1 Sicherheitsbezogene Informationen
– Vor Gebrauch des Produkts die dazugehörige ausführliche
Gebrauchsanweisung (verfügbar unter: www.draeger.com/ifu) aufmerksam
lesen. Dieses Dokument ersetzt nicht die ausführliche
Gebrauchsanweisung.
– Ausführliche Gebrauchsanweisung genau beachten. Der Anwender muss
die Anweisungen vollständig verstehen und den Anweisungen genau Folge
leisten. Das Produkt darf nur entsprechend dem Verwendungszweck
verwendet werden.

3.2 Funktionsbeschreibung
Vor dem Starten eines mit dem Dräger Interlock® 75001) ausgestatteten
Fahrzeuges muss der Fahrer eine Atemprobe abgeben. Das Gerät misst die
Atemalkoholkonzentration und kann (optional) das Testresultat, den Messwert,
die Motorstarts sowie Hinweise auf Manipulationen und Verstöße im
Datenspeicher aufzeichnen. Das Fahrzeug kann nur gestartet werden, wenn
die gemessene Atemalkoholkonzentration unterhalb des eingestellten
Grenzwertes liegt. Das Gerät fordert (optional) auch zu Wiederholungstests
während der Fahrt auf.
HINWEIS
Das Gerät ist keine Sicherheitseinrichtung und ersetzt keine Wegfahrsperre
gegen Diebstahl.
3.3 Verwendungszweck
Das Interlock® 7500 ist ein Atemalkohol-Messgerät mit Wegfahrsperre.
4 Gebrauch
4.1 Warnhinweise
WARNUNG
Gefahr!
Veränderungen oder Zusätze an dem Gerät können zu Gefahren führen.
Durch solche Veränderungen oder Zusätze wird die in dieser
Gebrauchsanweisung enthaltene Einbaubescheinigung ungültig.
► Keine Veränderungen oder Zusätze am Gerät vornehmen.
WARNUNG
Gefahr der Verfälschung von Messergebnissen!
Alkohol- und Lösungsmitteldämpfe können Messergebnisse verfälschen.
► Keine Alkohol- und Lösungsmitteldämpfe in der Umgebungsluft.
Keine Lagerung in Umgebungsluft mit Alkohol- und Lösungsmitteldämpfen.
VORSICHT
Verbrennungsgefahr!
Bei Umgebungstemperaturen >+70 °C kann die Oberfläche des Handteils sehr
heiß werden.
► Das Handteil bei Umgebungstemperaturen >+70 °C nicht anfassen.
VORSICHT
Gefahr!
Die Sicherheit kann beeinträchtigt und gesetzliche Bestimmungen können
missachtet werden.
► Fahrzeug vor der Durchführung des Wiederholungstests außerhalb des
Verkehrs an einem sicheren Ort parken.
HINWEIS
Verunreinigte Mundstücke können Messergebnisse verfälschen.
► Für jede Testperson ein neues Mundstück einsetzen.
Mundstück spätestens alle 90 Tage aus hygienischen Gründen ersetzen.
HINWEIS
Ist die Wiederstartperiode abgelaufen, muss vor erneutem Starten des
Fahrzeugs wieder ein Atemalkoholtest durchgeführt werden.
HINWEIS
Zur Abgabe des Wiederholungstests stehen (je nach Geräteeinstellung)
mehrere Minuten zur Verfügung.
4.2 Fahrzeug starten und Atemtest durchführen
1. Mundstück in die entsprechende Öffnung auf der Rückseite des Handteils
stecken.
Ohne Mundstück kann kein Atemtest abgegeben werden.
2. Zündung des Fahrzeugs einschalten.
Das Interlock wacht auf. Auf dem Handteil ist zu lesen: Bereit für Test –
bitte pusten, sobald das Interlock zur Durchführung des Atemtests bereit
ist.
3. Tief einatmen und gleichmäßig in das Mundstück pusten, solange ein
kontinuierlicher Piepton ertönt. Sobald dieses Tonsignal verstummt und ein
Doppelklick hörbar ist, pusten beenden.
Das Interlock startet nun mit der Analyse der Atemprobe.

| Entsorgung
Nach bestandenem Atemtest wird der Motorstart erlaubt. Auf dem Handteil
ist zu lesen: Test OK gefolgt von: Freistartzeit.
Der Motor kann nun gestartet werden.
4. Wird jetzt das Fahrzeug gestartet, endet der Countdown der Freistartzeit
und auf dem Handteil ist zu lesen: Gute Fahrt!
Innerhalb der Freistartzeit kann der Motor ohne erneuten Atemtest wieder
gestartet werden. Dann wechselt das Interlock vom Modus Freistartzeit wieder
in den Modus Gute Fahrt.
Erfolgt kein erneuter Motorstart, schaltet sich das Interlock nach Ablauf der
Freistartzeit selbstständig ab.
Ein erneuter Motorstart ist nach Ablauf der Freistartzeit erst wieder nach
bestandenem Atemtest möglich.
5 Entsorgung
Produkt gemäß den geltenden Vorschriften entsorgen.
Dieses Produkt darf nicht als Siedlungsabfall entsorgt werden. Es ist
daher mit dem nebenstehenden Symbol gekennzeichnet.
Dräger nimmt dieses Produkt kostenlos zurück. Informationen dazu
geben die nationalen Vertriebsorganisationen und Dräger.

3.2 Feature description
Before starting a vehicle equipped with the Dräger Interlock® 75001) the driver
must provide a breath sample. The device measures the breath alcohol
concentration and can (optionally) record the test result, measured value,
engine starts, as well as notes about manipulations and violations in the data
memory. The vehicle can only be started when the measured breath alcohol
concentration lies below a preset limit value. The device will also ask (optional)
for retests while driving.
NOTICE
The device is not a security device for automobiles and is not a substitute for a
vehicle immobilizer for theft protection.
3.3 Intended use
The Interlock® 7500 is a breath alcohol measuring device with vehicle
immobilizer.
4 Usage
4.1 Warning notices
WARNING
Danger!
Alterations and additions to the device may cause danger.
Such alterations and additions invalidate the certificate of installation contained
in this instructions for use booklet.
► There may be no alterations or additions made to the device.
WARNING
Risk of falsifying the test results!
Alcohol and solvent vapours can falsify test results.
► No alcohol and solvent vapours in the ambient air.
Do not store in ambient air containing alcohol and solvent vapours.
CAUTION
Risk of burning!
At ambient temperatures >+70 °C, the surface of the handset may become very
hot.
► Do not touch the handset at ambient temperatures >+70 °C.
CAUTION
Danger!
Safety may be compromised and legal requirements may not be met.
► Before carrying out the retest, park the vehicle in a safe location away from
traffic.
NOTICE
Contaminated mouthpieces may falsify test results.
► Use a new mouthpiece for each person being tested
Replace the mouthpiece every 90 days for hygienic reasons.
NOTICE
If the restart period runs out, a new breath alcohol test must be carried out
before the vehicle can be started again.
NOTICE
There are (depending on instrument settings) several minutes available to
deliver the retest.
4.2 Starting the vehicle and carrying out a breath
test
1. Insert the mouthpiece into the corresponding opening on the reverse side of
the handset.
A test cannot be carried out without the mouthpiece.
2. Switch on the ignition.
The Interlock wakes up. The following appears on the handset: Ready for
testing – please blow once the Interlock is ready to carry out the breath
test.
3. Take a deep breath and blow evenly into the mouthpiece for as long as the
continuous beep sounds. As soon as this beep stops and a double-click is
heard, stop blowing.
The Interlock will now start the analysis of the breath sample.

After a successful test, it will be possible to start the vehicle. The following
appears on the handset: Test OK followed by: Free start time.
The engine can now be switched on.
4. If the vehicle is now started, the free start time countdown will end and the
following appears on the handset: Safe journey!
The engine may be started again without taking another breath test within the
free start time. The Interlock then changes back from Free start mode to Safe
journey mode.
If the engine is not switched on again, the Interlock switches off automatically
once the free start time has expired.
The engine can be switched on again after expiry of the free start time once the
breath test has been successful.
5 Disposal
Dispose of the product in accordance with the applicable rules and regulations.
This product must not be disposed of as household waste. This is indi-
cated by the adjacent symbol.
You can return this product to Dräger free of charge. For information
please contact the national marketing organizations or Dräger.
