There are no user-serviceable parts inside. If servicing becomes necessary, within the warranty period, return your waffle
maker to All-Clad. See warranty information for details; do not attempt to repair it yourself.

CAUTION: To ensure continued protection against risk of electrical shock, connect to properly grounded outlets only.
Always follow recommended cooking times when using this electric waffle maker.
NOTE: During the initial use of this appliance, some slight smoke and/or odor may be detected.
This is normal and will stop after a few uses.
ELECTRICAL REQUIREMENTS
The appliance employs a 3-conductor power supply cord with grounding conduct and a grounding type attachment
plug, which is intended to be grounded during use .
If the plug does not fit, contact a qualified electrician. Do not attempt to modify the plug in any way.
A short power-supply cord has been provided to reduce the risk entanglement in or tripping over a long cord.
Extension cords are available and should be used with caution.
If a longer detachable power-supply cord or extension cord is used,
- the marked electrical rating of the cord set or the extension cord should be at least as great
as the electrical rating of the appliance, and
- the cord should be arranged so that it will not drape over the countertop or tabletop
where it can be pulled on by children or tripped over unintentionally,
- the extension cord should be a grounding type 3 wire cord.

• Do not run the waffle maker under water or any other liquid.
• Before using, remove all packaging, stickers or accessories both inside and outside of the appliance.

• Pre-heat the waffle maker 5 to 7 minutes by turning the browness selector to the desired setting (2).
The green light (3) will light up accompanied by a beep, when the waffle maker reaches the desired
cooking temperature.
( For the pre-heating, place the thermostat selector on the chosen cooking position ).
• Each time the waffle maker is used, wait until the green light comes on before pouring batter into
the waffle maker plates.
• Close the waffle maker during the cooking cycle. Do not lock the safety catches on the sides of the waffle maker
when cooking.
• At the back of the waffle maker there is a unique batter tray
(A)
. This tray catches any excess batter.
We recommend emptying this tray when the waffle maker is cold. Use oven mitts if the tray must be emptied
while the appliance is hot and in use

Once the cooking cycle is complete the beep will again sound to let you
know the waffles are ready.

• Clean the back of the waffle plates between cooking operations. Use a nonstick safe kitchen ustensil to remove extra
batter from around the back of the waffle plates
(8) and
to remove the waffle from the waffle maker.
CAUTION: To avoid any risk of injury or accident, check the cord and waffle maker prior to each use.
Do not use the waffle maker if the cord and/or the appliance itself are damaged or are not operating correctly.
• Use the locks to store the waffle maker in a vertical position (10) or when moving the waffle maker.

• Each time the waffle maker is used, wipe a small amount of cooking oil onto the waffle plates, then wipe with
a soft cloth.
• Pour the batter with a ladle into each waffle plates.
• The amount of batter should not go past the separation line between the two cooking plates (9).
• Increase or reduce the waffle color to suit your taste, using the 7-position browning indicator.
• The green light, accompanied by a beep, is an indicator that the waffle maker is ready to use.
The green light goes out and lights up again regularly during cooking process, to show that the selected
temperature is maintained. Depending on the type of batter used, cooking cycle times will vary.
• Some steam will be produced during cooking cycles, this is normal and allows for a fuller waffle.
During the cooking cycle, the top of the waffle maker will drift upward, allowing the waffle batter
to fully expand into the plate cavities. Do not impede this movement. The beep will sound again once the cooking
cycle is complete. This will let you know the waffles are ready. Never lock the waffle maker when in use.
• Cooking time depends on the kind of batter used and the waffle browness desired.
Cooking time typically takes 3 to 5 minutes.

• CAUTION:
Do not immerse the appliance or its cord in water or any other liquid.
NOTE
:
Ensure that the waffle maker is unplugged and has cooled down before starting to clean it.
Do not pour very cold water into the waffle maker when it is hot.
Recommendations for maintaining the waffle maker in good working order:
- Do not overheat the waffle maker, this may cause brown or blue marks to appear on the stainless steel housing.
- Do not leave anything on or near the waffle maker that may melt when the unit is in use.
- If the water used to make the batter or to clean the appliance contains a high amount of iron,
this may cause the waffle maker to corrode.
The waffle maker is not dishwasher safe.
To clean the waffle plates:
- Once the appliance is cold, brush with a non metal brush to remove any crumbs.
- Rinse the plates with a sponge, then wipe with a soft cloth.
- Wash the excess batter tray with a sponge and dish detergent.
DO NOT USE OVEN CLEANERS OR PRODUCTS CONTAINING CHLORINE OR BLEACH.
DO NOT USE STEEL WOOL OR STEEL SCOURING PADS.
To clean the waffle maker exterior:
- Polish using stainless steel cleaners approved for household cooking appliances.
- Follow the instructions for use on the polish; then rinse the outside of the waffle maker with a sponge.
Do not clean this product with aerosol sprays or the like.
DO NOT USE HARSH DETERGENTS OR SCOURING PADS ON THE EXTERIOR
OF THE WAFFLE MAKER AS THIS MAY DAMAGE THE POLISHED FINISH.

The Warranty
This electrical product is guaranteed by All-Clad for a period of 2 years against any manufacturing defect in materials or workmanship,
starting from the initial date of purchase.
The All-Clad warranty covers all costs related to restoring the proven defective product so that it conforms to its original
specifications, through the repair or replacement of any defective part and the necessary labor. At All-Clad’s choice, a replacement
product may be provided instead of repairing a defective product. All-Clads sole obligation and your exclusive resolution under this
warranty are limited to such repair or replacement.
Conditions & Exclusions
The All-Clad warranty only applies within the United States and Canada, and is valid only on presentation of a proof of purchase.
For warranty service please contact All-Clad Consumer Service using the appropriate toll free number or website listed below. A
consumer service representative will personally assist you with the evaluation, repair or replacement of your product at the closest All-
Clad service center.
This warranty will not cover any damage which could occur as a result of misuse, negligence, failure to follow All-Clad instructions,
use on current or voltage other than as stamped on the product, or a modification or unauthorized repair of the product. It also does
not cover normal tear and wear, maintenance or replacement of consumable parts, and the following:
-using the wrong type of water or consumable
-scaling (any de-scaling must be carried out according to the instructions for use);
-ingress of water, dust or insects into the product;
-mechanical damages, overloading

This warranty does not apply to any product that has been tampered with, or to damages incurred through improper use and care,
faulty packaging by the owner or mishandling by any carrier.
The All-Clad manufacturer's warranty applies only for products purchased and used in USA & Canada. Where a product is purchased
in one country and then used in another one:
a) The All-Clad guarantee does not apply in case of non conformity of the purchased product with the local standards, such as
voltage, frequency, power plugs, or other local technical specifications
b) The repair process for products purchased outside the country of use may require a longer time if the product is not locally sold
by All-Clad
c) In cases where the product is not repairable in the new country, the All-Clad guarantee is limited to a replacement by a similar
product or an alternative product at similar cost, where possible.
Consumer Statutory Rights
This All-Clad manufacturer's warranty does not affect the statutory rights a consumer may have or those rights that cannot be
excluded or limited, nor rights against the retailer from which the consumer purchased the product. This warranty gives a consumer
specific legal rights, and the consumer may also have other legal rights which vary from State to State or Country to Country or
Province to Province. The consumer may assert any such rights at his sole discretion.

Lors de l’utilisation d’appareils électriques, certaines règles de sécurité de base doivent toujours être respectées,
dont les suivantes :
1. Lire toutes les instructions.
2. Ne pas toucher les surfaces chaudes. Utiliser les poignées et les boutons. Toujours utiliser des gants.

Cet appareil est conçu pour un USAGE DOMESTIQUE UNIQUEMENT.
Aucun élément ne peut être réparé par l’utilisateur. Si une réparation s’avère nécessaire, au cours de la période de garantie,

Ne jamais essayer de réparer vous-même votre gaufrier.
ATTENTION : Pour éviter toute brûlure ou tout risque d’incendie, toujours débrancher ce gaufrier
ainsi que les autres appareils électriques lorsqu’il n’est pas utilisé.
ATTENTION : Pour éviter tout risque de choc électrique, brancher l’appareil uniquement dans des prises reles à la terre.
Toujours respecter les temps de cuisson recommandés.
NOTE : Lors de la première utilisation, un léger dégagement de fumée et/ou d’odeur peut se produire.
Ceci est normal et disparaîtra après quelques utilisations.
A PROPOS DU CORDON ELECTRIQUE :
Votre appareil est équipé d'un cordon d'alimentation avec prise 2 pôles + terre qui doit être branchée dans une prise
murale adaptée. Si la prise ne rentre pas, contactez un électricien.
N’essayez en aucune façon de modifier la prise.
• Le cordon électrique fourni est court afin d’éviter que quelqu’un trébuche dedans.
• Des rallonges électriques sont disponibles et doivent être utilisés avec précaution.
• Si une rallonge électrique est utilisée :
- elle doit être d’un calibre au moins égal à celui de l’appareil,
- la rallonge ne doit pas pendre d’une table, elle pourrait être tirée par un enfant ou faire trébucher quelqu’un.
- la rallonge doit avoir une prise de terre de type 3.

ATTENTION : Ne jamais plonger l’appareil, le cordon et sa prise dans l’eau ou dans tout autre liquide.
• Ne pas passer le gaufrier sous l'eau ou tout autre liquide.
• Enlever tous les emballages, autocollants ou accessoires divers à l’intérieur comme à l’extérieur de l’appareil
avant usage.
• Récupérer le bac récupérateur de pâte dans l'emballage (0).
• Toujours utiliser le gaufrier sur une surface plane, sèche et résistante à la chaleur.
• Vérifiez que vos mains soient sèches quand vous utilisez l’appareil.
Ne pas placer l’appareil sur ou près des surfaces glissantes ou chaudes, ni laisser le cordon pendre au-dessus
d’une source de chaleur.
Vérifier que le thermostat (D) soit positionné sur la position mini , puis brancher le cordon sur une prise murale,
UNIQUEMENT sur une prise à 120V avec courant alternatif.
Déverrouiller l’appareil à l’aide des deux loquets de sécurité (B) sur les côtés du gaufrier (7).
Ne jamais manipuler les loquets lorsque l’appareil est chaud.
Toujours déverrouiller le gaufrier avant de le brancher.
Le voyant rouge (1) s’allume pour indiquer que le produit est branché.
• Toujours ouvrir le gaufrier avec la poignée (C) lorsque l’appareil est chaud.
• La poignée reste froide pendant tout le temps de la cuisson (4).
Ne pas toucher les parties métalliques lorsque l’appareil est chaud (5).
