1 General
1.1 Symbols

1.2 Intended Use
The crutches are designed for persons with
limited walking ability and serve to increase their
ability to walk. The crutches can be used inside
and outside the house.
1.3 Product Labeling
This label in FIGURE 1.1 is affixed to the product.
1.4 Reuse
Product liability refers only to the first use of the
product listed in this manual. If a product is used
a second time, it need to be reviewed and
inspected by the authorized dealer. This review
shall exclude a possible improper use caused by
obvious or invisible damage.
1.5 Life
The expected life of the product listed in this
manual when used in accordance with the safety
instructions, maintenance intervals and care
instructions is two years. Beyond this period, the
product can be used only in a safe condition.
Maintenace should be done at least every six
months.

determine proper adjustment and usage. A physical/occupational therapist should
assist in the height adjustment for maximum support.
• The cuffs are designed to add stability to the elbow crutch and are not intended to
support the users weight.
• Care should be taken to ensure that all hand and height adjustments are secure
before using this or any mobility aid.
• If hand grips are exposed to extreme temperature [above 100°F (37°C) or below
32°F (0°C)], high humidity and/or becomes wet, prior to use, ensure hand grips
DO NOT twist on the crutch handle - otherwise damage or injury may occur.
• Before use, ensure that all hardware is tightened securely.

4 Usage
4.1 Leg Height Adjustment
1. Loosen the leg collar.
2. Depress the snap buttons and slide the leg to
the proper height for the user.
3. Tighten the leg collar.
4.2 Cuff Height Adjustment
1. Loosen the cuff collar.
2. Depress the snap button and slide the cuff to
the proper height for the user.
3. Tighten the cuff collar.

5 Care and Maintenance
1. Regular cleaning of the elbow crutches is recommended. Wipe all surfaces with a damp cloth and allow
all surfaces to dry before use.
2. Regular inspection of parts including hardware, brackets, and plastics, for deformation, corrosion,
breakage, wear or compression is recommended. Replace the crutches if any of these conditions exist.
3. If hand grips are loose, DO NOT use the crutches. If rubber crutch tips are worn or cracked, replace the
crutch tips IMMEDIATELY.

6 Limited Warranty - North America
PLEASE NOTE: THE WARRANTY BELOW HAS BEEN DRAFTED TO COMPLY WITH FEDERAL LAW APPLICABLE
TO PRODUCTS MANUFACTURED AFTER JULY 4, 1975.
This warranty is extended only to the original purchaser/user of our products.
This warranty gives you specific legal rights and you may also have other legal rights which vary from state to state.
Invacare warrants this product to be free from defects in materials and workmanship for three years for the original
purchaser. If within such warranty period any such product shall be proven to be defective, such product shall be repaired
or replaced, at Invacare’s option. This warranty does not include any labor or shipping charges incurred in replacement
part installation or repair of any such product. Invacare’s sole obligation and your exclusive remedy under this warranty
shall be limited to such repair and/or replacement.
For warranty service, please contact the dealer from whom you purchased your Invacare product. In the event you do
not receive satisfactory warranty service, please write directly to Invacare at the address on the back cover. Provide
dealer's name, address, model number, the date of purchase, indicate nature of the defect and, if the product is serialized,
indicate the serial number.
Invacare Corporation will issue a return authorization. The defective unit or parts must be returned for warranty
inspection using the serial number, when applicable, as identification within thirty (30) days of return authorization date.
DO NOT return products to our factory without our prior consent. C.O.D. shipments will be refused; please prepay
shipping charges.
LIMITATIONS AND EXCLUSIONS: THE WARRANTY SHALL NOT APPLY TO PROBLEMS ARISING FROM
NORMAL WEAR OR FAILURE TO ADHERE TO THE ENCLOSED INSTRUCTIONS. IN ADDITION, THE
FOREGOING WARRANTY SHALL NOT APPLY TO SERIAL NUMBERED PRODUCTS IF THE SERIAL NUMBER

1.2 Usage prévu
Les cannes anglaises sont conçues pour
augmenter la capacité à la marche, lorsque celle-ci
est limitée. Elles peuvent être utilisées à l’intérieur
comme à l’extérieur de la maison.
1.3 Étiquetage du produit
L’étiquette de la FIGURE 1.1 est apposée sur la
canne anglaise.
1.4 Réutilisation
La responsabilité sur le produit s’applique
uniquement à la première utilisation du produit
répertorié dans ce manuel. Si le produit est utilisé
une deuxième fois, il doit être révisé et inspecté
par un revendeur agréé. Cette révision doit
exclure une possible utilisation inappropriée
causée par un dommage apparent ou invisible.
1.5 Durée de vie
La durée de vie prévue du produit répertorié dans
ce manuel est de deux ans, lorsqu’il est utilisé
conformément aux consignes de sécurité et dans
le respect des intervalles d’entretien et de soin.
Au-delà de cette période, le produit peut être
utilisé uniquement s’il est en bon état. Une
maintenace doit être effectuée tous les six mois.

physiothérapeute/ergothérapeute doit aider au réglage de la hauteur de la canne
anglaise, afin que le soutien soit optimal.
• Les manchettes sont conçues pour rendre la canne anglaise plus stable et non pour
supporter le poids des utilisateurs.
• Veiller à ce que tous les réglages de la poignée et de la hauteur soient sécurisés avant
d’utiliser la canne anglaise ou toute autre aide à la mobilité.
• Si les poignées d’appui sont exposées à des températures extrêmes [supérieures à 37
C (100°F) ou inférieures à 0 °C (32°F)], à une forte humidité et/ou sont mouillées
avant leur utilisation, assurez-vous qu’elles NE SONT PAS vrillées sur la poignée de la
canne anglaise, sinon elles pourraient causer des dommages ou des blessures.
• Avant utilisation, veiller à ce que tout matériel soit solidement fixé.

4 Utilisation
4.1 Réglage de la hauteur de jambe
1. Desserrer le collet de blocage de la hauteur
de jambe.
2. Appuyer sur les boutons-pressions et faites
coulisser la section jambe de la canne pour la
régler à la hauteur souhaité.
3. Resserrer le collet de blocage de la hauteur de
jambe.
4.2 Réglage de la hauteur de
manchette
1. Desserrer le collet de blocage de la hauteur de
manchette.
2. Appuyer sur le bouton-pression et faites
coulisser la manchette pour la régler à la
hauteur souhaitée.
3. Resserrer le collet de blocage de la hauteur de
manchette.

5 Soin et entretien
1. Il est recommandé de nettoyer régulièrement les cannes anglaises. Essuyer toutes les surfaces avec un
chiffon doux humidifié et les laisser sécher avant de les utiliser.
2. Il est recommandé d’inspecter régulièrement les pièces, les supports et les parties en plastique afin de
s’assurer qu’ils ne sont pas déformés, corrodés, cassés, usés ou comprimés. Si c’est le cas, les cannes
anglaises doivent être remplacées.
3. Si les poignées d’appui sont desserrées, NE PAS utiliser les cannes anglaises. Si les extrémités en
caoutchouc sont usées ou fendues, les remplacer IMMÉDIATEMENT.

AVERTISSEMENT
Veiller à ce que les boutons-pressions
ressortent totalement de l’orifice de
réglage de la hauteur, afin d’éviter tout
risque de blessure ou de dommage.

remplacé à la discrétion d'Invacare. Cette garantie ne comprend pas les frais de main d'œuvre ou de transport engagés

1 Algemeen
1.1 Symbolen
In deze handleiding worden signaalwoorden gebruikt die wijzen op gevaren of onveilige
gebruiksmethoden die kunnen resulteren in persoonlijk letsel of materiële schade. Raadpleeg de
onderstaande informatie voor definities van de signaalwoorden.
Controleer ALLE onderdelen op beschadigingen als gevolg van transport. Gelieve het apparaat
NIET te gebruiken als er beschadiging als gevolg van transport is vastgesteld. Neem contact op
met het transportbedrijf of de verdeler voor verdere instructies.
Hier vindt u nuttige tips, aanbevelingen en informatie voor een efficiënt, zorgeloos
gebruik.
WAARSCHUWING
“Waarschuwing” geeft een mogelijk gevaarlijke situatie aan die, indien ze niet wordt
voorkomen, de dood of ernstig letsel tot gevolg kan hebben.
Symbool gebruikt op het product om de beperking van het gewicht aan te duiden
indien gebruikt per twee.
Dit product voldoet aan Richtlijn 93/42/EEG betreffende medische hulpmiddelen.

1.2 Beoogd gebruik
De krukken zijn bedoeld voor mensen met een
beperkt loopvermogen en dienen om hun
loopmogelijkheden te vergroten. De krukken
kunnen zowel binnenshuis als buitenshuis worden
gebruikt.
1.3 Etiket op het product
Dit etiket in AFBEELDING 1.1 is aangebracht op
het product.
1.4 Hergebruik
De productaansprakelijkheid geldt enkel voor het
eerste gebruik van het product dat in deze
handleiding wordt vermeld. Indien het product
een tweede keer wordt gebruikt, moet het door
de officiële verdeler worden nagekeken en
gecontroleerd. Door dat nazicht moet worden
uitgesloten dat het product op een verkeerde
manier zou worden gebruikt als gevolg van
duidelijke of onzichtbare schade.
1.5 Levensduur
De verwachte levensduur van het product dat in
deze handleiding vermeld staat, is twee jaar, indien
de veiligheidsinstructies, de onderhoudsperiodes
en de onderhoudinstructies worden opgevolgd.
Na die periode mag het product enkel worden
gebruikt indien het zich in een veilige toestand
bevindt. Het moet ten minste elke zes maanden
worden onderhouden.

WAARSCHUWING BIJ DE ACCESSOIRES
Invacare-producten worden speciaal ontworpen en gemaakt voor gebruik in
combinatie met Invacare-accessoires. Accessoires die zijn ontworpen door andere
fabrikanten, zijn niet getest door Invacare en worden niet aanbevolen voor gebruik
met Invacare-producten.
WAARSCHUWING
• Elke gebruiker moet ALTIJD zijn/haar arts of therapeut raadplegen om de juiste
instelling en de juiste gebruiksmethode te bepalen. Een fysiotherapeut of
ergotherapeut moet helpen om de juiste hoogte-instelling te bepalen voor een
optimale ondersteuning.
• De manchetten werden zo ontworpen, dat ze de stabiliteit van de elleboogkruk
verhogen. Ze zijn niet bedoeld om het gewicht van de gebruiker te ondersteunen.
• Zorg ervoor dat alle onderdelen voor hand- en hoogte-instellingen goed werden
vastgezet voordat u dit of een andere mobiliteitshulpmiddel gebruikt.
• Indien de handgrepen worden blootgesteld aan extreme temperaturen [meer dan
37°C (100°F) of minder dan 0°C (32°F)], of een hoge vochtigheid en/of indien ze
nat worden, dan moet u zich er voorafgaand aan het gebruik van vergewissen dat de
handgrepen NIET op het handvat van de kruk draaien. Anders kan dat leiden tot
schade of verwondingen.
• Kijk voor gebruik na dat alle onderdelen stevig vastzitten.

4 Gebruik
4.1 Instelling van de beenhoogte
1. Maak de beenring los.
2. Druk de palletjes in en schuif het beengedeelte
naar de juiste hoogte voor de gebruiker.
3. Zet de beenring vast.
4.2 Instelling van de manchethoogte
1. Maak de manchetring los.
2. Druk het palletje in en schuif de manchet naar
de juiste hoogte voor de gebruiker.
3. Zet de manchetring vast.

5 Verzorging en onderhoud
1. Het is aanbevolen om de elleboogkrukken regelmatig te reinigen. Wrijf alle oppervlakken schoon met een
vochtige doek en laat alle oppervlakken drogen voor gebruik.
2. Het is aanbevolen om de onderdelen, zoals de metalen onderdelen, de manchetten en de plastic
onderdelen regelmatig te controleren op vervorming, corrosie, breuk, slijtage of compressie. Vervang de
krukken indien u een van deze beschadigingen vaststelt.
3. Gebruik de krukken NIET indien de handgrepen los zitten. Vervang de rubberen doppen
ONMIDDELLIJK indien ze versleten of gescheurd zijn.

1 General
1.1 Símbolos

1.2 Indicaciones
Las muletas se han diseñado para ayudar a andar a
personas que presentan una capacidad de
deambulación limitada. Las muletas se pueden
utilizar tanto en el interior como en el exterior
del domicilio.
1.3 Etiquetado del producto
Esta etiqueta de la FIGURA 1.1 está adherida en el
producto.
1.4 Reutilización
La fiabilidad del producto únicamente es aplicable
a la primera utilización del producto indicada en
este manual. Si un producto se utiliza una segunda
vez, debe ser revisado e inspeccionado por un
distribuidor autorizado. Esta revisión no incluirá
un posible uso inadecuado causado por daños
obvios o invisibles.
1.5 Vida útil
La vida útil que se espera del producto y que se
indica en este manual cuando se utiliza de acuerdo
con las instrucciones de seguridad, los intervalos
de mantenimiento y las indicaciones sobre los
cuidados es de dos años. Una vez transcurrido
este periodo, el producto únicamente puede
utilizarse en condiciones de seguridad. Debe
realizarse un mantenimiento al menos cada seis
meses.
