SPÄTEREN GEBRAUCH AUFBEWAHREN.

Lesen Sie diese Bedienungsanleitung vor dem ersten Gebrauch des Gerätes

aufmerksam durch. Machen Sie sich mit der Nutzung, den Einstellmöglichkeiten

und den Funktionen der Schalter vertraut. Verinnerlichen Sie Sicherheitshinweise

und Anweisungen und befolgen Sie diese, um mögliche Risiken und Gefahren zu

vermeiden.

1. VORSICHT! HEISSE OBERFLÄCHE!

2. Dieses Gerät kann von Kindern ab 8Jahren und

darüber und von Personen mit reduzierten physischen,

sensorischen oder mentalen Fähigkeiten oder Mangel an

Erfahrung und/oder Wissen benutzt werden, wenn sie

überwacht werden oder unterwiesen wurden, bezüglich

des sicheren Gebrauchs des Gerätes und die daraus

resultierenden Gefahren verstanden haben. Kinder dürfen

nicht mit dem Gerät spielen. Reinigung und Benutzerwartung

dürfen nicht von Kindern durchgeführt werden, soweit diese

nicht älter als 8 Jahre sind und dabei beaufsichtigt werden.

3. Halten Sie das Gerät und das Netzkabel außer Reichweite von

Kindern, die jünger als 8 Jahre sind.

4. Stromschlaggefahr! Versuchen Sie nie, das Gerät selbst zu

reparieren. Lassen Sie das Gerät im Falle von Störungen nur

von qualizierten Fachleuten reparieren.

5. Überprüfen Sie regelmäßig den Netzstecker und das

Netzkabel auf Beschädigungen. Ist die Anschlussleitung

dieses Gerätes beschädigt, muss sie durch den Hersteller oder

seinen Kundendienst oder eine ähnlich qualizierte Person

ersetzt werden, um Gefährdungen zu vermeiden.

6. Warnung! Tauchen Sie elektrische Teile des Geräts während

des Reinigens oder des Betriebs nie in Wasser oder andere

Flüssigkeiten. Halten Sie das Gerät nie unter ießendes

Wasser.

7. Brandgefahr! Brot kann brennen! Das Gerät daher nie

unbeaufsichtigt lassen. Das Gerät darf nicht mit leicht

entzündlichem Material, z.B. Vorhängen, Textilien, Wänden

u.ä., in Berührung kommen oder damit zugedeckt werden.

Achten Sie bitte darauf, dass immer ein ausreichender

Sicherheitsabstand zu entzündlichen Materialien eingehalten

wird.

8. Verbrennungsgefahr! Teile des Geräts werden während des

Betriebs sehr heiß. Fassen Sie das Gerät nur am Handgri an.

9. Das Gerät ist nicht zum Betrieb mit einem externen Timer

oder einer separaten Fernbedienung geeignet.

10. Vorsicht – Verbrennungsgefahr, wenn andere als zum

Toasten übliche Brote verwendet werden. Aufgrund

kleinerer Brotgröße oder anderer Form besteht das Risiko,

beim Entnehmen des getoasteten Brotes heiße Geräteteile

zu berühren.

11. Beachten Sie alle Sicherheitshinweise, um Schäden durch nicht sachgemäßen Gebrauch zu

vermeiden! Beachten Sie alle Warnhinweise auf dem Gerät sowie in dieser Gebrauchsanweisung.

12. Bewahren Sie die Gebrauchsanweisung für den weiteren Gebrauch auf. Sollte dieses Gerät an

Dritte weitergegeben werden, muss diese Gebrauchsanweisung mit ausgehändigt werden.

13. Im Falle von unsachgemäßem Gebrauch oder falscher Handhabung kann keine Haftung für

eventuell auftretende Schäden übernommen werden.

14. Verwenden Sie das Gerät nur für den vorgesehenen Zweck. Das Gerät ist nicht für den

kommerziellen Gebrauch geeignet. Dieses Gerät ist für den Innengebrauch und ausschließlich für

den Gebrauch im Haushalt konzipiert.

15. Prüfen Sie vor dem Anschluss an die Netzversorgung, ob Stromart und Netzspannung mit den

Angaben auf dem Typenschild übereinstimmen.

16. Benutzen Sie nie ein beschädigtes Gerät! Trennen Sie das Gerät vom Netz und benachrichtigen

Sie Ihren Kundendienst, wenn das Gerät beschädigt ist.

17. Verhindern Sie eine Beschädigung des Kabels durch Quetschen, Knicken oder Scheuern an

scharfen Kanten. Halten Sie es von heißen Oberächen und oenen Flammen fern.

18. Verlegen Sie das Kabel so, dass ein unbeabsichtigtes Ziehen bzw. ein Stolpern über das Kabel nicht

möglich ist.

19. Bei Benutzung eines Verlängerungskabels muss dieses für die entsprechende Leistung geeignet

sein.

20. Nehmen Sie das Gerät nicht mit feuchten Händen oder auf nassem Boden stehend in Betrieb.

Fassen Sie den Netzstecker nie mit nassen oder feuchten Händen an.

21. Önen Sie unter keinen Umständen das Gehäuse. Führen Sie keine Gegenstände in das Innere des

Gehäuses ein.

22. Stellen Sie keine schweren Gegenstände auf das Gerät. Stellen Sie keine Gegenstände mit oenen

Flammen, wie z.B. Kerzen neben das Gerät. Stellen Sie keine mit Flüssigkeit gefüllten Gegenstände,

wie z.B. Vasen, neben das Gerät.

23. Halten Sie das Gerät von allen heißen Flächen und oenen Flammen fern. Schützen Sie das

Gerät vor extremer Hitze und Kälte, Staub, direkter Sonneneinstrahlung, Feuchtigkeit, Tropf- und

Spritzwasser.

24. Wickeln Sie das Netzkabel nicht um das Gerät.

25. Verbinden Sie den Netzstecker mit einer gut erreichbaren Steckdose, um im Notfall das Gerät

schnell von der Stromversorgung trennen zu können. Ziehen Sie den Netzstecker aus der

Steckdose, um das Gerät vollständig auszuschalten. Benutzen Sie den Netzstecker als jederzeit

zugängliche Trennvorrichtung.

26. Ziehen Sie den Netzstecker nur am Netzstecker selbst aus der Steckdose. Ziehen Sie nicht am

Netzkabel.

27. Als zusätzlicher Schutz wird die Installation einer Fehlerstrom-Schutzeinrichtung (RCD) mit

einem Bemessungsauslösestrom von nicht mehr als 30 mA im vom Gerät genutzten Stromkreis

empfohlen. Die Installation sollte von einem erfahrenen Elektriker vorgenommen werden.

28. Ziehen Sie vor jeder Reinigung, und falls das Gerät längere Zeit nicht benutzt wird, den

Netzstecker.

29. Sollte das Gerät ins Wasser fallen, ziehen Sie zuerst den Netzstecker, bevor Sie in das Wasser

greifen.

30. Gefahr eines Brandes oder eines elektrischen Schlages! Keine zu großen Speisestücke, keine

Metallfolien oder Werkzeuge in den Toaster einlegen.

31. Um Personen und Sachschäden zu vermeiden, versuchen Sie nie, Toast aus dem Gerät

herauszunehmen, wenn das Gerät noch in Betrieb ist. Der Toaster darf nicht mit anderen

Lebensmitteln außer Toastbrot bestückt werden.

32. Verwenden Sie kein Brot mit hohem Zuckergehalt oder mit Zucker bepudertes Brot. Auch kein Brot

mit Brotaufstrich.

33. Decken Sie das Gerät nicht im Betrieb oder kurz nach Gebrauch ab. Lassen Sie das Gerät

vollständig abkühlen, bevor Sie es verstauen.

34. Dieses Gerät entspricht der Schutzklasse I und muss daher an den Schutzleiter angeschlossen

werden.

35. Stellen Sie das Gerät auf eine stabile, ebene und hitzebeständige Oberäche.

BESTIMMUNGSGEMÄSSE VERWENDUNG

Dieses Gerät ist zum Toasten und zum Aufbacken von Brötchen oder Croissants geeignet. Jegliche

andere Benutzung kann zu Personen- oder Produktschäden führen.

VOR DER ERSTEN BENUTZUNG

• Reinigen Sie das Gerät ( Reinigung und Pege).

• Lassen Sie das Gerät einige Toastvorgänge ohne Brot durchlaufen, bis kein Geruch oder Rauch mehr

auftreten. Sorgen Sie dabei für eine gute Belüftung des Raums.

• Bedingt durch den Herstellungsprozess kann das Gerät einen leichten Brandgeruch abgeben, wenn es

das erste Mal eingeschaltet wird. Dies ist normal und stellt keinen Defekt oder Gefahr dar.

BETRIEB

Verbinden Sie den Netzstecker mit einer geeigneten Steckdose.

Stecken Sie Brotscheiben normaler Größe in die Brotschlitze.

Stellen Sie mit dem Bräunungsregler je nach Vorliebe den Bräunungsgrad ein; wählen Sie zwischen

Toaststufe 1 bis 6.

Drücken Sie den Einschalthebel komplett herunter, bis er einrastet. Der Toastvorgang beginnt.

5 Wenn die eingestellte Toaststufe erreicht ist, springt der Einschalthebel automatisch nach oben.

Um den Toastvorgang manuell zu beenden, drücken Sie die Taste Cancel.

Tipps

• Die Bräunungsgradstufe 1 ist eine vordenierte Einstellung, die für eine goldbraune Toastfarbe sorgt

und dabei Energie spart.

• Der ideale Bräunungsgrad hängt von der Brotsorte und der Brotdicke, sowie der Toastzeit ab.

Versuchen Sie es ein paar Mal, um Ihre bevorzugte Einstellung zu nden.

• Verwenden Sie eine niedrigere Stufe, wenn Sie nur eine Scheibe Brot toasten.

Brötchen aufwärmen

Um den Brötchenaufsatz anzuheben, schieben Sie die Brötchenaufsatzhalterung in Richtung der

Brotschlitze, bis die Halterung einrastet.

Legen Sie die Brötchen, die Sie aufwärmen möchten, auf den Brötchenaufsatz.

Wählen Sie mit dem Bräunungsregler die Toaststufe 1 bis 2.

Wiederholen Sie die Schritte

Anmerkung: Stellen Sie sicher, dass der Brötchenaufsatz komplett abgekühlt ist, bevor Sie die

Brötchenaufsatzhalterung zurück in die Ausgangsposition schieben, um den Brötchenaufsatz

einzuklappen.

Nach der Benutzung

Trennen Sie das Gerät vom Netzstrom.

Toast entfernen

Vorsicht! Brotscheiben und Teile des Geräts werden sehr heiß und bleiben für eine gewisse Zeit nach

dem Betrieb heiß. Verwenden Sie keine leitenden Werkzeuge, wie Gabeln, um Toast aus dem Gerät zu

entfernen, da dies die Heizelemente beschädigen kann.

Verwenden Sie nach dem Toasten nicht-leitende Gegenstände, wie Ofenhandschuhe, um heißen

Toast aus dem Gerät zu entnehmen. Entnehmen Sie den Toast, nachdem er ein wenig abgekühlt ist.

Verwenden Sie keine Gabeln oder andere metallische Werkzeuge, um Toast zu entnehmen, da dies zu

einem elektrischen Schlag oder Feuer führen kann.

Eingeklemmten Toast entfernen

• Falls Toastbrot im Inneren des Geräts eingeklemmt ist, drücken Sie die Taste Cancel und trennen Sie

den Netzstecker vom Netz.

• Warten Sie, bis das Gerät vollständig abgekühlt ist.

• Entfernen Sie den Toast vorsichtig und achten Sie darauf, die Heizelemente nicht zu beschädigen.

REINIGUNG UND PFLEGE

Warnung! Stellen Sie vor der Reinigung sicher, dass das Gerät ausgeschaltet ist und der Netzstecker aus

der Steckdose gezogen und das Gerät vollständig abgekühlt ist.

Warnung! Tauchen Sie das Gerät niemals in Wasser oder andere Flüssigkeiten.

• Reinigen Sie das Gerät mit einem leicht angefeuchteten Tuch. Achten Sie darauf, dass während des

Reinigens keine Feuchtigkeit in das Gerät gelangt.

•

Benutzen Sie keine ätzenden Reinigungsmittel, Drahtbürsten, abreibenden Scheuermittel, metallischen

oder scharfen Gegenstände zum Reinigen des Gerätes.

• Trocknen Sie das Gerät nach dem Reinigen sorgfältig ab.

•

Bewahren Sie das Gerät an einem kühlen, trockenen Platz auf, der für Kinder und Haustiere nicht zu

erreichen ist.

Krümelfach entleeren

Platzieren Sie das Produkt auf dessen Seite auf einer achen Oberäche.

Önen Sie das Krümelfach, indem Sie dessen Abdeckung zur Seite schieben und dann

herausziehen. Reinigen Sie das Krümelfach und verschließen Sie die Abdeckung.

Lagerung

Stellen Sie vor der Lagerung immer sicher, dass das Gerät von der Steckdose getrennt wurde und

vollständig abgekühlt ist.

Wickeln Sie das Netzkabel um die Kabelaufnahme unter dem Gerät.

Lagern Sie das Gerät an einem kühlen und sauberen Ort, vorzugsweise in der Originalverpackung.

2. Αυτή η συσκευή μπορεί να χρησιμοποιηθεί από παιδιά

8 ετών και άνω και από άτομα με μειωμένες σωματικές,

αισθητηριακές ή διανοητικές ικανότητες ή έλλειψη

εμπειρίας και γνώσης, εάν επιβλέπονται ή τους έχουν δοθεί

οδηγίες σχετικά με τη χρήση της συσκευής με ασφαλή τρόπο

και έχουν κατανοήσει τους κινδύνους που εμπεριέχονται. Τα

παιδιά δεν πρέπει να παίζουν με τη συσκευή. Ο καθαρισμός

πρέπει να αντικατασταθεί από τον κατασκευαστή, τον

αντιπρόσωπο σέρβις ή παρόμοια εξειδικευμένο προσωπικό

για να αποφευχθεί κίνδυνος ή τραυματισμός.

6. Προειδοποίηση! Κατά τη διάρκεια του καθαρισμού ή

της λειτουργίας μην βυθίζετε τα ηλεκτρικά τμήματα της

7. Κίνδυνος πυρκαγιάς! Το ψωμί μπορεί να καεί! Μην αφήνετε

χρησιμοποιείτε την φρυγανιέρα κοντά σε εύφλεκτα υλικά

όπως κουρτίνες, υφάσματα, τοίχοι, κλπ. και μην σκεπάζετε την

τοστιέρα. Βεβαιωθείτε ότι υπάρχει ασφαλής απόσταση από

εύφλεκτα υλικά.

8. Κίνδυνος εγκαυμάτων! Τα τμήματα της συσκευής

ζεσταίνονται υπερβολικά κατά τη διάρκεια της χρήσης.

9. Μην λειτουργείτε τη συσκευή με εξωτερικό χρονοδιακόπτη ή

10. Προσοχή – Κίνδυνος εγκαυμάτων στην περίπτωση που

χρησιμοποιείτε ψωμί διαφορετικό από το συνηθισμένο

ψωμί για τοστ. Εάν έχει μικρότερο σχήμα ή μέγεθος υπάρχει

κίνδυνος να ακουμπήσετε τα καυτά τμήματα της τοστιέρας

όταν προσπαθήσετε να το βγάλετε από την τοστιέρα.

11. Τηρήστε όλες τις οδηγίες ασφαλείας για να αποφύγετε βλάβες που μπορεί να προκληθούν από

την ακατάλληλη χρήση! Τηρήστε όλες τις προειδοποιήσεις ασφαλείας στη συσκευή και στο παρόν

εγχειρίδιο οδηγιών.

12. Φυλάξτε αυτό το εγχειρίδιο για μελλοντική χρήση. Εάν δώσετε τη συσκευή σε τρίτο πρόσωπο,

17. Για την πρόληψη φθοράς στο καλώδιο τροφοδοσίας, μην πιέζετε, τρίβετε και μην το λυγίζετε σε

αιχμηρά σημεία. Επίσης, φυλάξτε το μακριά από καυτές επιφάνειες και ελεύθερες φλόγες.

18. Τοποθετήστε το καλώδιο έτσι, ώστε να αποκλείεται το ενδεχόμενο να το τραβήξετε κατά λάθος ή να

σκοντάψετε πάνω του. Φυλάξτε τη συσκευή και το καλώδιο μακριά από παιδιά.

19. Αν χρησιμοποιηθεί καλώδιο επέκτασης οι προδιαγραφές του πρέπει να είναι κατάλληλες για την ισχύ

που καταναλώνεται από τη συσκευή.

20. Μην λειτουργείτε τη συσκευή με βρεγμένα χέρια ή όταν στέκεστε πάνω σε υγρό πάτωμα. Μην αγγί-

ζετε το καλώδιο τροφοδοσίας με βρεγμένα χέρια.

21. Μην ανοίγετε το περίβλημα της συσκευής σε καμία περίπτωση. Μην τοποθετείτε ξένα αντικείμενα

στο εσωτερικό του περιβλήματος.

22. Μην τοποθετείτε βαριά αντικείμενα πάνω στη συσκευή. Μην τοποθετείτε αντικείμενα με γυμνή

φλόγα, π.χ. κεριά, δίπλα στη συσκευή. Μην τοποθετείτε αντικείμενα γεμάτα με νερό, π.χ. βάζα, κοντά

στην συσκευή.

23. Φυλάξτε τη συσκευή μακριά από θερμές επιφάνειες και γυμνή φλόγα. Προστατέψετε τη συσκευή

από τη ζέστη και το κρύο, τη σκόνη, το άμεσο ηλιακό φως, την υγρασία, σταγόνες και το πιτσίλισμα

νερού.

24. Μην τυλίγετε το καλώδιο τροφοδοσίας γύρω από τη συσκευή.

25. Συνδέστε το φις σε μια εύκολα προσβάσιμη πρίζα, έτσι ώστε σε περίπτωση έκτακτης ανάγκης

να είναι δυνατή η άμεση αποσύνδεση της συσκευής. Αποσυνδέστε το φις από την πρίζα για να

απενεργοποιήσετε τελείως τη συσκευή. Χρησιμοποιήστε το φις ως συσκευή αποσύνδεσης.

26. Βγάζετε το βύσμα από την πρίζα μόνο από αυτό καθαυτό το βύσμα. Μην τραβάτε το καλώδιο.

27. Για επιπλέον προστασία, σας συνιστούμε τη χρήση διάταξης παραμένοντος ρεύματος (RCD) με

ένταση διέγερσης που δεν υπερβαίνει τα 30mA στο ηλεκτρικό κύκλωμα που τροφοδοτεί με ρεύμα

28. Αποσυνδέστε το καλώδιο τροφοδοσίας από την πρίζα όταν δεν χρησιμοποιείτε τη συσκευή και πριν

I. Υποδοχές ψωμιού

ΠΡΙΝ ΤΗΝ ΠΡΩΤΗ ΧΡΗΣΗ

• Καθαρίστε τη συσκευή ( Καθαρισμός και φροντίδα).

• Χρησιμοποιήστε τη φρυγανιέρα για να ψήσετε αρκετές φορές χωρίς ψωμί, για να εξαλειφτούν τελείως

οι οσμές ή ο καπνός που συνοδεύουν τις καινούργιες συσκευές. Κατά τη διάρκεια του ψησίματος,

βεβαιωθείτε ότι υπάρχει επαρκής εξαερισμός.

• Εξαιτίας της διαδικασία που ακολουθείται στην κατασκευή, η συσκευή μπορεί να αναδύει μια ελαφρά

οσμή καψίματος όταν μπει σε λειτουργία πρώτη φορά. Αυτό το σύμπτωμα είναι φυσιολογικό και δεν

αποτελεί ένδειξη ελαττώματος ή κινδύνου.

ΛΈΙΤΟΥΡΓΙΑ

Συνδέστε το φις σε κατάλληλη πρίζα.

Τοποθετήστε φέτες ψωμί κανονικού μεγέθους στις υποδοχές του ψωμιού.

Επιλέξτε το επίπεδο ψησίματος με το διακόπτη ροδίσματος. Επιλέξτε μεταξύ επιπέδου 1 ως 6

ανάλογα με την προτίμησή σας.

Πιέστε το μοχλό της φρυγανιέρας προς τα κάτω μέχρι να ασφαλίσει στη θέση του. Ξεκινάει το

ψήσιμο.

Όταν ολοκληρωθεί το ψήσιμο, ο μοχλός θα τιναχτεί προς τα πάνω αυτόματα.

Για να σταματήσετε το ψήσιμο χειροκίνητα, πατήστε το κουμπί Cancel.

Συμβουλές

• Με γνώμονα την εξοικονόμηση ενέργειας, η προεπιλεγμένη τιμή ροδοκοκκινίσματος για το ψήσιμο

είναι το επίπεδο 1 (χρυσοκάστανο χρώμα ).

• Το ιδανικό επίπεδο ψησίματος εξαρτάται από τον τύπο ψωμιού, το πάχος της φέτας και το χρόνο

ψησίματος. Κάντε δοκιμές μέχρι να βρείτε το επίπεδο ψησίματος που επιθυμείτε.

• Χρησιμοποιήστε χαμηλότερο επίπεδο ψησίματος όταν ψήνετε μία μόνο φέτα ψωμί.

Ζεσταίνοντας ψωμάκια

Για να ανυψώσετε τη σχάρα θέρμανσης, σύρετε τη λαβή της σχάρας θέρμανσης προς την

κατεύθυνση των σχισμών του ψωμιού μέχρι να κουμπώσει στη θέση της.

Τοποθετήστε τις φέτες ψωμιού στη σχάρα θέρμανσης.

Χρησιμοποιήστε το κουμπί ροδίσματος για να επιλέξετε επίπεδο ψησίματος από 1 έως 2.

Επαναλάβετε τα βήματα

Σημείωση: Σιγουρευτείτε ότι η σχάρα θέρμανσης έχει κρυώσει τελείως, πριν σύρετε τη λαβή της προς τα

Αφαίρεση του ψωμιού

Προσοχή! Οι φέτες ψωμιού και τμήματα της συσκευής ζεσταίνονται υπερβολικά και παραμείνουν

καυτά για κάποιο χρονικό διάστημα μετά τη λειτουργία της συσκευής. Μην χρησιμοποιείτε αγώγιμα

εργαλεία, όπως πιρούνι, για να αφαιρέσετε τη φρυγανιά από τη συσκευή, επειδή μπορεί να καταστρέψει

τα θερμαντικά στοιχεία.

Μετά το ψήσιμο χρησιμοποιήστε -μη-αγώγιμα αντικείμενα, π.χ. γάντια, για να αφαιρέσετε το ζεστό τοστ

από τη συσκευή, ή περιμένετε λίγο μέχρι να κρυώσει και αφαιρέστε το. Μην χρησιμοποιείτε πιρούνι ή

BEFORE FIRST TIME USE

• Clean the appliance ( Cleaning and care).

• Allow the appliance to complete several toasting cycles without food, until no odour or smoke is

present. During toasting, ensure good room ventilation.

• Due to the manufacturing process, the appliance may emit a slight burning odour when switched on

for the rst time. This is normal and does not indicate any defect or hazard.

OPERATION

Connect the power plug to a suitable electrical outlet.

Insert bread slices of regular size in the bread slots.

Select the desired toast level with the browning knob. Choose among levels 1 to 6 according to

your preference.

Press the toast lever all the way down until it clicks in place. The toasting process starts.

When the set toast level is reached, the toast lever pops up automatically.

To manually terminate the toasting process, press the Cancel button.

Hints

• Browning level 1 is predened setting to toast for golden brown colour with energy saving

consideration.

• The ideal browning level depends on bread type, slice thickness and toasting time. Please try several

times to nd your favourite setting.

• Use a lower setting when toasting a single bread slice.

Warming up buns

To lift the warming rack, slide the warming rack holder towards the bread slots until it clicks in

place.

Place the buns to be reheated on the warming rack.

Use the browning knob to select the toast level 1 to 2.

Repeat steps

Note: Make sure that the warming rack cooled down completely, before you slide the warming rack

holder backwards to fold down the warming rack.

After use

Unplug the appliance.

Removing toast

Caution! Bread slices and parts of the appliance get very hot and stay hot for some time after operation.

Do not use conductive tools, such as a fork, to remove toast from the appliance as this may damage the

heating elements.

After toasting, use non-conductive items, e.g. mittens, to remove hot toast from the appliance, or wait to

remove the toast after it has cooled a bit. Do not use a fork or other metallic utensils to remove toast as

this may result in electric shock or re.

Removing lodged toast

• If toast is lodged inside the appliance, press the Cancel button and disconnect the power plug from

the electrical outlet.

• Wait until the appliance has cooled completely.

• Remove toast carefully and take care not to damage the heating elements.

CLEANING AND CARE

Warning! Before cleaning, switch o the appliance and disconnect it from the electrical outlet and let it

cool completely.

Warning! Never immerse the appliance in water or other liquids.

• Clean the appliance with a soft, slightly damp cloth. Make sure that no moisture is entering the

appliance during cleaning.

Emptying the crumb tray

Place the product on its side on a at surface.

Slide the crumb tray to the side and then open it by pulling it outwards. Clean the crumb tray and

then close it.

Storage

Before storage, always make sure the appliance has already been disconnected from the electrical

outlet and cooled completely.

Wind the power cord around the cord storage underneath the appliance.

Store the appliance in a cool and clean place, preferably in its original package.

23. Mantenga el dispositivo alejado de supercies calientes o llamas. Proteja el dispositivo del calor y

24. No enrolle el cable alrededor del dispositivo.

25. Conecte el enchufe a una toma de corriente de fácil acceso para que, en caso de emergencia, el

32. No tueste pan con contenido de azúcar ni pan que tenga azúcar rociada sobre él. No tueste pan

con algo untado en él.

33. No mueva el aparato mientras esté en uso o si sus piezas o contenido están calientes. Permita que

el producto se enfríe completamente antes de guardarlo.

ANTES DEL PRIMER USO

• Limpie el dispositivo ( Limpieza y cuidado).

• Deje que el producto complete varios ciclos de tostado sin pan, hasta que no salga olor ni humo.

Durante el proceso de tostado, asegúrese de que exista una buena ventilación en la habitación.

• Debido al proceso de fabricación, el dispositivo puede emitir un ligero olor a quemado al ser

encendido por primera vez. Esto es normal y no indica la existencia de algún defecto o peligro.

FUNCIONAMIENTO

Conecte el enchufe a una toma de corriente adecuada.

Inserte rebanadas de pan de tamaño regular en las ranuras para pan.

Usando la perilla para dorar, seleccione el nivel de tostado deseado. Escoja entre los niveles 1 a 6

según sus preferencias.

Empuje la palanca de la tostadora hasta que llegue abajo y encaje con un clic. Comenzará el

proceso de tostado.

Al alcanzar el nivel de tostado seleccionado, la palanca de la tostadora subirá automáticamente.

Para terminar el proceso manualmente, presione el botón Cancel.

Consejos

• El nivel de dorado 1 es un ajuste predenido para dorar dejando un color café dorado, pero teniendo

en cuenta consideraciones de ahorro de energía.

• El nivel de tostado ideal depende del tipo de pan, grosor de la rebanada y tiempo de tostado. Prueba

varias veces hasta encontrar el ajuste que más le guste.

• Use un ajuste inferior al tostar una sola rebanada de pan.

Cómo calentar panecillos

Para elevar la repisa para calentar, deslice el soporte hacia las aberturas donde va el pan hasta que

encaje con un clic.

Coloque sobre el estante para entibiar el pan que recalentará.

Utilizando la perilla para dorar, seleccione el nivel de tostado, entre 1 y 2.

Nota: Asegúrese de que la repisa para calentar está totalmente fría, antes de deslizar el soporte hacia

atrás para poder plegarla.

Cómo sacar las tostadas

¡Precaución! Las rebanadas de pan y piezas del producto se calientan mucho y permanecen calientes

por algún tiempo después de dejar de funcionar. No utilice herramientas conductivas, tales como

tenedores, para sacar las tostadas del producto ya que esto podría dañar a los elementos calentadores.

Cuando haya nalizado el proceso de tostado, utilice artículos no conductores, como por ejemplo un

guante de horno, para sacar las tostadas calientes del aparato, o bien espere a que se enfríen un poco

antes de sacarlas. No utilice un tenedor o cualquier otro utensilio metálico para sacar la tostada, ya que

puede producir un choque eléctrico o fuego.

Cómo sacar las tostadas atrapadas

• Si la tostada se encuentra atrapada en el producto, presione el botón Cancel y desconéctelo de la

toma de corriente.

• Espere hasta que el producto se haya enfriado por completo.

• Saque la tostada cuidadosamente y trate de no dañar los elementos calentadores.

LIMPIEZA Y CUIDADO

¡Atención! Antes de proceder a su limpieza, apague el aparato, desconéctelo de la toma de corriente y

deje que se enfríe del todo.

¡Atención! Nunca sumerja el dispositivo en agua u otros líquidos.

• Limpie el aparato con paño suave y ligeramente húmedo. Asegúrese de que no se introduce humedad

en el aparato durante su limpieza.

Nunca utilice detergentes corrosivos, cepillos de alambre, estropajos abrasivos o instrumentos de metal

y alados para limpiar su aparato.

• Seque el aparato cuidadosamente después de limpiarlo.

• Deposite el dispositivo en un lugar frío y seco, alejado de los niños y mascotas.

Cómo vaciar la bandeja para migas:

Coloque el producto de lado sobre una supercie plana.

Deslice la bandeja de las migas hacia el lado y a continuación ábrala sacándola hacia fuera. Limpie

la bandeja de las migas y luego ciérrela.

Almacenamiento

Antes de guardarlo, asegúrese siempre de que el aparato ha sido desconectado de la toma de

corriente previamente y ha dejado que se enfríe totalmente.

Enrolle el cable alrededor del espacio destinado para el mismo que se encuentra debajo del

23. Maintenez l’appareil à l’écart de toute surface chaude et amme nue. Protégez l’appareil de la chaleur

et du froid, de la poussière, des rayons du soleil, de l’humidité et de tout égouttement ou éclaboussure

d’eau.

24. N’enroulez pas le cordon d’alimentation autour de l’appareil.

25. Raccordez la che d’alimentation à une prise de courant facilement accessible an de pouvoir

débrancher l’appareil immédiatement en cas d’urgence. Débranchez la che d’alimentation de la prise

de courant pour mettre l’appareil complètement hors tension. Utilisez la che d’alimentation comme

dispositif de mise hors tension de l’appareil.

26. Pour débrancher l’appareil de la prise de courant, tirez sur la che électrique et non pas sur le cordon.

27. Pour assurer une protection supplémentaire, nous recommandons l'utilisation d'un disjoncteur

diérentiel (RCD) avec un courant de déclenchement ne dépassant pas 30mA dans le circuit électrique

qui alimente votre appareil. L'installation doit être eectuée par un électricien qualié.

28. Débranchez la che d’alimentation de la prise de courant lorsque vous n’utilisez pas l’appareil ou avant

de procéder à son nettoyage.

29. Au cas où l'appareil tomberait dans l'eau, débranchez d'abord la che d'alimentation, avant de plonger

les mains dans l'eau.

30. Danger d’incendie ou d’électrocution! N’y insérez pas des tranches de pain trop épaisses. N'insérez pas

31. Pour éviter tous risques de blessures corporelles ou d’endommage l’appareil, ne retirez pas du pain du

grille-pain tant que celui-ci est en cours d’utilisation. Insérez du pain dans le grille-pain uniquement pour

procéder au grillage.

32. Ne grillez pas du pain dont la teneur en sucre est élevée ou du pain saupoudré de sucre. Ne grillez pas du

pain tartiné.

33. Ne couvrez pas l’appareil en cours d’utilisation ou peu de temps après utilisation, lorsqu’il est encore

chaud. Laissez l’appareil refroidir complètement avant de le ranger.

34. Cet appareil est de classe de protection I et doit être relié à une mise à la terre.

35. Disposez l'appareil sur une surface nivelée, stable et résistante à la chaleur.
