Die CareMat mit 434 MHz Funksender ist kompatibel zu dem LE10-Funk-
empfänger von TeleAlarm. Der LE10 kann Funksignale verschiedener
TeleAlarm Funksender empfangen und sie an eine kabelgebundene Ruf-
anlage weiterleiten. Detaillierte Informationen zu diesem und weiteren kom-

2.2 Anwendungsbereiche und Funktion
Die CareMat wurde vorwiegend für den Einsatz in Alten- und Pflegehei-
men, Krankenhäusern und
Psychiatrien, sowie für betreutes Wohnen konzi-
piert. Die dort notwendige Pflege und Beaufsichtigung von dementen und
sturzgefährdeten Bewohnern stellt für das Betreuungspersonal einen erhöh-
ten Pflegeaufwand dar. Die CareMat ist die ideale Unterstützung: Sturzrisi-
ken sowie Gefahren, die sich durch Weglaufen oder Orientierungslosigkeit
ergeben, können erheblich verringert werden.
Die CareMat wird als druckempfindlicher Sensor direkt vor das Pflegebett
gelegt. Pro Zimmer wird ein LE10-Funkempfänger installiert und mit der
hausinternen Rufanlage verbunden. Sobald die Person das Bett verlässt und
auf die CareMat tritt, schaltet diese und sendet einen Alarm über den LE10
an die Rufanlage. Das kabellose Funksystem reduziert den Kabelwirrwarr
rund um das Pflegebett.
Wird die CareMat nicht benötigt,

Hinweise für das Pflegefachpersonal
• Die CareMat dient lediglich zur Unterstützung des Pflegefachpersonals, ersetzt die-
ses jedoch nicht.
• Vor jedem Einsatz muss die CareMat von einer eingewiesenen Person auf ihre Funk-
tionstüchtigkeit überprüft werden.
Hinweise für den Installateur
• Die elektrische Montage und Inbetriebnahme des Produkts darf nur von einer Fach-
kraft ausgeführt werden.
• Vermeiden Sie generell Berührungen mit elektronischen Bauteilen.
• ESD-Schutz beachten.

6.2 Programmierung des 434 MHz Funksenders
CareMat auf LE10 einlernen: Taste „T1“ 2 Sekunden lang drücken.
Danach blinkt LED 2 (rot) langsam. Innerhalb 30 Sekunden CareMat mittels
Betätigung einlernen. Bei erfolgreicher Programmierung blinken LED 1 und
LED 2 abwechselnd. Falls die CareMat bereits einprogrammiert wurde,
blinkt LED 2 sechs Sekunden lang schnell. Bei Nichtgebrauch oder bei Ver-
wendung in einem anderen Zimmer sollte die CareMat auf dem LE10
gelöscht werden. Damit wird sichergestellt, dass der Ruf nur in demjenigen
Zimmer ausgelöst wird, wo sich die CareMat auch tatsächlich befindet.
CareMat auf LE10 löschen: Taste „T1“ 5 Sekunden drücken, bis die
LED 1 (grün) beginnt zu blinken. Danach CareMat betätigen und 5 Sekunden
warten. Nun ist die CareMat gelöscht.

Hinweis: Wenn keine CareMat, respektive kein Funksender auf dem LE10
eingelernt ist, dann blinkt die LED2 (rot) alle 10 Sekunden drei Mal. Um das
zu vermeiden sollte immer eine CareMat auf dem LE10 eingelernt sein.

Wartung und Fehlersuche

Sollte die Funktion trotzdem nicht gewährleistet sein, sind folgende
Schritte zu prüfen:
• Ist die Rufanlage in Betrieb und der LE10 korrekt angeschlossen?
• Ist die CareMat korrekt auf den LE10 eingelernt?
• Ist die Funksenderbatterie in Ordnung?

Eine leere Funksenderbatterie (Ladezustand < 20%) wird folgendermassen
angezeigt: LED 2 (rot) blinkt alle 10 Sekunden und Relais 2 ist eingeschaltet.
Wenn die Batterie gewechselt wurde, werden LED 2 und Relais 2 ausge-
schaltet, sobald eine Tagesmeldung oder eine Betätigung der CareMat
erkannt wurde.
Pro Zimmer wird ein LE10-Funkempfänger installiert, welcher über das Zim-
merterminal an die Rufanlage angeschlossen wird. Die Werkseinstellungen
werden beibehalten: Alle Mikroschalter S3 sind auf OFF. Dies entspricht
dem Betriebsmodus Normal. Im Standby-Modus leuchtet die LED 1 (grün)
konstant. Tritt eine Person auf eine zugeordnete CareMat, wird ein Alarm-
signal an den LE10 übertragen. Die LED 2 (rot) leuchtet und der Relais 1
Ausgang schaltet für 10 Sekunden.
Mit einem dünnen spitzen Gegenstand (vorzugsweise aus
Kunststoff) die Batterie aus der Halterung drücken.
Die Batterie herausziehen und neue Batterie mit dem + Pol
nach oben einsetzen.

• Bei Transport und Lagerung starkes Durchbiegen der CareMat ver-
meiden.
• Die CareMat trocken, sauber und flach lagern.
• Keine schweren Lasten auf der CareMat lagern und nicht mehr als
10 verpackte Matten aufeinander stapeln.
• Die CareMat kann mit handelsüblichen Desinfektions- und
Reinigungsmitteln mit max. 70 Vol% Alkohol gereinigt werden.
K eine ätzenden Mittel verwenden.
• Die CareMat ist weder autoklavierbar, noch dampfdesinfizierbar.

The CareMat with 434 MHz Radio Transmitter is compatible with the LE10
Radio Receiver from TeleAlarm. The LE10 can receive radio signals from
different TeleAlarm radio transmitters and relay them to a cable connected
call system. Detailed information on this and further compatible

2.2 Areas of application and function
The CareMat was primarily designed for use in elderly people’s and care
homes, hospitals and psychiatric wards as well as for sheltered residential
accommodation. The necessary care and supervision of patients with
dementia and of those who are at risk of falling represents a significant
increase in care expenditure for care practitioners. The CareMat is the ide-
al support: Risks of falling and the dangers which arise from wandering or
loss of orientation can be significantly reduced.
The CareMat, as a pressure-sensitive sensing device, is laid directly in
front of the care bed. One LE10 transmitter per room is to be installed and
connected to the internal call system. As soon as the person leaves the bed
and steps onto the CareMat, it switches on and sends out an alarm signal
to the call system via the LE10. The wireless signalling system reduces the
hazardous tangle of wiring around the care bed.

• The CareMat operates purely as a support for the nursing staff, but is not
a substitute for them.
• The functionality of the CareMat is to be checked each time that it is
used.
Notes for the installer
• The electrical installation work and commissioning of the product may
only be carried out by a qualified technician.
• Avoid touching any electronic components.
• ESD safety rules should be observed.

Tuning the CareMat to the LE10: Press “T1“key for 2 seconds. LED 2
(red) flashes slowly. Tune-in CareMat within 30 seconds by activating it.
When the programming has been successfully completed, LED 1 and LED 2
flash alternately. If the CareMat has already been programmed, LED 2 flas-
hes rapidly for six seconds. When not being used or when being used in
another room, the CareMat should be switched off on the LE10. This way it
can be ensured that the call is only triggered in the specific room where the
CareMat is actually located.
To switch off CareMat on LE10: Press the “T1” key for 5 seconds until
the LED 1 (green) starts to flash. Then activate CareMat and wait for
5 seconds. The CareMat is now switched-off.
Note: If no CareMat, or no transmitter is tuned-in on the LE 10, the LED 2
(red) flashes three times every 10 seconds. In order to avoid this, a CareMat
should always be tuned-in on the LE10.
6.2 Programming the 434 MHz radio transmitter
With a thin, pointed object (preferably plastic), push the battery
out of the housing compartment.
Insert the new battery, ensuring the positive (+) side is facing
you (as shown in the drawing above).

If despite this the function is not being provided, the following checks
should be made:
• Is the call system operating and the LE10 connected correctly?
• Is the CareMat correctly tuned-in to the LE10?
• Is the signal transmitter battery OK?

A run-down transmitter battery (charge condition < 20%) is displayed in the
following manner: LED 2 (red) flashes every 10 seconds and Relay 2 is swit-
ched on. When the battery has been changed, LED 2 and Relay 2 are swit-
ched-off as soon as a daily data transmission or an activation of the
CareMat has been recognised.
One LE10 transmitter, which is connected to the call system via the room
terminal, is to be installed per room. The factory settings are to be retained:
all S3 micro switches are to be OFF. This corresponds to the Normal opera-
ting mode. The LED 1 (green) is constantly lit in the Standby mode. If any-
one steps on an assigned CareMat, an alarm signal is transmitted to the
LE10. The LED 2 (red) illuminates and the Relay 1 output switches on for
10 seconds.
• During transport and storage, any significant bending of the
CareMat should be avoided.
• Store the CareMat in a dry, clean and flat location.
• Do not place any heavy loads on the CareMat and do not stack
more than 10 packed mats on top of each other.
• The CareMat can be cleaned using commercially available disinfecting
and cleaning agents with max. 70 vol% alcohol.
No corrosive agents should be used.
• The CareMat is neither autoclavable nor can it be disinfected using
steam.

do not overtighten.

6.2 Programmation de l’émetteur radio 434 MHz
Connexion de CareMat au LE10 : Appuyer 2 secondes sur la touche
„T1“. La LED 2 (rouge) clignote lentement. Connecter dans les 30 secondes
en appuyant sur CareMat. Si la programmation a réussi, les LED 1 et 2 cli-
gnotent en alternance. Si le CareMat a déjà été programmé, la LED 2 cli-
gnote rapidement pendant six secondes. En cas de non utilisation ou d’in-
stallation dans une autre chambre, le CareMat doit être déconnecté du
LE10. Cela garantit que l’appel est lancé seulement dans la pièce où se
trouve effectivement le CareMat.
Déconnextion de CareMat du LE10: Appuyer sur la touche “T1“,
jusqu’à ce que la LED 1 (verte) commence à clignoter. Activer ensuite le
CareMat et attendre 5 secondes. Le CareMat est maintenant mis à zéro.

Une batterie vide de l’émetteur radio (état de charge <20%) est affichée
comme suit: La LED 2 (rouge) clignote toutes les 10 secondes et le relais 2
est déconnecté. Lorsque la batterie est remplacée, la LED 2 et le relais 2
sont déconnectés, jusqu’à ce qu’un rapport journalier ou un actionnement
du CareMat soit reconnu.
Un récepteur radio LE10 est installé par chambre et raccordé au centre
d’appel via le terminal des chambres. Les réglages d’usine sont conservées:
Tous les micro-interrupteurs S3 sont sur OFF. Ceci correspond au mode de
fonctionnement normal. En mode Standby, la LED 1 (verte) est allumée con-
stamment. Lorsqu’une personne marche sur un CareMat installé, un signal
d’alarme est envoyé au LE10. La LED 2 (rouge) s’allume et la sortie-relais 1
se connecte pendant 10 secondes.
Poussez la pile de son support avec un objet pointu et
mince (de préférence en matière plastique).
Retirez la pile et installez la nouvelle pile avec le pôle positif (+)
vers le haut.

• Pendant le transport et le rangement, éviter une forte flexion du
CareMat.
• Entreposer le CareMat sec, propre et à plat entre 0°C et +55°C.
• Ne pas poser de charge lourde sur le CareMat et ne pas ranger
plus de 10 tapis les uns sur les autres.
• Le CareMat peut être nettoyé avec des désinfectants et des produits de
nettoyage avec max. 70% d’alcool disponibles dans le commerce.
Ne pas utiliser de produits caustiques.
• Le CareMat n’est ni autoclavable ni désinfectable par vapeur.

Retirer le couvercle du boîtier situé au dos du dispositif
(6 vis à tête fraisée M3x5, empreinte PH1)
Replacer le couvercle du boîtier, serrer délicatement les 6 vis à la
main sans forcer.
Si tous les points nécessaires sont remplis, mais que le fonctionnement du
CareMat n’est cependant toujours pas assuré, faire appel à un profession-
nel qualifié.
Le CareMat ne nécessite aucun entretien autre que le changement de la batterie. Ne serrer que légèrement les vis!

Il CareMat con trasmettitore 434 MHz è tra l’altro compatibile con il ricevi-
tore radiofonico LE10 della TeleAlarm. Il dispositivo LE10 è in grado di rice-
vere segnali radio di diversi trasmettitori TeleAlarm e li trasmette ad un
impianto di chiamata cablato. Informazioni dettagliate su questi ed altri dis-

2.2 Applicazioni e funzione
Il CareMat è stato creato soprattutto per un impiego in case di cura, case
per anziani, ospedali, cliniche psichiatriche e alloggi sorvegliati. Le cure e
la sorveglianza di persone affette da demenza e con problemi di deambula-
zione, richiedono un notevole sforzo al personale curante. Il CareMat offre
un valido aiuto: minimizza considerevolmente il rischio di cadute così come
il pericolo che qualcuno abbandoni la struttura o si perda.
Il CareMat viene posato direttamente davanti al letto del paziente, come
sensore sensibile alla pressione. In ogni camera viene installato un radiori-
cevitore LE10, che viene collegato all’impianto di chiamata interno. Quando
una persona si alza dal letto e calpesta il CareMat, viene trasmesso un
segnale di allarme attraverso il dispositivo LE10 all’impianto di chiamata.
Il sistema radio wireless riduce l’ingombro dei cavi attorno al letto del
paziente.
Quando il CareMat non è necessa-
rio, esso può essere posto sotto il
letto.

• L’installazione elettrica e la messa in servizio del prodotto possono essere ef-
fettuate soltanto da un esperto.
• Evitare in generale di venire a contatto con i componenti elettronici.
• Osservare la protezione ESD.

6.2 Programmazione del trasmettitore radio 434 MHz
Impostare il CareMat sul dispositivo LE10: Premere il tasto „T1“per 2
secondi. In seguito il LED 2 (rosso) lampeggerà lentamente. Impostare le
funzionalità del CareMat entro 30 secondi. Se la programmazione è avvenu-
ta con successo, il LED 1 e LED 2 lampeggiano in modo alternato. Se il
CareMat è stato già programmato , il LED 2 lampeggia rapidamente per sei
secondi. Quando non in uso o se impiegato in un’altra camera, il CareMat
deve essere scollegato dal dispositivo LE10. Questo assicura che la chiama-
ta viene inviata solo dalla camera in cui sono installati i CareMat.
Scollegare il CareMat dal LE10: Premere il tasto „T1“ per 5 secondi,
fino a quando il LED 1 (verde) inizia a lampeggiare. Quindi premere CareMat
ed attendere 5 secondi. Ora il CareMat è scollegato.
Sostituzione della batteria
Nota: Quando nessun CareMat, o nessun trasmettitore radio è impiegato
sul dispositivo LE10, il LED 2 (rosso) lampeggia ogni 10 secondi per tre vol-
te. Per evitare ciò, deve essere sempre collegato un CareMat al dispositivo
LE10.
Manutenzione e risoluzione dei problemi

Se il dispositivo non funziona, esaminare i seguenti punti:
• L’impianto di chiamata in uso ed il dispositivo LE10 sono collegati corret-
tamente?
• Il CareMat funziona correttamente con il dispositivo LE10?
• La batteria della radio trasmittente non riscontra alcun problema?
6.1 Configurazione ricevitore radiofonico LE10

La batteria scarica del trasmettitore radio (stato di carica < 20%) viene indi-
cata come segue: LED 2 (rosso) lampeggia ogni 10 secondi ed il relè 2 è
acceso. Quando la batteria viene sostituita, il LED 2 ed il relè 2 si spengono
quando non appena verrà riconosciuto il funzionamento del CareMat.
In ogni camera viene installato un radioricevitore LE10 che, attraverso il ter-
minale della camera, viene collegato all’impianto di chiamata. Le imposta-
zioni di fabbrica sono così predisposte: tutti i microinterruttori S3 sono
impostati su OFF. Ciò corrisponde alla modalità di funzionamento normale.
In modalità stand-by, si resta illuminato il LED (verde). Se una persona cal-
pesta il CareMat, viene trasmesso un segnale di allarme al dispositivo
LE10. Il LED 2 (rosso) si illumina ed il relè di uscita 1 si accende per 10
secondi.
Usando un oggetto sottile ed appuntito (preferibilmente di
plastica) estrarre la batteria dal supporto.
Estrarre la batteria e inserire quella nuova con il polo + rivolto
verso l’alto.

• Durante il trasporto e la conservatione evitare forti flessioni del
CareMat.
• Conservare il CareMat in un luogo asciutto, pulito e piatto.
• Non posizionare carichi pesanti sul CareMat e non impilare più di
10 tappeti confezionati uno sopra l’altro.
• Il CareMat può essere pulito solo con disinfettanti disponibili in commer-
cio e con prodotti per la pulizia con max. 70 % volume di alcol.
Non utilizzare detergenti caustici.
• Il CareMat non è autoclavabile, né sterilizzabile a vapore.

Rimuovere il coperchio posteriore dell’alloggiamento
(6 viti a testa svasata M3x5, a croce dimensioni PH1)
Rimontare il coperchio dell’alloggiamento, serrare a mano con cura
le 6 viti, non stringere eccessivamente.
Se i punti menzionati funzionano correttamente, ma le funzionalità del
CareMat non si avviano, rivolgersi ad un esperto.
Il CareMat non necessita manutenzione per la sostituzione della batteria. Stringere leggermente le viti.
