This product is not waterproof. Do not expose it to rain or moisture.
This product is intended for use in a motor vehicle. Don’t install the device
where it will block the driver’s view of the road or side mirrors. Do not install it
where it will interfere with airbag deployment
Pay attention to the road! Don’t operate or focus on any device while driving.
Be sure the camera lens is kept clean and there is nothing blocking it.
Don’t leave the device in direct sunlight or where temperatures could go
above 140° F (60° C) for a long period of time

INSTALLING THE CAM625
Installation Safety Warnings
WARNING! Failure to comply with the following warnings could result in an
accident or collision, resulting in death or serious injury.
Do not obstruct the driver’s view or the operation of the vehicle itself.
Do not place it unsecured on the dashboard or in front/above an airbag.
Do not mount the camera where it will become a distraction if it becomes loose.
Do not attempt to operate the camera while driving. If you need to access the
CAM625 to change settings, etc., pull off the road in a safe manner to do so.
Some state laws prohibit drivers from mounting anything on the windshield,
or restrict mounting to specic areas of the windshield. It is the owners
responsibility to mount the CAM625 in compliance with local laws.
1. Slide the CAM625 onto the bracket hook on the top of the windshield mount until
it locks into position.
2. Be sure the locking ring is set to UNLOCK. Press the suction cup base to the
windshield.
3. Turn the locking ring to LOCK. Make sure the stand is locked to the windshield.
4. Connect the car adapter to the unit and to the cigarette lighter power jack.
5. Press POWER to turn the unit on and check the view. Adjust the angle if
needed.
6. To unmount the stand, turn the locking ring to the UNLOCK position then lift the
plasticaponthebasetoreleaseitfromthewindshield.
OPERATION
SET UP THE CAM625
If you are recording (red dot on the screen is ashing), press OK to stop
recording. You cannot enter the menus if CAM625 is recording.
Press MODE then M to set up your camera. Select a mode [Video, Still (photo), or
Playback] and then press M to display the settings for that mode. The menus for
Video and Still have 2 options – that mode plus Setting. Playback lets you delete and
protectlesonthemicroSDcard.

Press MODE until displays in the upper left corner of the screen. Press M once to
display the Video menu options and twice to display the Setting menu options.

As long as unlocked les that can be overwritten are on the microSD card,
locked les will not be overwritten. However, if the microSD card lls with
locked les (no unlocked les), the oldest locked le will be overwritten.
Transfer important les to your PC.
OPERATION
HOW DO I . . . ? DO THIS...
Set the date and
time?
Select Still mode. Press M twice to access Setup
options. Use the UP and DOWN arrows to scroll to
Date/Time.
Start recording? Recording begins automatically when the unit is
turned on. If you need to restart recording, select Video
mode and press OK. Recording begins.
Stop recording? Press OK. Recording stops.
Take snapshots? Select Still mode and press OK.
Adjust photo
quality?
Select Still mode. Press M once to access Still
options. You can adjust the quality, sharpness, white
balance, ISO and exposure.
Deletelesfromthe
microSD card?
Select PLAYBACK mode. Press menu to access the
Delete menu.
Review video on
the camera?
Select Playback mode. Video operation buttons
display on the bottom of the screen. Press OK to
begin video. Use the operation buttons to fast forward
and reverse.
Savelesfromthe
microSD card to the
PC.
1. Remove microSD card from camera and insert into
the adapter.
2. Insert the adapter with the microSD card into
computer.Findthelesandcopythelesyouwant
onto your PC.
MAINTENANCE
Use common sense when caring for your CAM625. Be sure the lens remains clean
and free of debris.
Do not leave the camera exposed to high temperatures or locations. Remove it and
store out of the heat.
Do not operate the device outside the following temperature range: 14° F ~ 140° F.
Contact your local waste disposal department to dispose of the camera
according to local laws and regulations.
TROUBLESHOOTING
IF... TRY THIS...
You cannot record video or take
photos.
• Check the microSD card; it might be out
ofspace.Eitherdeletelesfromthat
microSD card or use a new microSD
card.
• Check if the microSD card is locked.
Unlock it if so.
“File Error” appears when photos
or video are replayed.
Reformat your microSD card.
Video is unclear. Clean the lens.
You cannot access menus. Press OK to stop recording.

Uniden Product to be free from defects in materials & craftsmanship with only
the limitations or exclusions set out below.
WARRANTY DURATION: This warranty to the original user shall terminate
& be of no further effect 12 months after the date of original retail sale.
The warranty is invalid if the Product is (A) damaged or not maintained
asreasonableornecessary,(B)modied,altered,orusedaspartofany
conversionkits,subassemblies,oranycongurationsnotsoldbyUniden,
(C) improperly installed, (D) serviced or repaired by someone other than an
authorized Uniden service center for a defect or malfunction covered by this
warranty, (E) used in any conjunction with equipment or parts or as part of
any system not manufactured by Uniden, or (F) installed or programmed by
anyone other than as detailed by the owner’s manual for this product.
STATEMENT OF REMEDY: In the event that the product does not conform
to this warranty at any time while this warranty is in effect, warrantor will
either, at its option, repair or replace the defective unit & return it to you
without charge for parts, service, or any other cost (except shipping &
handling) incurred by warrantor or its representatives in connection with the
performance of this warranty. Warrantor, at its option, may replace the unit
