those published by your vehicle’s battery manufacturer and the manual of any other

device intended to be used with this unit. Failure to follow all listed instructions may result

in electric shock, ﬁre, and/or serious personal injury.

• Make sure the battery bank is fully charged before ﬁrst use.

GENERAL WARNINGS

• This appliance is NOT intended for use by persons with reduced physical, sensory, or

mental capabilities.

• Children or persons lacking in experience and knowledge also should NOT operate this

appliance unless he/she has been given supervision or instruction concerning the proper

usage and warnings of the appliance by a person responsible for their safety.

• For proper and safe operation of any accessory outlet, do not place anything in it except

the plug of the accessory to be used.

• Use only the charging adapters and jumpstarting clamps provided in this package.

Unauthorized parts may damage the unit.

• Wear complete eye and clothing protection when jumpstarting a vehicle. Do not touch

eyes while working with battery.

• Remove metal, personal jewelry, such as rings, bracelets, necklaces, and watches while

working with a vehicle battery. These items can produce a short-circuit that may cause

severe burns.

• Do not operate this unit in or around water. Exposure to excessive moisture will

damage the unit.

• Dropping, hitting, or otherwise applying excessive amounts of force to the battery

bank may damage the unit. This could result in loss of operation, electrical ﬁre, or other

undesired outcome.

CHARGING THE BATTERY BANK

This product may arrive partially charged from the manufacturer� It is recommended to

fully charge the unit immediately after purchase and before using for the first time� Prior to

charging the unit, read and understand all instructions in this manual�

In order to prolong the life of the battery bank, be sure to fully recharge the unit every 3 to 6

months, even if the battery bank has not been used.

WARNING

• Only use the charging adapters supplied with this unit!

• Do not charge the unit-on a boat, boat ramp, or dock since the electrical cords and outlets

used for charging could cause severe electrical shock if they get wet.

AC Charging

1. Insert AC charging adapter into charging jack of the unit.

2. Plug the other end of AC charging adapter into a wall socket. The green charging LED

indicator will be illuminated while the unit is charging.

3. Fully charge the unit (average 2-4 hours continuously between uses).

4. When charging is complete, unplug the AC charging adapter from the wall socket ﬁrst, then

from the charging jack on the unit.

5. The battery status can be checked by tapping on the “MODE” button once.

DC Charging in Your Vehicle

Engine must be running while charging the battery bank�

1. Turn the vehicle engine on.

2. Insert the DC charging adapter into the charging jack of the unit. The green charging LED

indicator will be illuminated while the unit is charging.

3. Plug the other end of DC charging adapter into vehicle’s cigarette lighter (DC) socket.

4. Fully charge the unit (around 4-5 hours continuous). Engine must running during entire charge.

5. When charging is completed, unplug the DC charging adapter from the vehicle ﬁrst, then

from the charging jack on the unit.

6. The battery status can be checked by tapping on the “MODE” button once.

JUMPSTARTER

WARNING

Failure to follow these instructions may cause damage or explosion�

• Jumpstart connection is ALWAYS live! Never allow the clamps to touch together or contact the

same piece of metal.

• Do not attempt to jumpstart your vehicle when battery bank is below 20% charge (observe

battery status indicator lights on the unit).

• Only use with positive grounded systems.

• Do not reverse jumper cables.

• Use safety glasses to protect eyes while jumpstarting a battery.

• If the engine fails to start after two attempts, discontinue jumpstart procedure. Excessive

engine cranking can damage the vehicle’s starter motor. Look for other problems that may

need to be corrected or call for professional service.

• Disconnect the clamps from the vehicle battery immediately after engine starts. Return the

cable clamps to their storage holsters when not in use.

• Vehicles equipped with on-board computers may be affected if the engine battery is

jumpstarted. Read your vehicle owner’s manual before attempting to start the vehicle to

determine if external starting assistance can be used.

• If the battery bank is overloaded while in the jumpstart mode, quickly disconnect the clamps

and let the unit rest for ten minutes then plug it into a power source for a few minutes to reset

the unit. All functions on the battery bank will not operate until this is done.

Procedure

1. Turn off the vehicle ignition and all accessories (radios, lights, air conditioners), and

disconnect electronic devices.

2. Set the emergency brake and put vehicles with automatic transmission in park position.

3. Determine the polarity of the vehicle’s battery terminals. The positive (POS, P, +) battery

terminal usually is red and larger in diameter than the negative (NEG, N, −) terminal. If you

are unsure, ﬁrst refer to the vehicle owner’s manual.

4. Remove clamps from the holders. Never allow clamps (positive & negative terminals) to

touch together or contact the same piece of metal to prevent short-circuits and arcing.

5. Securely connect the positive (+) red clamp to the positive (POS, P, +) terminal of the vehicle

battery or the remote positive (+) terminal if equipped.

6. Securely connect the negative (−) black clamp to an unpainted metal surface on the engine

of the dead car. Find an unpainted bolt or bracket that is as far from the dead battery as

possible. This will provide a solid ground while further reducing the possibility of igniting

any hydrogen gas.

7. Insert the blue plug of the jumper cables into the battery bank’s jumper terminal.

8. Place unit on a secure surface away from moving parts.

9. Start vehicle engine. Stop if the vehicle does not start after 4 to 5 seconds of engine

cranking. Disconnect the cables and wait 3 to 4 minutes, then try again. If engine does not

start after second attempt, discontinue and consult a professional.

10. When ﬁnished, disconnect the clamps in reverse sequence of connecting procedure—ﬁrst

disconnect negative (black), then positive (red) clamps.

DC POWER PORT

For proper and safe operation of the 12 Volt DC power accessory outlets, do not place anything

into it except the plug of the accessory to be used.

Overloading the port may result in “tripping” a self-resetting circuit breaker. Removing the

overload automatically restores power to the DC Power Port.

1. Insert the DC cable jack into the DC output port.

2. Select the appropriate connection head and attach to the other end of the cable.

3. Set master switch to the “I” position.

4. Using the MODE button, press (not hold) to select the voltage your device requires.

5. After use, turn off the master switch (“O” position).

6. Recharge the battery bank as soon as possible.

USING THE USB SOCKET

1. Connect the USB device to the battery bank with either a user-supplied cable or the included

4-in-1 USB adapter.

2. Slide the master switch to the “I” position.

3. When your mobile device is fully charged, disconnect your device from the battery bank

and slide the master switch back to “O”.

4. If the charge in the battery bank is low, the USB port will shut off to prevent damage to the

battery bank. Recharge the battery bank as soon as possible.

LED FLASHLIGHT

The light will automatically shut off before the battery bank runs out of power.

1. Hold down the “MODE” button until the indicator lights turn on (~3 seconds).

2. Press once to switch lighting modes (second press will turn the light off).

3. Recharge battery as soon as possible.

CARE & MAINTENANCE

This unit may be stored in any position. Make sure the clamps are secure inside the booster cable

storage covers and store at room temperature. If the battery bank is not used for a prolonged

period of time, recharge every 2 months in the winter time and every month in the summer time.

PROPER DISPOSAL

• This product has no consumer serviceable parts.

• Do not attempt to remove or replace the battery used in this device. When

the battery has reached the end of its lifetime, please take the entire unit to a battery

recycling facility.

All Wagan Tech products must be registered within (30) days of purchase to activate

Warranty Duration: This product is warranted to the original purchaser for a period

of one (1) year from the original purchase date, to be free of defects in material

and workmanship. WAGAN Corporation disclaims any liability for consequential

damages. In no event will WAGAN Corporation be responsible for any amount of

damages beyond the amount paid for the product at retail.

Warranty Performance: During the above one (1) year warranty period, a product with

a defect will be replaced with a comparable model when the product is returned to

WAGAN Corporation with an original store receipt. The replacement product will be

in warranty for the balance of the original one (1) year warranty period.

To return a defective item, please contact WAGAN Corporation at (800) 231-

5806 to obtain a Returned Merchandise Authorization number (RMA#), and return

instructions. Each item returned will require a separate RMA#. After you have received

the RMA# and the return instructions from WAGAN Corporation, please follow the

instructions and send the item with PREPAID SHIPPING, along with all of the required

documentation, a complete explanation of the problem, your name, address and

daytime phone number. WAGAN Corporation will, at its option, replace or repair the

defective part.

A Returned Merchandise Authorization number (RMA#) is REQUIRED when sending

in any defective item. WAGAN Corporation is not responsible for any item(s) returned

without an ofﬁcial Returned Merchandise Authorization number. The item(s) must be

returned with prepaid shipping. WAGAN Corporation is not responsible for any

shipping charges incurred in returning the item(s) back to the company for repair or

replacement. This warranty is void if the product has been damaged by accident,

CARGA DEL BANCO DE BATERÍAS

Este producto podría estar parcialmente cargado de fábrica� Se recomienda realizar una

carga completa de la unidad inmediatamente después de comprarla y antes de utilizarla

por primera vez� Antes de cargar la unidad, lea y comprenda todas las instrucciones en

este manual�

Para prolongar la duración del banco de baterías, recargue completamente la unidad cada 3 a

6 meses, incluso si no se utilizó.

Advertencia

• ¡Utilice únicamente los adaptadores de carga suministrados con la unidad!

• No cargue la unidad en una embarcación, rampa para embarcaciones o muelle ya que los

cables eléctricos y tomacorrientes de carga podrían causar choque eléctrico si se mojan.

Carga con CA

1. Inserte el adaptador de carga CA en el conector de carga de la unidad.

2. Conecte el otro extremo del adaptador de carga CA a la toma de la pared. El indicador

LED verde de carga se encenderá mientras se carga la unidad.

3. Cargue completamente la unidad (un promedio de 2 a 4 horas continuas entre usos).

4. Una vez ﬁnalizada la carga, desconecte el adaptador de carga CA de la pared primero y

luego, del conector de carga de la unidad.

5. Puede veriﬁcar el estado de la batería tocando el botón “MODO” una vez.

Carga con CC en Su Vehículo

El motor debe estar en marcha al cargar el banco de baterías�

1. Encienda el motor del vehículo.

2. Inserte el adaptador de carga CC en el conector de carga de la unidad. El indicador LED

verde de carga se encenderá mientras se carga la unidad.

3. Conecte el otro extremo del adaptador de carga CC al enchufe del encendedor del

vehículo (CC).

4. Cargue completamente la unidad (aproximadamente 4 a 5 horas continuas). El motor debe

estar encendido durante todo el tiempo de carga.

5. Una vez ﬁnalizada la carga, desconecte el adaptador de carga de CC del vehículo primero

y luego, del conector de carga de la unidad.

6. Puede veriﬁcar el estado de la batería tocando el botón “MODO” una vez.

ADVERTENCIA

No seguir las instrucciones puede provocar daños o explosión�

• ¡La conexión de puente SIEMPRE tiene tensión! Nunca junte las pinzas y evite que entren en

contacto con una misma pieza de metal.

• No intente puentear su vehículo si el banco de baterías tiene menos de 20 % de carga

(veriﬁque las luces indicadoras de estado de la batería en la unidad).

• Utilice únicamente con una puesta a tierra positiva.

• No invierta los cables de puente.

• Use anteojos de seguridad para proteger los ojos al puentear una batería.

• Si el motor no arranca después de dos intentos, suspenda el procedimiento. Intentar

arrancar excesivamente puede dañar el motor de arranque del vehículo. Podría ser

necesario solucionar otros problemas, solicite asistencia profesional.

• Desconecte las pinzas de la batería del vehículo inmediatamente después de que el motor

arranque. Guarde las pinzas de puente en su funda cuando no las utilice.

• Los vehículos con computadora de abordo podrían sufrir daños si se puentea la batería.

Lea el manual del fabricante del vehículo antes de intentar arrancar el vehículo, para ver si

se permite el uso de arranque auxiliar.

• Si el banco de baterías se sobrecarga durante el modo de puente, desconecte rápidamente

las pinzas y deje reposar la unidad durante diez minutos; luego, conéctela a una fuente de

alimentación unos minutos para restablecer la unidad. Todas las funciones del banco de

baterías no funcionarán hasta completar esto.

Procedimiento

1. Quite el contacto del vehículo, apague todos los accesorios (radio, luces, aire

acondicionado) y desconecte los dispositivos electrónicos.

2. Aplique el freno de emergencia, los vehículos con transmisión automática deben estar en

posición de estacionamiento.

3. Determine la polaridad de los terminales de la batería del vehículo. El terminal positivo

(POS, P, +) generalmente es rojo y tiene mayor diámetro que el terminal negativo (NEG, N,

−). Si no está seguro, consulte primero el manual del fabricante del vehículo.

4. Extraiga las pinzas de los soportes. Nunca junte las pinzas (terminales positivo y

negativo) y evite que entren en contacto con una misma pieza de metal, a ﬁn de prevenir

cortocircuitos y arcos voltaicos.

5. Conecte ﬁrmemente la pinza positiva roja (+) al terminal positivo (POS, P, +) de la batería

del vehículo o al terminal positivo remoto (+) si corresponde.

6. Conecte ﬁrmemente la pinza negativa negra (-) a una superﬁcie metálica no pintada del

motor del vehículo sin batería. Busque un perno o abrazadera sin pintura lo más lejos

posible de la batería agotada. Servirá de tierra aparte de reducir aún más la posibilidad

de combustión de gas hidrógeno.

7. Inserte el conector azul de los cables de puente en el borne de puente del banco

de baterías.

8. Coloque la unidad sobre una superﬁcie segura, alejada de partes en movimiento.

9. Arranque el motor del vehículo. Si el motor del vehículo no arranca después de 4 o 5

segundos, deténgase. Desconecte los cables y espere 3 a 4 minutos y vuelva a intentarlo.

Si el motor no arranca después del segundo intento, suspenda el procedimiento y consulte

a un experto.

10. Al ﬁnalizar, desconecte las pinzas en orden inverso al procedimiento de conexión—primero

desconecte la pinza negativa (negra) y luego, la positiva (roja).

PUERTO DE CARGA CC

Para la operación correcta y segura de la toma para accesorios de 12 V CC, no coloque nada

allí excepto el conector del accesorio a utilizar.

La sobrecarga del puerto puede ocasionar la “activación” de un disyuntor automático. Eliminar

la sobrecarga automáticamente restablecerá la corriente en el puerto de alimentación CC.

1. Inserte el conector del cable CC en el puerto de salida CC.

2. Seleccione el cabezal de conexión correcto y conéctelo al otro extremo del cable.

3. Coloque el interruptor general en la posición “I”.

4. Presione el botón MODO (sin mantener) para seleccionar el voltaje que requiere su dispositivo.

5. Después de utilizar, apague el interruptor general (la posición “O”).

6. Recargue el banco de baterías lo antes posible.

USO DE LA CONEXIÓN USB

1. Conecte el dispositivo USB al banco de baterías con el cable del usuario o utilice el

adaptador USB 4 en 1 suministrado.

2. Deslice el interruptor general a la posición “I”.

3. Cuando su dispositivo móvil esté completamente cargado, desconéctelo del banco de

baterías y deslice el interruptor general a la posición “O”.

4. Si la carga del banco de baterías está baja, el puerto USB se desactivará para evitar daños

al banco de baterías. Recargue el banco de baterías lo antes posible.

LINTERNA LED

La luz se apagará automáticamente antes de que se agote la energía del banco de baterías.

1. Mantenga presionado el botón de “MODO” hasta que las luces indicadoras se enciendan

(~3 segundos).

2. Presione una vez para cambiar el modo de iluminación (al presionar por segunda vez se

apagará la luz).

3. Recargue la batería lo antes posible.

CUIDADO Y MANTENIMIENTO

Esta unidad se puede almacenar en cualquier posición. Veriﬁque que las pinzas estén seguras

dentro del estuche de almacenamiento de cables y almacene a temperatura ambiente. Si el

banco de baterías no se utiliza por un periodo prolongado, recárguelo cada 2 meses en invierno

y todos los meses en verano.

ELIMINACIÓN ADECUADA

• Este producto no contiene piezas reparables por el usuario.

• No intente quitar o reemplazar la batería de este dispositivo. Cuando la batería haya

alcanzado su vida útil, lleve toda la unidad a un establecimiento de reciclado de baterías.

mencionado, un producto con defectos se reemplazará con un modelo similar cuando

el producto sea devuelto a WAGAN Corporación con el recibo original de la tienda.

El producto de reemplazo estará en garantía por el resto del período original de un

(1)año de garantía.

Para devolver un artículo defectuoso, póngase en contacto con WAGAN Corporación

al (800) 231-5806 para obtener un número de autorización de mercadería devuelta

(RMA#) y las instrucciones correspondientes a la devolución. Cada artículo devuelto

necesitará un RMA# por separado. Después de haber recibido el RMA# y las

instrucciones de devolución por parte de WAGAN Corporación, siga las instrucciones

y envíe el artículo con ENVÍO PREPAGO, junto con la documentación solicitada,

una explicación completa del problema, su nombre, dirección y número telefónico

para ponerse en contacto durante el día. WAGAN Corporación, en forma opcional,

decidirá reemplazar o reparar la pieza defectuosa.

Cuando se envía cualquier artículo defectuoso es NECESARIO un número de

autorización de mercadería devuelta (RMA#). WAGAN Corporación no es

responsable por el/los artículo(s) devuelto(s) sin un número oﬁcial de autorización

de mercadería devuelta. El/los artículo(s) debe(n) ser devueltos con envío prepago.

WAGAN Corporación no es responsable por ningún costo de envío en que se incurra

para la devolución de artículo(s) a la empresa para su reparación o reemplazo.

Esta garantía será nula si el producto fue dañado por accidente, en el transporte,

uso irracional, mal uso, negligencia, mantenimiento inadecuado, uso comercial,

reparaciones por personal no autorizado u otras causas que no surjan de defectos en

los materiales o la mano de obra. Esta garantía no se extiende a ninguna unidad que

haya sido utilizada violando las instrucciones escritas provistas.

Responsabilidad legal de la garantía: Esta garantía reemplaza toda garantía expresa

o implícita y ningún representante o persona está autorizada a asumir ninguna otra

responsabilidad en relación con la venta de nuestros productos. No podrá haber
