• For best results, use oil recommended for deep frying: vegetable oil, corn
oil, canola oil, etc. If using sunflower oil ensure the oil is changed every 5
uses. Oils which should NOT be used under any circumstances and may
cause overflowing/smoking/risk of fire are: ground nut oil, soya oil, olive
oil, lard or drippings.
• If you use solid vegetable oil, cut it into small pieces and melt it in a
separate pan. Pour the melted oil into the fryer oil tank. Never melt
solid fat on the heating element or in the frying basket. Never put solid
shortening directly into the deep fryer pot or basket, as this will lead to
deterioration of the fryer.
Filling the oil tank
• Fill the oil tank with oil until the MAX level. (Fig.10)
• Never exceed the maximum level indicated in the oil tank and never go

a non-abrasive sponge using warm water and dishwashing liquid.
• Clean the heating element with a sponge and soapy water. (Fig.7)
• Dry all components thoroughly.
• Once cleaning is complete, place the oil tank , control unit and heating
element back on the fryer housing. Put the filter, fryer basket and lid
back in place. (Fig. 8.)
Important:
• Do not immerse the control unit in water.
• Make sure that the control unit is correctly positioned otherwise the
fryer cannot function.
NOTE: Keep a certain distance (12cm) between the appliance and the
wall to avoid condensation. (Fig. 9)
