socket, we recommend the users to manually power off the camera.
Loop Recording
Default: 1 Minute
The loop recording function allows the camera to continuously record video
footage on your memory card. When there is insufcient space on the memory
card, loop recording will automatically overwrite the oldest non-protected le on
the memory card, and replace with a new recording.
The available settings of 1/3/5 minutes allows you to choose how long to record
for each video le.
Emergency le protection
Default: Low
When the G-sensor is activated due to a collision, the footage currently recorded
will be automatically locked to avoid being overwritten by loop recording. Adjust
the G-sensor level of the camera to the appropriate setting based on your
driving area.
Parking Surveillance Mode
Default: Off
When Parking Mode has been turned on, the Dash Cam enters standby mode
when the vehicle has been turned OFF (typically removing your ignition key).

Activating ADAS
The tonto offers additional drivers safety with Front Collision Warning (FCW)
and Lane Departure Warning System (LDWS), part of Advanced driver-
assistance systems. These functions provides a reminder to the driver when the
camera detects a possible front collision, or when it detects the vehicle swaying
out of lane. To activate these functions, press the Setup button, and navigate
through the menu options until the option ADAS” is highlighted.
After selecting the ADAS settings, two options will appear; FCW and LDWS.
Select the desired option to activate or deactivate by pressing the “OK” button.
Adjusting camera for ADAS
To increase the accuracy of the ADAS functions, the camera must be aligned
properly in order for the system to recognize various objects on the road. Shown
below is the recommended positioning of your camera.
Align to center of the
vehicle’s front hood.
Align front edge of
the hood below the
blue line (20% max
from bottom)
ADAS will only activate when the recording resolution is at 1080P
30FPS (1920 x 1080 30P). ADAS will not activate if the any other
recording resolution has been selected.

ADAS Usage & Calibration Status
FCW is calibrated. When calibrated, the approximate
distance between the camera and the object in front is
shown on the left side of the screen.
FCW is not calibrated or unable to read the object in front of
the camera. FCW will not warn the user when approaching
the object in front. FCW Distance will not be shown.
LDWS is calibrated for the specic side of the lane based
on markings on the ground. A warning tone will be played
when camera detects the vehicle crossing the line.
LDWS is not calibrated or unable to read markings on the
ground.
ADAS detection and accuracy may be affected due to the weather
condition, lighting condition of the road, clarity of the road markers,
and other external factors. ADAS alerts are for reference only.
DO NOT solely depend on the system.
FAQ
16
What happens when my memory card is full?
The RSC tonto allows its user to congure the length of each video segment
(Available intervals are at 1, 3, and 5 minutes) When the memory card is full, the
earlier recorded videos will be overwritten, except for those which are protected
by a manual le lock or G-Sensor Emergency lock.
What kind of memory card can I use with the dash cam?
The dashcam requires a microSDHC/microSDXC memory card with a minimum
rated speed of Class 10 / UHS-I or above. The following SD card brands have
been tested and are compatible with our cameras: ADATA, Kingston, Patriot, and
Transcend (8GB-128GB max and must be rated class 10 or higher). Other brands
and models may work, however these are the brands we have tested extensively
in-house for compatibility.
Incompatible Cards
We are unable to recommend SanDisk or Samsung branded memory cards
at this time, as our test results has shown the memory cards may become
incompatible and cause disruption in the operation of the dashcam.
The suction cup mount will not stay on my windshield.
Ensure that the protective cover (plastic lm) has been removed from the
suction pad. Ensure that the locking lever is fully open when the mount is
pushed on to the windshield and then close the lever. Make sure that the glass
is smooth and clean. Do not mount to a surface that has any non-smooth effect
or paint.
I cannot insert the MicroSD card.
MicroSD card are very small and require delicate use. Align the card with the
diagram shown on the dash camera and insert the card until you feel a slight
spring resistance. You then need to push the card using your nger nail until
you hear a click sound and feel a small latch. Release pressure and the card
will stay retained within the device. Use the edge of a small coin if you have
difculty.
I cannot remove the MicroSD card.
With the card previously installed, you would need to push the card further
inwards slightly using a nger or any thin blunt object, until you hear and feel a
small latch unlocked. Use the edge of a small coin if you have difculty. Release
pressure and the memory card will spring out for removal.
