PRECAUTIONS TO AVOID POSSIBLE EXPOSURE TO

EXCESSIVE MICROWAVE ENERGY

•Do not attempt to operate this oven with the door open since this can result in

harmful exposure to microwave energy. It is important not to defeat or tamper with

the safety interlocks.

•Do not place any object between the oven front face and the door or allow soil or

cleaner residue to accumulate on sealing surfaces.

•Do not operate the oven if it is damaged. It is particularly important that the oven

door closes properly and that there is no damage to the:

–Door (bent)

–Hinges and latches (broken or loosened)

–Door seals and sealing surface

•The oven should not be adjusted or repaired by anyone except properly qualified

service personnel.

1.1 IMPORTANT SAFETY

INSTRUCTIONS

When using electrical appliances basic

safety precautions should be followed,

including the following:

1. Read all instructions before using the

appliance.

Connect only to properly grounded out-

4. Install or locate this appliance only in

tion instructions.

and sealed containers - for example,

closed glass jars - are able to explode

and should not be heated in this oven.

6. Use this appliance only for its intend-

ed use as described in the manual. Do

not use corrosive chemicals or vapors

in this appliance. This type of oven is

specifically designed to heat, cook or

dry food. It is not designed for industri-

al or laboratory use.

8. Do not operate this appliance if it has a

damaged cord or plug, if it is not work-

10. Do not cover or block any openings

on the appliance.

Do not use this product near water

16. To reduce the risk of fire in the oven

cavity:

–Do not overcook food. Carefully at-

tend appliance when paper, plastic,

or other combustible materials are

placed inside the oven to facilitate

cooking.

–Remove wire twist-ties from paper

or plastic bag before placing bag in

oven.

–If material inside of the oven ignite,

keep oven door closed, turn oven

off, and disconnect the power cord,

or shut off power at the fuse or cir-

cuit breaker panel.

–Do not use the cavity for storage

purposes. Do not leave paper pro-

ducts, cooking utensils, or food in

the cavity when not in use.

17. Liquids, such as water, coffee, or tea

are able to be overheated beyond the

boiling point without appearing to be

boiling. Visible bubbling or boiling

when the container is removed from

the microwave oven is not always

present.

THIS COULD RESULT IN VERY HOT

LIQUID SUDDENLY BOILING OVER

WHEN THE CONTAINER IS DISTURBED

OR A UTENSIL IS INSERTED INTO THE

LIQUID.

To reduce the risk of injury to persons:

–Do not overheat the liquid.

–Stir the liquid both before and half-

way through heating it.

–Do not use straight-sided containers

with narrow necks.

–After heating, allow the container to

stand in the microwave oven for a

short time before removing the con-

tainer.

–Use extreme care when inserting a

spoon or other utensil into the con-

tainer.

1.2 GROUNDING

INSTRUCTIONS

Electric Shock Hazard

Touching some of the inter-

nal components can cause

serious personal injury or

death. Do not disassemble

this appliance.

Electric Shock Hazard

Improper use of the ground-

ing can result in electric

shock. Do not plug into an

outlet until appliance is prop-

erly installed and grounded.

Three-pronged (grounding)

plug

This appliance must be grounded. In the

event of an electrical short circuit, ground-

ing reduces the risk of electric shock by

providing an escape wire for the electric

current. This appliance is equipped with a

cord having grounding wire with a ground-

ing plug.

The plug must be plugged into an outlet

that is properly installed and grounded.

BWARNING: Improper use of

the grounding can result in a

risk of electric shock.

Consult a qualified electrician or service-

man if the grounding instructions are not

completely understood or if doubt exists

as to whether the appliance is properly

grounded. If it is necessary to use an ex-

tension cord, use only a 3-wire extension

cord that has a 3-pronged grounding

plug, and a 3-slot receptacle that will ac-

cept the plug on the appliance.

The marked rating of the extension cord

shall be equal to or greater than the elec-

trical rating of the appliance.

•A short power-supply cord is provided

to reduce the risks resulting from be-

coming entangled in or tripping over a

longer cord.

•Longer cord sets or extension cords

are available and may be used if cared

is exercised in their use.

–The marked electrical rating of the

–The longer cord should be arranged

so that it will not drape over the co-

untertop or tabletop where it can be

pulled on by children or tripped over

unintentionally.

1.3 RADIO INTERFERENCE

1. Operation of the microwave oven may

cause interference to your radio, TV or

similar equipment.

2. When there is interference, it may be

reduced or eliminated by taking the fol-

lowing measures:

–Clean door and sealing surface of

the oven

–Reorient the receiving antenna of

radio or television.

–Relocate the microwave oven with

respect to the receiver.

–Move the microwave oven away

from the receiver.

–Plug the microwave oven into a

different outlet so that microwave

oven and receiver are on different

branch circuits.

UTENSILS

Hazard Tightly-closed uten-

sils could explode. Closed

containers should be opened

and plastic pouches should

be pierced before cooking.

See the instructions on “Materials you

can use in microwave oven or to be

avoided in microwave oven.” There may

be certain non-metallic utensils that are

not safe to use for microwaving. If in

doubt, you can test the utensil in ques-

tion following the procedure below.

Utensil Test:

•Fill a microwave-safe container with 1

cup of cold water (250ml) along with

the utensil in question.

•Cook on maximum power for 1 minute.

•Carefully feel the utensil. If the empty

utensil is warm, do not use it for micro-

wave cooking.

•Do not exceed 1 minute cooking time.

Materials you can use in microwave oven

Utensils Remarks

Aluminum foil Shielding only. Small smooth pieces can be used to cover thin parts of meat or poultry to

prevent overcooking. Arcing can occur if foil is too close to oven walls. The foil should be at

least 1 inch (2.5cm) away from oven walls.

Browning dish Follow manufacturer’s instructions. The bottom of browning dish must be at least 3/16

inch (5mm) above the turntable. Incorrect usage may cause the turntable to break.

Dinnerware Microwave-safe only. Follow manufacturer’s instructions. Do not use cracked or chipped

dishes.

Glass jars Always remove lid. Use only to heat food until just warm. Most glass jars are not heat re-

sistant and may break.

Glassware Heat-resistant oven glassware only. Make sure there is no metallic trim. Do not use cracked

or chipped dishes.

Oven cooking bags Follow manufacturer’s instructions. Do not close with metal tie. Make slits to allow steam

to escape.

Paper plates and

cups Use for short–term cooking/warming only. Do not leave oven unattended while cooking.

Paper towels Use to cover food for reheating and absorbing fat. Use with supervision for a short-term

cooking only.

Parchment paper Use as a cover to prevent splattering or a wrap for steaming.

Plastic Microwave-safe only. Follow the manufacturer’s instructions. Should be labeled “Microwa-

ve Safe”. Some plastic containers soften, as the food inside gets hot. “Boiling bags” and

tightly closed plastic bags should be slit, pierced or vented as directed by package.

Plastic wrap Microwave-safe only. Use to cover food during cooking to retain moisture. Do not allow

plastic wrap to touch food.

Thermometers Microwave-safe only (meat and candy thermometers).

Wax paper Use as a cover to prevent splattering and retain moisture.

2 Your microwave oven

3.1 Countertop installation

Remove all packing material and acces-

sories. Examine the oven for any dam-

age such as dents or broken door. Do not

install if oven is damaged.

Cabinet: Remove any protective film

found on the microwave oven cabinet

surface. Do not remove the light brown

Mica cover that is attached to the oven

cavity to protect the magnetron.

3.2 Installation

•Select a level surface that provide eno-

ugh open space for the intake and/or

outlet vents.

•A minimum clearance of 3.0 inches

3 Installation

(7.5cm) is required between the oven

and any adjacent walls. One side must

be open. The minimum installation he-

ight is 3.0ft(91.6cm).

•Leave a minimum clearance of 12 inc-

hes (30cm) above the oven.

•Do not remove the legs from the bot-

tom of the oven.

•Blocking the intake and/or outlet ope-

nings can damage the oven.

•Place the oven as far away from radios

and TV as possible. Operation of mic-

rowave oven may cause interference to

your radio or TV reception.

•Plug your oven into a standard house-

hold outlet. Be sure the voltage and the

frequency is the same as the voltage

and the frequency on the rating label.

2.3 Installing the turntable

• Never place the glass tray upside

down. The glass tray should never be

restricted.

• Both glass tray and turntable support

must always be used during cooking.

•All food and containers of food must

always place on the glass tray for co-

oking.

•If glass tray or turntable support crack

or break, contact your nearest authori-

zed service center.

4.1 Control panel

4.3 Clock setting

1. Press “Clock” once, “00:00” will display.

2. Press the number keys and enter the

current time. For example, time is

10:12 now, please press “1, 0, 1, 2” in

turn.

3. Press “Clock” to finish clock setting. “:”

will flash and the clock will be lighted.

4. If the numbers input are not within the

range of 1:00--12:59, the setting will be

invalid until valid numbers are input.

In the process of clock set-

ting, if the “Stop/Clear” button

is pressed or if there is no op-

eration within 1 minute, the

oven will go back to the for-

mer setting automatically.

If the clock need to be reset,

please repeat step 1 to step

4.4 Microwave cook

1. Press “Cook Time” once, the screen will

display “00:00”.

2. Press number keys to input the cook-

ing time; the maximum cooking time is

99 minutes and 99 seconds.

3. Press “Power Level” once, screen will

display “PL10”. The default power is

100% power. Now you can press num-

ber keys to adjust the power level.

4. Press “Start/+30 Sec” to start cooking.

Example: To cook the food with 50% mi-

crowave power for 15 minutes.

1. Press “Cook Time” once.”00:00” dis-

plays.

2. Press “1, 5, 0, 0” in order.

3. Press “Power Level” once,then press

“5” to select 50% microwave power.

4. Press “Start/+30 Sec” to start cooking.

In the process of setting, if

the “Stop/Clear” button is

pressed or if there is no op-

eration within 1 minute, the

oven will go back to the for-

mer setting automatically.

You can skip the step of “3”

and cook at 100% microwave

power.

4.5 Kitchen timer

1. Press “Kitchen Timer” once, the screen

will display 00:00 .

2. Press the number keys and enter the

timer time.(the maximum cooking

time is 99 minutes and 99 seconds)

3. Press “Start/+30 Sec” to confirm set-

ting, time counts down.

4. When the timer time arrives, the buzzer

will ring 3 times, screen display “End”.

The kitchen time is differ

from 12-hour system,Kitchen

Kitchen Timer and cooking

Example: When oven is cooking with 50%

microwave power for 15 minutes, screen

display countdown cooking time, you

want to set timer 10 minutes.

1. Press “Kitchen Timer” once, the screen

will display 00:00 .

2. Press the number keys and enter the

timer time. If no entering timer in 10

seconds, timer set is cancled and oven

return to countdown cooking time.

3. Press “Start/+30 Sec”, timer is operat-

ed. Timer counts down in screen. If no

press “Start/+30 Sec” in 10 seconds ,

timer set is canceled and oven return

to countdown cooking time.

4. If timer countdown time earlier than

the end of cooking process, buzzer

sound 3 times, after the buzzer, screen

display the remaining cooking time.

If the cooking process earlier than the

end of the program Timer timer, buzzer

sound 5 times, screen display count-

down timer. When the timer time arrives,

buzzer sound 3 times, and screen dis-

play “End”.

If the cooking process and the Timer tim-

er finishe at the same time, buzzer sound

5 times and screen display “End” .

4.6 Speedy cooking

1. In waiting state, instant cooking at

100% power level with 30 seconds’

cooking time can be started by press-

ing “Start/+30 Sec”. Each press on the

same button will increase cooking time

by 30 seconds. The maximumcooking

time is 99 minutes and 99 seconds.

2. In waiting state, press number keys

1~6 to start cooking for 100% power

level with the corresponding cooking

time 1~6 minutes directly.

and time defrost , time can be

added by pressing “Start/+30

4.7 Weight defrost function

1. Press “Weight Defrost“ once, screen

will display “0.0 lb”

2. Press number keys to input the weight

to be defrosted. If the weight input is

not within 0.3~6.3(lb), the input will be

invalid.

3. Press “Start/+30 Sec” to start defrost-

ing and the cooking time remained will

be displayed.

4.8 Time defrost function

1. Press “Time Defrost“ once, screen will

display “00:00”.

2. Press number keys to input defrosting

time. The maximum value is 99:99.

3. Press “Start/+30 Sec” to start defrost-

ing. The remained cooking time will be-

displayed.

4.9 Auto menu

1. In waiting state, press “Popcorn, Potato,

Pizza Reheat, Frozen Entree, Beverage

or Soup” to choose the desired menu.

2. Press the chosen menu key repeatedly

to choose the weight of the food.

3. Press “Start/+30 Sec” to start cooking.

4.10 Sensor cook

1. In waiting state, press “Dinner Plate,

Fresh Vegetable or Frozen Vegetable”,

the screen will display “SC”.

2. Press “Start/+30 Sec” to start sensor

cooking. “SC” will flash in the display.

3. The buzzer will sound once when the

sensor has finished, the surplus cook-

ing time will count down.

4.11 Memory function

1. Press “Memory” to choose memory

1-3 procedure. The screen will display

1,2,3.

2. If the procedure has been set, press

“Start/+30 Sec” to use it. If not, con-

tinue to set the procedure. Only one or

two stages can be set.

3. If the procedure has not been set, after

finishing the setting, press “Memory”

once to save the procedure and turn

back to the waiting states. If press

“Start/+30 Sec” it will save the proce-

dure then start cooking at once.

Example: To set the following procedure

as the second memory, that is memory

2. to cook the food with 80% microwave

power for 3minutes and 20 seconds.

The steps are as follow:

1. In waiting states, press “Memory”

twice, stop pressing until the screen

displays “2”.

2. Press “Cook Time” once,then press “3,

2, 0” in order.

3. Press “Power Level” once, ”PL10” dis-

play, then press “8” and “PL8” displays.

4. Press “Memory” to save the setting.

Buzzer sounds once then turn back to

waiting states. If you press “Start/+30

Sec” again, the procedure will be saved

as the memory 2 and operated.

Defrosting and Auto menu

can not be set in memory

function.

The procedure will still be

saved if the electricity is cut

off.

4.12 Multi-stage cooking

At most 2 stages can be set for cook-

ing. In multi-stage cooking, if one stage

is defrosting, then defrosting shall be

placed at the first stage automatically.

Note: Auto menu cannot work in the mul-

ti-stage cooking.

Example: If you want to cook with 80%

microwave power for 5 minutes + 60%

microwave power for 10 minutes. The

cooking steps are as following:

1. Press “Cook Time” once,then press “5,

0, 0” to set the cooking time;

2. Press “Power Level” once,then press

“8” to select 80% microwave power.

3. Press “Cook Time” once,then press “1,

0 , 0 , 0” to set the cooking time;

4. Press “Power Level” once,then press

“6” to select 60% microwave power.

5. Press “Start/+30 Sec” to start cooking.

4.13 Inquiring function

In cooking state, press “Clock”, the oven

will display clock for three seconds.

4.14 Mute mode

The default mode is OFF Mode. In wait-

ing state, open the door and then press

“7” for 3 seconds to enter to mute mode.

mute icon will display, you can operate

the oven without sound. Press “7” for 3

seconds again to cancel it.

4.15 Lock function for children

You can use this function to prevent chil-

dren from accidentally turning the oven on.

Lock: In waiting state, press “Stop/

Clear” for 3 seconds, there will be a long

“beep” denoting the entering into the chil-

dren-lock state, and the lock indicator will

light. The screen will display the current

time(if the clock is set) or “0:00” .

Unlock: In locked state, press “Stop/

Clear” for 3 seconds, there will be a long

“beep” denoting that lock is released.

4.16 Door lock function

When there is not any operation more

than 5 minutes, if you set a cooking func-

tion, “door” will display when you press

“Start/+30sec”, denoting that it can’t

work as usually (clock and kitchen timer

can be set), you can open then close the

door and press “Start/+30sec” again to

restore these cooking functions.

4.17 Cooking end reminding function

At the end of cooking or kitchen timer, the buzzer will sound 5 “beeps” to alert user

the operation is finished. If you want to cancel the buzzer remind at the end of cook-

ing or kitchen timer, in standby mode, open the door then press “8” for 3 seconds,

“Good” will display.

5 Cleaning and maintenance

5.1 Cleaning

AWARNING: Never use gasoline, solvent, abrasive

cleaning agents, metal objects or hard brushes

to clean the appliance.

BWARNING: Never immerse the appliance or its po-

wer cable in water or in any other liquid.

1. Turn off the oven and remove the power plug from the wall socket before cleaning.

2. Wait for the appliance to completely cool down.

3. Keep the inside of the oven clean. When food splatters or spilled liquids adhere to

oven walls, wipe with a damp cloth. Mild detergent may be used if the oven gets

very dirty. Avoid the use of spray and other harsh cleaners as they may stain, streak

or dull the door surface.

4. The outside surfaces should be cleaned with a damp cloth. To prevent damage to

the operating parts inside the oven, water should not be allowed to seep into the

ventilation openings.

5. Wipe the both sides of the door and window, the door seals and adjacent parts

frequently with a damp cloth to remove any spills or spatters. Do not use abrasive

cleaner.

6. A steam cleaner is not be used.

7. Do not allow the control panel to become wet. Clean with a soft, damp cloth. When

cleaning the control panel, leave oven door open to prevent oven from accidentally

turning on.

8. If steam accumulates inside or around the outside of the oven door, wipe with a

soft cloth. This may occur when the microwave oven is operated under high hu-

midity condition. And it is normal.

9. It is occasionally necessary to remove the glass tray for cleaning. Wash the tray in

warm sudsy water or in a dishwasher.

5 Cleaning and maintenance

10. The roller ring and oven floor should be cleaned regularly to avoid excessive

noise. Simply wipe the bottom surface of the oven with mild detergent. The roller

ring may be washed in mild sudsy water or dishwasher. When removing the roller

ring from cavity floor for cleaning, be sure to replace in the proper position.

11. Remove odors from your oven by combining a cup of water with the juice and

skin of one lemon in a deep microwaveable bowl, microwave for 5 minutes. Wipe

15. When the microwave oven with grill function is first used, it may produce slight

smoke and smell. This is a normal phenomenon because the oven is made of a

steel plate coated with lubricating oil, and the new oven will produce fumes and

odor generated by burning the lubricating oil. This phenomenon will disappear

after a period of using.
