1) Prepare the surface in which the curtain guard is to be applied by removing dirt, dust, grease, oil, or any other
surface coating that may prevent adhesion. Avoid harsh chemical cleaning agents.
2) Take note of the curtain guard orientation in the figures below. The attachment tab of the curtain guard will be
closest to the wall.
3) To determine placement, position the curtain guard on the unit. On AZ45/65 Zonelines, the curtain guard should
be placed on the flat area above the discharge as opposed to the rounded surface directly above the discharge.
Center the part left to right above the PTAC air discharge. Record this location using painter’s tape or by lightly
marking the PTAC surface at both ends of the curtain guard with a pencil.
4) Remove the protective film covering the curtain guard.
5) Remove the backing tape from the adhesive strips on the curtain guard.
6) Aligning with one of your marks, carefully lay one end of the curtain guard down. Slowly lower the remaining
portion, making sure that the curtain guard meets the other mark.
7) Use fingers to apply pressure to the curtain guard directly above the adhesive strips to ensure good attachment to
the PTAC surface.
8) Remove painter’s tape or use an eraser to remove any pencil marks.
9) Position curtains in desired location behind the curtain guard.

1) Préparez la surface sur laquelle sera installé le protège-rideaux en enlevant la saleté, la poussière, la graisse,
l’huile et tout autre enduit de surface pouvant provoquer l’adhérence. Évitez les produits nettoyants puissants.
2) Veuillez noter l’orientation du protège-rideaux dans les illustrations ci-dessous. La languette de fixation du
protège-rideaux sera plus près du mur.
3) Pour déterminer l’emplacement, placez le protège-rideaux sur l’appareil. Pour les modèles Zonelines AZ45/65,
le protège-rideaux sera placé sur la surface plate au-dessus de l’évacuation opposée à la surface arrondie
directement au-dessus de l’évacuation. Centrez les parties gauche et droite sur le dessus de l’évacuation d’air du
climatiseur monobloc. Marquez cet emplacement en utilisant du ruban de peintre ou en marquant légèrement la
surface du climatiseur monobloc aux deux extrémités du protège-rideaux à l’aide d’un crayon.
4) Retirez la pellicule protectrice recouvrant le protège-rideaux.
5) Retirez le papier dorsal des bandes adhésives du protège-rideaux.
6) Alignez avec l’une des marques effectuées et déposez délicatement une extrémité du protège-rideaux. Abaissez
lentement l’autre partie en vous assurant que le protège-rideaux rencontre l’autre marque.
7) Appliquez une pression avec les doigts sur le protège-rideaux, directement au-dessus des bandes adhésives
pour assurer une bonne fixation à la surface du climatiseur monobloc.
8) Enlevez le ruban de peintre ou effacer les marques de crayon avec une efface.
9) Placez les rideaux à l’endroit désiré derrière le protège-rideaux.
