Thank you for having chosen a HÆGER product.

The HÆGER products have been produced to think about the welfare of the

consumer privileging the most raised standards of quality, functionality and

assign. We are sure you will be happy with this appliance.

We assume that the user is familiar with the common procedures of handling

household appliances.

Before using the appliance for the first time please read carefully and

thoroughly through these operating instructions and the safety advice,

completely familiarising yourself with the appliance. Retain these instructions for

future reference and pass them on to whoever might acquire the appliance at

a future date.

Intended use

This appliance has been designed to blend liquids such as dairy products,

sauces, fruit juices, soups; to mix drinks, shakes, etc. It can be used to mix soft

foods or to make purées with cooked ingredients, such as carrots or baby food

ingredients. You can also use the blender to make cocktails with crushed ice.

This appliance is for household use only, not for industrial use. Any use other than

what is indicated could be dangerous.

General Safety Instructions

When using electrical appliances, basic safety precautions

should always be followed, including the following:

• Read these instructions completely before using the

appliance.

• Remove all elements from the inside or outside of the

appliance used for protection during transport or for sales

promotions, such as paper or plastic bags, plastic sheets,

cardboard and stickers.

• Do not modify or repair the appliance. In the event of any

anomaly in the cord or any other part of the appliance, do

not use it and take it to an authorised assistance service.

• Before plugging the appliance into the mains, check that the

indicated voltage matches that of your home.

• Always unplug the appliance after use and before removing

or installing parts and before doing any maintenance or

cleaning. Also unplug it in the event of a power outage.

• Never pull on the cord or use it to hang up the appliance.

Always unplug the appliance by pulling on the plug, never the

cord.

• Prevent the power cord from coming into contact with sharp

edges or hot surfaces.

• If the power cord is damaged, it should be replaced by the

manufacturer or by your after-sales service shop or similar

qualified personnel to prevent possible hazards.

• Do not leave the blender in operation unattended.

• Never submerge the main body of the appliance in water or

any other liquid or put it in the dishwasher.

• The blades are very sharp. Be very careful when handling

them. Do not handle them when the appliance is plugged in.

While it is operating, keep hands, hair, clothes and any utensil

away from the moving blades.

• Only use the blender with the lid fitted on the jar. Never use

the blender when it is empty.

• The jar is not suitable for use in microwave ovens.

Children and Frail Individuals

• To ensure your children’s safety, please keep all

packaging (plastic bags, boxes, polystyrene etc.) out of

their reach.

• Do not allow small children to play with the foil as there is

a danger of suffocation!

• The appliance may be used by children 8 years or older

and by persons with reduced physical or mental

capabilities, if they are under supervision or if they have

been instructed in the use of the appliance in a safe

manner and understand the potential risks. Children must

not carry out cleaning and maintenance of the

appliance, unless they are 8 years or older and under

supervision. Children younger than 8 years must be kept

away from the appliance and its power supply.

• Children should be supervised to ensure that they do not

play with the appliance.

The control panel and programmes

The blender has variable speed control and 3 functions – Pulse, Ice Crushing

and Smoothie.

- Pulse - In this mode, the unit operates at maximum speed as long as the

pulse button ‘P’ is pressed. This programme is ideally suited for chopping

ingredients for a short time at maximum speed.

- Ice Crushing - This button starts the programme for crushing ice cubes. The

appliance starts at maximum speed, then slows down and returns to

maximum speed. This will last for 30s.

- Smoothie - The unit works for 60 seconds at 90% of maximum speed. This

programme is ideally suited for preparing smoothies, as the programme

automatically switches off after 1 minute.

- Speed selector - The speed control allows for increasing or reducing the

operating speed. Use a low speed setting for coarse chopping of the

ingredients; for puréeing ingredients, we recommend using the maximum

speed setting.

Before the first use

• Take the appliance and accessories out the box. Remove the protective foil

or plastic from the device.

• Place the device on a flat stable surface and ensure a minimum of 10 cm.

free space around the device. This device is not suitable for installation in a

cabinet or for outside use.

• Before using your appliance for the first time, wipe off all removable parts

with a damp cloth. Never use abrasive products.

• Put the power cable into the socket (Note: Make sure the voltage which is

indicated on the device matches the local voltage before connecting the

device). The blue light around the 3 function buttons will flashing up. After the

glass jug is fixed to motor housing base unit, the light will stop flashing and

turns fixed.

• The blender is equipped with a security function. The blender can only be

switched on if the glass jar is locked in the base unit correctly.

Assembly instructions

Assembling and disassembling the blending jug

1. Place the cutting blade assembly into the blade base.

2. Place the blade base with inserted blade assembly on the blending glass

jug from the bottom and tighten it firmly in clockwise direction.

3. Place the measuring cup into the opening in the blender lid and turn it

clockwise to secure it in the lid.

4. When you have placed all the necessary ingredients into the blending jug,

close it with the assembled lid. The lid needs to be properly pushed down

along the entire perimeter so that it adheres well to the edge of the

blending jug.

5. When disassembling the blending jug, proceed in the reverse sequence.

Attaching the blending jug to the motor unit and their removal

On to the motor unit place the blending jug and turn it clockwise all the way

so that it is secured on the motor unit. When the blending jug is correctly

attached to the motor unit, it is not possible to freely lift it off the motor unit.

Attention:

The safety mechanism will prevent the appliance from being started unless the

blending jar is properly attached to the motor unit.

Operation

• This appliance has been designed to blend liquids such as dairy products,

sauces, fruit juices, soups; to mix drinks, shakes, etc. It can be used to mix soft

foods or to make purées with cooked ingredients, such as carrots or baby

food ingredients. You can also use the blender to make cocktails with

crushed ice. Never put in more than 10 ice cubes at a time.

• Under no circumstance should the appliance be operated for more time

than what is necessary. After using the appliance continuously for one

minute, allow it to cool to room temperature to prevent it from overheating.

CAUTION:

– Maximum time of processing should not exceed 1min continuous use. In

order to achieve below processing times, use the appliance with pulses and

intermediate 10 second pauses.

– DO NOT OPERATE THE UNIT WHEN EMPTY.

– DO NOT PUT HOT INGREDIENTS INTO THE BOWL. BEFORE FOOD PREPARATION,

ALLOW FOOD TO COOL DOWN FOR A FEW MINUTES.

– Before you eat or serve blended food, please always check for ingredients

that might have not been blended adequately.

– Do not put any wooden, plastic, glass, metal or similar objects in the jar.

GENERAL: For better results please make sure that the quantity of ingredients

fully covers the blade while chopping solid food.

Blending

1. Assemble the blender as explained in section “Assembly Instructions”. Be

sure that it is assembled correctly. (Fig. )

2. Put the jug onto the motor unit (Fig. ). Turn the jug clockwise until it locks

into place. (Fig. )

3. Put food into the jug without exceeding 2/3 of the maximum capacity

(upper edge).

4. Close the jug with the assembled lid. The lid needs to be properly pushed

down along the entire perimeter so that it adheres well to the edge of the

blending jug.

5. Turns the rotary control to the desired speed (min – max) for blending.

6. Mix the ingredients for 2 minutes and pause at least for 1 minute

During operation hold the lid on firmly using both hands. NEVER remove the

lid while the appliance is operating.

7. If you want to add any ingredient during the blending process, remove the

measuring cup and add ingredients through the hole in the lid.

8. When you obtain the desired result, turn the rotary control to its OFF

position.

9. Unplug the cable from the mains and wait until the blade has stopped

turning.

10. Remove the jug from the main body and empty it.

Function Pulse

1. Press and hold the Pulse button or press it several times, until the food

reaches your desired consistency. The device is working as long you press

the button.

2. Operate the pulse function for ca. 1 minute and pause at least for 1 minute

Function Ice Crushing

1. Fill the jar with ice cubes.

2. Press the Ice crushing button, the machine will work discontinuously lasting

for 30 seconds to make the food reaches your desired consistency.

Function Smoothie

1. Fill the jug with fruits and/or vegetables as well as enough liquid.

2. Press the Smoothie button, the machine will keep working for 1 min to

make the food reaches your desired consistency.

Useful Tips

• Do not use this jar to store food or other objects.

• It is not advisable to pour very hot food in the jar to avoid the danger of

burning yourself.

• We recommend adding the ingredients little by little instead of all at once.

• First blend the harder ingredients and then add the softer ones. This makes

it easier to obtain an even mix.

• The slower speed is more suitable for beating or mixing foods with a liquid

consistency. The faster speed is recommended for mincing or mixing more

solid or thicker foods.

• Coarse and fibrous foods must be cut into 2 or 3 cm cubes at most.

• To make cocktails with crushed ice, first put in the ingredients then the ice,

and lastly the liquid needed or a little water. Do not forget to add the

liquid otherwise the ice will not be crushed correctly.

• When crushing ice, use the high speed for a few seconds to crush it

completely. The ice cubes will be propelled upwards, so they will not get

stuck in the bottom.

• If the foods stick to the walls of the jar during blending or remain out of the

range of the blades, switch off the appliance, remove the jar from the

base and take off the lid. Remove the lid and carefully push the food

towards the blades with a spatula. Put the lid on the jar, place it on the

main body and carry on blending the ingredients.

• Do not exceed the maximum level indicated on the blender jar.

Cleaning and Maintenance

The blades are very sharp. Avoid touching the blades with your hands while

cleaning and drying the inside of the jug.

Never submerse the main body in water or wash it in the dishwasher.

1. Clean the appliance before using it for the first time, immediately after use

and after not being used for a long period of time.

2. Clean the jar and other plastic pieces immediately, given that some foods

(such as carrots) are very difficult to clean once they are dry.

Quick cleaning

1. With the blender assembled, open the lid and pour in some warm water

with a drop of liquid detergent.

2. Close the lid. Be sure that it is closed firmly.

3. Press Pulse button for a few seconds.

4. Remove the jar and rinse with warm water.

Thorough cleaning

1. Empty the jar and dismantle the blender.

2. Clean the main body and the mains cable with a damp cloth.

3. Clean the other parts with soapy water and rinse thoroughly under the tap.

Never wash in the dishwasher. Turn the jug upside down to dry.

4. Assemble the blender as explained in paragraph “Assembly Instructions”.

Do not touch the blade particularly when the machine is plugged in.

The glass jar must not be subjected to large differences in temperature.

Storage Instructions

• Store the machine in a dry environment.

• Never put the glass jar or any other part of the blender in the microwave.

Troubleshooting

• If when the product is in use it shows abnormal signs such as noise, odour,

smoke or any increase in temperature, unplug the machine and do not

use it any more.

• If the machine no longer works, check that the plug is properly connected

to the mains and that the jar is correctly locked onto the motor unit.

• If the machine still does not work after the above checks, contact the

after-sales service of the store where it was purchased.

Overheat protection

• In order to prolong the device’s service life, an overheat protecting unit is

installed. If the motor runs too long or overloaded, the temperature

reaches the warning value and the motor will stop automatically. Pull out

power supply plug and wait for the motor to cool (about 20 to 30 minutes),

then use again.

• If you have any problem with this device, do not disassemble it by yourself.

Guarantee

This unit is covered by a 24 months (*) warranty, from the purchase date, and

covers the repair free of charges of the damaged due to the manufacturer

fault or defected components. The distributor reserves the right to change the

unit for an equivalent model.

The warranty does not cover any damaged caused by incorrect use, lightning,

incorrect installation, external factors or any intentional damaged. The warranty

does not cover damage thus attributable to falls, blows, spill, exposure to

extreme environmental conditions or deterioration caused by normal use of

plastic parts or keyboards, as well as using batteries other than those specified in

this manual.

For the repairing, during the warranty period, the unit shall be sent to the

distributor or reseller, or to the address indicated by them, and must be jointed

the warranty certificated and the respective original invoice or selling ticket,

where the buying date is expressed indicated.

The consumer is protected by the guarantee provided by Directive 1999/44/CE

of European Parliament and Council of 25 May.

Comandos e programas de funcionamento

O liquidificador tem controle de velocidade variável e 3 funções - Pulse, Ice

Crushing e Smoothie.

– Pulse (Pulso) - Neste modo, a unidade opera na velocidade máxima, desde

que o botão Pulse seja pressionado. Este programa é ideal para triturar

ingredientes por um curto período de tempo à velocidade máxima.

– Ice Crushing (tritura gelo) - Este botão inicia o programa de esmagamento

de cubos de gelo. O aparelho começa na velocidade máxima, depois

desacelera e retorna à velocidade máxima. Isso durará 30s.

– Smoothie (batidora) - A unidade funciona por 60 segundos a 90% da

velocidade máxima. Este programa é ideal para preparar smoothies, já que

o programa desliga automaticamente após 1 minuto.

– Seletor de velocidade - O controle de velocidade permite aumentar ou

Antes da primeira utilização

• Retire o aparelho e os acessórios da caixa. Remova a película protetora

ou plástico do dispositivo.

• Coloque o dispositivo em uma superfície plana e estável e assegure um

mínimo de 10 cm. espaço livre ao redor do dispositivo. Este dispositivo não

é adequado para instalação em gabinetes ou para uso externo.

• Antes de usar o aparelho pela primeira vez, limpe todas as partes

removíveis com um pano húmido. Nunca use produtos abrasivos.

• Coloque o cabo de alimentação na tomada (Nota: Certifique-se de que

a voltagem indicada no dispositivo corresponde à voltagem local antes

de ligar o dispositivo). A luz azul ao redor dos 3 botões de função piscará.

Após o jarro de vidro ser fixada na unidade base da caixa do motor, a luz

parará de piscar e ficará fixa.

• O liquidificador está equipado com uma função de segurança. O

liquidificador só pode ser ligado se o jarro de vidro estiver travado na

unidade base corretamente.

Instruções de montagem

Montagem e desmontagem do jarro de mistura

1. Coloque o conjunto da lâmina de corte no suporte base das lâminas.

2. Coloque a base das lâminas com o conjunto de lâminas inserido no jarro

de vidro de mistura a partir da parte inferior e aperte-o firmemente no

sentido horário.

3. Coloque a tampa doseadora na abertura da tampa do liquidificador e

gire-o no sentido horário para prendê-lo na tampa.

4. Depois de colocar todos os ingredientes necessários no jarro de mistura,

feche-o com a tampa montada. A tampa precisa ser empurrada

corretamente ao longo de todo o perímetro para que ela adira bem à

borda do jarro.

5. Ao desmontar o jarro de mistura, proceda na sequência inversa.

Fixar o jarro de mistura à unidade do motor e a sua remoção

Coloque o jarro de mistura montado na unidade do motor e rode-o no

sentido dos ponteiros do relógio até ao fim de modo a ficar fixo na unidade

do motor. Quando o jarro de mistura está corretamente fixado à unidade do

motor, não é possível levantá-lo livremente da unidade do motor.

Atenção:

O mecanismo de segurança impedirá que o aparelho seja acionado, a menos

que o jarro de mistura esteja fixado corretamente à unidade do motor.

Utilização

• Este aparelho foi concebido para bater líquidos como produtos lácteos,

molhos, sumos de fruta, sopinhas, misturar bebidas, batidos, etc. Pode

também ser utilizada para misturar alimentos suaves ou para fazer puré com

ingredientes cozidos, por exemplo, cenouras ou ingredientes de comida

para bebé. Também pode fazer cocktails com gelo triturado. Não introduzir

mais de 10 cubos de cada vez.

• Em nenhuma circunstância é conveniente ter o aparelho em

funcionamento durante mais tempo que o necessário. Depois do uso

contínuo do aparelho durante um minuto, deixe-o arrefecer à temperatura

ambiente, para evitar o sobreaquecimento.

CUIDADO:

– O tempo máximo de processamento não deve exceder 1min de uso

contínuo. Para atingir tempos de processamento inferiores, utilize o

aparelho com impulsos e pausas intermédias de 10 segundos.

– NÃO OPERE A UNIDADE QUANDO VAZIA.

– NÃO COLOQUE INGREDIENTES QUENTES NO JARRO. ANTES DA PREPARAÇÃO

DE ALIMENTOS, PERMITA QUE OS ALIMENTOS ESFRIEM POR ALGUNS MINUTOS.

– Antes de comer ou servir comida misturada, por favor, verifique sempre os

ingredientes que possam não ter sido misturados adequadamente.

– Não coloque nenhum objeto de madeira, plástico, vidro, metal ou similar

no jarro.

GERAL: Para melhores resultados, certifique-se de que a quantidade de

ingredientes cobre totalmente a lâmina enquanto triture alimentos sólidos.

Misturar

1. Monte o liquidificador como explicado na secção "Instruções de

Montagem". Certifique-se que a montagem está correta. (Fig. )

2. Coloque o jarro na unidade do motor (Fig. ②). Gire o jarro no sentido

horário até que ele trave no lugar. (Fig. ③)

3. Introduza os alimentos no jarro sem ultrapassar 2/3 da capacidade

máxima (orla superior) do recipiente.

4. Coloque a tampa e a tampa doseadora. Certifique-se que estão bem

fechadas.

5. Ligue o cabo de alimentação à tomada elétrica.

6. Com o seletor de velocidade escolha entre a velocidade baixa (1) ou

velocidade máxima (2) ou P impulso breve e deve manter esta posição

durante o tempo necessário para prolongar o funcionamento do

aparelho (máximo 1 minuto de funcionamento contínuo).

Durante o funcionamento fixe a tampa coma as duas mãos. NUNCA

remova a tampa durante o funcionamento.

7. Se desejar acrescentar algum ingrediente durante o funcionamento, retire

a tampa doseadora e acrescente os ingredientes pelo orifício da tampa.

8. Quando obtiver o resultado desejado, escolha a posição de desligado no

seletor de velocidade.

9. Retire o cabo de alimentação da tomada elétrica e espere que a lâmina

pare de girar.

10. Remova o jarro do corpo principal e esvazie-o.

Função Pulse (Pulso)

1. Mantenha pressionado o botão (Pulse) ou pressione várias vezes para

obter a consistência desejada. O aparelho trabalha enquanto você

continua pressionando o botão.

2. Operar a função pulsar por cerca de 1 minutos e pausar por 1 minutos até

Função Ice Crushing (triturar gelo)

1. Encha o recipiente de cubos de gelo.

2. Pressione o botão Ice Crushing. O aparelho irá funcionar durante 1 minuto

sem interrupção até que o gelo tenha atingido a consistência desejada.

Função Smoothie

1. Encher o jarro com frutas e/ou vegetal, bem como suficiente líquido.

2. Pressione o botão Smoothie. O dispositivo irá operar durante 1 minuto até

que a consistência atingir a consistência desejada.

Conselhos úteis de Utilização

• Não utilize o jarro para guardar alimentos ou objetos.

• Recomenda-se não deixar alimentos muito quentes no jarro com o fim de

prevenir queimaduras.

• Recomenda-se acrescentar os ingredientes aos poucos ao invés de tudo

de uma vez.

• Primeiramente, triture os alimentos mais sólidos e seguidamente adicione

os mais moles. Desta forma é mais fácil conseguir uma mistura

homogénea.

• Recomenda-se utilizar a velocidade mais lenta para bater ou misturar

alimentos com consistência líquida. Recomenda-se utilizar a velocidade

mais rápida para triturar ou misturar alimentos com consistência mais

sólida.

• Os alimentos grossos e com fibra têm de ser cortados em quadrados de 2

ou 3 cm como máximo.

• Para os cocktails com gelo triturado introduza primeiro os ingredientes,

depois o gelo e, por último, o líquido necessário ou um pouco de água.

Não se esqueça de acrescentar o líquido, caso contrário o gelo não será

devidamente triturado.

• Para triturar o gelo recomendamos utilizar a velocidade mais alta durante

alguns instantes para terminar de o triturar de forma correta. O gelo será

empurrado para cima evitando que fique preso em baixo.

• Se durante o processo de mistura, os alimentos se agarrarem às paredes

da jarra ou ficarem fora do alcance das lâminas, apague o aparelho e

remova o jarro do corpo principal. Remova a tampa e mova os alimentos

cuidadosamente na direção da lâmina. Tampe o jarro, coloque-o no

corpo principal e termine a mistura dos alimentos.

• Não exceda o nível máximo indicado no jarro do liquidificador.

Limpeza e manutenção

As lâminas estão muito afiadas. Evite tocar nas lâminas com as mãos ao limpar

e enxugar o interior do jarro.

Nunca submergir o corpo principal na água nem o lavar na máquina de lavar

loiça.

1. Limpe o aparelho antes da primeira utilização, imediatamente após cada

utilização e após um longo período sem usar.

2. Limpe o copo e outros elementos plásticos imediatamente à sua utilização,

já que alguns alimentos (por exemplo a cenoura) são muito difíceis de

limpar uma vez secos.

Limpeza rápida

1. Levante a tampa com o liquidificador montado e deite água tépida com

um pouco de detergente líquido.

2. Feche a tampa. Certifique-se de que está bem fechado.

3. Pressione o botão P durante alguns segundos.

4. Remova o jarro e enxagúe-o com água tépida.

Limpeza profunda

1. Esvazie o jarro e desmonte o liquidificador.

2. Limpe o corpo principal e o cabo de ligação com um pano húmido.

3. Limpe os demais elementos com água e sabão e enxague com água

abundante sob água corrente. Não os introduza no lava-loiça. Coloque o

jarro de boca para baixo para secar.

4. Monte o liquidificador como explicado na secção “Instruções de

Montagem”.

Não toque nas lâminas, especialmente se o aparelho estiver ligado.

O jarro de vidro não deve sofrer alterações de temperatura muito fortes.

Instruções de armazenamento

• Guarde o aparelho em um ambiente seco.

• Nunca coloque o jarro de vidro ou qualquer outra parte do liquidificador

no micro-ondas.

Solução de problemas

• Se, quando o aparelho estiver em uso, ele apresentar sinais anormais,

como ruídos, odores, fumaça ou qualquer aumento de temperatura,

desligue-o e não o utilize mais.

• Se o aparelho não funcionar mais, verifique se a ficha está ligada

corretamente à rede elétrica e se o jarro está corretamente travado na

unidade do motor.

• Se o aparelho continuar a não funcionar após as verificações acima,

entre em contato com o serviço pós-venda da loja onde ele foi

comprado.

Proteção contra sobre aquecimento

• Para prolongar a vida útil do aparelho, o motor tem uma proteção contra

sobreaquecimento integrado. Se o motor funcionar durante muito tempo,
