dition and working properly. Important: this information relates
to the characteristics, services, assembly, disassembly, mainte-
nance, conservation, disinfection, etc. of the device. Although
it does include some suggestions on how to use the device, it
cannot be considered a true to life instruction manual (the same
as an operating and maintenance handbook for a car does not
teach how to drive it and does not replace a driving school). War-
ning: rescue work, tree climbing and works at height are
activities with a high degree of risk, which may lead to acci-
dents and even death. The user takes complete responsibility
for the risks deriving from these activities and from using our
devices. This device can be used only by individuals medically
t. It is essential that the users of this type of equipment receive
proper training and instruction.

nization. The outcome of these periodic inspections shall be recor-
ded on the device’s inspection chart or a designated register.
When inspection reveals defects in, damage to, or inadequate main-
tenance of equipment, the equipment shall be permanently removed
from service or undergo adequate corrective maintenance, by the
original equipment manufacturer or their designate, before return to
service. In addition to the inspection requirements set forth in the
manufacturer’s instructions, the equipment shall be inspected by the
user before and after using the device and additionally by a com-
petent person, other than the user, at interval of no more than one
year for:
- absence or illegibility of markings,
- absence of any elements affecting the equipment form, t or fun-
ction,
- evidence of defects in or damage to hardware elements including
cracks, sharp edges, deformation, corrosion, chemical attack,
excessive heating, alteration and excessive wear,

and/or requirements for this device. The user is obliged to know and
apply these laws, which may in some cases impose obligations dif-
ferent from those contained in this information.
7 – GUARANTEE
The manufacturer guarantees that the device complies with regu-
lations in force at the time of production. The guarantee covering
faults is limited to production defects and raw materials. It does not
include wear and tear, oxidation, damages caused by improper use
and/or during competition, incorrect maintenance, transport, con-
servation, storage, etc. The guarantee becomes void as soon as
the device is modied or tampered with. The validity corresponds
to the legal guarantee of the country where the device was sold by
the manufacturer, with effect from the date of sale. After this period
no claim can be made against the manufacturer. Any request for
repair or replacement under this warranty shall be accompanied by
a proof of purchase. If the defect is accepted, the manufacturer, at

8 – SPECIFIC INFORMATION
SPIN WORK is specically designed for rock climbing, rescue and
working at heights, complying with the requirements set forth in
standard ANSI/ISEA Z89.1-2014, and mainly designed to protect
the user from falling objects and brain injuries or skull fractures that
might result.
Important:
- The helmet is designed to absorb the energy of a shock through
the destruction or partial damage of the shell and / or webbings:
replace the helmet even if the damage is not visible.
- The possible change or removal of original components of the pro-
duct can limit its safety features. It is highly recommended that no
modications or adjustments are made to the equipment to add
further components unless explicitly advised so by the manufactu-
rer in writing.
- Do not modify your helmet and do not apply coatings, adhesives or
solvents different than those supplied by the manufacturer,
- Do not hang up your helmet by the size adjustment device.
Warning: these helmets are not for motorcycle use!
Fig. 1 – Nomenclature and main materials: (A) ABS Shell, (B) Adju-
stable Size System, (C) Buckle, (D) Polypropylene Chinstrap, (E)
Visor Fixing Hole, (F) Head Lamp Clip, (G) Slot For Ear Protectors,
(H) Polycarbonate Head Band System, (I) Polyurethane Inner Pad-
ding, (J) Inner Polystirene Shell
In order to assure a safe protection, this helmet must be adjusted to
t the user’s head dimensions. The helmet must be adjusted to t
the head properly so that it does not rock side to side or move when
the chin strap is locked and the slider is in the correct position based
on the head perimeter. The helmet will only offer the highest level of
protection if this adjustment is done correctly.
To guarantee adequate protection:
1. wear the helmet with the back size adjust system open,
2. lock the size adjust system by rotating the back wheel (g. 2A),
3. lock the chin strap buckle. A locking “click” must be heard. Tighten
the strap so that the buckle is properly locked (g. 2B),
4. adjust the chin strap,
5. check the correct position of the helmet and the correct locking of
the systems (buckle and back size adjust system) - Fig. 3.
A perfect and safe adjustment on the head is guaranteed only if the
chin strap is locked and tightened and with a correct adjustment to
the cranial perimeter. The straps must not cover the ears and the
buckle must not touch the chin. The locked chin strap must not exert
pressure on the larynx. The helmet must be adjusted on the head
always in a horizontal position so that it protects the forehead as
well.
Warning: the helmet shall be worn perfectly centred on the
head; it should not move, either backwards, forwards, or late-
rally. The better the helmet adjustment, the higher the level of
safety. It shall always be fastened!
8.1 – Optional accessories

9 – PRE AND POST USE CONTROLS
If the product is used under extreme conditions, very high or very
low temperatures, sea water, or if exposed to frequent blows
and shocks due to the fall of stones/ice and if it presents many
scratches, its safety features could be reduced even after a brief
period of use so that the product should be replaced.
This helmet is designed to absorb the energy after an impact.
The absorption of the blow occurs through the partial breaking
or damaging of the shell or the internal part of the helmet. After
a strong impact (blow, fall of stones or ice) the helmet must be
replaced even if it does not present visible damages. The same
applies in the case of deep scratches or if the product gets into
contact with chemicals.
Check and make sure that:
- the shell (A) is not deformed and does not show signs of cracks
or wear,
- textile parts do not show signs of wear, tear or unstitched se-
ams,
- the up/down adjustable size system (B) and the locking system
(C and D) work as described in pictograms No. 2A and 2B,
- the device is suitable for the intended purpose.
