READ THESE INSTRUCTIONS CAREFULLY BEFORE USING THE

APPLIANCE AND SAVE THEM FOR FUTURE REFERENCE.

SAFETY

General guidelines

• Consult the appliance's operating instructions for details on

cleaning and maintenance.

• This appliance may be used by children of at least 8 years of

age and by people with reduced physical, sensory or mental

capacities or without prior experience or knowledge, if they

are properly supervised or if they have been given instructions

on how to use the appliance safely and are aware of the risks

involved.

Children should not tamper with the device.

Cleaning and user maintenance should not be carried out by

children without supervision.

• Follow the precautions when installing the appliance as they

are set out in the appliance's instructions.

• The power socket must remain accessible or a switch must be

installed in the wiring system in accordance with the installation

rules so that the appliance can be disconnected from the power

supply network whatever the circumstances.

• If the power cable is damaged, it must be replaced by the

manufacturer, its after-sales department or similarly qualiﬁed

persons to avoid any danger.

• Please respect the maximum and minimum inlet water

pressures speciﬁed in the technical speciﬁcations of the sheet

be used during installation. Do not reuse worn connection kits.

Speciﬁc instructions

• This appliance is designed to wash a maximum mass of dry laundry

in kilograms indicated on the leaﬂet attached to the instructions.

• Children under 3 years of age should be kept away, unless they

are under continuous supervision.

• This appliance is only intended for household use.

• It is not suitable for use in similar applications such as:

- Kitchen areas reserved for staff in stores, ofﬁces and other

professional environments.

- Farms.

- Use by guests in hotels, motels and other residential environments.

- Bed-and-breakfast type environments.

- Locations intended for collective use in apartment buildings.

• If the appliance has vents or ventilation openings at its base,

these openings must not be blocked by a carpet.

Additional instructions

• The ECO 40-60 programme is suitable for washing normally

soiled cotton laundry, that is washable at 40°C or 60°C, in the

same cycle.

• It is used to assess the appliance's compliance with the European

ecodesign legislation.

• The most efﬁcient programmes in terms of energy and water

consumption are usually those that run at low temperatures for

a longer period of time.

• Loading the household washing machine to the maximum

capacity for each programme, as recommended in the appliance's

instructions, helps to save energy and water.

• Follow the recommendations regarding the recommended types

of washing powder for the different washing programmes and

temperatures speciﬁed in the appliance's instructions.

• If the powder or liquid washing product or additive (fabric softener,

etc.) appears to be too compact or too thick after prolonged

storage, break up the powder, or dilute the washing liquid with

clean water, before pouring it into the appropriate compartment of

the appliance so as not to obstruct the compartment and prevent

any overﬂow when the water is added.

• The washing powder or additive must be chosen according to

the washing temperature to guarantee optimum performance

while consuming the least energy (water and electricity).

• The noise level and residual humidity depend on the spin speed.

The higher the spin speed during the spinning phase, the louder

the noise and the lower the residual humidity level.

attached to the instructions as well as in the EPREL product

database (European Product Database for Energy Labelling) of

the European Commission available using the QR code of the

• The technical values concerning the main programmes are speciﬁed

in the instructions for using the appliance.

• The values provided in the appliance's instructions for the

programmes, other than the ECO 40-60 programme, are rough guides.

Additional instructions

• This appliance is only for washing, rinsing and/or spinning machine-

washable textiles in a domestic setting. Under no circumstances

should it be used in a professional, commercial or industrial setting.

The appliance should not be transported alone and should not be

transported on its front (door side).

WARNING : Keep the packing materials and accessories

out of the reach of children. Never let children play with

the packaging or accessories.

DANGER: Never use the appliance outdoors.

Regulatory guidelines

• Do not install the appliance on a carpet or similar ﬂoor covering.

• The appliance must not be installed behind a locking door, a

sliding door or a door with a hinge on the side opposite that of

the appliance, thus preventing the appliance from fully opening.

WARNING : Remove the transit bolts at the rear of the

appliance. These transit bolts are only needed when

transporting the appliance and must be removed before

the appliance is used for the ﬁrst time, at the risk of

causing damage that is not covered by the warranty.

WARNING : The appliance must be connected to a mains

socket with a protective earth connection. The appliance

must not be connected via an extension cable or power

strip.

WARNING : Do not bend, crush or pinch the power supply

cable and the water pipes behind the appliance. Leave

enough space behind the appliance so that it is not in

direct contact with the mains socket, the water inlet or

drain.

CAUTION: The power to the appliance must not pass

through an external switch, like a timer, or be connected

to a circuit that is regularly turned on and off by the

utility provider.

DANGER: Do not connect the appliance to the mains

with wet hands, as this could result in an electric shock.

DANGER: If the laundry has been pretreated with

cleaning products containing solvents, it may cause an

explosion in the appliance. Rinse the pretreated laundry

thoroughly with water before washing.

• Always check the labels on the clothing before adding them to

the appliance; otherwise, they may be damaged.

• Always check and remove any objects from the pockets of clothing

before adding the item to the appliance.

CAUTION: The window becomes hot when washing at

a high temperature. Do not touch it and keep children

away from the appliance.

CAUTION: Do not open the washing product dispenser

during a cycle. Risk of chemical burns from spattered

washing products.

• Any cleaning and/or in-depth maintenance work done on the

appliance must be conducted with the electrical outlet disconnected

and the water inlet valve closed.

• Do not use a steam cleaner when cleaning the appliance.

• In the event of a malfunction which cannot be resolved with the

information provided in the operating instructions for the appliance,

contact the after-sales service.

• Il ne convient pas à l’utilisation dans des applications analogues

• Le programme ECO 40-60 convient au lavage du linge de coton

normalement sale déclaré lavable à 40 °C ou 60 °C, au cours du

même cycle.

• Il est utilisé pour évaluer la conformité de l’appareil avec la

législation européenne en matière d’écoconception.

• Les programmes les plus efﬁcaces au regard de la consommation

d’énergie et d’eau sont généralement ceux qui fonctionnent à

basse température pendant une durée plus longue.

• Charger le lave-linge ménager au maximum de la capacité

mentionnée pour chaque programme dans les consignes

d’utilisation de l’appareil, contribue à économiser de l’énergie

et de l’eau.

• Il convient de suivre les recommandations quant aux types de

détergents adaptés aux différents programmes et températures

de lavage précisées dans les consignes d’utilisation de l’appareil.

• Si la lessive ou l’additif (assouplissant, ...) en poudre, ou liquide,

présente un aspect trop compressé, ou trop épais, après un

stockage de longue durée, Il est recommandé de désagréger

la poudre, ou diluer à l’eau claire la lessive, avant de la verser

dans le compartiment dédié de l’appareil aﬁn de ne pas obstruer

le compartiment et éviter un débordement lors du remplissage

d’eau.

• La lessive ou l’additif doit être choisi en fonction de la température

de lavage pour garantir des performances optimales tout en

consommant le moins d’énergie (eau et électricité).

• Le bruit et le taux d’humidité résiduelle sont inﬂuencés par

la vitesse d’essorage. Plus la vitesse d’essorage est élevée lors

de la phase d’essorage, plus le bruit est élevé et plus le taux

d’humidité résiduelle est faible.

• Ne pas installer l’appareil sur de la moquette ou un revêtement

• L’appareil ne doit pas être installé derrière une porte à

charnière du côté opposé à celle de l’appareil, empêchant ainsi

l’ouverture totale de l’appareil.

AVERTISSEMENT : Retirer (si présentes) les brides

d’immobilisation du tambour à l’arrière de l’appareil.

Ces vis de sécurité ne sont utiles que lors du transport

de l’appareil et doivent impérativement être retirées

avant la première utilisation de l’appareil sous risque

d’endommagement non couvert pas la garantie.

AVERTISSEMENT : L’appareil doit impérativement être

connecté à une prise secteur équipée d’une terre de

protection. L’appareil ne doit pas être connecté par

l’intermédiaire d’une rallonge ou d’un bloc multiprise.

MISE EN GARDE : L’appareil ne doit pas être alimenté

régulièrement mis sous tension et hors tension par le

DANGER : Ne pas connecter l’appareil au secteur avec

les mains mouillées, risque d’électrocution.

DANGER : Si le linge a été prétraité avec des produits de

nettoyage contenant des solvants, cela peut provoquer

une explosion dans l’appareil. Rincez soigneusement le

linge prétraité à l’eau avant de le laver.

• Il convient de toujours lire les étiquettes présentes sur les textiles

avant de les insérer dans l’appareil au risque de les détériorer.

• Toujours vériﬁer et retirer les éventuels objets des poches des

vêtements avant mise en place de la pièce de textile dans l’appareil.

MISE EN GARDE : Le hublot devient chaud lors d’un

lavage à haute température. Ne le touchez pas et

éloignez les enfants de l’appareil.

MISE EN GARDE : Ne pas ouvrir le bac à produits au cours

d’un cycle d’utilisation. Risque de brûlures chimiques

par projection de produits détergents.

• Toute intervention relative au nettoyage et/ou entretien approfondi

de l’appareil doit être effectuée avec la prise électrique débranchée

et le robinet d’arrivée d’eau fermé.
