Safety instructions
• The device must only be used in accordance with its intended
purpose and within the scope of the specications. Modi-
cations or changes to the device are not permitted, this will
otherwise invalidate the approval and safety specications.
• In overvoltage category II (CAT II – 300 V), the voltage
between the test device and earth must not exceed 300 V.
• Do not expose the device to mechanical stress, extreme
temperatures or signicant vibration.
• If you are working with voltages higher than 25 V/AC /
60 V/DC, exercise extreme caution. Touching the electrical
conductors at such voltages poses a risk of life-threatening
electric shocks.
• If the device comes into contact with moisture or other con-
ductive-residue, work must not be carried out under voltage.
At and above voltages of 25 V/AC / 60 V/DC, the presence of
moisture creates the risk of life-threatening electric shocks.
Clean and dry the device before use. When using the device
outdoors, make sure that the weather conditions are approp-
riate and/or that suitable protection measures are taken.
• Before every measurement make sure that the area to be
checked (e.g. line) and the tester are in perfect operating
condition. Test the device by connecting it to known voltage
sources (e.g. a 230 V socket in the case of AC testing). Stop
using the device if one or a number of its functions fails.
• Please ensure compliance with the safety regulations set out
by local and national authorities with regard to the correct
and proper use of the device.
Reliable and fast connection testing for nding faulty wiring
in sockets. The status of the wiring can be read off with the
aid of the indicator lamps, LC display and the code key. The PE
conductor error indicator with LC display additionally signals
fault voltages. The 30 mA FI/RCD quick test is used to check
the FI/RCD tripping function.
Function / Application
