1.1 System Description
1.1.1 Frequencies

1.1.2 Functional description
Wireless Seat Belt Reminder is a system which allows in vehicle wireless data collection of car seats
with respect to seat occupation and seat belt buckle state. The system is able to collect data from a
position up to 6 seats, with a possible future extension to a higher number of seats is possible.
Wireless data transmission is performed with low energy Bluetooth.

The device connected to the vehicle F-SG 2K7959760 is firmly connected to the power supply
terminal 30. The data on the vehicle are transmitted via LIN communication. If the LIN
communication is enabled, the current status of the S-SG in the seats are sent to the vehicle. F-SG
works in a continuous scan mode and receiving dates. The dates are received only from registered S-
SG in the car seats. Registration is done via the LIN diagnostic protocol. If the LIN communication is
inactive, the vehicle is in the idle state, the processor is in the sleep mode, the receiver is in a
continuous scan mode and receiving dates.
