Changing Batteries
Only use alkaline batteries. Do not use zinc-carbon batteries. If the meter will not be
2 x AAA
used for a long time, remove the batteries as a protection against corrosion. Change
batteries when the battery symbol begins ashing. To change the batteries:
1. Unsnap the belt clip from the meter using the belt clip detent.
2. Press in the tab and lift out the battery door.
3. Insert two AAA batteries according to the polarity marked in the compartment.
4. Install the battery door and belt clip.
Selecting Units
Press the measure button
for 2 seconds to toggle between feet and meters.
Turning ON/OFF
Press the power button
to turn the meter on and off.
The backlight turns off after 30 seconds of inactivity; press any button to turn back
on. The meter will turn off after 1 minute of inactivity.
Measuring
To take a measurement, turn on the meter and point the laser at the target. A live reading is displayed. To
freeze the measurement, press the measure button
. Press the measure button again to begin another
live reading. The previous measurements are moved up into the history elds.
NOTE: On some target surfaces: Measuring errors can occur when measuring on some target surfaces, such
as colourless liquids, glass, Styrofoam or semi-permeable surfaces or when aiming at high gloss surfaces.
Error Message
If the error code 500 appears on the display, turn the meter off and back on. If the problem continues, return
the tool to the nearest service center for inspection.
Care
• Clean the tool with a damp, soft cloth.
• Never immerse the device in water.
• Never use aggressive cleaning agents or solvents.

Every MILWAUKEE Laser Distance Meter (model nos. 48-22-9801, -9802, and -9803) is warranted to the original purchaser
only to be free from defects in material and workmanship. Subject to certain exceptions, MILWAUKEE will repair or replace any
part on this meter which, after examination, is determined by MILWAUKEE to be defective in material or workmanship for a period
of three (3) years* after the date of purchase unless otherwise notes. Return of the meter to a MILWAUKEE factory Service
Center, freight prepaid and insured, is required. A copy of the proof of purchase should be included with the return product.
This warranty does not apply to damage that MILWAUKEE determines to be from repairs made or attempted by anyone other
than MILWAUKEE authorized personnel, misuse, alterations, abuse, normal wear and tear, lack of maintenance, or accidents.
*Alkaline batteries that ship with the Laser Distance Meter is not warranted by MILWAUKEE.

This warranty is not valid in the following situations
a) When the product is used in a different manner from the end-user guide or instruction manual.

Remplacement des piles
Utiliser uniquement des piles alcalines. Ne pas utiliser des piles au zinc-carbone. En
2 x AAA
cas d’entreposage pour une longue durée, retirer les piles en vue de protéger l'appareil
contre la corrosion. Remplacer les piles dès que le symbole de piles commence
à clignoter. Pour remplacer les piles :
1. Détacher le clip de ceinture du dispositif de mesure à l’aide du cran de clip de
ceinture.
2. Appuyer sur la languette et soulever la porte du compartiment des piles.
3. Insérer deux piles AAA, en respectant la polarité indiquée sur le compartiment des
piles.
4. Installer la porte du compartiment des piles et le clip de ceinture.
Choix des unités
Appuyer sur le bouton de mesure pendant 2 secondes pour basculer entre pieds
et mètres.
Mise en marche et à l’arrêt
Appuyer sur le bouton d’alimentation an de mettre l’appareil en marche ou à l’arrêt.
L’éclairage de fond s‘éteint automatiquement après 30 secondes d’inactivité, appuyer sur n’importe quel bouton
pour l'allumer. Le dispositif de mesure s’éteint automatiquement après 1 minute d’inactivité.
Prise de mesure
Pour prendre une mesure, mettre le dispositif en marche et diriger le laser vers la cible. La mesure réelle
s’afche. Pour ger la lecture, appuyer sur le bouton de mesure. Appuyer sur le bouton de mesure de nou-
veau pour prendre une autre mesure réelle. La mesure précédente sera déplacée aux champs de l’historique.
REMARQUE : sur certaines surfaces cibles : les erreurs de mesure peuvent se produire sur certaines
surfaces cibles, telles que les liquides incolores, le verre, la styromousse, les surfaces semi-perméables
ou les surfaces brillantes
Message d’erreur
Si l’écran afche le code d’erreur 500, tourner le compteur et rallumez-le. Si le problème persiste, renvoyez
l’outil au centre de service le plus proche pour inspection.
Entretien
• Nettoyer l’outil avec un chiffon doux et humide.
• Ne jamais immerger l’appareil dans l’eau.
• Ne jamais utiliser des agents de nettoyage ou des solvants agressifs.

Procédure pour assurer la validité de la garantie
Présenter le produit au centre de réparations agréé, accompagné du bon de garantie estampillé du sceau du distributeur ou
du magasin où le produit a été acheté. Toute pièce défectueuse ou tout composant défectueux sera remplacé(e) sans frais.
Milwaukee assume tous les frais de transport liés à ce processus de garantie.
Exceptions

2. NO PERMITA QUE OPEREN ESTA HERRAMIENTA PERSONAS QUE NO ESTÉN FAMILIARIZADAS
CON EL APARATO, ESTAS INSTRUCCIONES DE SEGURIDAD Y EL MANUAL DEL OPERADOR DE LA
HERRAMIENTA. Este aparato puede ser peligroso en manos de usuarios sin capacitación.

6. LUZ LÁSER - NO MIRE FIJAMENTE AL RAYO NI LO VEA DIRECTAMENTE CON INSTRUMENTOS
ÓPTICOS. No dirija la luz láser a otras personas. La luz láser puede causar daño a los ojos.

EL CONTACTO. SI OCURRE UN CONTACTO ACCIDENTAL, ENJUAGUE CON AGUA. SI EL LÍQUIDO

STICOS! Los aparatos y las baterías que hayan llegado al final de su vida deben recolectarse por separado

Use solamente baterías alcalinas. No utilice baterías de zinc-carbón. Si no se usará el
2 x AAA
distanciómetro durante mucho tiempo, retire las baterías como protección anticorrosiva.
Cambie las baterías cuando el símbolo de baterías empiece a parpadear. Para
cambiar las baterías:
1. Abra el broche del cinturón del distanciómetro con el retén broche del cinturón.
2. Presione la pestaña y levante la puerta de la batería.
3. Inserte dos baterías AAA de acuerdo con la polaridad marcada en el compartimiento.
4. Instale la puerta de la batería y broche del cinturón.
Selección de unidades
Presione el botón para medir durante 2 segundos para cambiar entre pies y
metros.
Encendido y apagado en ON/OFF
Presione el botón de encendido del distanciómetro para encender o apagar.
La retroiluminación se apaga después de 30 segundos de inactividad; presione cualquier botón para encenderlo
de nuevo. El distanciómetro se apagará después de 1 minuto de actividad.
Medición
Tome una medición, encienda el distanciómetro y apunte el láser al blanco. Se desplegará una lectura en
vivo. Para congelar la medición, oprima el botón de medición. Oprima de nuevo el botón de medición
para hacer otra lectura en vivo. Las mediciones anteriores se mueven a los campos de historial.
NOTA: en algunas supercies de blanco: puede haber errores de medición cuando se miden algunas
supercies de blanco, como líquidos incoloros, vidrio, espuma de estireno o supercies semi permeables,
o cuando se apunta a supercies muy brillantes.
Mensaje de error
Si en la pantalla aparece el código de error 500, apague el medidor y vuelva a. Si el problema continúa, envíe
su herramienta al centro de servicio más cercano para su inspección.

• Nunca use agentes de limpieza agresivos o solventes.

comprador original por defectos en materiales y mano de obra. Sujeto a ciertas excepciones, MILWAUKEE reparará o reem

plazará cualquier parte en este distanciómetro que tenga defectos de material o mano de obra según lo determine MILWAUKEE
mediante una revisión, por un periodo de tres (3) años* después de la fecha de compra a menos que se indique lo contrario. Se
solicita la devolución del distanciómetro al Centro de Servicio de la fábrica de MILWAUKEE con el ete prepagado y asegurado.

Excepciones
