Battery Information
The 2-way remote ASDS-2110*, is powered by two coin cell
batteries (CR-2016), and the 1-way remote ASDS-1110, is pow-
ered by a single coin cell battery (CR-2016). Operating range
diminishes as battery charge depletes.
Low Battery Alert
When unlocking the vehicle using a remote control with a low
battery charge, the system provides a notification by emitting a
third horn honk output (if connected). If confirmation chirps are
programmed off, the system still emits one horn honk when unlock-
ing. After performing a command with the remote control, sever-
al beeps play to indicate the battery/batteries need replacing.
Once the alerts begin, the remote control will remain operational
for several days but the battery/batteries should be replaced at
the earliest opportunity or failure to control the system may occur.
Battery Replacement
1. Unscrew the hardware on unit rear and remove from hous-
ing (if present).
2. Use a small flat blade screwdriver and insert it into the slot
located along the bottom of the remote, near the key ring.
Carefully pry open the case.
3. Gently slide out the used battery/batteries to remove it from
the holding clip. Orient the new battery for the correct polar-
ity and insert into holding clip.
4. Realign the case parts and snap together by pressing firmly
and evenly on the front and back. Reinstall screw (if present).
