5. Verwenden Sie dieses Gerät nicht in der Nähe von Wasser.

6. Reinigen Sie das Gerät nur mit einem leicht feuchten oder trockenen Tuch.

7. Montieren Sie das Gerät nicht neben Hitzequellen wie Heizkörper, Wärmespeicher, Öfen oder anderen

Geräten (auch Leistungsverstärker), die Hitze abstrahlen.

8. Sichern Sie das Netzkabel gegen Einquetschen oder Abknicken, insbesondere am Gerät selbst

sowie an dessen Netzstecker.

9. Verwenden Sie nur das vom Hersteller benannte Zubehör für dieses Gerät.

10. Trennen Sie das Gerät vom Stromnetz, wenn ein Gewitter aufkommt oder wenn Sie es voraussichtlich

für längere Zeit nicht verwenden werden.

11. Alle Wartungsarbeiten müssen von hierfür qualiﬁzierten Servicemitarbeitern durchgeführt werden.

Eine Wartung ist erforderlich, wenn das Gerät selbst oder dessen Netzkabel beschädigt wurde,

Flüssigkeiten oder Gegenstände in das Gerät gelangt sind, das Gerät Regen oder starker Feuchtig-

keit ausgesetzt wurde, das Gerät nicht ordnungsgemäß arbeitet oder es heruntergefallen ist.

Achtung - wichtiger Hinweis

• Dies ist ein Gerät der Klasse A. Dieses Gerät kann im Wohnbereich Funkstörungen verursachen.

In diesem Fall kann vom Betreiber verlangt werden, angemessene Maßnahmen durchzuführen!

Haftungsausschluss

• Die Firma beyerdynamic GmbH & Co. KG übernimmt keine Haftung für Schäden am Produkt oder

Verletzungen von Personen aufgrund unachtsamer, unsachgemäßer, falscher oder nicht dem vom

Hersteller angegebenen Zweck entsprechender Verwendung des Produkts.

Standort

• Das Gerät muss so aufgestellt werden, dass der Netzanschluss, Netzschalter und alle Anschlüsse

auf der Rückseite des Gerätes leicht zugänglich sind.

• Wenn Sie das Gerät an einen anderen Ort transportieren, achten Sie darauf, dass es ausreichend

gesichert ist und niemand durch ein eventuelles Herunterfallen oder Stoßen am Gerät verletzt

werden kann.

Ventilation

• Dieses Gerät benötigt eine ausreichende Ventilation. Decken Sie die Lüftungsöffnungen nicht ab.

Wenn die Eigenwärme nicht abgeführt wird, kann das Gerät beschädigt oder brennbare Materialien

in unmittelbarer Nähe können entzündet werden. Achten Sie daher darauf, dass die Luft durch

die Lüftungsöffnungen frei zirkulieren kann und halten Sie brennbare Materialien fern.

• Stecken Sie keine Gegenstände in die Lüftungs- und andere Öffnungen. Sie könnten das Gerät

beschädigen und/oder sich verletzen.

Brandschutz

• Stellen Sie niemals offene Brandquellen (z.B. Kerzen) auf das Gerät.

Feuchtigkeit / Wärmequellen

• Setzen Sie das Gerät niemals Regen oder hoher Feuchtigkeit aus. Installieren Sie es daher nicht

in unmittelbarer Nähe von Swimming Pools, Duschanlagen, feuchten Kellerräumen oder sonstigen

Bereichen mit außergewöhnlich hoher Luftfeuchtigkeit.

• Stellen Sie niemals mit Flüssigkeiten gefüllte Gegenstände (z.B. Vasen oder Trinkgläser) auf das

Gerät. Flüssigkeiten in den Geräten können einen Kurzschluss verursachen.

Coretis – Kurzanleitung

• Installieren und betreiben Sie das Gerät niemals in unmittelbarer Nähe von Heizkörpern,

Beleuchtungsanlagen oder anderen wärmeerzeugenden Geräten.

Anschluss

• Das Gerät muss an eine Netzsteckdose mit Schutzkontakt angeschlossen werden (Schutzklasse 1).

• Verlegen Sie alle Kabel stets so, dass sie nicht durch scharfe Gegenstände geknickt oder gar durch-

getrennt werden können.

• Verlegen Sie alle Anschlusskabel so, dass niemand darüber stolpern und sich verletzen kann.

• Schalten Sie bei allen Arbeiten an den Ein- und Ausgängen die Stromzufuhr aus.

• Überprüfen Sie, ob die Anschlusswerte mit der vorhandenen Netzstromversorgung über einstim-

men. Bei Anschluss des Systems an die falsche Stromversorgung können ernsthafte Schäden ent-

stehen. Eine falsche Netzspannung kann das Gerät beschädigen oder einen elektrischen Schlag

verursachen.

• Beachten Sie, dass für verschiedene Netzspannungen entsprechende Netzkabel und Anschluss-

stecker erforderlich sind.

Siehe hierzu folgende Tabelle:

• Wenn durch das Gerät eine Sicherung defekt oder ein Kurzschluss verursacht wurde, nehmen Sie

es vom Netz und lassen Sie es überprüfen und reparieren.

• Fassen Sie das Netzkabel nicht mit nassen Händen an. An den Kontaktstiften darf sich kein

Wasser oder Staub befinden. In beiden Fällen könnten Sie einen elektrischen Schlag erleiden.

• Das Netzkabel muss fest angeschlossen sein. Ist es lose, besteht Brandgefahr.

• Ziehen Sie das Netzkabel immer am Stecker vom Netz und/oder vom Gerät - niemals am Kabel.

Das Kabel könnte beschädigt werden und einen elektrischen Schlag oder Brand verursachen.

• Setzen Sie das Gerät nicht ein, wenn der Netzstecker beschädigt ist.

• Wenn Sie defektes oder ungeeignetes Zubehör anschließen, kann das Gerät beschädigt werden.

Verwenden Sie daher nur die von beyerdynamic lieferbaren oder empfohlenen Anschlusskabel.

Ausschalten

• Schalten Sie das Gerät über den Netzschalter auf der Rückseite aus.

Vom Netz trennen

• Ziehen Sie den Netzstecker aus der Netzsteckdose direkt am Stecker und nicht am Kabel. Achten

Sie darauf, dass die Netzsteckdose sich in der Nähe des Gerätes befindet und leicht zugänglich

ist.

Reinigung

• Reinigen Sie das Gerät nur mit einem leicht feuchten oder trockenen Tuch. Verwenden Sie niemals

Lösungsmittel, da diese die Oberfläche beschädigen.

Wartung

• Öffnen Sie nicht eigenmächtig das Gerät, insbesondere wenn es am Netz angeschlossen ist. Sie

könnten einen elektrischen Schlag erleiden.

• Überlassen Sie alle Servicearbeiten nur autorisiertem Fachpersonal.

2. Entsorgung

Dieses Produkt darf am Ende seiner Lebensdauer nicht über den normalen Haushaltsabfall

entsorgt werden, sondern muss an einem Sammelpunkt für das Recycling von elektrischen und

elektronischen Geräten abgegeben werden. Das Symbol auf dem Produkt, der Gebrauchsan-

weisung oder der Verpackung weist darauf hin.

3. Einführung

Sie haben sich für den digitalen Signalprozessor Coretis von beyerdynamic entschieden. Wir

danken für Ihr Vertrauen. Nehmen Sie sich bitte einige Minuten Zeit und lesen Sie diese Information

vor Inbetriebnahme aufmerksam durch.

Coretis ist ein digitaler Signalprozessor für Audiosignale. 8 analoge Mono-, 2 analoge Stereo-Eingänge

und 8 analoge Ausgänge erlauben es, Coretis für fast alle Anwendungen im professionellen

Installationsbereich einzusetzen. Je 8 weitere Ein- und Ausgangskanäle stehen digital über das

AVB-Netzwerk zur Verfügung. Die fixe DSP-Struktur und die einfache Bedienoberfläche ermöglichen

eine schnelle und intuitive Konfiguration. Coretis bietet eine große Auswahl von Audiobearbeitungs-

funktionen wie Automixer, 4-Band Equalizer, Hoch- und Tiefpassfilter, Ducker, Leveler, Kompressor/

Limiter, Delay und Tongenerator.

5. Aufstellen des Signalprozessors

Der Signalprozessor Coretis ist für den Einbau in ein 19"-Rack vorgesehen, kann aber auch auf einem

Tisch aufgestellt werden. Bei der Aufstellung sollten Sie die Sicherheitshinweise aus Kapitel 1

beachten und darüberhinaus

• darf die Umgebungstemperatur am Aufstellungsort 40 °C nicht überschreiten.

• darf der Aufstellungsort keiner übermäßigen Staub- und Feuchtigkeitsentwicklung ausgesetzt sein

(Verschmutzungsgrad 2).

• sollte das Gerät keiner direkten Sonneneinstrahlung ausgesetzt sein.

• müssen die Anschlüsse vor direktem Zugriff während des Betriebes geschützt sein.

• müssen die Zuleitungen gegebenenfalls durch extern anzubringende Vorrichtungen zugentlastet

werden.

• muss der Aufstellungsort vor Vibrationen geschützt sein.

• muss für eine ausreichende Ventilation gesorgt werden. Decken Sie die Lüftungsöffnungen nicht

ab. Wenn die Eigenwärme nicht abgeführt wird, kann das Gerät beschädigt oder brennbare

Materialien in unmittelbarer Nähe können entzündet werden. Achten Sie daher darauf, dass die Luft

durch die Lüftungsöffnungen frei zirkulieren kann und halten Sie brennbare Materialien fern.

• dürfen Sie keine Gegenstände in die Lüftungs- und andere Öffnungen stecken. Sie könnten das

Gerät beschädigen und/oder sich verletzen.

• muss bei Einbau in ein 19"-Rack jeweils über und unter dem Gerät 1 HE freibleiben für eine aus-

reichende Luftzirkulation.

6. Coretis Software - Installation

Mit der Coretis Software können Sie den Signalprozessor Coretis über einen PC mit Ethernet-

anbindung konfigurieren. Parametereinstellungen können Sie als Preset speichern. Nach Hochladen

der Konfiguration in den Signalprozessor ist ein PC zum Betrieb nicht mehr notwendig.

• Um die Coretis Software zu installieren, legen Sie die mitgelieferte CD in das CD-Fach des

Computers oder laden Sie die Coretis Software vom Internet unter www.beyerdynamic.de herunter.

• Klicken Sie auf die Datei „setup.exe“, um die Installation zu starten.

• Sobald das Dialogfenster der Benutzerkontensteuerung geöffnet wird, klicken Sie auf die Schalt-

fläche „Yes“ zum Bestätigen.

• Das Setup-Fenster der Coretis Software wird geöffnet.

• Klicken Sie auf die Schaltfläche „Next“, um mit der Installation fortzufahren. Folgen Sie während

der Installationsphase den Anweisungen auf dem Bildschirm.

5. Do not use this apparatus near water.

6. Clean only with a damp or dry cloth.

7. Do not install near any heat sources such as radiators, heat registers, stoves, or other apparatus

(including ampliﬁers) that produce heat.

8. Protect the power cord from being walked on or pinched particularly at plugs, convenience

receptacles, and the point where they exit from the apparatus.

9. Only use attachments/accessories speciﬁed by the manufacturer.

10. Unplug this apparatus during lightning storms or when unused for long periods of time.

11. Refer all servicing to qualiﬁed service personnel. Servicing is required when the apparatus has

been damaged in any way, such as power supply cord or plug is damaged, liquid has been spilled

or objects have fallen into the apparatus, the apparatus has been exposed to rain or moisture, does

not operate normally, or has been dropped.

• This is a class A product. In a domestic environment this product may cause radio interference

in which case the user may be required to take adequate measures!

Location

• The equipment must be set up so that the mains switch, mains plug and all connections on the

rear of the device are easily accessible.

• If you transport the equipment to another location take care to ensure that it is adequately secured

and can never be damaged by being dropped or by impacts on the equipment.

Ventilation

• This equipment needs adequate ventilation. Do not cover ventilation grilles. If the heat it generates

cannot be dissipated, the equipment could be damaged or flammable materials in its immediate

vicinity could be ignited. Take care to ensure that the air can circulate freely through the

ventilation grilles and keep flammable materials away.

• Do not insert objects into the ventilation grilles or other openings. You could damage the

equipment and/or injure yourself.

Fire hazard

• Never place naked flames (e.g. candles) near the equipment.

Humidity / heat sources

• Never expose the equipment to rain or a high level of humidity. For this reason do not install it in

the immediate vicinity of swimming pools, showers, damp basement rooms or other areas with

unusually high atmospheric humidity.

• Never place objects containing liquid (e.g. vases or drinking glasses) on the equipment. Liquids

in the equipment could cause a short circuit.

Connection

• The equipment must be connected to a mains socket that has an earth contact (protection class 1).

• Protect the power cord from being walked on or pinched particularly at plugs, convenience

r eceptacles, and the point where they exit from the apparatus.

• Lay all connection cables so that they do not present a trip hazard.

• Whenever working on the inputs and outputs of the equipment switch off power.

• Check whether the connection figures comply with the existing mains supply. Serious damage

could occur due to connecting the system to the wrong power supply. An incorrect mains voltage

could damage the equipment or cause an electric shock.

• Please note that different operating voltages require the use of different types of power cable and

plugs.

Please refer to the following table:

• If the equipment causes a blown fuse or a short circuit, disconnect it from the mains and have it

checked and repaired.

• Do not hold the mains cable with wet hands. There must be no water or dust on the contact pins.

In both cases you could receive an electric shock.

• The mains cable must be firmly connected. If it is loose there is a fire hazard.

• Always pull out the mains cable from the mains and/or from the equipment by the plug – never by

the cable. The cable could be damaged and cause an electric shock or fire.

• Do not use the equipment if the mains plug is damaged.

• If you connect defective or unsuitable accessories, the equipment could be damaged. Only use

connection cables available from or recommended by beyerdynamic. If you use cables you have

made up yourself, all claim to warranty is null and void.

Switching off

• Switch off the device with the power switch on the rear of the device.

Disconnect

• Disconnect the power plug from the power socket. Never pull the cable, but the plug. For

pluggable equipment, the socket-outlet shall be installed near the equipment and shall be easily

accessible.

Maintenance

• Only clean the equipment with a slightly damp or dry cloth. Never use solvents as these damage

the surface.

Troube shooting and servicing

• Do not open the equipment without authorisation. You could receive an electric shock. There are

no user-serviceable parts inside.

• Leave all service work to authorised expert personnel.

3. Introduction

Thank you for selecting the digital Coretis signal processor. Please take some time to read carefully

through this manual before using the product.

Coretis is a digital signal processor for audio signals. 8 analogue mono, 2 analogue stereo inputs and

8 analogue outputs allow using Coretis for almost any application in professional installations.

Additionally, there are 8 digital input and output channels available via the AVB network. The fixed

DSP structure and the simple user interface enable a fast and intuitive configuration. Coretis provide

a large number of audio processing functions such as auto mixer, 4-band equalizer, high and low pass

filter, ducker, leveler, compressor/limiter, delay and tone generator.

5. Installation of the Signal Processor

The Coretis signal processor is suitable for an installation into a 19" rack +, but it can also be placed

on a table. When setting up the system, please follow the safety instructions mentioned in chapter 1.

Furthermore, please note

• the ambient temperature of the installation site must not exceed 40 °C.

• there must not be exceeding dust and humidity at the installation site (pollution degree 2).

• that the unit is not exposed to direct sunlight.

• the connections must be protected against direct access during operation.

• that there must be a strain relief of the cables (if necessary external fixtures).

• the installation site must be protected against vibrations.

• that the device needs adequate ventilation. Do not cover ventilation grilles. If the heat it generates

cannot be dissipated, the equipment could be damaged or flammable materials in its immediate

vicinity could be ignited. Take care to ensure that the air can circulate freely through the ventilation

grilles and keep flammable materials away.

• that you must not insert objects into the ventilation grilles or other openings. You could damage the

equipment and/or injure yourself.

• that when installing into a 19" rack you must leave 1 U above and below the device to ensure

sufficient ventilation.

6. Coretis Software – Installation

By using the Coretis software you can configure the Coretis signal processor via a PC with Ethernet

connection. You can save parameter settings as a preset. After uploading the configuration into the

signal processor, a PC is no longer required for operation.

• In order to install the Coretis software, put the supplied CD into the CD-ROM slot of your computer

or download the Coretis software from the internet at www.beyerdynamic.com.

• Select the “setup.exe” file to start the installation.

• When the dialogue window of the user account control is opened, select the “Yes” button to confirm.

• The setup window of the Coretis software is opened.

• Select the “Next” button to continue with the installation. During installation follow the instructions

displayed on the screen.

• For more information on how to use the Coretis software, please refer to the separate “Coretis –

Sotfware” manual.

Use Coretis always with the latest software so that you can benefit from all improvements and new

un poêle ou d’autres appareils (dont les ampliﬁcateurs) produisant de la chaleur.

8. Proteger le cordon d’alimentation aﬁn que personne ne marche dessus et que rien ne le pince,

en particulier au niveau des ﬁches, des prises de courant et du point de sortie de l’appareil.

9. Utiliser uniquement les accessoires spéciﬁés par le fabricant.

10. Débrancher l’appareil pendant les orages ou quand il ne sera pas utilisé pendant longtemps.

11. Conﬁer toute réparation à du personnel qualiﬁé. Des réparations sont nécessaires si l’appareil est

endommagé de quelque façon que ce soit, comme par exemple: cordon ou prise d’alimentation

endommagé, liquide renversé ou objet tombé à l’interieur de l’appareil, exposition de l’appareil

à la pluie ou à l’humidité, appareil qui ne marche pas normalement ou que l’on a fait tomber.

Emplacement

• L’appareil doit être placé de sorte à permettre un accès aisé à l’interrupteur secteur, à la fiche

Ventilation

Danger d’incendie

pénétrant dans l’appareil peut en effet provoquer un court-circuit.

• N’installez jamais et ne faites jamais fonctionner l’appareil à proximité directe de radiateurs,

d’installations d’éclairage ou autres appareils dégageant de la chaleur.

Connexion

• L’appareil doit être raccordé à une prise correctement mise à la terre (classe de protection 1).

• Posez les câbles de façon à ce qu’ils ne soient pas courbés, voire coupés pas des objets coupants.

• Posez les câbles de telle sorte qu’on ne puisse trébucher dessus et se blesser.

• Déconnectez toujours l’alimentation de courant avant de procéder à des travaux sur les entrées

et les sorties.

• Vérifiez si les puissances connectées correspondent à l’alimentation secteur existante. Un

raccordement du système à la mauvaise alimentation en courant risque de provoquer de graves

dommages. Une mauvaise alimentation peut endommager l’appareil ou provoquer un choc

électrique.

• N’oubliez pas que les installations électriques de tensions différentes nécessitent des fiches et

cordons secteur différents.

Consultez pour cela le tableau ci-dessous:

• En cas de court-circuit ou d’endommagement de fusible lors de l’utilisation de l’appareil veuillez

couper l’alimentation secteur et faire examiner et réparer l’appareil.

• Ne manipulez pas le câble d’alimentation avec des mains humides, eau et poussière ne doivent

d’autre part pas recouvrir les contacts dorés. Dans les deux cas, vous pourriez subir un choc

électrique.

• Le câble d’alimentation doit être fermement raccordé, s’il est lâche, il y a risque d’incendie.

• Ne retirez le câble du secteur et/ou de l’appareil que par sa prise, jamais en tirant sur le cordon.

Vous pourriez endommager le câble et provoquer un choc électrique ou un incendie.

• N’allumez pas l’appareil si le câble d’alimentation est endommagé.

• Ne raccordez jamais d’accessoires défectueux ou inappropriés, l’appareil pourrait être

endommagé. N’employez que des câbles recommandés et pouvant être livrés par beyerdynamic.

La garantie ne s’applique pas en cas d’utilisation de câbles que vous auriez confectionnés vous-

mêmes.

Mise hors tension

• Éteignez l’appareil via l’interrupteur secteur situé sur la face arrière.

Débrancher du secteur

• Retirez le câble d’alimentation de la prise secteur sans tirer sur le câble. Veillez à ce que la prise

secteur se situe à proximité de l’appareil et soit facilement accessible.

Nettoyage

• Nettoyez l’appareil uniquement à l’aide d’un chiffon sec ou légèrement humidifié. N’utilisez

jamais de solvants. Ces derniers peuvent endommager le dessus de l’appareil.

Entretien

• N’ouvrez jamais de vous-même l’appareil. Vous pourriez subir un choc électrique. Aucune pièce

interne réparable par l’utilisateur.

• Ne confiez la réparation de l’appareil qu’à un technicien spécialiste.

Coretis est un processeur de signal numérique pour signaux audio. Ses 8 entrées mono, 2 entrées

stéréo et 8 sorties, toutes analogiques, permettent de l’utiliser pour quasiment toutes les applications

des installations professionnelles. 8 autres canaux d’entrée et 8 autres de sortie sont disponibles en

mode numérique via le réseau AVB. L’intelligente structure DSP et l’interface simple d’utilisation

permettent une configuration rapide et intuitive. Coretis offre une large sélection de fonctions de

traitement audio telles que automixer, égaliseur 4 bandes, filtres passe-haut et passe-bas, Ducker,

Leveler, compresseur/limiteur, Delay et générateur de sons.

5. Mise en place du processeur de signal

Le processeur de signal est prévu pour un montage dans une baie 19", mais peut également être posé

sur une table. Veuillez observer lors du montage les consignes de sécurité du chapitre 1.

En outre, notamment

• la température de fonctionnement sur le lieu de positionnement ne doit pas excéder 40°C.

• le lieu de positionnement ne doit pas être soumis à une humidité et poussière excessives (degré

d’encrassement 2).

• l’appareil ne doit pas être soumis à un rayonnement solaire direct.

• les raccordements ne doivent pas être d’un accès direct durant le fonctionnement.

• les câbles d’amenée doivent le cas échéant être déchargés de tension par des dispositifs externes.

• le lieu de positionnement doit être protégé contre les vibrations.

• veiller à une ventilation suffisante. Ne couvrez pas les orifices d’aération. La non-évacuation de la

chaleur interne peut endommager l’appareil ou enflammer les matériaux inflammables situés à

proximité immédiate. Veillez donc à ce que l’air circule librement par les orifices d’aération et à tenir

6. Logiciel Coretis - installation

Le logiciel Coretis vous permet de configurer le processeur de signal Coretis via un ordinateur avec

connexion Ethernet. Vous pouvez afficher l’ensemble du système audio sous forme graphique. Les

paramètres peuvent être enregistrés comme présélections. Une fois la configuration chargée dans le

processeur de signal, l’usage d’un ordinateur n’est plus nécessaire.

• Pour installer le logiciel Coretis, insérez le CD fourni dans le lecteur de l’ordinateur ou téléchargez

le logiciel Coretis sur le site internet www.beyerdynamic.com.

• Cliquez sur le fichier « setup.exe » pour lancer l’installation.

• Dès que la fenêtre de dialogue du contrôle de compte d’utilisateur apparaît, cliquez sur « Yes » pour

confirmer.

• La fenêtre de configuration du logiciel Coretis s’ouvre.

• Cliquez sur « Next » pour poursuivre l’installation. Suivez les instructions données à l’écran pendant

la phase d’installation.

• Vous trouverez davantage d’informations relatives à l’utilisation du logiciel Coretis dans la notice

d’utilisation séparée « Coretis – logiciel ».
