WARNING! Read and understand all instructions before using this tool. The operator must
follow basic precautions to reduce the risk of personal injury and / or damage to the
equipment. Before allowing someone else to use this tool, make sure they are aware of all
safety information.

NOTE: Keep this manual for the safety warnings, precautions and operating, inspection and
maintenance instructions. When this manual refers to a part number, it refers to the included parts
list.
WARNING!
1. The appliance is not a toy, and must be kept out of children's hands.
2. Before cleaning the appliance or changing the filter, always remove the power lead plug from the
socket. Unscrewing the housing is not permitted.
3. This appliance is not intended for use by persons (including children) with reduced physical,
sensory or mental capabilities, or lack of experience and knowledge, unless they have been given
supervision or instruction concerning use of the appliance by a person responsible for their safety.
4. Return to professional for cord replacement or service.
On first use, the soldering iron may produce smoke; this is just grease used in manufacturing
burning off, it is not harmful to the product or user.
1. The construction of the soldering station meets Protection Level I. Ensure the ground conductor is
not disconnected and the product is only connected to grounded sockets.
2. Keep electrical appliances and accessories away from children! They are not toys.
3. Never use the product immediately after it has been brought in from the cold into a warm room.
4. Condensation might destroy your device; Wait until the product is at room temperature before use.
Never touch the appliance with damp or wet hands; there is the risk of a dangerous electrical shock.
5. Make sure to have sufficient ventilation while soldering; solder or solder flux can be harmful.
6. Wash your hands thoroughly after working with solder containing lead. Do not ingest solder
containing lead; do not eat while working.
7. The power cables (power cable and cable to soldering iron) have to be protected against heat and
sharp edges.
8. Wear appropriate protective clothing and safety goggles while soldering.
9. Do not touch any other area but the handle when the soldering iron is working. It is very hot!
10. Do not leave children alone in the presence of the soldering iron.
11. Soldering must be done on non-combustible surfaces. Make sure any material in the vicinity
cannot be damaged by the heat.
12. When the device can no longer be operated safely, disconnect it immediately and secure it
against being operated unintentionally.
13. It can be assumed that safe operation is no longer possible if:
a. the device exhibits visible damage
b. the device no longer works
c. it has been stored for a long time under unfavorable conditions
d. the device was exposed to extraordinary stress caused by transport
