Thank you for purchasing the Video Unit.
To ensure correct usage, please read this instruction manual thoroughly.
This Video Unit is for use only with the following model: PDM-4210E chassis model
Preparations for Installation
* When installing the video unit, please be sure to turn off the power
switch and disconnect the power plug from the power outlet.
* Set a cushioning material (for example, the packing bag of the
plasma monitor) on a flat surface or table to prevent damage to the
plasma monitor, then gently place the plasma monitor face down on
the cushioning material. Ensure that there are no foreign objects on
the cushioning material before placing the plasma monitor on it.
* If you wish to use the pedestal, you can install the video unit after
mounting the plasma monitor on the pedestal.
* Please use a phillips screw driver for installation.

Installation Instructions
1. Blanking Plate Removal
Remove the two screws marked (a) in the diagram at right,
and remove the blanking plate.
2. Screws for Fixing Video Unit Removal
Remove the two screws marked (b) in the diagram at right.
These screws are used to fix the video unit in place.
3. Video Unit Installation
Set the video unit in the concave installation bay in the
plasma monitor.
Push the video unit toward the connector of the plasma
monitor until it is fully in position.
4. Fixing the video unit in place
To fix the video unit in place, replace the two screws marked
(b) you removed in step 2 back in their original screw holes
and tighten them.
Note - The correct screw torque is 0.5 -0.8 N•m {5-8
kgf•cm}. Over torque could damage the screw
hole.

Pour garantir un usage correct, veuillez lire entièrement ce manuel d’instructions.
Cette Unité Vidéo à moniteur plasma doit seulement être utilisé avec les modèle suivants : modèle de
châssis PDM-4210E
Préparer l’Installation
* Lors de l’installation de l'unité vidéo, assurez-vous de bien éteindre
le commutateur d’alimentation, et de déconnecter la fiche
d’alimentation de la prise de courant.
* Veuillez placer un matériel de rembourrage (par ex., le sac
d’emballage du moniteur plasma) sur une surface plane ou sur une
table, afin d’éviter d’endommager le moniteur plasma, puis posez
doucement le moniteur plasma à l’envers sur le matériel de
rembourrage. Avant de placer le moniteur plasma sur la surface
plane, veuillez vous assurer qu’elle est libre d’objets étrangers.
* Si vous utilisez le sur pied, vous pouvez installer l'unité vidéo après
avoir fixé sur pied.
* Un tournevis est nécessaire pour la vis à empreinte cruciforme.

1. Retirer la plaque obturatrice
Enlevez les deux vis (a) à l’aide d’un tournevis, et retirez la
plaque obturatrice.
2. Retirer les vis de fixation de l'unité vidéo
Retirez les deux vis (b) à l’aide d’un tournevis. Ces vis servent
à fixer l'unité vidéo.
3. Installer l'unité vidéo
Introduisez l'unité vidéo dans la partie concave du Moniteur
Plasma.
Enfoncez l'unité vidéo vers le connecteur du moniteur plasma,
jusqu’à ce qu’il ait totalement adopté sa position.
4. Fixer l'unité vidéo
Pour fixer l'unité vidéo, replacez les deux vis (b) retirées à
l’étape 2, dans les mêmes trous de vis.
Remarque : le couple de serrage est de 0,5-0,8 Nm {5-8 kgf
cm}. Un couple de serrage excessif pourrait
endommager le trou de vis.
