This new portable DVD player is designed
for enjoyment of all forms of disc media. Its
slim shape allows it to be easily carried.
This player incorporates the latest digital
audio/video (AV) technologies to give you
the ultimate in listening and viewing
pleasure.
Your new player also supports MPEG4,
CD
and JPEG. This player also has
several unique features, large LCD screen,
multi-angle and multi-language, Parental
Control (to prevent children from viewing
inappropriate content), and Kodak Picture
CD compatibility.

First check the contents of your Portable DVD player
package:

1. Connecting to a Power Source
Connect the in-car cigar lighter
adapter to the socket (DC IN 9-
12V) and to the cigar lighter socket.
Note:
The DC OUT 9-12V socket on
the main screen is used to
power the second screen.
2. Slide left the OPEN/PUSH
latch on the front side and
whilst lifting open the disc
cover.
3. Inserting a DVD disc.
Align the center of the DVD disc
with the center of the disc
guide. Press gently down on the
DVD to secure the disc into
place, then close the disc cover.
4. Press the power button
on the left of the panel
to turn on the player.

5. Press the PLAY/PAUSE button to start
playback.
In most cases, playback will
commence either when a
DVD is inserted and the
cover closed or when the
power is turned on.
When you want to stop, press the ST OP button, it
will return to the power-on
logo.
To power off the unit, press

Connecting the headphones
CONNECTING HEADPHONES
Avoid listening to sound at levels which may be harmful to
your ears.
1. Connect the headphones.
Headphones with a 3.5 mm stereo plug can be
connected. There are two headphone sockets available
on the main screen and another one on the second
screen (when connected).
2. Adjust the volume by turning the volume control on
the side of the screen.
Using Second screen
1. Power the second screen from the main unit.
Connect the supplied power cable between the DC OUT
9-12V socket on the main screen and the DC IN 9-12V
on the second screen (see below).
2. Slide the power switch to on to turn on the
second screen Connect the AV cables as described
below.
Connect the black end of the audio cable to AUDIO
OUT socket of the main screen.Connect the red end of
the cable to AUDIO IN (R) socket of the second
screen,and the white end to AUDIO IN (L) socket.
Connect the yellow 3.5 mm plug between the video out
(yellow) socket on the main screen and the yellow
VIDEO IN socket on the second screen.
3.You can slide the aspect ratio switch to change the
LCD mode between 16:9 and 4:3.

You can playback a disc at 2x, 4x, 8x,
or 16x the normal speed for fast
forward or rewind.
Press the REV or FWD button during playback.
The playback speed changes, each time you press the
REV or FWD button(as shown above).

This function is not possible on some DVD discs or

Playing Back a KODAK Picture CD/JPEG/SONG
1. Load your KODAK Picture CD or
JPEG disc.
When a KODAK Picture CD is loaded,
playback will start automatically.
2. Select a folder or a picture/track
contained on the JPEG, a menu
will appear on the screen.
Press UP or DOWN to select a folder,
and press ENTER/ to view folder
contents.
3. Select playback mode.
You can use the button REPEAT to
select one playback mode, repeat one
(continually repeat the current picture/track) or all
(repeat all pictures).
Press UP or DOWN to choose the picture or song you
want to enjoy.
4. Start playback
Press ENTER/ to playback the pictures or songs.
5. Use the STOP or MENU button to view the
contents
When JPEG CD is played, the ST OP or MENU is used
to display JPEG folders and the corresponding files.
6. Zoom the current picture
Press ZOOM to zoom the current picture, and use FWD
and REV to control the amount of zoom in and out.
Press the direction keys to shift the zoom point.
7. Image rotation
During the slide show, you can use arrow keys to rotate
an image. Note: The function is invalid in ZOOM mode.

A disc can also be played back in slow-
motion.

LOCATING A TITLE USING THE TITLE MENU
You can locate a specific title using the title
menu function, if a DVD video disc contains a
title menu.
1. Press the TITLE button
The title menu will be shown
2. Press the (cursor keys)
to select the title you want.
You can also directly locate a specific title by
pressing its assigned number with the
numerical keys (this may only function on
certain discs)
3. Press the ENTER/ button
This will cause the DVD video player to start
playback from chapter 1 of the title selected.
You also can use skip buttons to select a chapter or track
desired:
Press or button repeatedly till the required

REPEAT A SPECIFIC SEGMENT
1. Press the A-B button at the beginning of the
segment in which you want to repeat playback
(point A).
2. Press the A-B button again at the end of the
segment (point B)
The DVD video player will automatically return to point A
and start to repeat playback of the selected segment (A-
B).
3. Press the A-B button again to cancel the A-B
repeat function

Zooming a Picture
This DVD video player allows you to
zoom into a picture as well as the zoom
point.
Press ZOOM during normal playback
or slow - motion.
The player magnifies in the center of the
picture.

zoom mode to pan around the screen.

If the DVD video disc was recorded with multiple angles,
you have the option to change the camera angle for the
scene you are watching.
Press the ANGLE button repeatedly during playback
of a scene recorded with multiple angles (when
available).
• You may only press the ANGLE button when the angle
icon is flashing on the DVD display .
Each time you press the ANGLE button, the angle will
change.

• The angle function will not work on DVD video discs that

Some DVDs are encoded with a rating level. The
Portable DVD Player does not play a disc with a rating
level that is higher than the player's preset rating level.
The rating levels are as follows:
1. Kid Safe Suitable for all ages.
2. G Suitable for general audiences.
3. PG Parental guidance recommended.
4. PG-13 Parental guidance recommended.
Unsuitable for children under 13.
5. PG-R Restricted. Unsuitable for young viewers.
Parental guidance recommended.
6. R Restricted. Unsuitable for young viewers.
7. NC-17 Adult theme or content. Unsuitable for
children under 17.
8. Adult Adult content.
• To set the level, select Parental Control and press the
ENTER/ button.A rating list appears so that
you can enter the rating level required.Use the
cursor keys to select the rating required and
press the ENTER/ button.
A new screen appears so that you can enter the
password.
Use the numerical keys on the remote to enter the
password(factory default 3308)and then press the
ENTER/ button.Press the ENTER/
button to confirm your selection.When you exit the
DVD Setup Menu,the rating is saved.

The player does
not start playback
Correction
• Check if the cigar lighter adapter is
connected securely.
• Make sure the connection is in good
condition; volume is not too low;
• The DVD+-RW you played should be
finalized, and not be an empty disc.
• Place the disc with the graphics side up
and make sure it is placed on the chuck
correctly
Make sure the disc is free from
scratches & fingerprints.
Insert a playable disc. (Check the disc
type and colour system).
Do not playback a disc which region
code is different from that of your player
(this unit is set to region 2).
Clean the disc.
Cancel the parental lock function or
change the parental lock level. (The Pre-
set password is 3308.)
Reset the player(Power off the unit
then power on again).

This option enables you to change the four digit
password that is used to set the parental control.Use the
ARROW button to select PASSWORD and press the
ENTER/ button to select CHANGE.A new
screen appears so that you can enter a new password.
Enter the old password (factory default 3308)

Re-enter to confirm the new password
Press the ENTER/ button.
Default
Select this option to reset all the preferences(except
PASSWORD)to their original factory default settings.
Do not forget your new password. The parental control
rating and the password are not change when you reset
to the default settings and cannot be reset.

its life, contact your local council regarding available
recycling or disposal options. Do not dispose of electrical

1.Unfasten all velcro straps of the harness
4.Wrap the strap around the head rest and secure into
position using the velcro straps
3.Ensure the front horizontal strap is in the correct position so
that it does not cover the screen
2.Wrap the strap around the second screen and fasten the
two velcros at back to tighten the unit securely
