Congratulations to the purchase of this Audizio product. Please read this manual thoroughly prior to using the unit in order to

benefit fully from all features.

Read the manual prior to using the unit. Follow the instructions in order not to invalidate the warranty. Take all precautions to

avoid fire and/or electrical shock. Repairs must only be carried out by a qualified technician in order to avoid electrical shock.

Keep the manual for future reference.

• Prior to using the unit, please ask advice from a

specialist. When the unit is switched on for the first

time, some smell may occur. This is normal and will

disappear after a while.

• The unit contains voltage carrying parts. Therefore do

NOT open the housing.

• Do not place metal objects or pour liquids into the unit

This may cause electrical shock and malfunction.

• Do not place the unit near heat sources such as

radiators, etc. Do not place the unit on a vibrating

surface. Do not cover the ventilation holes.

• The unit is not suitable for continuous use.

• Be careful with the mains lead and do not damage it. A

faulty or damaged mains lead can cause electrical shock

and malfunction.

• When unplugging the unit from a mains outlet, always

pull the plug, never the lead.

• Do not plug or unplug the unit with wet hands.

• If the plug and/or the mains lead are damaged, they

need to be replaced by a qualified technician.

• If the unit is damaged to such an extent that internal

parts are visible, do NOT plug the unit into a mains

outlet and DO NOT switch the unit on. Contact your

dealer. Do NOT connect the unit to a rheostat or

dimmer.

• To avoid fire and shock hazard, do not expose the unit

to rain and moisture.

• All repairs should be carried out by a qualified

technician only.

• Connect the unit to an earthed mains outlet (220-

240Vac/50Hz) protected by a 10-16A fuse.

• During a thunderstorm or if the unit will not be used for

a longer period of time, unplug it from the mains. The

rule is: Unplug it from the mains when not in use.

• If the unit has not been used for a longer period of time,

condensation may occur. Let the unit reach room

temperature before you switch it on. Never use the unit

in humid rooms or outdoors.

• To prevent accidents in companies, you must follow the

applicable guide lines and follow the instructions.

• Do not repeatedly switch the fixture on and off. This

shortens the life time.

• Keep the unit out of the reach of children. Do not leave

the unit unattended.

• Do not use cleaning sprays to clean switches. The

residues of these sprays cause deposits of dust and

grease. In case of malfunction, always seek advice from

a specialist.

• Do not force the controls.

• This unit is with speaker inside which can cause

magnetic field. Keep this unit at least 60cm away from

computer or TV.

• If this product have a built-in lead-acid rechargeable

battery. Please recharge the battery every 3 months if

you are not going to use the product for a long period of

time. Otherwise the battery may be permanently

damaged.

• If the battery is damaged please replace with same

specifications battery. And dispose the damaged

battery environment friendly.

• If the unit has fallen, always have it checked by a

qualified technician before you switch the unit on

again.

• Do not use chemicals to clean the unit. They damage

the varnish. Only clean the unit with a dry cloth.

• Keep away from electronic equipment that may cause

interference.

• Only use original spares for repairs, otherwise serious

damage and/or dangerous radiation may occur.

• Switch the unit off prior to unplugging it from the mains

and/or other equipment. Unplug all leads and cables

prior to moving the unit.

• Make sure that the mains lead cannot be damaged when

people walk on it. Check the mains lead before every

use for damages and faults!

• The mains voltage is 220-240Vac/50Hz. Check if power

outlet match. If you travel, make sure that the mains

voltage of the country is suitable for this unit.

• Keep the original packing material so that you can

transport the unit in safe conditions.

When you first connect the unit to the mains socket, display will show the “00:00:00”. If you can receive a DAB+ signal in your

location, the unit will synchronize to the current local time. After approximately one minute, it will switch to STAND BY mode.

• Press ON/STANDBY on the unit or on the remote control to switch the unit to ON mode.

• Press ON/STANDBY on the unit or on the remote control to switch the unit back to STANDBY mode.

• Disconnect the mains plug from the mains socket if you want to switch the unit off completely.

Note:

If the digital radio is not used for 20 minutes, it will automatically enter into standby mode.

You can set the time manually if the radio signal is not strong enough to set automatically.

Press the MENU button on the remote or press and hold the MENU/INFO button on the micro system.

When the FULL SCAN option appears (DAB mode) or SCAN SETTING (FM mode) press either < TUNE or TUNE > buttons on the

remote or [ ] or [ ] buttons on the micro system and locate SYSTEM, press the ENTER button on the remote or UNPAIR/

ENTER on the micro system.

Use the < TUNE or TUNE > buttons on the remote or [ ] or [ ] buttons on the micro system to find TIME and press the

ENTER button on the remote or UNPAIR/ENTER on the micro system.

From this menu there are multiple options - SET TIME/DATE, AUTO UPDATE, SET 12/24 HOUR & SET DATE FORMAT Select one

and press the ENTER button on the remote or UNPAIR/ENTER on the micro system.

SET TIME

Use the < TUNE/ TUNE > buttons on the remote or [ ] or [ ] buttons on the micro system to adjust the digits and the ENTER

button on the remote or UNPAIR/ENTER on the micro system to skip to the next setting.

Use the same buttons from step 1 (above) to set the time and then the date.

Press the ENTER button on the remote or UNPAIR/ENTER on the micro system when complete to store the settings.

AUTO UPDATE

This setting specifies the automatic clock setting.

Use the < TUNE/ TUNE > buttons on the remote or [ ] or [ ] buttons on the micro system to select from- ANY (sets the clock

from any mode possible), DAB (sets the clock only from DAB mode), FM (sets the clock only from FM mode), NONE (does not

set the clock automatically and uses the manual time as described above)

Press the ENTER button on the remote or UNPAIR/ENTER on the micro system to store the setting.

SET 12/24 HOUR

Select how the clock is displayed.

Use the < TUNE/ TUNE > buttons on the remote or [ ] or [ ] buttons on the micro system to select from 12 or 24 hours.

Press the ENTER button on the remote or UNPAIR/ENTER on the micro system to store the setting.

SET DATE FORMAT

Select how the date is displayed.

Use the < TUNE/ TUNE > buttons on the remote or [ ] or [ ] buttons on the micro system to select from- DD-MM-YYYY (Day,

Month & Year), MM-DD-YYYY (Month, Day & Year)

Press the ENTER button on the remote or UNPAIR/ENTER on the micro system to store the setting.

Follow the below instructions to switch between CD, DAB, FM, AUX IN, USB & BT input modes.

Press the SOURCE button on the micro system repeatedly to cycle between CD, FM, AUDIO-IN & BT input modes.

Press the relevant button on the remote to select the input mode you require. Press the FM/DAB button to switch to DAB

mode. Press once more to switch to FM mode.

Before switching to the DAB input mode the antenna needs to be extended fully to allow stations to be located during the

initial scan.

When the DAB mode is activated for the first time the unit will perform a scan for available stations. You will see SCANNING..

0 appear on the display until stations are located and then the O will change to the amount of stations found.

When located the first alphanumerical station will begin playback while the other stations are stored.

lf no stations where located during the scan, relocate the unit, extend the antenna fully and read the Performing a DAB

station scan section.

Listening to the stored DAB stations

To listen the DAB stations that have been stored press the [ ] or [ ] buttons on the micro system or < TUNE or TUNE >

buttons on the remote control.

Press the UNPAIR/ENTER button on the micro system or ENTER on the remote to switch to the selected station.

Performing a DAB station scan

Should you need to perform a fresh station scan for example you relocate the unit or a new station comes online follow the

below steps.

Ouick scan searches all DAB channels .

To activate the quick scan press the SCAN button on the micro system or remote control

To activate the full scan press the MENU button on the remote or press and hold the MENU/INFO button on the micro system.

When the FULL SCAN option appears press the ENTER button on the remote or UNPAIR/ENTER on the micro system to perform

a full scan.

Manual DAB tuning

As well as an auto tune function, you can manually tune the receiver. This can help when aligning your aerial or when adding

stations that were missed while auto tuning.

Press the MENU button on the remote or press and hold the MENU/INFO button on the micro system.

When the FULL SCAN option appears press either < TUNE or TUNE > buttons on the remote or [ ] or [ ] buttons on the

micro system and locate MANUAL TUNE, press the ENTER button on the remote or UNPAIR/ENTER on the micro system.

Use the < TUNE or TUNE > buttons on the remote or [ ] or [ ] buttons on the micro system to cycle through the DAB

multiplexes, which are numbered 174.928 - 239.200MHz.

Now press the ENTER button on the remote or UNPAIR/E NTER on the micro system to enter the selected ensemble/multiplex,

there wilt be a bar graph denoting the signa! strength displayed.

To save any extra stations located to the station list or to return to the default screen, press the ENTER button on the remote

or UNPAIR/ENTER on the micro system.

Pruning DAB stations

When the radio has performed a Scan in several locations you may find there are stored stations that you can no longer

receive . This function automatically removes them from the stored station list

Press the MENU button on the remote or press and hold the MENU/INFO button on the micro system.

When the FULL SCAN option appears press either < TUNE or TUNE > buttons on the remote or [ ] or [ ] buttons on the

micro system and locate PRUNE, press the ENTER button on the remote or UNPAIR/ENTER on the micro system.

Use the < TUNE or TUNE > buttons on the remote or [ ] or [ ] buttons on the micro system to select YES and press the

ENTER button on the remote or UNPAIR /ENTER on the micro system.

DRC (Dynamic range control)

This function causes the radio to reduce the dynamic range of the audio signal. The purpose of this is to adapt the dynamic

range of the audio signal to listening in a noisy environment

Press the MENU button on the remote or press and hold the MENU/INFO button on the micro system.

When the FULL SCAN option appears press either < TUNE or TUNE > buttons on the remote or [ ] or [ ] buttons on the

micro system and locate DRC, press the ENTER button on the remote or UNPAIR/ENTER on the micro system.

Use the < TUNE or TUNE > buttons on the remote or [ ] or [ ] buttons on the micro system to select between DRC OFF, DRC

LOW and DRC HIGH.

Press the ENTER button on the remote or UNPAIR/ENTER on the micro system to save the setting.

Note: This is not available on many DAB stations.

To scan for radio stations press and hold either of the < TUNE or TUNE > buttons on the remote or [ ] or [ ] buttons on the

micro system for two seconds to scan down or up the frequency band. When a station is found the scan will stop and the

station will begin to play.

To fine tune the frequency press either of the < TUNE or TUNE > buttons on the remote or [ ] or [ ] buttons on the micro

system (do not press & hold), to jump 0.05 MHz up or down.

Alternatively press the SCAN button on the remote to begin scanning up the frequency range. When a station is located

playback will begin automatically.

FM scan modes

Scan modes determine how strong an FM signa! needs to be accepted as a potential radio station when scanning.

Press the MENU button on the remote or press and hold the MENU/INFO button on the micro system

When the SCAN SETTING option appears press and hold the ENTER button on the remote or UNPAIR/ENTER on the micro

system.

Use the < TUNE or TUNE > buttons on the remote or [ ] or [ ] buttons on the micro system to select between STRONG

STATIONS (Strong local stations only) or ALL STATIONS (All available stations)

Press ENTER button on the remote or UNPAIR/ENTER on the micro system to save.

Storing station presets

Follow the below steps to store a tuned station to one of 10 preset locations to allow quick access.

Tune to the station you wish to store as a preset and follow the below instructions.

Press and hold the MEMORY button on the remote control. The display will show

SAVE TO P1, where P1 is the selected preset location.

Use the PRESET UP or PRESET DOWN buttons on the remote to select the preset number from 1-10 you wish to use. Then

press the ENTER button on the remote or UNPAIR/ENTER on the micro system to store.

When stored the display will show PRESET X STORED.

Once a station is saved to a preset you will no longer see # EMPTY when pressing the MEMORY button, instead the station

name or frequency will appear.

Recalling station presets

To recall a stored preset station press the relevant numeric button on the remote control.

For example to recall the station stored on preset 3 press the numeric button 3. And to recall a station stored on location 10,

press the 10+ button and then the O button.

Alternatively, press the MEMORY button, use PRESET UP / PRESET DOWN on the remote to select the stored preset station,

then press the enter button to start.

Switch the input mode to CD & follow the instructions below to load a CD/ MP3CD.

1. Press the OPEN/CLOSE button on the micro system or remote, when the disc compartment cover slides fully to the

left; insert a disc into the spindle (label facing outwards)

2. Press the OPEN/CLOSE button once more to close the drawer.

3. When the door is closed READING will appear on the display as the unit detects compatible audio tracks .

Playing a CD/ MP3CD

1. After loading a CD in the steps above, the disc will be read and playback will begin automatically from track 01

2. To stop playback press the■ STOP button on the micro system or on the remote.

3. To pause playback press the ►II PLAY/PAUSE button micro system or on the remote during playback. To resume

playback press the ►II PLAY/PAUSE button once more.

Skipping tracks on a CD/ MP3CD

1. Skip to the next track on a disc by pressing [ ] button on the micro system or the remote control.

2. Skip to the previous track by pressing [ ] button on the micro system or the remote control.

Fast searching tracks CD/ MP3CD

1. To fast forward a track during playback press and hold FORWARD on the micro system or remote control.

2. To fast rewind a track during playback press and hold BACKWARD on the micro system or remote control.

Programmed playback CD

1. Press the STOP button to stop playback (if required).

2. Press the MEMORY button on the remote control. You will see the below options appear on the display.

3. Use the [ ] or [ ] buttons to select the track

4. Press the MEMORY button to proceed to programming the next track.

5. Repeat steps 3-4 until you have programmed all the tracks you require in the playlist, up toa maximum of 20 tracks.

6. Press the ►II PLAY/PAUSE button on the micro system or remote to begin playback in the programmed order.

7. To cancel the program sequence press the ■ STOP button on the micro system or remote twice.

Follow the below instructions to repeat tracks on a CD.

1. During playback press the REPEAT button on the remote control to repeat the current track.

2. Press the REPEAT button again to repeat all tracks on the disc.

3. To cancel the repeat function press the REPEAT button once more.

Numeric buttons

While listening to a CD a specific track number can be played by pressing the relative digit on the number buttons.

Track 02 Press 2

Track 12 . Press 2 then 10+

Track 22 • Press 2 then 10+ twice

Random playback/ MP3CD

Follow the below instructions to playback all tracks on a CD in a random order.

During playback press the RANDOM button on the remote control to begin random playback.

Press the INTRO button during playback to play the first 10 seconds of all tracks on the disc.

NOTE: When using the BT connection, you can listen to audio wirelessly from a BT audio device (For example an MP3 player)

within 10 meters of the Micro System unit.

Make sure you are in BT input mode,

When selected the BT LINK text on the display will flash while the system tries to connect to previously paired devices.

If no devices are found the BT LINK text will continue to flash to indicate it is ready for pairing a new device.

Enable the BT function on your audio device and search fora device labelled

Audizio Tours in the available list

Select and enable pairing for the Audizio Tours device. lf prompted for a password enter 0000

lf pairing is successful the micro system will play a melody and the BT LINK text will stop flashing.

lf the connected device goes out of range, the micro system will attempt to connect for 2 minutes. When the device comes

into range the unit will reconnect again automatically.

To remove a paired device using the micro system, press and hold the UNPAIR/ENTER button on the micro system or press the

UNPAIR button on the remote The BT LINK text will begin flashing again.

Note: If you turn off either device before pairing is complete the process will need to be repeated when powered ON again.

insert a compatible USB flash drive into the USB port on the top of the micro system and switch to USB input mode

The unit will scan the USB flash drive and display the total number of tracks found on the drive. Playback of track 01 will

begin automatically.

Tracks inside folders are listed as part of the total number of tracks.

USB/ MP3 information

Do not remove the USB device during playback. Max 999 tracks and 99 folders can be recognized USB flash drive format FAT

16, 32 only. USB reading speed may be affected by the number of files on the device

Skipping MP3 tracks on a USB flash drive

Skip to the next track by pressing [ ] on the micro system or remote control.

Skip to the previous track by pressing [ ] on the micro system or remote control.

Fast searching MP3 tracks on a USB flash drive

To fast forward a track during playback press and hold [ ]on the micro system or remote control.

To fast rewind a track during playback press and hold [ ] on tr1e micro system or remote control.

Programmed playback (USB)/ MP3CD

1. Press the STOP button to stop playback (if required).

2. Press the MEMORY button on the remote control. You will see the options appear on the display.

3. Use the FOLDER+/- buttons on the remote control to select the folder that track 01

resides in. Press the MEMORY button to proceed to the next step.

4. Use the [ ] or [] buttons to select the track you like as track 01

5. Press the MEMORY button to proceed to programming the next track.

6. Repeat steps 3-5 until you have programmed all the tracks you require in the playlist, up toa maximum of 100 tracks.

7. Press the ►II PLAY/PAUSE button on the micro system or remote to begin playback

in the programmed order.

8. To cancel the program sequence press the ■ STOP button on the micro system or remote twice.

Repeat playback (USB)

Follow the below ins tructions to repeat MP3 tracks on a USB flash drive.

1. During playback press the REPEAT button on the remote control to repeat the current track.

2. Press the REPEAT button again to repeat all tracks in the current folder.

3. Press the REPEAT button again to repeat all tracks on the flash drive.

4. To cancel the repeat function press the REPEAT button once more.

Numeric buttons

During playback a specific track number can be played by pressing the relative digit on the number button s.

Random playback (USB)

Follow the below instructions to playback all tracks on a USB flash drive in a random order.

During playback press the RANDOM button on the remote control to begin random playback.

Press the RANDOM button again to cancel random playback.

Volume function

• Press the VOLUME+ button on the micro system or remote control to increase the volume output.

• Press the VOLUME - button on the micro system or remote control to decrease the volume output.

Mute function

Activating the mute function disables audio output from the speakers. The CD, Radio etc will remain playing while mute is

activated.

Press the MUTE button on the remote control to silence audio playback.

Press again to resume audio output once more.

Bass / Treble adjustment

Use tone adjustments to tailor the sound output to your taste.

Press the TREBLE button on the remote control.

The first Adjustment is TREBLE. Use the VOLUME+/- buttons to adjust the level.

Press the TREBLE button again to edit the BASS level using the VOLUME+/- buttons to adjust the level.

X-Bass function

Enabling the X-Bass function adds more emphasis to the bass output

Press the X-BASS button on the remote control to enable the function.

Press the X-BASS button once more to disable the function.

EQ function

Enabling the EO function applies various equalizer presets to the sound output to better match the style of audio you are

listening to.

Press the EO button on the remote control repeatedly to cycle through the EO sound effects. Select from FLAT, ROCK,

CLASSIC, POP, VOCAL & JAZZ.

Sleep timer

Enabling the sleep timer will shut down the micro system into standby mode when the preset time expires.

Press the SLEEP button on the remote control repeatedly to cycle between 90-10 minutes sleep timer. The next press after 10

minutes will turn the sleep timer off.

Standby backlight

When the unit is standby mode the backlight will dim after 10 seconds. Press the LIGHT button on the remote control to

illuminate the backlight for 10 seconds.

Stereo/ Mono mode

Sometimes Stereo radio stations can suffer from interference (statie & crackles) to reduce this problem you can enable

MONO mode.

Press the MONO/ST button on the remote control to switch between STEREO & MONO modes.

FM display modes

Every time you press the INFO button on the remote control, the display will cycle through the following display modes.

Radio text: Broadcasters can include a scrolling text that displays information about the current program if radio text is not

available then the display will show NO TEXT

Program type: This describes the Style or genre of music that is being broadcast

e.g. Rock or Classical

Program name: Displays the name of the current station.

Audio mode : Displays the current FM mode of STEREO or MONO.

Time & date: The time & date is set automatically from the DAB or FM broadcast.

DAB+ Modus

Every time you press the INFO button on the remote control, the display will cycle through the following display modes.

DLS (scrolling text) – Signal Strength – Programme Type – Ensemble Name

– Channel Frequency – Signal Error – Mode – Time – Date

DLS (dynamic label segment) : Dynamic label segment is a scrolling message that the broadcaster may include with their

transmissions. This message usually includes information, such as program detail etc.

Signal strength: This option will display a bar indicating the signa[ strength.

Program type: This describes the Style or genre of music that is being broadcast

e.g. Rock or Classical

Ensemble/Multiplex (group name): A multiplex/ensemble is a collection of radio stations that are bundled and transmitted

on one frequency. There are national and local multiplexes. Local ones contain stations that are specific to that area e.g.

MXR West

Unlike FM radio, DAB groups several radio stations together & transmits on one frequency.

Channel frequency: Displays the current DAB multiplex in use.

Mode : Displays the current mode.

Time & date: The time & date is set automatically from the DAB or FM broadcast

There may be times when you need to reset the unit back to its original factory setting .

The factory reset function can ONLY be activated from DAB or FM mode .

Press the MENU button on the remote or press and hold the MENU/INFO button on the micro system.

When the FULL SCAN option appears (DAB mode) or SCAN SETTING (FM mode) press either < TUNE or TUNE > buttons on the

remote or [ ] or [ ] buttons on the micro system and locate SYSTEM, press the ENTER button on the remote or UNPAIR/

ENTER on the micro system.

Use the < TUNE or TUNE > buttons on the remote or [ ] or [ ] buttons on the micro

system to find FACTORY RESET and press the ENTER button on the remote or UNPAIR/ENTER on the micro system.

Use the < TUNE or TUNE > buttons on the remote or [ ] or [ ] buttons on the micro

system to select YES and press the ENTER button on the remote or UNPAIR/E NTER on the micro system.

zorgvuldig te lezen, aangezien wij graag willen dat u onze producten snel en volledig gebruikt.

Lees deze handleiding eerst door alvorens het product te gebruiken. Volg de instructies op anders zou de garantie wel eens

kunnen vervallen. Neem ook altijd alle veiligheidsmaatregelen om brand en/of een elektrische schok te voorkomen. Tevens

is het ook raadzaam om reparaties / modificaties e.d. over te laten aan gekwalificeerd personeel om een elektrische schok te

voorkomen. Bewaar deze handleiding ook voor toekomstig gebruik.

• Bewaar de verpakking zodat u indien het apparaat defect is,

dit in de originele verpakking kunt opsturen om

beschadigingen te voorkomen.

• Voordat het apparaat in werking wordt gesteld, altijd eerst

een deskundige raadplegen. Bij het voor de eerste keer

inschakelen kan een bepaalde reuk optreden. Dit is normaal

en verdwijnt na een poos.

• In het apparaat bevinden zich onder spanning staande

onderdelen; open daarom NOOIT dit apparaat.

• Plaats geen metalen objecten en mors geen vloeistof in het

effect. Dit kan leiden tot elektrische schokken of defecten.

• Toestel niet opstellen in de buurt van warmtebronnen zoals

radiatoren etc. en niet op een vibrerende onder- grond

plaatsen. Dek ventilatieopeningen nooit af.

• Het apparaat is niet geschikt voor continu gebruik.

• Wees voorzichtig met het netsnoer en beschadig deze niet.

Als het snoer kapot of beschadigd is, kan dit leiden tot

elektrische schokken of defecten.

• Als u de stekker uit het stopcontact neemt, trek dan niet aan

het snoer, maar aan de stekker.

• Om brand of elektrische schok te voorkomen, dient u dit

apparaat niet bloot te stellen aan regen of vocht.

• Verwijder of plaats een stekker nooit met natte handen

resp. uit en in het stopcontact.

• Indien zowel de stekker en/of netsnoer als snoeringang in

het apparaat beschadigd zijn dient dit door een vakman

hersteld te worden.

• Indien het apparaat zo beschadigd is dat inwendige

(onder)delen zichtbaar zijn mag de stekker NOOIT in het

stopcontact worden geplaatst en het apparaat NOOIT

worden ingeschakeld. Neem in dit geval contact op met de

dealer.

• Sluit het apparaat nooit op een dimmer aan.

• Reparatie aan het apparaat dient te geschieden door een

vakman of een deskundige.

• Sluit het apparaat alleen aan op een 220-240VAC / 50Hz

(geaard) stopcontact, verbonden met een 10-16A

meterkastgroep.

• Bij onweer altijd de stekker uit het stopcontact halen, zo ook

wanneer het apparaat voor een langere tijd niet gebruikt

wordt. Stelregel: Bij geen gebruik stekker verwijderen.

• Als u het apparaat lang niet gebruikt heeft en het weer wil

gebruiken kan er condens ontstaan; laat het apparaat eerst

op kamertemperatuur komen alvorens het weer in

werking te stellen.

• Apparaat nooit in vochtige ruimten en buiten gebruiken.

• Om ongevallen in bedrijven te voorkomen moet rekening

worden gehouden met de daarvoor geldende richtlijnen

en moeten de aanwijzingen/waarschuwingen worden

gevolgd.

• Het apparaat buiten bereik van kinderen houden.

Bovendien mag het apparaat nooit onbeheerd gelaten

worden.

• Gebruik geen schoonmaakspray om de schakelaars te

reinigen. Restanten van deze spray zorgen ervoor dat

smeer en stof ophopen. Raadpleeg bij storing te allen

tijde een deskundige.

• Gebruik geen overmatige kracht bij het bedienen van het

apparaat.

• Dit apparaat kan magnetisch veld veroorzaken. Houd dit

apparaat ten minste 60 cm afstand van de computer of tv.

• Indien dit apparaat beschikt over een loodaccu, dient deze

tenminste elke 3 maanden opgeladen te worden indien

deze voor een langere periode niet wordt gebruikt anders

bestaat de kans dat de accu permanent beschadigd.

• Bij een ongeval met dit product altijd eerst een des-

kundige raadplegen alvorens opnieuw te gebruiken.

• Tracht het apparaat niet schoon te maken met chemische

oplossingen. Dit kan de lak beschadigen. Gebruik een

droge doek om schoon te maken.

• Blijf uit de buurt van elektronische apparatuur die

bromstoringen zouden kunnen veroorzaken.

• Bij reparatie dienen altijd originele onderdelen te worden

gebruikt om onherstelbare beschadigingen en/of

ontoelaatbare straling te voorkomen.

• Schakel eerst het toestel uit voordat u het netsnoer

verwijdert. Verwijder netsnoer en aansluitsnoeren

voordat u dit product gaat verplaatsen.

• Zorg ervoor dat het netsnoer niet beschadigd/defect kan

raken wanneer mensen erover heen lopen. Het netsnoer

vóór ieder gebruik controleren op breuken/defecten!

• In Nederland/België is de netspanning 220-240Vac/50Hz.

Indien u reist (en u neemt het apparaat mee) informeer

dan naar de netspanning in het land waar u verblijft.

Deze markering wordt weergegeven om u erop attent te maken dat een levensgevaarlijke spanning in het product

aanwezig is en dat bij aanraking van deze delen een elektrische schok wordt verkregen.

Deze instructiemarkering wordt weergegeven om u erop te wijzen dat de instructie zeer belangrijk is om te lezen

en/of op te volgen.

OPMERKING: Om zeker te zijn van een correcte werking, dient u dit apparaat in een ruimte te gebruiken waar de temperatuur

tussen de 5°C/41°F en 35°C/95°F ligt.

Raadpleeg eventueel www.wecycle.nl en/of www.vrom.nl v.w.b. het afdanken van elektronische apparaten in het kader van de

LET OP! Onmiddellijk na ontvangst, zorgvuldig uitpakken van de doos, controleer de inhoud om ervoor te zorgen dat alle

onderdelen aanwezig zijn en zijn in goede staat zijn ontvangen. Bij transportschade of ontbreken van onderdelen

onmiddellijk de verkopende partij inlichten. Bewaar de verpakking en het verpakkingsmateriaal. Indien het product moet

worden teruggestuurd, is het belangrijk dat het product in originele verpakking wordt geretourneerd.

Als het apparaat is blootgesteld aan drastische temperatuurverschillen (bv. na het transport), schakel het apparaat niet

onmiddellijk in. De ontstane condensatie kan het apparaat beschadigen. Zorg ervoor dat het apparaat op kamertemperatuur

komt en steek vervolgens de voeding stekker in het stopcontact/wandcontactdoos.

Op het label aan de achterzijde van het product staat aangegeven op welke netspanning deze moet worden aangesloten.

Wanneer u het toestel voor het eerst aansluit op het stopcontact, zal het display de "00:00:00" tonen. Als u op uw locatie een

DAB+ signaal kunt ontvangen, zal het apparaat zich synchroniseren met de huidige lokale tijd. Na ongeveer een minuut

schakelt het over naar de STAND-BY modus.

• Druk op ON/STANDBY op het apparaat of op de afstandsbediening om het apparaat in de ON-modus te zetten.

• Druk op ON/STANDBY op het apparaat of op de afstandsbediening om het apparaat weer in STANDBY modus te

zetten.

• Trek de stekker uit het stopcontact als u het apparaat volledig wilt uitschakelen.

Opmerking:

Als de digitale radio gedurende 20 minuten niet wordt gebruikt, zal deze automatisch in de stand-by modus gaan.

U kunt de tijd handmatig instellen als het radiosignaal niet sterk genoeg is om automatisch in te stellen.

Druk op de toets MENU op de afstandsbediening of houd de toets MENU/INFO op het microsysteem ingedrukt.

Wanneer de optie FULL SCAN (DAB-modus) of SCAN SETTING (FM-modus) verschijnt, drukt u op de knoppen < TUNE of T UNE >

op de afstandsbediening of op de knoppen [ ] of [ ] op het microsysteem en zoekt u SYSTEM, drukt u op de knop ENTER op

de afstandsbediening of op UNPAIR/ ENTER op het microsysteem.

Gebruik de knoppen < TUNE of TUNE > op de afstandsbediening of de knoppen [ ] of [ ] op het microsysteem om TIME te

zoeken en druk op de knop ENTER op de afstandsbediening of UNPAIR/ENTER op het microsysteem.

In dit menu zijn er meerdere opties - SET TIME/DATE, AUTO UPDATE, SET 12/24 HOUR & SET DATE FORMAT Kies er een en

druk op de ENTER toets op de afstandsbediening of UNPAIR/ENTER op het microsysteem.

TIJD INSTELLEN

Gebruik de < TUNE/ TUNE > knoppen op de afstandsbediening of de [ ] of [ ] knoppen op het microsysteem om de cijfers

in te stellen en de ENTER toets op de afstandsbediening of UNPAIR/ENTER op het microsysteem om naar de volgende

instelling te gaan.

Gebruik dezelfde toetsen als bij stap 1 (hierboven) om de tijd in te stellen en vervolgens de datum.

Druk op de ENTER toets van de afstandsbediening of op UNPAIR/ENTER van het microsysteem wanneer u klaar bent om de

instellingen op te slaan.

AUTO UPDATE

Deze instelling bepaalt de automatische klokinstelling.

Gebruik de knoppen < TUNE/ TUNE > op de afstandsbediening of [ ] of [ ] op het microsysteem om te kiezen uit- ANY

(stelt de klok in vanuit elke mogelijke modus), DAB (stelt de klok alleen in vanuit de DAB-modus), FM (stelt de klok alleen in

vanuit de FM-modus), NONE (stelt de klok niet automatisch in en gebruikt de handmatige tijd zoals hierboven beschreven)

Druk op de ENTER toets op de afstandsbediening of op UNPAIR/ENTER op het microsysteem om de instelling op te slaan .

SET 12/24 UUR

Kies hoe de klok wordt weergegeven.

Gebruik de < TUNE/ TUNE > knoppen op de afstandsbediening of de [ ] of [ ] knoppen op het microsysteem om te kiezen

tussen 12 of 24 uur.

Druk op de ENTER toets op de afstandsbediening of op UNPAIR/ENTER op het microsysteem om de instelling op te slaan .

DATUMFORMAAT INSTELLEN

Kies hoe de datum wordt weergegeven.

Gebruik de knoppen < TUNE/ TUNE > op de afstandsbediening of [ ] of [ ] op het microsysteem om te kiezen uit- DD-MM-

YYYY (dag, maand & jaar), MM-DD-YYYY (maand, dag & jaar)

Druk op de ENTER toets op de afstandsbediening of UNPAIR/ENTER op het microsysteem om de instelling op te slaan .

Volg de onderstaande instructies om te schakelen tussen CD, DAB, FM, AUX IN, USB & BT-invoermodi.

Druk herhaaldelijk op de toets SOURCE op het microsysteem om te schakelen tussen CD, FM, AUDIO-IN & BT-invoermodi.

Druk op de relevante knop op de afstandsbediening om de gewenste ingangsmodus te selecteren. Druk op de FM/DAB-toets

om over te schakelen naar de DAB-modus. Druk nogmaals om over te schakelen naar de FM-modus.

Voordat u overschakelt op de DAB-invoermodus moet de antenne volledig worden uitgeschoven zodat de zenders tijdens de

eerste scan kunnen worden gevonden.

Wanneer de DAB-modus voor de eerste keer wordt geactiveerd, zal het toestel een scan uitvoeren naar beschikbare zenders.

U ziet SCANNING... 0 op het display verschijnen totdat er zenders gevonden zijn en daarna zal de O veranderen in het aantal

gevonden zenders.

Bij het vinden van de eerste alfanumerieke zender begint de weergave terwijl de andere zenders worden opgeslagen.

Als u tijdens het scannen geen zenders hebt gevonden, moet u het apparaat verplaatsen, de antenne volledig uitschuiven en

het hoofdstuk over het scannen van DAB-zenders lezen.

Luisteren naar de opgeslagen DAB-zenders

Om de opgeslagen DAB-zenders te beluisteren drukt u op de toetsen [ ] of [ ] op het microsysteem of op de toetsen <

TUNE of TUNE > op de afstandsbediening.

Druk op de toets UNPAIR/ENTER op het microsysteem of op ENTER op de afstandsbediening om over te schakelen naar de

geselecteerde zender.

Een DAB-zenderscan uitvoeren

Als u een nieuwe zender wilt scannen, bijvoorbeeld als u het apparaat verplaatst of als er een nieuwe zender online komt,

volg dan de onderstaande stappen.

De snelle scan doorzoekt alle DAB-kanalen.

Om de snelle scan te activeren drukt u op de toets SCAN op het microsysteem of de afstandsbediening

Om de volledige scan te activeren drukt u op de toets MENU op de afstandsbediening of houdt u de toets MENU/INFO op het

microsysteem ingedrukt.

Wanneer de optie FULL SCAN verschijnt, drukt u op de toets ENTER op de afstandsbediening of op UNPAIR/ENTER op het

microsysteem om een volledige scan uit te voeren.

Handmatig afstemmen op DAB

Naast de automatische afstemfunctie kunt u de ontvanger ook handmatig afstemmen. Dit kan helpen bij het afstemmen van

uw antenne of bij het toevoegen van zenders die u tijdens het automatisch afstemmen hebt gemist.

Druk op de toets MENU op de afstandsbediening of houd de toets MENU/INFO op het microsysteem ingedrukt.

Wanneer de optie FULL SCAN verschijnt, drukt u op de toetsen < TUNE of TUNE > op de afstandsbediening of op de toetsen

[ ] of [ ] op het microsysteem en zoekt u MANUAL TUNE, drukt u op de toets ENTER op de afstandsbediening of op

UNPAIR/ENTER op het microsysteem.

Gebruik de knoppen < TUNE of TUNE > op de afstandsbediening of de knoppen [ ] of [ ] op het microsysteem om door de

DAB-multiplexen te bladeren, die genummerd zijn 174.928 - 239.200MHz.

Druk nu op ENTER op de afstandsbediening of UNPAIR/E NTER op het microsysteem om het geselecteerde

ensemble/multiplex binnen te gaan, er zal een staafdiagram worden getoond dat de signaalsterkte aangeeft.

Om extra zenders in de zenderlijst op te slaan of terug te keren naar het standaardscherm, drukt u op de ENTER toets op de

afstandsbediening of UNPAIR/ENTER op het microsysteem.

DAB-zenders snoeien

Wanneer de radio op verschillende plaatsen een scan heeft uitgevoerd, kan het zijn dat er opgeslagen zenders zijn die u niet

langer kunt ontvangen. Deze functie verwijdert ze automatisch uit de lijst met opgeslagen zenders

Druk op de toets MENU op de afstandsbediening of houd de toets MENU/INFO op het microsysteem ingedrukt.

Wanneer de optie FULL SCAN verschijnt drukt u op de knoppen < TUNE of TUNE > op de afstandsbediening of [ ] of [ ] op

het microsysteem en zoekt u PRUNE, drukt u op de knop ENTER op de afstandsbediening of UNPAIR/ENTER op het

microsysteem.

Gebruik de knoppen < TUNE of TUNE > op de afstandsbediening of de knoppen [ ] of [ ] op het microsysteem om YES te

selecteren en druk op de ENTER-knop op de afstandsbediening of UNPAIR /ENTER op het microsysteem.

DRC (regeling dynamisch bereik)

Deze functie zorgt ervoor dat de radio het dynamisch bereik van het audiosignaal verkleint. Het doel hiervan is om het

dynamisch bereik van het audiosignaal aan te passen aan het luisteren in een rumoerige omgeving

Druk op de toets MENU op de afstandsbediening of houd de toets MENU/INFO op het microsysteem ingedrukt.

Wanneer de FULL SCAN optie verschijnt druk dan op de < TUNE of TUNE > knoppen op de afstandsbediening of [ ] of [ ]

knoppen op het microsysteem en zoek DRC, druk op de ENTER knop op de afstandsbediening of UNPAIR/ENTER op het

microsysteem.

Gebruik de knoppen < TUNE of TUNE > op de afstandsbediening of de knoppen [ ] of [ ] op het microsysteem om te

kiezen tussen DRC OFF, DRC LOW en DRC HIGH.

Druk op de ENTER toets op de afstandsbediening of UNPAIR/ENTER op het microsysteem om de instelling op te slaan.

Opmerking: Dit is bij veel DAB-zenders niet beschikbaar.
