Warranty Terms
1. LEVANA products are guaranteed for a period of one year from the date of purchase against defects in
workmanship and materials. This warranty is limited to the repair, replacement or refund of the purchase
price at LEVANAs option.
2. This warranty becomes void if the product shows evidence of having been misused, mishandled or
tampered with contrary to the applicable instruction manual.
3. Routine cleaning, normal cosmetic and mechanical wear and tear are not covered under the terms of this
warranty.
4. The warranty expressly provided for herein is the sole warranty provided in connection with the product
itself and no other warranty, expressed or implied is provided. LEVANA assumes no responsibilities for
any other claims not specically mentioned in this warranty.
5. This warranty does not cover the shipping cost, insurance or any other incidental charges.
6. You MUST call LEVANA before sending any product back for repair. You will be sent a Return Authorization
form with return instructions. When returning the product for warranty service, please pack it carefully
in the original box with all supplied accessories, and enclose your original receipt or copy, and a brief
explanation of the problem (include RA #).
7. This warranty is valid only in Canada and the continental U.S.

Temperature Monitoring to Ensure Safety
Many studies indicate that your babys room should be between 61°-68° F (16°-20° C). This camera
is equipped so you can monitor the temperature in your baby’s room and know that they are always
safe and comfortable.
Talk to Baby™ Intercom
Soothe your baby from a distance with the Talk to Baby™ intercom. With the simple press of a button
you can let your baby know you are on your way to their nursery or simply talk to them until they fall
back to sleep without having to go into his or her room.
Night Vision
The built-in night vision allows you to see your child, in complete darkness. When the lights go out
the system automatically adjusts to the level of light. With 10ft of night vision range, the camera
can be placed anywhere in your childs room while still displaying a precise image of your baby.

Relaxing Night Light
The camera has a gentle night light that you are able to turn on and o from the parent unit (not
included). Turn the light on if your baby is getting restless to calm them and turn it o when your
baby is asleep, all without going into the baby’s room.
Energy Ecient Power Adapter
The power adapter saves you on power all while saving the environment. It is rated with a Level V
eciency standard which means it is 30% more energy ecient than other conventional power
adapters.
Wall Mount for the Best Viewing Angle
The camera can be wall mounted so you can easily view your baby in its crib as well as see all other

Disclaimers
1. Optimum range is 150ft when signal is passing through walls or oors. Microwave ovens (when in use) may cause signal
disruption at close range. Buildings with metal frames may also cause signal disruption. Maximum transmission range is 450ft.
2. Night vision range up to 10ft under ideal conditions. Objects at or beyond this range may be partially or completely obscured,
depending on the camera application.

MOUNTING THE CAMERA
Placing the Baby Camera
This camera can be placed on a tabletop or hung from a screw on the wall
above the area being monitored. Place the camera within ten feet of the area being monitored for
best picture, and to ensure that everything will be visible with the IR LEDs on.
Note: It is unsafe to mount the camera directly on the crib or anywhere within 3 feet of it.
Power cords should NEVER be left within babys reach.
To Mount on a Tabletop Safely:
1. Place the camera on a tabletop no less than 3 feet away from
your babys crib.
2. Feed the power cord down the back of the table or use wall
clips to secure the cord away so baby cannot reach.
3. Plug in the power cord, check to ensure that you are getting a
good view of your child and there are no obstructions.
To Mount on a Wall Safely:
Before drilling a hole, it is important to check the reception and camera positioning in the place that
you intend on hanging it to the wall. Ensure you are hanging the camera no less than 3 feet away
from babys crib.
1. Pre-drill a hole in the wall using a 3/16, 4.8mm
drill bit.
2. Insert a wall anchor into the wall and tap gently with a
hammer until the anchor is ush with the wall.
3. Insert a screw into the wall anchor and tighten until the
screw only sticks out about 1/2 inch.
4. Plug the power cord into the power jack of the camera.
5. Locate the wall mounting hole on the bottom or back of
the camera.
6. Slide the hole over the screw sticking out of the wall.
7. Check to see that the camera is secure, if it is loose you may
have to tighten the screw more.
8. Use wall clips to secure the power cord away from the crib or
baby’s reach.

Battery Operation
The camera unit can be powered using 4 AAA batteries instead of the
included AC adapter.
1. Remove the battery compartment cover on the bottom of the camera base, using a small
phillips (cross) head screwdriver.
2. Place 4 AAA batteries (not included) in the compartment, paying attention to the labelled
polarity markings.
3. Replace the battery compartment cover using the small screwdriver.
Attaching Power to the Camera
1. Connect the AC adapter to the transmitter as shown in the diagram.
2. Connect the small end into the DC Jack on the back of the camera, connect the other end of the
adapter into an available wall outlet.
SETTING UP YOUR SYSTEM
Note: The power LED will ash when the battery charge is low.
Note: This camera is meant to be used in conjunction with the LV-TW501 Digital Baby Monitor
system. You cannot use this camera with any other system. For details on how to connect
your additional camera to a parent unit, please see the pairing instructions on page 10.

CAMERA OPERATION
Switching the Camera ON/OFF
Position the camera to view the area you wish to monitor,
angle the camera lens for best view, by turning it up or
down.
1. Slide the power switch
to the ON position.
2. The Power LED on the front of the camera will light
up green. The camera is now ready to operate.
3. To turn OFF the camera, ip the power switch
back to the OFF position
Note: If you are using batteries to power the camera unit, and it does not start up when the
power switch is in the ON position, you may need to replace the batteries. The Power
LED will ash slowly when the batteries have low power.
Night Vision
The camera is equipped with eight IR (infrared) LEDs. These LEDs, located on the front of the camera,
allow you to see up to ten feet in complete darkness. Allowing you to check your baby at any time
of night.The night vision LEDs will activate automatically when the camera detects that light levels
are low.
Night Light
The camera has a calming night light included, you must use the parent unit (sold separately) to
turn on this night light. You will nd detailed instructions on how to adjust the settings of your baby
monitor in the instruction manual included with the LV-TW501 system.

PAIRING THE DEVICES
The camera must be paired (connected) to a monitor (parent unit not
included). The monitor comes with the LV-TW501 packaged system. Please see
our website at www.mylevava.com or call our support team at 1-866-946-7828 if you cannot
connect your camera with a monitor, or if you need to purchase a monitor.
1. Slide the power switch
on the right hand side
of the camera to the OFF position.
2. Cover the light sensor on the front of the camera with
your nger or a cloth.
3. Slide the power switch
on the camera to the
ON position.
4. With the monitor switched on, press and hold the
play/pause button
for two seconds.
5. The pair icon
will appear on the screen and
the power LED on the camera will blink for a few
seconds.
6. Press the menu button
on the monitor to
conrm the setting.
7. C1... OK! will appear when the camera and monitor
are paired successfully and then the video and audio
will be transmitted automatically.
Note: If “C1...X” appears (pair failed) instead of “C1...OK!” you will have to remove all sources
of power from the camera and monitor and start the pairing process over again.
