Limited Two-Year Warranty
Conair will repair or replace (at our option) your unit free of charge for 24 months from
the date of purchase if the appliance is defective in workmanship or materials.
To obtain service under this warranty, return the defective product to the service center
listed below that is nearest you, together with your purchase receipt and $3.00 for
postage and handling.
California residents need only provide proof of purchase and should call 1-800-334-4031
for shipping instructions. In the absence of a purchase receipt, the warranty period shall
be 24 months from the date of manufacture.
ANY IMPLIED WARRANTIES, OBLIGATIONS, OR LIABILITIES, INCLUDING BUT
NOT LIMITED TO THE IMPLIED WARRANTY OF MERCHANTABILITY AND FITNESS
FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, SHALL BE LIMITED IN DURATION TO THE 24

This appliance has a polarized plug (one blade is wider than the other). As a safety
feature, this plug will fit into a polarized outlet only one way. If the plug does not
fit fully into the outlet, reverse the plug. If it still does not fit, contact a qualified
electrician. Do not attempt to defeat this safety feature.
MEDICAL WARNING: For your safety:
1. If you have had oral or periodontal surgery in the previous twelve months, contact
your dentist prior to use.
2. When you start any new oral hygiene program, your gums may initially bleed
slightly. Contact your dentist if excessive bleeding occurs or if bleeding continues
after two weeks of use.
3. Be sure that only the water jet nozzle touches your teeth and gums. Damage to
teeth and gums may occur if any other part of the unit touches them.
4. This product is designed for oral cleaning only. DO NOT use the unit for any
other purpose.
5. As with any other new oral hygiene program, individuals with heart problems
should check with their physician prior to using the Interplak

BEFORE USING
DANGER: To reduce the risk of electrocution:
1. DO NOT use the unit while bathing.
2. ALWAYS unplug this product immediately after using.
3. DO NOT place or store the unit where it can fall or be pulled into a tub, sink, or toilet.
4. DO NOT reach for a unit that has fallen into water; unplug immediately. Do not reach
into the water under any circumstances. Have the unit checked by an Authorized
Service Center after it has been in water.
5. The unit is designed for use in a 120 volt AC, 60 Hz outlet. Never force the plug into the outlet.
6. DO NOT submerge the unit in water or any other liquid.
WARNING: To reduce the risk of burns, electrocution, fire, or injury:
1. Never operate the unit if it has a damaged plug, if it is not working properly, if it has
been dropped or damaged, or if it has been immersed in water. Refer to an Authorized
Service Center for repair.
2. DO NOT excessively bend or pull the cord. Unplug the cord by grasping the plug –
NOT THE CORD.
3. Keep the cord away from heated surfaces.
4. Close supervision is necessary when this product is used by, on, or near children or
disabled persons.
5. Use this product only for its intended use as described in this manual. Only use
attachments recommended by the manufacturer.
6. Never use while drowsy.

Instructions For Use
Remove the water reservoir (1) and fill with lukewarm water. Reinstall the reservoir
firmly onto the base (2). Prior to initial use, the unit should be rinsed by letting a
full reservoir of water pass through it. If the unit is to be used with a mouthwash
solution, it should be rinsed with clean water after each use to remove any traces of
mouthwash. If the unit has not been used for a long period of time, for reasons of
hygiene it is advisable to follow the directions for initial use, letting a full reservoir of
water pass through. To remove trapped air upon initial operation, turn the rotary flow
control (6) all the way to the right and then to the left, three times.
Prior to filling the water reservoir, make sure water tip is firmly placed on and in the
stand. The Water Jet is supplied with 5 attachments. Remove the flosser handle from
base and install selected tip:
Standard Tip (2pcs): removes trapped particles from between teeth.
Subgingival Tip (1pc): uses a soft rubber tip to massage the gums and safely deliver
solution into the gingival pockets below the gumline.
Brush Head Tip (1pc): loosens debris and larger food particles before flushing them
away – ideal for all dental work, including fixed and removable appliances.
Tongue Cleaner (1pc): place the tongue cleaner at farthest end of tongue and move
forward. Repeat to cover entire tongue. After switching on (7) the unit, the rotary
flow control (6) can be used to regulate the water pressure. You should begin with
the lowest setting so that your gums can become accustomed to the water jet.
Hold the fingertip on/off control (water-stop button) (3) down and, after switching on
the unit, place the tip in your mouth and lean over the sink. When you release the
water-stop button, the cleaning and massage process is begun. The direction of the
water jet in your mouth can be controlled by twisting the tip to the desired position on
the handle. Keep your mouth slightly open and hold your elbow at mouth level so that
the water can run back into the sink. Direct the water jet toward your teeth, especially
between your teeth, in order to rinse away stubborn remaining food.
This also massages your gums. Do not point the water jet directly toward your gums;
point between your teeth to prevent damage to delicate gum areas.

If, in the course of use, the valve (8) on the water tank begins to leak, this can be
taken care of by cleaning the valve seat. To do this, push out the valve body using
the nozzle tip, clean the valve seat and replace the valve.

®
améliore l'hygiène buccale et contribue de manière significative
à la santé des gencives lorsqu'il est utilisé dans le cadre d'un programme de gestion de
la santé bucco-dentaire responsable. Il est particulièrement efficace pour nettoyer autour
des appareils orthodontiques, des ponts dentaires fixes et amovibles, des implants et
des attelles, et il masse efficacement les gencives à chaque utilisation.
Important : l'irrigation dentaire devrait compléter votre routine d'hygiène buccale, et non
la remplacer. Demandez à votre dentiste comment l’hydropulseur dentaire peut répondre
plus efficacement à vos besoins de soin bucco-dentaires spécifiques.

L’hydropulseur dentaire Interplak
®
a été spécifiquement conçu pour vous aider à maintenir
un niveau élevé d'hygiène bucco-dentaire à la maison, et vous aider à améliorer votre
santé bucco-dentaire rapidement et facilement. Il déloge les débris alimentaires des
endroits difficiles d'accès autour des implants, des appareils orthodontiques et des
couronnes. Il est doux et efficace sur tous les appareils orthodontiques, les couronnes,
et les ponts dentaires.
Nettoyage et entretien
Si, pendant l’utilisation, la valve (8) du réservoir d’eau commence à fuir, il vous faudra
nettoyer la base de la valve. Pour cela : déloger la valve avec le bout de l’embout hydro-
pulseur, nettoyer la base de la valve, puis remettre la valve en place.
Mode d'emploi
Retirer le réservoir d'eau (1) et le remplir d'eau tiède. Remettre le réservoir en place, en
vous assurant qu’il est solidement installé sur le socle (2). Avant la première utilisation,
rincer le système interne en y faisant circuler un réservoir d'eau entier. Si l’appareil est
utilisé avec une solution de bain de bouche, rincer le système interne avec de l’eau

Familiarisez-vous avec votre hydropulseur dentaire
Le réservoir d’eau sert
de couvercle pour un
rangement compact
après chaque utilisation pour éliminer les résidus de bain de bouche. Pour des raisons
d’hygiène, si l’appareil n’a pas été utilisé pendant un certain temps, il est conseillé de
rincer le système interne en y faisant circuler un réservoir d’eau entier, comme avant la
première utilisation. Pour éliminer l’air du système interne, tourner le bouton de réglage
de la pression (6) complètement vers la droite, puis vers la gauche, trois fois de suite.
Avant de remplir le réservoir, vérifier que l’embout hydropulseur est bien installé, et
que le manche est sur le socle. L’hydropulseur Interplak inclut 5 accessoires. Retirer le
manche du socle et installer l’embout désiré :
Embout hydropulseur (2): déloge les résidus alimentaires coincés entre les dents.
Embout parodontal (1) : utiliser la pointe en caoutchouc pour masser les gencives et
faire pénétrer la solution de rinçage dans les poches gingivales sous la ligne gingivale.
Embout brosse à dents (1): déloge les résidus et grosses particules alimentaires des
dents avant de les rincer. Idéal pour nettoyer les appareils dentaires, y compris les ponts
fixes et amovibles.
Embout gratte-langue (1): placer l'embout contre la langue, tout au fond de la bouche,
et racler vers l’avant. Répéter sur toute la surface de la langue. Appuyer sur le bouton de
mise sous tension (7) pour allumer l’appareil, puis tourner le bouton de réglage de pres-
sion (6) pour régler la pression d’eau au niveau voulu. Commencer au niveau le plus bas
de façon à ce que vos gencives s’habituent au jet de l’hydropulseur.
Appuyer, sans relâcher, sur le commutateur d’alimentation en eau (3), introduire l'em-
bout dans la bouche et vous incliner au-dessus du lavabo. Relâcher le commutateur ; le
nettoyage et le massage commenceront. Orienter l'embout vers la direction voulue en le
tournant sur le manche. Garder la bouche légèrement ouverte et lever le coude au niveau
de la bouche de façon à ce que l'eau s’écoule vers le bas. Pointer le jet d’eau vers les
dents, particulièrement vers l'espace entre les dents, pour déloger les résidus alimen-
taires et masser les gencives. Ne pas pointer le jet d’eau directement vers les gencives ;
elles sont délicates et cela pourrait les endommager.
