Glass Break Sensor
ln-app Setup
1.
Make sure
your
Ring Alarm is disarmed.
2.
In
the
Ring
app,
open
the
menu. Tap Set
Up
a Device,
then
tap
Security,
tap
Sensor, and
find
the
Glass Break Sensor.
3.
Follow
the
in-app
instructions
to
complete
setup.
Installation
We
suggest
mounting
the
Glass Break Sensor
at
least 7'
(2m)
off
the
ground,
and
close
to
your
glass
windows
and
doors.
Wall. Use
the
included
mounting
tape, clean
the
area,
then
peel
the
backing
and
stick
the
Sensor. Press
it
to
the
wall
and
hold
for
20
seconds
to
make sure
the
tape
is
securely attached.
Ceiling. Use
the
included
screws
and
anchors. First
remove
the
back
cover
and
set
the
Sensor aside. Screw the back
cover
to
the
ceiling.
To
·
mount
the
Sensor,
twist
it
onto
the
back cover,
and
secure
it
in place.

Shelf.
If
mounting
it
on
a
shelf
or
piece
of
furniture,
it
does
not
need
to
be
attached. Just place
it
out
of
reach where
it
won't
be
knocked over.
