DEAR CUSTOMER,

The high-performing AP902 Air Purifier comes with four filters – two coarse dust

filters and two HEPA filters. That ensures it delivers excellent results, filtering

viruses, particles and fine dust out of indoor air. It creates natural feel-good zones

in your home, especially if you suffer from allergies or are susceptible to breathing

difficulties.

∙It is important that you read, fully understand, and observe the following safety precau-

tions and warnings. Read these instructions periodically. Careless or improper use of

your Venta Purifier may cause serious or even fatal injury. Keep this User Manual with

your Purifier. Be sure anyone using your Purifier understands the information contained

in this manual.

∙Children should not be allowed to operate the Purifier.

∙Always switch the motor off and unplug the power cord from the AC outlet before mov-

ing, or handling the unit.

immerse in water or other liquid, even when the unit is unplugged at that time. Moisture

can cause an electric shock hazard when the unit is again plugged into the AC outlet.

Wipe moisture off the unit with a dry cloth. Do not handle the power cord or the unit with

wet hands.

∙Use only genuine Venta fragrances. Read and follow separate instructions and Warnings

for VENTAcel Filter, VENTAcarb Filter and Venta Fragrances. Please contact Venta Air

FOR INSTALLATION / WARNING

∙Plug the power cord into a wall socket with the power specifications of the product or

higher and use the socket for this appliance only. In addition, do not use an extension

cord.

➔Sharing a wall socket with other appliances using a multi outlet power strip or extending

the power cord may result in electric shock or fire.

➔Do not use an electric transformer. It may result in electric shock or fire.

➔If the voltage/frequency/rated current condition is different, it may cause electric shock

or fire.

ance in a humid, oily or dusty location, in a location exposed to direct sunlight and water

(rain drops). Do not install this appliance in a location where gas may leak.

FOR INSTALLATION / CAUTION

∙The appliance should be installed in a place where the power cord of the product can be

easily pulled out.

∙Install your appliance on a level and hard floor that can support its weight.

➔Failure to do so may result in abnormal vibrations, noise, or problems with the product.

∙There should be over 6 in. space around the appliance.

➔If space for air intake is not enough, purification capacity may decrease.

➔If the appliance is too near wall side, the wall paper may get damaged.

∙When installing the product, make sure that no heavy objects are on the power cord.

FOR POWER CORD / WARNING

∙Unplug the product, and then remove foreign substances (dust, moisture, etc.) of the

power plug terminal or power plug connection part with a dry cloth on a regular basis.

➔Otherwise, electric shock or fire may occur.

∙When the product, power plug or power cord is damaged, contact your nearest service

center.

∙Plug the power plug into the wall socket firmly. Do not use a damaged power plug, dam-

aged power cord or loose wall socket.

➔Failure to do so may result in electric shock or fire.

∙When unplugging the product, do not pull the power cord. Grip the power plug, and then

pull the power plug.

➔Otherwise, electric shock or fire may occur.

∙Do not pull or excessively bend the power cord. Do not twist or tie the power cord.

insert the power line between objects, or push the power cord into the space behind the

∙Do not put other foreign materials such as metal into the product.

∙If water has entered the power supply module, unplug the power cable and dry the prod-

uct completely before use.

CHECK BEFORE USE

Installation status

Ensure that the following installation requirements have been satisfied.

•The product should be installed on an even, level floor.

•There should be no objects blocking the air intake and outlet.

•The installation site should be dry and there should be no inflammable substances

around it.

•The product should be installed at least 2 in. (6 in. is recommended) from the wall.

•Before using the product for the first time and when replacing the integrated VEN-

TAcel filter, make sure to remove the plastic packaging of the filter.

OVERVIEW

PUTTING INTO OPERATION

! Attention! Ensure that the device is switched off during all actions and the

switching power supply is disconnected from the outlet!

1Unpack and set up the appliance. Remove battery protection and protective

foil from remote control 10.

3Remove HEPA filters 5+8 and open them.

4Re-insert opened HEPA filters 5+8 and coarse dust filters 4+7 and close filter

compartments 3+6.

5Adjust display 1 to the position you want (3 positions possible).

6Adjust cable connector to the length you want by winding/unwinding in cable

compartment 9. Note: Make sure the cable connector is firmly fitted into the

appliance!

6Auto OFF Appliance operates at preset fan stage 1 – 5.

ON The appliance automatically regulates the fan stages

1 – 5 depending on the air quality in the room (Boost is not

activated).

7Sleep mode OFF / ON The appliance reduces the fan stage to 1 and

dims the display. You can change the air flow rate manually

in sleep mode at any time. The air quality is not displayed.

8Child lock OFF / ON Hold for 3 sec. to activate/deactivate the key lock.

9Tap the . button to open the Settings menu.

WIFI CONFIGURATION

To access WiFi configuration, first tap button 9, then the SETUP button.

Select “Select network”, then your network in the dropdown list. The “Security type”

is automatically set as soon as you select the network. In the “PSK” box, please

enter your WLAN password/key (ASCII entry mode) and confirm with ENTER. If

your password contains special characters or umlauts which are not shown on

the keypad, you can generate your full password as a HEX code on our website:

www.venta-usa.com. Now enter your generated HEX code into the “PSK” box (HEX

entry mode) and confirm with ENTER. Under “Access”, select the internet access

type you require.

full access: access to all the comfort features of the app.

local access: local access to use the app.

Tap CONNECT to create the WiFi connection.

WiFi symbol green: WiFi connection established (local access).

WiFi symbol blue: WiFi connection established (full access).

WiFi symbol red: No WiFi connection. Check your network and WLAN password.

Reminder/Interval Actions

ACHANGE FILTER When changing the HEPA filter, use suitable protective

equipment (e.g. mask and gloves). Place used HEPA filters

in a bag and dispose of them in household waste.

Open filter compartment, remove coarse dust filter. Re-

move and replace HEPA filter. Re-assemble the appliance

and switch it on. Tap button on the display to access

the maintenance menu. Then tap the RESET button and

hold for 3 seconds until the time is reset.

i After one year, the maintenance button lights up in

red and indicates that this action is necessary.

The filter service life is approx. 1 year (of continuous 24-



Merchandise Authorization (RMA) number and shipping label at the customer’s cost.

Carefully package the product in its original packaging. Venta Air Technologies, Inc. is

not responsible for units damaged in transit due to inadequate packaging.

WARRANTY

product to retailer. If you have any questions regarding this warranty please call

Plaza Drive, Suite 715, Schaumburg, IL 60173. For product registration please visit

https://www.venta-air.com/en_us/service/product-registration/. Venta warrants that

for a period of two (2) years from the date of purchase, this product will be free from

defects in material and workmanship. Venta, at its option will repair or replace this

product or any component of the product found to be defective during the warranty

period. Replacement will be made with a new or re-manufactured product or

component. If the product is no longer available.

replacement may be made with a similar product of equal or greater value. This is

your exclusive warranty. This warranty is valid for the original retail purchaser from

the date of initial retail purchase and is not transferable. Your warranty card must be

completed and returned to activate your warranty. Also, keep the original sales receipt

not cover normal wear of parts or damage resulting from any of the following: Negli-

•iOS version 11.0 or higher or Android version 8.0 or higher is installed in your

phone or tablet.

If necessary, update the operating system of your phone or tablet.
