Low-Power : Core 12 lux env. / Fyre et Eyro 10 lux env., durée d‘éclairage : 15 heures environ,

luminosité constante

Lorsque la batterie est faible, le mode d‘éclairage passe automatiquement commuté de High-Power à

Low-Power. Le mode d‘éclairage High-Power n‘est donc plus possible, pour assurer la protection contre

une décharge complète.

Bouton Marche/Arrêt

Marche / Arrêt : Maintenir le bouton enfoncé pendant 2 secondes

Commuter entre High Power et Low Power : Presser brièvement sur le bouton

Affichage de capacité de l‘accu des DEL témoins intégrées dans le bouton

DEL bleue : éclairage HighPower

DEL rouge : éclairage LowPower

Dans les deux modes, les DEL témoins signalent toutes les deux minutes, par clignotement,

la capacité restante :

Clignotement 5 x – Capacité restante 80-100 % env.

Clignotement 4 x – Capacité restante 60-80 % env.

Clignotement 3 x – Capacité restante 40-60 % env.

Clignotement 2 x – Capacité restante 20-40 % env.

Clignotement 1 x – Capacité restante 0-20 % env.

Clignotement constant – Faible capacité de l‘accu, le charger.

Pour afficher la capacité restante avant écoulement des deux minutes, changer de mode ou bien

éteindre puis rallumer le phare.

Si la charge est inférieure à un certain seuil de capacité, le phare commute automatiquement

dans le mode LowPower (la DEL témoin rouge clignote).

AVERTISSEMENT La DEL témoin clignote : Le phare n‘atteint plus les exigences légales

minimales et doit être rechargé. Après une heure environ, le phare s’éteint ensuite complètement.

Cette durée peut varier en plus ou en moins en fonction de la température extérieure, de sorte

que le phare s‘éteint brusquement à un moment donné. Cela peut provoquer des chutes et des

blessures graves. Ne roulez pas lorsque les deux DEL témoins sur le bouton clignotent en continu.

9. Autres remarques

Si le cycle est nettoyé à l‘eau ou transporté en voiture, par exemple, le phare doit dans ce cas

être retiré avant.

Élimination : les composants électroniques doivent être éliminés non pas en même temps que

les déchets ménagers, mais parmi les déchets dangereux.

Attention : le fonctionnement des compteurs de vitesse radio-commandés sensibles aux

interférences peut être perturbé par les phares à DEL.
