drape over the countertop or tabletop where it can be pulled on by
children or tripped over.
PARTS DESCRIPTION
See page 2-3.
BEFORE THE FIRST USE
Before using the appliance for the first time, remove and peel off all
promotional and packaging materials. Check that the cooking
plats is clean and free of dust.
Clean the crepe and pancake maker (See "Cleaning and
Maintenance") and place the unit on a flat, dry, and heat-resistant
surface.
It is recommended to heat the crepe and pancake maker for
about 10 minutes without any foodstuff on its surfaces. This helps to
eliminate any grease that may have adhered during
manufacturing and to eliminate the "new" appliance smell.
Ventilate the room during this period. When your crepe and
pancake maker is heated for the first time, it may emit slight smoke
or odor. This is normal with many heating appliances. This does not
affect the safety of your appliance.

OPERATION
Place the unit on a flat, dry, and heat-resistant surface.
Plug into the electrical outlet. The red power light will come on to
indicate that the appliance is switched on and that your crepe and
pancake maker is preheating.
When the green pilot light goes on, it means that the desired
temperature is reached. During use, this light will come on and off
regularly. This simply means that the thermostat is regulating the
appliance's temperature.
Caution: during operation, the baking plate heats up. Use caution to
avoid burns. Use oven mitts and heat-resistant wooden or plastic utensils!
To make crepes:
Place the “Crepe” plate onto the appliance and secure it onto the
heating element (for instructions on how to do this, go to “Assembly
and Removal of the Reversible plate”).
Turn the temperature knob to the desired heat setting (from Light to
Dark, according to desired crepe doneness).
The plate should reach the selected temperature in a few minutes
only, and the green “Ready” indicator will illuminate.
Brush the plate with oil or non-stick cooking spray or clarified butter.
Pour a small amount of batter (approx. ¼ cup) onto the center of the
cooking plate.
Quickly spread the batter in circulating movements using the batter
spreader, taking care not to press down too hard, until desired
diameter of the crepe is achieved.
Allow the crepe to cook until the top surface is no longer runny, and
the bottom is set, about 45-60 seconds, and the crepe can be
moved slightly on the cooking plate.
Slide the wooden spatula under the crepe and turn the crepe over
the cook the other side.
Cook the crepe until just golden. Do not overcook. Use the wooden
spatula to remove the crepe from the cooking plate and place it on
a plate.
Repeat with remaining batter. You may cover your crepes to keep
them warm.
8
www.KALORIK.com
CRM 43667 200605
At the end of cooking, switch the crepe maker off by turning the
power and temperature knob to the “0” position. Remove the plug
from the outlet.
Allow the appliance to cool before cleaning and storing.
Fold, roll, or wrap you crepes with sweet or savory toppings and enjoy!
To make pancakes:
Place the “Pancake” plate onto the appliance and secure it onto
the heating element (for instructions on how to do this, go to
“Assembly and Removal of the Reversible plate”).
Turn the temperature knob to the desired heat setting (from Light to
Dark, according to desired doneness).
The plate should reach the selected temperature in a few minutes
only, and the green “Ready” indicator will illuminate.
Brush the 4 pancake-shaped circles with oil, non-stick cooking spray
or clarified butter.
Pour a small amount of batter (approx. 2-3 tbsp) onto the center of
each circle.
Let the batter spread to the edge of each circle, use the batter
spreader or the back of a spoon to help spread to the edges if
necessary. Stay within the edges of the circle.
Allow the pancakes to cook until the top starts making bubbles and
wait until the bubbles pop and form holes that stay open on the
surface of the pancake.
Slide the wooden spatula under the pancakes flip the pancakes to
cook the other sides.
The second side will cook quicker than the first.
Cook the pancakes until just golden. Do not overcook but be sure
the pancakes are cooked through the center before serving. Use the
wooden spatula to remove the pancakes from the cooking plate
and place it on a plate.
Repeat with remaining batter.
At the end of cooking, switch the crepe maker off by turning the
power and temperature knob to the “0” position. Turn the power off
and remove the plug from the outlet.
Allow the appliance to cool before cleaning and storing.

CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE
Always clean the 3-in-1 Crepe and Pancake maker after each use
to prevent a buildup of baked-on foods. Keeping a clean
appliance is essential as food goes directly on this product.
Before cleaning, unplug the appliance and wait for it to cool down
completely.
Remove 3-in-1 plate according to the instructions referenced in the
“Assembly and Removal of the Reversible Plate” section of this
manual.
The reversible plate can be cleaned easily with warm soapy water
or can be placed in the dishwasher.
Always dry the plate thoroughly before placing back onto the unit.
Wipe the outside with a slightly moistened cloth.
Do not clean the inside or outside of the unit with any abrasive
scouring pads or steel wool as this will damage the finish.
If there is any hard-to-remove batter residue baked onto the
cooking plate, we would advise using vegetable oil to soften it,
waiting 5 minutes before removing with a paper towel.
NEVER clean or rinse the appliance under running water.
DO NOT IMMERSE THE 3-IN-1 CREPE, GRILL, AND PANCAKE MAKER IN
WATER OR ANY OTHER LIQUID.
Any other servicing should be performed by an authorized service
representative.

claro (“Light”) a oscuro (“Dark”).
No cocine demasiado.
