DEAR CUSTOMER,
The high-performing Airwasher AH902 with patented humidification and hygiene
technology ensures efficient humidification. The integrated UVC lamp stops viruses
and bacteria in their tracks.
Additionally, the appliance filters viruses, particles and fine dust out of your indoor
air with a coarse dust filter and a HEPA filter. It creates natural feel-good zones in
your home, especially if you suffer from allergies or are susceptible to breathing
difficulties.

It is important that you read, fully understand, and observe the following safe-
ty precautions and warnings. Read these instructions periodically. Careless or
improper use of your Venta may cause serious or even fatal injury. Keep this user
manual with your appliance. Be sure anyone using your Venta understands the
information contained in this manual.
Children should not be allowed to operate the appliance.
Always switch the motor off and unplug the power cord from the AC outlet before
refilling it with water or Venta Cleaner, or before moving, or handling the unit.


Do not attempt any repair work. Maintenance or servicing the appliance, other

Do not insert any objects into the air intake of the unit. It may damage the fan
blades or cause injuries. After the motor is switched off, the fan continues to
rotate for a short period of time.
Do not use or store this product where it can fall or be pulled into a bath tub, sink,
water, or other liquid. Do not reach for a unit that has fallen into water or other
liquid. Do not immerse in water or other liquid, even when the unit is unplugged
at that time. Moisture can cause an electric shock hazard when the unit is again
plugged into the AC outlet. Wipe moisture off the unit with a dry cloth. Do not han-
dle the power cord or the unit with wet hands.
Never overfill the appliance.
Never transport or overbalance the appliance with a filled water basin.
Use only genuine Venta fragrances.
Do not add fragrance oil to the water. This may impair the function of the Hygiene Disc.
Only use original Venta additives. Venta Air Technologies Inc. accepts no liability
for damage which may be caused by the use of other additives.

SAFETY PRECAUTIONS
FOR INSTALLATION / WARNING
Plug the power cord into a wall socket with the power specifications of the product
or higher and use the socket for this appliance only. In addition, do not use an
extension cord.
Sharing a wall socket with other appliances using a multi outlet power strip or
extending the power cord may result in electric shock or fire.
Do not use an electric transformer. It may result in electric shock or fire.
If the voltage/frequency/rated current condition is different, it may cause electric
shock or fire.
FOR INSTALLATION / WARNING


If the appliance is too near wall side, the wall paper may get damaged.
When installing the product, make sure that no heavy objects are on the power cord.

FOR POWER CORD / WARNING
Unplug the product, and then remove foreign substances (dust, moisture, etc.)
of the power plug terminal or power plug connection part with a dry cloth on a
regular basis.
Otherwise, electric shock or fire may occur.
When the product, power plug or power cord is damaged, contact your nearest
service center.
Plug the power plug into the wall
socket firmly. Do not use a damaged power plug, damaged power cord or loose
wall socket.
Failure to do so may result in electric shock or fire.
When unplugging the product, do not pull the power cord. Grip the power plug, and
then pull the power plug.
Otherwise, electric shock or fire may occur.
Do not pull or excessively bend the power cord. Do not twist or tie the power cord.
Do not hook the power line over a metal object, place a heavy object on the power
cord, insert the power line between objects, or push the power cord into the space
behind the appliance.

If water has entered the power supply module, unplug the power cable and dry the prod-
uct completely before use.

CHECK BEFORE USE
Installation status
Ensure that the following installation requirements have been satisfied.
The product should be installed on an even, level floor.
There should be no objects blocking the air intake and outlet.
The installation site should be dry and there should be no inflammable substances
around it.
The product should be installed at least 2 in. (6 in. is recommended) from the wall.
Before using the product for the first time and when replacing the integrated
VENTAcel filter and Hygiene Disc, make sure to remove the plastic packaging of
the filter and the new Hygiene Disc.
Power cord and power outlet
be sure to use a dedicated 120 V electrical outlet. (When the power is applied, the
product enters the standby state.)
Unplug the power cord if it will not be used for a long period of time.

PUTTING INTO OPERATION
! Attention! Make sure the device is switched off and the power plug is discon-
nected before you start!
1Unpack the appliance, set it up and use the transport castors 14 to move it to
the place you want. To do this, lift slightly on the right-hand side. Remove battery
protection and protective foil from remote control 13.

6Auto OFF Appliance operates at preset fan stage 1 – 5.
ON The appliance automatically regulates the fan stage
depending on the air quality and humidity in the room.
7Sleep mode OFF / ON
The appliance reduces the fan stage to 1 and dims the dis-
play. You can change the air flow rate manually in sleep mode
at any time. The air quality is not displayed.
8Child lock OFF / ON
Hold for 3 sec. to activate/deactivate the key lock.
9 Tap the button to open the Settings menu.

WIFI CONFIGURATION
To access WiFi configuration, first tap button 9, then the SETUP button.
Select “Select network, then your network in the dropdown list. The “Security type”
is automatically set as soon as you select the network. In the “PSK” box, please
enter your WLAN password/key (ASCII entry mode) and confirm with ENTER. If
your password contains special characters or umlauts which are not shown on
the keypad, you can generate your full password as a HEX code on our website:
www.venta-air.com. Now enter your generated HEX code into the “PSK” box (HEX
entry mode) and confirm with ENTER. Under “Access”, select the internet access
type you require.
full access: access to all the comfort features of the app.
local access: local access to use the app.
Tap CONNECT to create the WiFi connection.
WiFi symbol green: WiFi connection established (local access).
WiFi symbol blue: WiFi connection established (full access).
WiFi symbol red: No WiFi connection. Check your network and WLAN password.

When changing the HEPA filter, use suitable protective equip-
ment (e.g. mask and gloves). Place the used HEPA filter in a bag
and dispose of it in household waste.


Tap button on the display to access the maintenance menu.
Then tap RESET next to CHANGE FILTER and hold for 3 seconds
until the time is reset.
iAfter one year, the maintenance button lights up in red
and indicates that this action is necessary. The filter
service life is approx. 1 year (of continuous 24-hour operation).
The lifetime of the filter depends on the hours of operation and
the air quality in the room.

HYGIENE DISC
Open evaporator compartment. Remove VentWave™ DISC stack
and unlock the drive wheel. Remove hygiene DISC and replace
it. Re-assemble the appliance and switch it on. Tap button
on the display to access the maintenance menu. Then tap
RESET next to CHANGE HYGIENE DISC and hold for 3 seconds
until the time is reset.
iAfter 3 months, the maintenance button lights up in red
and indicates that this action is necessary.
The service life of a hygiene DISC is approx. 3 months (at con-
tinuous 24-hour operation) and depends on the water hardness,
water quality, daily evaporation performance and number of
operating hours.
You can use the Venta ReNew recycling program to return
the hygiene DISC to us (see RECYCLING & DISPOSAL).
SERVICE Empty the residual water out of the water tank and water tray.

or rinse it off. Please note: The coarse dust filter must be com-
pletely dry before you install it. Re-assemble the device.

To ensure the full performance of the UVC lamp, you should
change the bulb every 3 years.
Note: 
You can carry out the maintenance steps CHANGE FILTER, CHANGE HYGIENE DISC,
SERVICE and CLEANING whenever necessary. When you are finished, simply tap the
relevant RESET button in the maintenance menu and hold for 3 seconds until the
time is reset. The next reminders for the actions performed will be indicated at the
normal intervals.
Any residues in the water tray and on the VentWave™ DISC stack (white, green-yellow
or brown deposits or discolorations) do NOT impair the function of the device.

cus tomer service department toll free at 1 (888) 333-8218 to obtain a Return Mer-
chandise Authorization (RMA) number and shipping label at the customer’s cost.
Carefully package the product in its original packaging. Venta Air Technologies, Inc. is
not responsible for units damaged in transit due to inadequate packaging.
TWO (2) YEAR LIMITED
WARRANTY
Call Venta Customer Service to troubleshoot any issues, before attempting to return
product to retailer. If you have any questions regarding this warranty please call
1-888-333-8218 or write to: Venta Air Technologies Inc., US Headquarters, 1111
North Plaza Drive Suite 715, Schaumburg, IL 60173. For product registration please
visit www.venta-air.com/en_us/service/product-registration/. Venta warrants that
for a period of two (2) years from the date of purchase, this product will be free from
defects in material and workmanship. Venta, at its option will repair or replace this
product or any component of the product found to be defective during the warranty
period. Replacement will be made with a new or remanufactured product or compo-
nent. If the product is no longer available, replacement may be made with a similar
product of equal or greater value. This is your exclusive warranty. This warranty is
valid for the original retail purchaser from the date of initial retail purchase and is
not transferable. Your warranty card must be completed and returned to activate
your warranty. Also, keep the original sales receipt – proof of purchase is required to
obtain warranty performance. This warranty does not cover normal wear of parts or
damage resulting from any of the following: Negligent use or misuse of the product,
use on improper voltage or current, use contrary to the operating instructions, disas-
sembly, repair, or alteration by anyone other than Venta. Further, the warranty does
not cover Acts of God, such as fire, flood, hurricanes, and tornadoes. Venta shall not
be liable for any incidental or consequential damages caused by the breach of any
express or implied warranty. Except to the extent prohibited by applicable law, any
implied warranty of merchantability or fitness for a particular purpose is limited in
duration to the duration of the above warranty. Some states, provinces, or jurisdic-
tions do not allow the exclusion or limitation of incidental or consequential damages
or limitations on how long an implied warranty lasts, so the above limitations or

phone or tablet.

L’Airwasher AH902 très performant favorise une humidification optimale de l’air, et
ce grâce à une technologie d’humidification de lair et d’hygiène brevetée. La lampe
UV-C intégrée empêche la formation et la prolifération des virus et des bactéries.
Muni également d’un filtre à grosses particules et d’un filtre HEPA, cet appareil
filtre les virus, les particules et les particules fines se trouvant dans l’air ambiant. Il
garantit des zones de bien-être dans votre intérieur, notamment pour les personnes
allergiques et celles qui présentent une sensibilité des voies respiratoires.
