and manufactured with the highest priority on safety.

However, improper use can result in electric shock and/or

cleaning the product. To ensure your safety and prolong

the service life of this product, please read the following

precautions carefully before use.

22) Power Lines - An outside antenna system should not

be located in the vicinity of overhead power lines or

other electric light or power circuits, or where it can

fall into such power lines or circuits. When installing

an outside antenna system, extreme care should be

taken to keep from touching such power lines or cir-

cuits as contact with them might be fatal.

23) Protective Attachment Plug - The product is equipped

with an attachment plug having overload protection.

This is a safety feature. See Instruction Manual for

replacement or resetting of protective device. If re-

placement of the plug is required, be sure the service

technician has used a replacement plug specied by

the manufacturer that has the same overload protec-

tion as the original plug.

24) Stand - Do not place the product on an unstable cart,

stand, tripod or table. Placing the product on an un-

stable base can cause the product to fall, resulting

in serious personal injuries as well as damage to the

product. Use only a cart, stand, tripod, bracket or ta-

ble recommended by the manufacturer or sold with

the product. When mounting the product on a wall,

be sure to follow the manufacturer’s instructions. Use

only the mounting hardware recommended by the

manufacturer.

■General

●Keep your equipment at least 4” (10 cm) of free space

along the sides, top and back for proper ventilation.

●Use the unit on a rm, level surface free from vibration.

●Place the unit at least 12” (30 cm) away from any CRT

TV to avoid color variations across the TV screen. If

the variations persist, move the unit further away from

the TV. LCD TV is not prone to such variation.

●Keep the unit away from direct sunlight, strong

magnetic elds, excessive dust, humidity and

electronic/electrical equipment (home computers,

facsimiles, etc.) which generate electrical noise.

●Do not expose the unit to moisture, to temperatures

higher than 95˚F (35˚C) or to extremely low

temperatures.

●If the unit does not work properly, unplug and plug it in

again. Then turn on the unit.

●In case of an electrical storm, unplug the unit for safety.

●Hold the AC power plug by the head when removing

it from the AC outlet, as pulling the cord can damage

internal wires.

●Do not place anything on top of the unit.

●The AC power plug is used as a disconnect device and

shall always remain readily operable.

●Do not remove the outer cover, as this may result

in electric shock. Refer internal service to your

local SHARP service facility.

●This unit should only be used within the range of 41˚F

- 95˚F (5˚C - 35˚C).

● This equipment is a Class II or double insulated

electrical appliance. It has been designed in such a

way that it does not require a safety connection to

electrical earth.

Warning:

The voltage used must be the same as that specied on

this unit. Using this product with a higher voltage other

than that which is specied is dangerous and may result in

a re or other type of accident causing damage. SHARP

will not be held responsible for any damage resulting from

use of this unit with a voltage other than that which is

specied.

■Volume Control

The sound level at a given volume setting depends on

speaker efciency, location and various other factors. It is

advisable to avoid exposure to high volume levels, which

occurs while turning the unit on with the volume control

setting up high, or while continually listening at high

volumes.

■Before Use

●Choose unit installation location carefully. Avoid

placing it in direct sunlight or close to a source of

heat. Also avoid locations subject to vibrations and

excessive dust, cold or moisture. Keep away from

sources that hum, such as transformers or motors.

●Do not open the cabinet as this might result in damage

to the circuitry or electrical shock, if a foreign object

should get into the set, contact your dealer.

●When removing the power plug from the wall outlet,

always pull directly on the plug, never pull the cord.

●Do not attempt to clean the unit with chemical solvents

as this might damage the unit. Use a clean, dry cloth.

●In order to shut off the power to this product completely,

unplug the power cord from the wall outlet. Be sure to

unplug the unit if you do not intend to use it for an

extended period of time, such as a vacation.

●Keep this manual in a safe place for future reference.

MIZARI ENTERPRISES, INC. warrants to the first consumer purchaser that this Sharp brand product (the

"Product"), when shipped in its original container, will be free from defective workmanship and materials, and agrees that

it will, at its option, either repair the defect or replace the defective Product or part thereof with a new or remanufactured

equivalent at no charge to the purchaser for parts or labor for the period(s) set forth below.

This warranty does not apply to any appearance items of the Product nor to the additional excluded item(s) set forth

below nor to any Product the exterior of which has been damaged or defaced, which has been subjected to improper

voltage or other misuse, abnormal service or handling, or which has been altered or modified in design or construction.

In order to enforce the rights under this limited warranty, the purchaser should follow the steps set forth below and

provide proof of purchase to the servicer.

The limited warranty described herein is in addition to whatever implied warranties may be granted to purchasers by law.

ALL IMPLIED WARRANTIES INCLUDING THE WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY AND FITNESS FOR USE ARE

distributed in Canada by MIZARI or by an authorized MIZARI dealer, and Product was not sold “as is” or “sales final” that the Product will during the

applicable warranty period, be free from defects in material and workmanship, and will within the applicable warranty period, either repair the defective

Product or provide the first purchaser a replacement of the defective Product.

Conditions: This limited warranty shall not apply to:

(a) Any cosmetic damage to the Product surface or exterior that has been defaced or caused by normal wear and tear.

(b) Any defects caused or repairs required as a result of damage caused by any external or environmental conditions, including but not limited to,

transmission line/power line voltage or liquid spillage or acts of God.

(c) Warranty claims for Products returned with illegible or without appropriate model, serial number and CSA/cUL markings.

(d) Any Products used for rental or commercial purposes.

(e) Any installation, delivery, setup and/or programming charges.

(f) Any defects caused or repairs required as a result of abusive operation, negligence, accident, improper installation or inappropriate use as outlined in

the owner’s manual or other applicable Product documentation.

(g) Any defects caused or repairs required as a result of any Product that has been tampered with, modified, adjusted or repaired by any person other than

MIZARI, a Sharp authorized service center or a MIZARI authorized servicing dealer.

(h) Any defects caused or repairs required as a result of the use of the Product with items not specified or approved by MIZARI, including but not limited

to, head cleaning tapes and chemical cleaning agents.

(i) Any replacement of accessories, glassware, consumable or peripheral items required through normal use of the Product, including but not limited to,

earphones, remote controls, AC adapters, batteries, temperature probe, trays, filters, belts, ribbons, cables and paper.

How to get service: Warranty service information may be obtained calling 905-568-7140. No other person (including any MIZARI dealer or service

center) is authorized to extend, enlarge or transfer this warranty on behalf of MIZARI.The purchaser will be responsible for any and all removal,

reinstallation, transportation and insurance costs incurred.

The express warranties in this limited warranty are, except for consumer purchasers domiciled in Quebec, in lieu of and, except to the extent prohibited by

applicable law, MIZARI disclaims all other warranties and conditions, express or implied, whether arising by law, statute, by course of dealing or usage of

non-infringement.

Limitations: (not applicable to consumer purchasers domiciled in Quebec to the extent prohibited under Quebec law): (a) MIZARI shall

not be liable for any incidental, special, consequential, economic, exemplary or indirect damages of any kind or nature (including lost profits or damages for

■AC connection

Please ensure that the voltage marked on the rating

label, located on the rear panel, is the same as the

voltage in your area. Insert the end of the power

lead into the AC IN socket on the back of the unit.

Plug the other end of the cable into the wall socket.

■To turn the power on or off

●Press the /FUNCTION to power ON.

●Press and hold the /FUNCTION 3 seconds to

power OFF.

Notes

n USB/Bluetooth®/LINE IN mode, when no operation

performed for 15 minutes, the unit will automatically

enter standby mode. To resume operation, press

the /FUNCTION.

■Setting the function mode

To change the function, press the /FUNCTION

button to select the USB /Bluetooth®/LINE IN function.

■Volume control

Rotate the VOLUME knob to increase or decrease

the volume.

Press the LIGHT button repeatedly to select the

different lighting mode of LED indicator light on

the speaker. The display shows LEd1 to LEd7 and

LEd0 (Light OFF).

slow color change

●“LEd3” Rainbow color sync with the music

●“LEd4” Circle light breathe and color change

■Microphone echo

Rotate the ECHO VOL knob to adjust the echo.

●Press MIC Priority button to switch the MIC

Priority mode on and off.

●The “P-ON” will be shown on the display when

the MIC Priority is switched on and “P-OF” will

be shown when off.

●If you speak with a microphone when MIC

Priority is on, the sound of the music being

played will be reduced.

■Voice cancel

●Press the VOICE CANCEL button to switch the

VOICE CANCEL mode on and off.

●The “ACON” will be shown on the display when

the VOICE CANCEL mode is switched on and

“ACOF” will be shown when off.

●When VOICE CANCEL mode is on, the center

vocal voice of the song is canceled or reduced

and becomes smaller.

■Voice changer

●Press the VOICE CHANGER button to change 4

types of voice effect.

●The display shows EFE1 to EFE4 and EFE0

(VOICE CHANGER OFF).

■Mute function

Press the MUTE button to mute the sound. The “U-

00” will be shown on the display when switched on.

Press again to restore the sound.

■Listening to a USB device

This unit provides a USB port for music playback.

1. Connect a USB memory stick or press the

function button.

Connect the USB Memory Stick to the USB

playback port. If you already have a memory

stick connected to the port, press the function

button repeatedly to select the USB function.

2. The display will show the total number of folders

for 2 seconds and, then, show the total number of

playable tracks for 2 seconds and automatically

start to play the 1st track of the USB device. The

elapsed time will be shown on the display.

3. To pause playback press the button.

“PAUS” will be shown on the display.

4. To resume play, press the button.

The elapsed time will be shown on the display.

5. To select a desired track, press the

button either while playing or pausing

until the desired track appears on the display.

The unit will start playing automatically.

6. Press and hold the

button to fast

forward and backward until the desired point

is reached, then release the button for normal

playback. Playback will start from this point.

Caution

To prevent harmful interference, always connect

USB devices directly to the unit. Do not use a USB

extension cable to connect USB devices to the unit.

To select the USB play mode, press and hold the

PLAY MODE button. The mode will be changed as

following order.

●FOLDER mode, the display shows “Fold”.

●+/-10 Track jump mode, the display shows

“ud:10”.

●One Track Repeat mode, the display shows

“ONE”.

●Folder Repeat mode, the display shows “FO-r”.

●All track Repeat mode, the display shows “ALL”.

●Random Play mode, the display shows “rAnd”.

●Normal play mode, the display shows “ordE”.

■To select Play mode

The display will show the folder number and the

unit will automatically start playing the rst track

in the selected folder. After a few seconds, the

display will switch to elapsed time, the folder

mode will be canceled and the unit will be in

■To jump to +/- 10 Track

1. Press and hold the PLAY MODE button several

times until the display shows “ud:10” to select

+/-10 Track jump mode.

2. Press the

buttons to jump to +/-10 track.

The display will show the track number and the unit

will automatically start playing the selected track.

After a few seconds, the display will switch to

elapsed time, the +/-10 Track jump mode will be

canceled and the unit will be in normal mode.

■To Repeat a Single Track

1. Press and hold the PLAY MODE button several

times during play until the display shows “ONE”

to select the single track repeat mode. The

display will show “ONE”, then, the elapsed time.

The current track will be played repeatedly.

2. To cancel repeat play, press and hold the PLAY

MODE button several times during play until the

display shows “ordE” to select the normal play

mode.

■To Repeat the Folder

1. Press and hold the PLAY MODE button several

times during play until the display shows “FO-

r” to select the folder repeat mode. The display

will show “FO-r”, then, the elapsed time of the

current track. The current folder will be repeated

continuously.

2. To cancel repeat play, press and hold the PLAY

MODE button several times during play until the

display shows “ordE” to select the normal play

mode.

■To Repeat all the track

1. Press and hold the PLAY MODE button several

times during play until the display shows “ALL”

to select the all track repeat mode. The display

will show “ALL”, then, the elapsed time of the

current track. All tracks on the USB device will

be played repeatedly.

2. To cancel repeat play, press and hold the PLAY

MODE button several times during play until the

display shows “ordE” to select the normal play

mode.

■Random play

1. Press and hold the PLAY MODE button several

times during play until the display shows “rAnd”

to select the random play mode. The display

will show “rAnd”, then, the elapsed time of the

current track. The random play will start from the

next track automatically.

2. To cancel random play, press and hold the PLAY

MODE button several times during play until the

display shows “ordE” to select the normal play

mode.

■Normal play mode

Press and hold the PLAY MODE button several

times during play until the display shows “ordE” to

select the normal play mode.

The display will show “ordE”, then, the elapsed time

of the current track.

The unit will be in normal play mode.

■Charging the device from USB port

You can charge a device connected to the USB

CHARGE port on the unit.

1. Connect the device to the USB CHARGE port on

the top of the unit.

2. Charging of the connected device will start.

Notes

Even if you insert a USB memory stick into the USB

CHARGE port, the unit will not playback music.

■Condensation

Sudden temperature changes, storage or operation

in an extremely humid environment may cause

condensation inside the cabinet. Condensation can

cause the unit to malfunction. If this happens, leave

the product under room temperature for about 1

hour. Wipe off any condensation on the product with

a soft cloth before operating the unit.

■If problem occurs during operation

When this product is subject to strong external

interference (mechanical shock, excessive static

electricity, abnormal supply voltage due to lightning,

etc.) or if it is operated incorrectly, it may malfunction.

If such a problem occurs, do the following:

1. Switch off and on the unit again.

2. If the unit is not restored in the previous

operation, do the reset operation.

■Reset to factory default

Press and hold the LIGHT button for more than 10

seconds until display shows ‘Uxxx’. The unit will

return to Bluetooth function (default) when the reset

is completed.

■Cleaning the cabinet

Periodically wipe the cabinet with a soft cloth.

Précautions

■Générale

●Gardez votre équipement au moins 4” (10 cm)

d’espace libre sur les côtés, le dessus et l’arrière pour

une bonne ventilation.

●Utilisez l’appareil sur une surface ferme, plane et

exempte de vibrations.

●Placez l’appareil à au moins 12 pouces (30 cm) de tout

téléviseur à tube cathodique pour éviter les variations

de couleur sur l’écran du téléviseur. Si les variations

persistent, éloignez l’appareil du téléviseur. La

télévision LCD n’est pas sujette à de telles variations.

●Gardez l’appareil à l’abri de la lumière directe du

soleil, des champs magnétiques puissants, de la

poussière excessive, de l’humidité et des équipements

électroniques/électriques (ordinateurs personnels,

télécopieurs, etc.) qui génèrent du bruit électrique.

●N’exposez pas l’appareil à l’humidité, à des

tempratures suprieures  35˚C (95˚F) ou  des

températures extrêmement basses.

●Si l’appareil ne fonctionne pas correctement,

débranchez-le et rebranchez-le. Allumez ensuite

l’appareil.

●En cas d’orage électrique, débranchez l’appareil pour

plus de sécurité.

●Tenez la che d’alimentation secteur par la tte

lorsque vous la retirez de la prise secteur, car tirer sur

le cordon peut endommager les ls internes.

●Ne placez rien sur le dessus de l’appareil.

●La che d’alimentation CA est utilise comme dispositif

de déconnexion et doit toujours rester facilement

utilisable.

●Ne retirez pas le couvercle extérieur, car cela

pourrait entraîner un choc électrique. Référez le

service interne à votre centre de service SHARP

local.

●Cet appareil ne doit être utilisé que dans la plage de

5˚C - 35˚C (41˚F - 95˚F).

● Cet équipement est un appareil électrique de

classe II ou à double isolation. Il a été conçu de

manière à ne pas nécessiter de connexion de sécurité

à la terre électrique.

Avertissement:

La tension utilisée doit être la même que celle indiquée sur

cet appareil. L’utilisation de ce produit avec une tension

suprieure autre que celle spcie est dangereuse et

peut entraîner un incendie ou tout autre type d’accident

causant des dommages. SHARP ne sera pas tenu

responsable de tout dommage résultant de l’utilisation de

cet appareil avec une tension autre que celle spcie.

■Contrôle du volume

Le niveau sonore à un réglage de volume donné dépend

de l’efcacit des haut-parleurs, de l’emplacement et de

divers autres facteurs. Il est conseillé d’éviter l’exposition à

des niveaux de volume élevés, ce qui se produit lors de la

mise sous tension de l’appareil avec le réglage du volume

élevé ou lors de l’écoute continue à des volumes élevés.

■Avant utilisation

●Choisissez soigneusement l’emplacement

d’installation de l’unité. Évitez de le placer en plein

soleil ou à proximité d’une source de chaleur. Évitez

également les endroits soumis à des vibrations et

à une poussière excessive, au froid ou à l’humidité.

Éloignez-vous des sources qui bourdonnent, comme

les transformateurs ou les moteurs.

●N’ouvrez pas le boîtier car cela pourrait endommager

les circuits ou provoquer un choc électrique. Si un objet

étranger devait pénétrer dans l’appareil, contactez

votre revendeur.

●Lorsque vous dbranchez la che d’alimentation de la

prise murale, tirez toujours directement sur la che, ne

tirez jamais sur le cordon.

●N’essayez pas de nettoyer l’appareil avec des solvants

chimiques car cela pourrait endommager l’appareil.

Utilisez un chiffon propre et sec.

●Pour couper complètement l’alimentation de ce

produit, débranchez le cordon d’alimentation de la

prise murale. Assurez-vous de débrancher l’appareil

si vous n’avez pas l’intention de l’utiliser pendant une

période prolongée, comme des vacances.

●Conservez ce manuel dans un endroit sûr pour

référence future.
