SPECIFIC SAFETY PRECAUTIONS
WARNING! DO NOT let comfort or familiarity with product (gained from
repeated use) replace strict adherence to the tool safety rules. If you use
this tool unsafely or incorrectly, you can suffer serious personal injury.
1. Use the correct tool for the job. This tool was designed for a
specific function. Do not modify or alter this tool or use it for
an unintended purpose.
WARNING! All persons not involved in the loading process must stand clear
of the loading ramp and truck / trailer. Make sure no pets are nearby.
WARNING! Do not exceed the ramp’s maximum load capacity of 1,500 lb.
2. Check for damaged parts. Before using the ramp, any part that appears
damaged should be carefully checked to determine that it would operate
properly and perform its intended function. Replace or repair a damaged
ramp immediately.
3. Make proper ground contact and a proper contact point on the vehicle or
trailer being loaded onto. Use your ramp on a solid, level, flat, dry surface.
Make sure that the tongue edge fully contacts the vehicle.
WARNING! Remove tailgate before loading onto a pick-up truck.
4. Always use safety chains to securely fasten the ramp to the vehicle. The
chains will help to prevent the ramp from slipping off of the vehicle.
5. Keep the ramp clean. Before each use, clean dirt, oil, or any debris off of
the ramp.
6. Make certain that no persons or pets are under the ramp or vehicle during
loading.
7. Be aware of dynamic loading. Sudden load movement may briefly exceed
the load capacity, causing product failure.
8. Carefully roll or winch equipment up or down the ramp. Never drive or ride
your equipment while loading or unloading.
9. Make sure that the ramp is aligned with the wheels of the equipment being
loaded or unloaded.
10. Always load or unload on a solid, level surface with the vehicle in gear, the
parking brake engaged, and the engine of the vehicle turned off.
