Do not use without dust bag or filters in place.
Turn off all controls before unplugging.
Use extra care when cleaning on stairs.
Do not use to pick up flammable or combustible liquids, such as gasoline,
or use in areas where they may be present.
Keep the vacuum cleaner on the floor. Only the hand-held vacuum cleaners
may be set on furniture.
Cleaner must be in the upright position to lift the rotating brush off the car-
pet when doing above floor cleaning.
Do not use an extension cord with this vacuum cleaner.
Store the vacuum cleaner indoors. Put the vacuum cleaner away after use
to prevent tripping accidents.
Using improper voltage may result in damage to the motor and possible
injury to the user. Proper voltage is listed on the cleaner plate.

blade is wider than the other). This plug will fit in a polarized outlet only one
way. If the plug does not fit fully in the outlet, reverse the plug. If it still does

IF OBSTRUCTION DEVELOPS DURING FLOOR CLEANING:
1.
If obstruction develops while cleaning carpets,
turn cleaner OFF and unplug.
Check paper bag to see if it is
full. If full, replace with a new paper bag (Page 9).
2. Check dirt tube to see if there is an obstruction (Diagram
1).
If so, remove obstruction.
3.
Turn cleaner over and remove nozzle guard (Diagram 2). Clear any obstruction that occurs in or around
the brushroll area.
4.
Remove hose from hose inlet (Diagram
3).
Remove any obstruction.
NOTE:
Regularly clean debris from blue filter in bag compartment.
IF OBSTRUCTION DEVELOPS DURING TOOL USAGE:
1. If obstruction develops while above floor cleaning,
turn cleaner OFF and unplug.
