Power On Device
- Insert batteries and install compartment cover
- Pair Device to host: Choose the applicable pairing instructions from the options below:
A. This is a replacement remote:
1. Restart your Fire TV/TV Stick by unplugging the power cable from your power outlet than
plugins it back in. After the TV home screen displays, your remote is ready for pairing.
2. Press and hold the Home button on the new remote for at least 10 seconds. Your new
remote should automatically pair with our fire TV/TV stick. You will see an on-screen
message when it has successfully paired.
B. This is an additional remote:
1. On your new remote, press and hold the Home button for 120 seconds to enter
discoverable mode.
2. You must use your existing remote for the following steps. Press the Home button.
3. Navigate to the Settings location at the top of the screen. Select Controllers and Bluetooth
Devices > Amazon Fire TV Remotes > Add New Remote. Your Amazon Fire TV will search for
discoverable remotes, and display them in a list.
4. Select the new remote, named Amazon fire TV remote. You will see and on-screen message
when it has been successfully paired.

Using Your Device around Other Electronic Devices
The Device, uses, and can radiate radio frequency (RF) energy and, if not used in accordance with its
instructions, may cause interference to radio communications and electronic equipment. External RF
signals may affect improperly installed or inadequately shielded electronic operating systems,
entertainment systems, and personal medical devices.
While most modern electronic equipment is shielded from external RF signals, if in doubt, check with
the manufacturer. For personal medical devices (such as pacemakers and hearing aids), consult with
your physician or the manufacturer to determine if they are adequately shielded from external RF
signals.
There are some places where RF signals could constitute a hazard, such as health care facilities, and
construction sites. If you are not sure, look around for signs indicating that two-way radios or mobile
phones should be turned off.
